Synopsis
After an Earth-born cultivator uses an ancient treasure on a dying man, he is reincarnated on a distant planet. But he's a MC, so he can't cultivate like everyone else. This strict cultivation method from the ancient treasure responsible for his rebirth wants him to become a demon, while the MC just wants to live forever.
A fanfic of Against the Gods with a comedic, lighthearted tone for the most part. Reading the source material isn't required, the MC has his own path to follow.
MC is self aware of xianxia tropes, but not Against the Gods as a novel.
LONG TERM HIATUS on account of the fact that I was having a difficult time fleshing out totally original characters to reach cannon. Also, I decided to completely focus on my original novel, Odd, the Conquering Gob.

This novel is hilarious I was dying with the setting I just hope the mc continues to take everything not serious and makes jokes and along the way maybe getting some really weird powers that are really op but hard or funny to use.
While a fanfic, the events my character is involved in will mostly be original and separate from Yun Che's travels. They won't even meet until the Illusory Demon Realm Arc. I mostly just like the universe. The MC starts out a bit of an idiot because he doesn't realize the gravity of his new life, but while he will eventually grow into his own, I plan for him to always be a bit sarcastic and to point out things that nearly break the fourth wall. Anyways, enjoy.
