To be honest at the starting, "The Upgrade" is the best novel I've ever read. This thrilling webnovel seamlessly weaves together the mundane and the extraordinary in the busy streets of Boston. Alex's journey, from a boring life to a high-tech transformation, is nothing short of captivating. As he gains super-smarts and confronts a terrorist plot, the story becomes an emotional rollercoaster, questioning the essence of humanity in a world of upgrades. My favourite chapter is that when he goes to a bullet train in Japan and fights some criminals, unexpected plot twist in train, shocking bomb blast at Fushimi Inari Shrine, Connection between the criminal and alex, The way people speak japanese is just mind-blowing. The way Alex is introduced, the way the author describes the scene so well is just awesome. The way he saves Mumbai from another terrorist attack is super hit. If a movie was to be made on this book, it would be Super-Blockbuster. Overall, if I had one word to say about this novel, here it is: Masterpiece. The fusion of everyday life and high-tech adventures is brilliantly executed, prompting contemplation on the sacrifices we make for progress. The narrative is so enthralling that I find myself eagerly waiting for the next chapter so bad. "The Upgrade" is a must-read, leaving readers with a profound exploration of the blurred line between man and machine.
