Chapter 44: They Are Powerful

"How did I even do that?" Annalise asked for the dozenth time as she stared at the basket filled with the green apples that she magically grew on the age-old apple tree trunk.

She was now sitting on the grass-covered ground with Pristine still busy inspecting the tree to search for only stars knew what.

"This isn't really bad, to be honest." The fairy finally spoke as she came to take a seat beside Annalise on the ground. "It means that you have the powers inside you, just need someone to guide you." 

"What are you talking about?" Annalise asked as she picked up one of the apples and smelled it, immediately getting attacked by its sweet and alluring scent that enticed her to take a bite. But instead of doing that, she shoved the apple back into the basket.

"They are good, you can eat them," Pristine told her as she picked up one of the apples and took a huge bite, even closing her eyes as she enjoyed the sweetness of the juicy fruit.
