Synopsis
Emma worked hard to provide for her family. Her parent’s lost their jobs and her brother distanced himself away from the family. After moving to a new hospital, she encountered a variety of people who are obsessed with virtual reality. They suffer problems such as malnutrition and end up in the hospital. Emma was offered to join with her boss to be promoted to a new position at the recently opened VR psychiatric ward.

So, the single chapter of the book left me with a few questions which makes me look forward to more chapters. so I would say it got my interest instead of curiosity. looking forward to know why Emma hates VR and why it's been used in a hospital. Feels like I'm reading a combination of a sci-fi and urban genre which is quite a breather from my usual reads. as for world build and word build , I have nor issues with that. But update stability? 5 years ago? 🤣🤣 I was spooked. still, good job with the book. first chapters proposes a promising future.
