Blood rumbled through Sean's head, his chest felt too laden, the shadows engulf him from all over around him, his breathing stopped, his heart stammered, dark spots danced before his eyes, and for the life of him, he could not move to turn his head. He felt frozen to the spot, yet he could hear Vnee Medea's angry shouting “You are nothing to me, human, this cave will trap you forever!”

A moment passed, maybe even more and the only thought that kept drumming through his head was....no-no-no! It recited with every sluggish, unbearable beat of his heart. It could not be true, not even his father would be that aggressive that foolish. That cruel, yet the monster in his nightmare were his fears!
