Lots of good ideas but it's not that well executed. Toriko just acheives all kinds of different techniques without any effort or challange in the story. It makes the whole grab-bag of powers he gets pretty bland. Referencing things is good, but if the story included the application of the powers he trains up in a dangerous situation, or hitting a bottle-neck in training and the problem solving needed to resolve it, the story would be a lot more compelling.

The characters ruin the story as well as the alteration of the world background of naruto. To be honest I felt like the author defiled Toriko with this story. Not gonna explain anymore than this. Just read it and judge for yourself.

I finally finished binge reading the entire story, and while a couple of my past comments might seem to speak negatively, i feel that as the story progressed, it started to get better and make more sense. It is nice that the MC isn't the only one improving, but others as well, however it seems that the MC only REALLY improves after eating. The 'power ups' so to speak make sense because he possesses Gourmet Cells, but with how much training he does, i feel he should already be more skilled and powerful, but that's just me. Still a good story regardless.

I gotta say I was disappointed. Going into this I was hoping for a character who was like Toriko, I didn’t really care that the mc was majorly nerfed, or that he was the younger brother of Kurenai, but the way the character was done just wasn’t to my taste. I think the novel is definitely a good novel and deserves 3.5/5 stars. I think what hurt you was world building, specifically that this is a fanfiction so I never give full points for that to fanfiction, and the other place you got hurt in my opinion was character design which I just didn’t really like. Good luck with your work I hope you stick with it and keep your bigger fans happy.

Really good story so far I like how the character is progressing and the abilities he’s gaining along with the with development in his personality and relationships. Like the changes to the story too that differentiates it from canon a little for the better and the playful style of writing that you get from a character like Torino that’s wild and likes to hunt big game to eat.

didn't read past chapter 2, mc is reincarnated with torikios powers, but no muscles, no murda murda murdas nerfed the gormet ability, I stoped at chapter 2 because this seems to be another generic fantasy fulfillment mc who wrecks the cannon has no character development and ends up in a bunch of situations that make no sense due to "plot"

I really like this book but I'm only giving a review now cuz I saw it in one of the recommended sections of one of my books cuz I lost a lot of my books cuz my app didn't save my books in my library and a lot of them disappeared but I had already been finished this book so it's been a while so I can't really point out what happened in it because I only remember some of it well not some I remember a lot but at the same time I don't remember details only some details I'm reading way too many books at the same time even if they're in the same world or genre like right now I'm currently reading like 30 different books and I'm still looking to add more like my read list has no correction my library is the 3,000 books limit I have three different read lists and two of them are over are at the 500 limit

I really hope that author-sensei completes this. I loved the crocodile in MHA fanfiction and this is up there with it. The plot is well developed and its different coz the mc isn't best friends with naruto like all the other naruto fanfics.
