Chapter 10: How I’m going to train.
After leaving the tower alongside my team we spent the night partying at a near by restaurant where we ate and drank the night away. Kurenai was happy to get her hands on some left over snake summon which improved her skin immensely making it smoother and stronger.
Hinata was escorted back to her clans compound to be debriefed by hisashi most likely. They probably want her dizzy fist but it won't work, Hinata won't talk about it after Kurenai put her through a genjutsu if some kind that prevents info leakage. She developed herself and sold it to the hokage for a hefty sum.
I spent the night consoling hana as she's terrified of what her mother was going to do to her. I spent the night feeding her meat and gifting her head pats that she adored based on her panting. The ninken received a lot of meat dishes that night. After escorting her back to her clan ten minutes later me and my sister were greeted with howls.
After getting home and putting my drunk sister to bed I meditated abit then went to sleep. After waking up I thought over my options for how to improve for next month. Adding more jutsu won't cut it for the invasion, increasing chakra and control is two time consuming. I need something that'll give me an immense power boost in a short amount of time. Finding more foods to eat is one method but I'll need something high quality like the summoned snake.
Summoned? I pondered and the light bulb went off. I should get a summon contract. By choosing the right one I can get several jutsu, a powerful summon and if I'm lucky senjutsu down the line. I went over all the scrolls that can be found in konoha while making a massive breakfast for myself and sister. An Irish fry works wonders for a hangover. She awoke and made her way to the dinner table displaying a look of sloppiness never once seen in the show.
Alas that is family, you see them at their best and you see them as a hungover hobo. She devoured the food like a wolf. I decided to ask her.
" nee-chan I don't suppose you have a summon contract with anyone?" She looked at me confused " I have made contracts with a few chakra beasts but never one of the main groups, why?" It was after that I explained my plan to either find a summon scroll or reverse summon myself and explained the benefits of doing so. Surprisingly my sister who loves to get stronger never considered senjutsu as a means of growth and has now begin pondering about it. She told me about kakashi and guy having summons so I should ask them.
So I got washed and dressed then made my way to kakashi's apartment but not before grabbing an offering. Icha Icha wild life, a new release in the series about the main protagonist being summoned to a wild tribe of women. As a man of culture I've read the series once or thrice. In my house every book is there, my sister tried to get rid of them but I slapped her with the argument of burning her reverse icha icha series. Yes the female counterpart exists and is written by master tonton which means tsunade and shizune.
Shizune probably wrote her version to earn pocket money for herself now every lonely woman and house wife in the elemental nations reads them. After grabbing the book and making my way towards the dorm. I knocked politely and was greeted with the scarecrow and his iconic masked smile.
" what can I do for you toriko-kun". "Hi kakashi- san I was wondering if I could get your help with something. Don't worry it'll be worth your while".
He looked intrigued so he invited me in. His room was lined with seals and books with most of them being icha icha or equivalents. I then placed the book on the table and he looked in awe. "Is that the Artic version of icha icha wild life with the northern water tribe" he asked with shining eyes and a hungry tone. I nodded " I need a favour". "Name it".
I took a deep breath " after much consideration I want you to reverse summon me so I can train with the ninken summons for the chunin finals". He blinked "seriously" I nodded and he exhaled "it's a good plan to train there honestly. I did it myself when I was younger and I got a lot of valuable lessons there. I'll summon one of the dogs and ask if you can go there for a month but be warned the environment there is harsh and not every creature is friendly".
I nodded to him and left for an hour to pack supplies. Food, water, flint, make shift tent, cooking utensils, ninja tools and the like. I bid my sister farewell for a month but she was mumbling something about a cat sage so I left a note. After arriving back to kakashi I was greeted with paku.
"This the kid kakashi, looks wild. He'll fit right in" I grinned as he reverse summoned me. Being summoned is a trip as everything just starts vibrating before fading into lines before realigning as some place else. "Welcome to our land, it has many names but most call it the dogs den". It was a small town like area with many dogs walking around either on four legs or two. I could smell a lot of scents from them and I could smell a lot of meat. I asked him about the area and he told me what he knew.
Their land is surrounded by chakra beasts who are unintelligent so they hunt them for food and training. If I wanted to earn a summon it's much like a business transaction which I'm familiar with. He told me that within the area existed; dogs, foxes, pigeons, chickens, ducks, cranes, cows and buffalos. "These the ones open to summoning" "yup although there are a few ones with conditions but their hard to meet". I was curious.
" like who? Paku san". He grumbled while he thought about it. "There is the goat summons that demand rare metal to eat and they also need to be groomed. You also need to present them with a sheep wife from the neighbouring clan however the sheep clan is close with the ram clan and refuses the goats due to this. There is the crocodiles and turtles who demand to be polished under water which is their attempt to drown you. The horse clan who wants to joust and the rhino clan who demand you take a tackle defenceless from whoever you wish to contract with. They use jutsu to make themselves even deadlier and their condition for their contract scroll is to take everyone's attacks so no one has".
Jesus Christ, if I want to make a real improvement I might need to choose one. "Any one else?" "One other clan however they haven't taken anyone on since the sage of six paths. Our counter part the wolf clan. They gave a condition that the member has to be wild and have skills but no one knows what those are. Everyone who tried never came back alive".
I smiled "where can I find them?" He looked at me with pity and then sighed exaggeratedly. "15km south is one of their hunting spots, if you meet one say a ninken sent you and they might hear you out as we do trades some times. Nice knowing ya kid" he said sauntering away.
I took off running in the direction after getting my bearings. I checked the dog den before leaving to gain some knowledge before leaving. Apparently the wolf clan has two great sages like the toads which is amazing for any clan. If I can contract them I won't have any worries about Orochimaru gunning for me during the invasion.
After making my into the forest for about three hours with bob strip running. I made camp then went to hunt. I found an unintelligent bear with two extra arms and had a red fur colouring. Keeping my guard up I sneaked to attack him with my ice pick to kill it but it moved at the last second and breathed fire towards me.
I fired the pick into the air to hit the fire ball, luckily I kept it at three fold so I didn't waste much chakra. I rolled back and made a shadow clone which I sent up towards the tree to throw senbon at it while I used mole jutsu to go under the bear.
While it thrashed around and began firing towards the clone it got hit in the eye forcing it to roar and stand on its hind legs. I used the chance to cast head hunter Jutsu burins it up to its head. The weight was no issue for me thanks to my training and chakra strengthening. After the bear was buried my clone stabbed it in the brain and helped me remove it from the ground.
I carried it back to camp and made a few Earth walls around the perimeter so as to prevent predators. I skinned the bear to use it's pelt as a blanket and began to cook it. I butchered the meat into steaks, meatballs, tender loins, burger patties and processed to make smash burgers with the meat along with bear stew. After two hours of cooking I had a feast to enjoy.
After finishing my feasts and storing the leftover meat I felt the food fighter jutsu kicked in. My arm and leg strength grew immensely and I could feel my knife and fork grow sharper. While I basked in the improvements I sensed bloodlust. I turned to see a pair of pink eyes glaring at me as it made its way through the shadows.
A monster must have come looking for the meat I thought. As I was getting ready I heard "DDDIIIIiEEeE!!!" As the monster lunges at me. I raised my fists and used earth style stone fist jutsu to blast it back. It landed near my campfire unharmed as it jumped back to avoid damage and rid the fist to get launched. Using the fire I could get a good look at it.
I grinned happily as I looked at my opponent. A young white wolf.
