Trapped: Annabelle

“May I see my gift you hide behind your back?” the scent it held confused her. It was so diluted with the smell of mud.

“Very impatient I see.” He gave her another warm smile and lightly kissed her on the forehead. He moved to the side to show Anna her gift.

She froze and her eyes went wide as she focused on what Dedreak was hiding. She couldn’t believe her eyes as she blinked hard and looked again. He was still there.

“A… a boy?”
