Talented and arrogant Chris Chan has always grown up to be disconnected from his culture, and in a last attempt to reconcile the gap, his father decides to send him to his grandpa's rice field farm for him to learn the hard way.

Simple and easy-going Meileen has always wondered about the world beyond the rice fields she had grown up with. When she learns that a city boy was to join them for a month, she's more than ecstatic to finally get the answers to the life she'd always dreamt of.

But Chris isn't like any main movie character and Meileen is not like the girls back home. Follow these two young adults as they struggle to reconcile with their roots while navigating through life, friendship and possibly love.
