Chapter 108: Changes In City

Arriving at the Northern gate, a multitude of spectators watched from a distance, their faces filled with fear. Following their gaze, he finally spotted it.

Before the forest, several poles were thrust into the ground, each displaying a severed head. 

The heads bore expressions of terror and agony, reflecting the intense emotions they must have experienced before their deaths.

As he counted them one by one, he reached a total of 40. Every person that Lily had offended had met a grim fate. 

According to information from Emilia, these deaths were attributed to a group of terrorists known as the 'Last Luminous'.

He wondered why no one had removed them and approached a nearby spectator. "Why has no one taken them down?" he inquired. The girl jumped in fright, turning to see who had asked the question.
