Chapter 98: Unaffected

"Drink more, the doctor said you are dehydrated." A cold but soft feminime voice ordered. Her voice was so overwhelming that it somehow managed to tune out the ruckus in the background and Jian Yu knew who without even looking. 

Was she the one stroking his hair just now? The silverette flushed in embarrassment. Maybe he really shouldn't wake up at all. 

She held a glass of water near his mouth and Jian Yu knew not to refuse her. He better drink rather than ignoring her orders and face her wrath. He didn't want a problem, thank you very much. It was much better staying at her good side, after all. 

He carefully drank, ignoring the way how his hand shook when he fumbled for a moment but managed to curl his fingers around the glass and drank. 

"Was that supposed to happen?" The young Beta heard a voice asked.
