Growing up, Konan, an orphan, was forced to move from city to city as potential adopters changed their minds and sent her to the nearest halfway house. Because she couldn't stay in one place for long, the girl was unable to form lasting friendships with her peers at school or with other orphans. She enters an art competition at the age of 19, hoping to win a scholarship to Amegakure's esteemed University of Art. By some miracle, she actually wins. Konan immediately packs up and moves into the dorms because she has nothing and no one holding her back. Little did she know that the university has coed dorms and that her roommate is a quiet, intimidating man with orange hair and numerous piercings. How will she respond to her first-ever friends, enemies, and even her first crush?
