Chapter 1: The Man Hidden By God
John Adams was a man who lived an ordinary life, he had ordinary friends, an ordinary family and an ordinary job. For some reason though, he never really got along with people as well as it may seem. Although he has friends, it was more out of social obligation, it was the same with his family and job just another social obligation.
He had just finished his shift as an office worker and his wife had told him to get some milk on the way back. So as the good husband he is, he made his way towards the gas station that was close to his house, and as he was crossing the road so he could get to the gas station.
A drunk truck driver who had been speeding and didn't see that the light had turned red, had continued going and had hit John instantly killing him. Yes, that's right, he was hit by the most clichéd death in history.

A young man at the young age of 16 jumped up from his bed holding his head with an expression full of pain on his face. Thats right that boy is John, or in this world he world be zephan, the son of a noble baron who wasted his life away being a play boy and living off his fathers reputation.
John then had a head splitting headache and in the next second memories of zephan rushed into his brain.Zephan had also died of a sudden heart attack but his was caused from excessive alcohol and not taking care of his body well enough. Though, now that John had taken over zephan's body he had to clean his act up and live a better life.

Zephan, had also inherited more memories other than how he died and who he was. He learnt that the world he reincarnated into was named vita, it was named after the Goddess Of Life VITA who was said to have created all life.
He also learnt that the world was in the medieval period meaning no technology and only cold weapons, it had kingdom, churches, wars and a very strict social hierarchy. Zephan was a waste with no talent, this was also one of the reasons he could do what ever he wanted in his territory, Another reason was the fact that he was the youngest of four brothers who all had a lot more talent than he did.
'Although I agree with my previous self being a useless leach, now that I have taken over this body I will rise to the top of this world and prove everyone wrong',He thought with a confident smile on his face.
Just as he was thinking about what to do next, a knock was heard on his door."Come in." zephan said, the door swung open and the maid that knocked on the door said."Young master, the Baron is calling for you to appear in the main hall."
