All the poor librarian can do was to glare at him, didn't want to be ridiculed by him. I just lowered my head, didn't want to see him being hurt like this. I just want to push that lord out of my master's way… but I know that I can't do anything with the situation.
            "Don't be a liar, you piece of trash." The lord hissed with both of his eyebrows sticking with each other, while still poking Sir Leonard in the chest with great force, causing him to feel the ache in his body. After seconds of torture while I tried to close my eyes from it, it finally ended and the noble was satisfied by what he was doing.    With those last words, he and all of his guards finally left the library, leaving the whole place in peace for a while. I sighed in relief as I can see no more traces of them.       "Thanks, Meria." Sister Beddeth said with a sincere smile plastered on her face as she continued to stare at the joyful children in front of us. I turned to look at her then back to the kids with the same smile. "It's been a great help to teach them with these. You and Sir Leonard have been a really great help." 
"No problem. We're glad that we could help." I replied.
     But after that exchange of thanks, her face became serious and her smile disappeared in an instant, a sudden idea came into her mind.
 "It's a shame these kids won't be going to the real school to study." She said with both of her eyebrows raised, filled with worry. My eyes widened because of what I heard.

                     Actually after advice from Aditi Mrunal (The wife of soldire who comment on her article) decided that she will try to act like that otherwise any day is good for suicide, She decided she will visit her mother in law actually they don't like each other and don't talk with each other, her mother in law doesn't like her profession and also want her to bear a child, now she thinks if she listen her that might be good, She know that Sachin want them to do patch up so she decided to visit, anyhow she is already dead inside what bad will happen, but when she go to meet her mother in law Shilpa, Shilpa hug her and start cruying saying that she is sorry for forcing her, now her son is gone she only have her, listening this Mrunal also feel sad, she forgot that like she loose her husband this woman lose her only son, Sachin;s father died when he is 7 year old, from then onward this woman raise him, and give him love of both mother and father, after gradutating he join army even though his mother is against her, now she understand why shilpa tell her to stay at home, she is too alone all the time, she really wronged her, if she died Shilpa will be too heart broken, how lucky she was to having mother in lwaw like her, even though she is against her career, when she is at home, shilpa make her favourite food, and also shilpa talk with her mother just like a sister, she doesn't tell anyone about her mothers death, after getting in a warm embrace she cant control but tell her about this and start crying, listening this Shilpa also get sad, after some time both of them get calmed down. After that Mrunal tells her everything and tells her that she wanted to fulfill Sachin;'s dream listening to this Shilpa said  "don't even think about suicide, my son treats you as a treasure even if he is not here you have to live for him." Listening to this for the first time in this whole year Mrunal smile. After that they talk for a long time, they even forgot about hunger, when they realized this night arrived so they decided they will be ordered something, Shilpa said she will make something but Mrunal stop her, and said that until the food arrives to find out what Sachin's wishes, and then make plan, After finding and reading his old diaries and letters they find out some things.
1. He wanted to start a hospital in their village.
2. He wanted to make his wife and mother happy and complete their all wish.
3. He wanted that people know about soldiers' sacrifice because when soldiers die, people get sad for a minute only, he wanted them to know more about this.
               So they decide they will build a hospital and school in the village and give Sachin's name to it, also they will find out more stories of solider who sacrifice their life for country and make a TV show or something like that also they find out some poems written by Sachin they are scattered all in the house, Mrunal also remember that in his love letter he also make some, so they decided they will publish his poem, money is not problems, Mrunal start modeling from the age of 17 and become a superstar now she is 30. So she has lots of money while Shilpa saves all the money send by Sachin also she has some farm in the village so she decided to sell this.
                   Mrunal also remember when she is in her early twenties, she sees a couple, they have a three-month-old child, and that child is suffering from some disease she doesn't remember correctly but she remember that the treatment require lot of money and chances of survival are less, like somewhat 0.1% so the couple sell their house for that treatment, according to Mrunal this is stupidity, even chances are so less, isn't it better if they don't take treatment, it is not like she is cruel but the thing is that time she can't understand the feeling of losing someone you love in front of your eyes. If someone tells her to give all her hard own money for just a few minutes with Sachin she will happily give that, what about the money she will give her half-life for some minutes but that don't gonna happen but she decided she will do as much as she can for helping people.

This is the story about self-discovery, self-accepting, and self-improvement. After getting the chance to go back in time, she wanted to live happily and protect her loved ones. Today I have tailoring and alchemy. They both aren´t in my class, they´re in specially made buildings. 

I stepped inside the room of our tailor class and found it packed with half-finished clothing, fabrics, wool even silk. And between all this were around 17 woman and 2 guys. 

"Morning." I greeted them and they turned around to me, looking at me, almost staring. 
"Is something?" I asked. 

"Where did you bought your dress?" One of them asked. 

I wear a green dress with black lines on it, which seem to dance. 

"I made it myself." I said and got looks of envy and respect. 

Is it so good? I was bored and thought I shouldn´t wear my black or white dress every day. 

I searched for a chair and waited for the teacher, who came 15 minutes too late. 


"Sorry, I was delayed by a college, she told me a story about a girl with a really well made black dress." Said a little pudgy looking woman. 

She looked over the class and stopped her gaze over me. 

"You!" She said. 

"I?" I replied. 

"You match he description, and your dress looks like it was made by a master tailor. Do you own a black dress with a red pattern on it?" She asked. 

"I do." Me 

"Who made them?" She 

"I myself." Me 

"Really? Then you´re better than me." She said and squinted her eyes. 
"Well my name is Mrs. Tifany, your teacher in tailoring and we´re going to make some fine clothes this year. The theater class asked me to make some costumes for them and our goal is it to give them the best we can do." Mrs. Tifany 

Everyone nodded and Mrs. Tifany asked each one of us if we had knowledge about tailoring, 
it seems that all of us have at least a little bit and most of us were on LV 2. 
Mrs. Tifany is on LV 5 she said. 

She gave us some fabrics and we had to make something we want, she wants to see the extent of our skill. 


I asked her. 
"Mrs. Tofay? Is there a guild or something like this where I could sell inventions of new?" 

"There is but it´s hard to get a good price if you don´t have some connections. I know one of the higher-ups, you can show me your new thing and I´ll see if I can manage something." She said. 

"Then could you please come with me to a dressing cabin?" I asked. 

"You have it here? What kind of dress is it?" She asked and showed me the way. 

"It´s something for the breasts." I said and took a bra in her size out of the inventory. 

She looked at it and said. 

"This looks well made, how do you wear it?" 

"Please undress your top and I´ll show you." I said and she did. 

I helped her putting it on, without fondling, I´m not into a saggy and chubby woman. 

"How do you like it?" I asked. 

"It fits well but what does it do?" She 

"It stabilizes your breasts, it also stops the nipple from rubbing against the fabric. It can make them looking larger and brings them into form." I explained. 

"This is wonderful and they also look good, this is indeed a good invention." She 

"And I don´t think I should make it public without a patent," I said. 

"Yes, you could make a lot of money with it. I say you what, I´ll speak with my friend and we´ll arrange something. But I want some compensation." She said. 

"How much?" Me 

"Oh no money, I already saw that you're better than me, so I want you to teach me how to improve. You´ll never learn out and have to know when someone is better than you." She said and got some respect from me for that. 

"Okay, I can do that." I said and we shook hands. 

The rest of the lesson I explained her the manufacturing process of my bra. 


I ate and left for my next lesson, it´s alchemy in which I don´t know what I should expect. 
I was so so in chemistry and I don´t know if this alchemy here is the art of mixing potions or if it is the equivalent of science to my world. 

The teacher was a grumpy looking man named Mr. Loris who said that we won´t mix any potions unless we´ve read and memorized a whole book with more than 1000 pages all of them about plants. 

Seems like it is about potions.I would never to this in my old world but here it only took me a few minutes. 

I didn´t need much time for the whole buck but thought. 

I have to be careful, I heard that you can get insane with so much knowledge. But then when wasn´t I already insane? 


I walked up to Mr. Loris and asked. 

"Mr. Loris?" 

"Yeah? Your name´s Clair ain´t it? I´ve heard of you. Don´t say it, you want to make potions because you know all of the described plants in the book I gave you, am I right?" He said and I nodded. 

I think the teacher talk about their students, that could mean that this art teacher might come. 

"Good then here are some questions, for what do you use Hulweed, where does Galikaroot grow and what happens if you eat Curalipetals raw?" He asked. 

"Hulweed is used for sedatives and could paralyze in extremely high doses, it´s often used by field doctors because it´s relatively easy to find and easy to handle. You just have to ground it and smear it on the wound for an effect. 

Galikaroot grows in caves, it´s hard to get because it grows in the feces of the Galika monster which is ranked A on the monster ranking list. 

And you´ll die if you eat Curalipetals raw, it dissolves your stomach and you´ll die by internal bleeding's. But if you boil it beforehand it´s a good stomach medicine. " I said. 

"Yep you´re the Clair they talk about, good, then I´ll talk with the headmaster," He said. 

"Why? I only want to make potions." Me 

"Because you only start with potions in the second year, so I have to ask him if you could skip this year. He´ll probably summon you in the next week." He said and gave me 3 other books. 

"These are the books up to the fourth year, you normally learn them while you work on the plants from the year before but you´re a little different. 
I expect good results from you, the years with you here might become interesting. " He said and motioned me to go. 

I read them and were astonished by the vegetal knowledge of this world. There are thousands of plants for medical and alchemical usages. 


The day went on and I walked to the orphanage after my lessons. 

I was greeted by some children who brought me to Hira. 

"Hira, miss Clair is here. " They shouted. 

We went inside and I saw Hira with Alina sitting on a table, talking. 

"Hi, what´s the topic?" I greeted them. 

"Miss Clair nice to see you, I talked with Hira about the things we need to buy, let me thank you again for your generosity." Alina said and bowed deeply. 

"There´s no need for that. And what do you want to buy?" Me 

"We thought about hiring some carpenters, who can fix our roof and fence," Hira said. 

"You don´t have to, I can make that." Me 

"We couldn´t allow such a lady as you to make your hands dirty by repairing our roof." Alina. 

"I would use magic for that." Me 

"You could do such a thing? I heard that magic is mostly for specific usage." Alina asked. 

"I´m a little special, show me the broken parts and I´ll repair it or should we make a whole new building?" I asked. 

""A whole building?"" Alina and Hira 

"Why not? It would look better and doesn´t need as much renovation as this building." Me 

"Are you sure you can do that?" Alina asked worriedly. 

"I think, what do you like more wood or stone?" Me 

"Äh...ehm stone would be best. But let me first get all the things out, the children have to help." Alina said and we brought everything we could use outside. 


It took us not much time to get the things outside because I said that we´ll buy new furniture. They only took a lot of blankets and personal stuff out. Now we´re standing in front of the old building. And I began. 

I imagined a large house out of stone in my head, it should be three floors high, it has to have a basement for the food and other things, a giant room for eating on the ground floor, with a kitchen and a large bath. Then for the first floor a large living room, where they´ll have many toys and a working room. The two upper floors are for the children and staff. Ten rooms each floor, with enough space for two children in every room. And single rooms for the staff. 

This should be enough. 1 million mana, pretty much. 

I willed the building to vanish into nothingness and raised the new one out of the ground. It has no furniture, but we will buy it later. 

The ground quaked and the children as well as Hira and Alina were making large eyes. 
I turned around and said. 

"Now we´ll need furniture, please describe the things you´d like to have." 

But the children needed a few minutes to come over their shock. 

"You can go inside, I´ll be on the ground floor with Alina and Hira, the first floor will be a playground and the second and third floor is for you to life. There are no beds and other furniture, but I´ll make them later. Please choose a roommate and then come down to me." I said and pulled the still stunned Hira and Alina inside. 


"Th...this is... breathtaking," Alina said. 

And for normal people it would surely be, the walls were out off polished stone, the floor is made of dark brown wood, and everything looks extremely pretty. 

I began to produce the furniture, a giant table with chairs around it, tableware, and some other furniture. 
The next thing was the furniture for the first floor. I made a giant fluffy carpet and some toys out made of wood. Blocks and such things, a rocking horse and a small fort. Specific things like dolls will come later and will be handmade. 


The first children came to me and I started to make beds with real mattresses. They didn´t know them but were delighted when they lay down. Some closets and desks and I were finished. I was in Hiras room as a child came inside and said. 

"Miss Clair, there are guards who want to know what happened." 

So I went down and saw ten guards and a few onlookers. 

The guard noticed us and asked me politely, probably because I look like a noble. 

"Hello miss, we heard some noises and saw this building sprouting out of the ground, may we know how this happened the reason" 

"Sure, I am the new supporter of this orphanage and thought I should renovate it, so I used magic and build a new one." Me 

"You surely jest, miss, this is far beyond any magic," He said and gestured at the building. 

"Oh, I´m not lying, I can show it. I wanted to make a new fence and some stone statues." I said and waited for a reply. The guard deliberated with his comrades and finally said. 

"Very well, you may demonstrate your magic." 

I destroyed the old fence and a new 5-meter high fence out of stone rose from the ground, an entrance with a metal gate, with two lion statues made of stone in front of it was behind me. 

The onlookers and guards all had an open mouth. 

Is there a title for making people do this? 

"You see, nothing to worry," I said. 

"Yes indeed, it was magic... I´ll give you a warning, this district is dangerous and such a building will get attention from thieves. You should employ guards. Now then, have a nice day." The guard said and left. 

We went back inside and finished with the furniture. And I was suddenly hugged by Alina who began to cry. She remained in this position and finally said after she wet my dress. 

"Thank you, thank you, thank you, I thought I have to close this orphanage, which raised me and then you came and made all this wondrous things in just two days. Say is there anything I could help you with? I would do everything." 

"Hm, I plan to buy a slave I meet a few weeks ago when I do that could she live here for the time I need to buy us a house?" Me 

"A slave?" Hira said. 

"Ah yes, she is an elf and I met her in an inn. I healed her scars but forget that she now might be sold, so I thought I should buy her this weekend." Me 

"Off course she can, you´re really generous," Alina said. 

"Not really, I do most of the things I do on a whim." I replied, but they said that they do not agree with me in this case. 

"Hira, I´m sorry, but we have to begin your tailor lessons tomorrow, I need to enchant the statues, so that they´ll protect this place. " Me 

"You can even do that?" Hira. 

"Yes I did it with your old desk, I tried to enchant it with the maximum of enchantments I could muster. It worked well but now each demon who goes in your old house will die by laser attackers." I said nonchalantly. 

"What?" Hira asked, but I ignored her and walked to the lions. 


The enchantments were as followed. 

One for making them into golems, then strength, agility, durability boosts, resistance for physical and magical attacks, a friend-foe recognition, as well as an enchantment for an artificial intelligence that could discern between both. And last but not least an enchantment for extra mana capacity and enough mana to stay in use for a couple of hundred years(500 million). 

I finished my work, went back inside and said my goodbye. 


I went to my dorm, ate with Kira and Lina, who talked about their day and went to sleep. 


The next morning was normal, waking Kira and Lina, then breakfast, a quick shower, and school. 

Today are the last two lessons for this week and I´ll visit Ilza after teaching Hira. 
I have forging and monster theology today. 

Monster theology was first. 

The lesson started with our teacher who brought a stuffed wolf. 

He´s called Mr. Wafhunt an old man and he was a hunter who earned his money with hunting exotic animals, now he´s teaching his knowledge for the future generation. At least that´s what he said. 

We got a monster encyclopedia and our instructions are mostly theoretical, we also got more books. But we´ll go on an excursion after the school tournament. So we have to train. 

There´s nothing extraordinary to mention, I produced a little ruckus as I slept during his lesson and he tried to embarrass me with questions, which I could answer because I already knew the content of his book. This in return caused him to ask more questions until the lesson finished. 


I ate and went to my forging lesson. 

The forge was a giant hall with many furnaces and all of my fellow students are muscle packed men. 

I recently know why woman is so annoyed with the stares of men, they don´t stop. 
And because I speak from experience, I also know their thoughts. 
But I have the opinion that these stares are a kind of compliment so it wasn´t that hard, that and because I could kill all of them with a thought if they would try something. 

There was this guy who tried to touch my ass during lunch break, let´s say he won´t touch someone for a long time without thinking twice. 

But back to the topic, the teacher came and said I could leave as thin as I am but I "convinced" him by lifting an anvil with one hand. 

He then lectured us about ores but I didn´t listen as I already knew them. He noticed that and asked me why I was so absent and I replied that my dad´s a blacksmith and I am his apprentice. He asked me a few questions but stopped after the third one realizing that I speak the truth. 

He said that we´re allowed to use the forge whenever we want, but we have to bring our own ores and tools. 

We also got a book about forging while embedding mana into your sword. 
It says that it´s a technique for master blacksmiths and could produce with an extra enchantment a sentient sword. I´ll have to try it later, I need to try if I could make a sentient sword which can change its form. 

Well, that´s about forging. I went back to my room, left a note that I´ll be out for the weekend and visited Hira. 

She said that there were some thugs who tried to break in, but they were swiftly killed by my statutes. 
But they had to clean the mess. So I made another enchantment on them which allowed them to use simple water magic. Now they should be able to clean it on their own. 

I thought Hira simple stitching and sewing and left her a large pile of fabrics for practice. 
I also made dinner for all and it was greedily eaten. 

It was night and I changed into my Dex form with wings and started to fly to Ilza, hoping that she´s alright.....

I immediately took a picture of the suspects and contacted my sister trying not to lose sight of them all while remaining discreet, in my family everyone has to undergo military training at a very young age thanks to this today, I am one of the most famous high school detective in Japan with several investigations to my credit all over the world.

I start reading all the books, rather I flip through the pages at high speed and memorize all the content because I kept my eidetic memory of my previous life and the latter seems to have evolved during my crossing of the abyss because all the books or information remains in my memory more easily, it is as if I had a library in my head that stores all the information in books that I can consult when I want where I want.

I manage to proceed and analyze them more quickly but at a certain limit because my body is too young and weak to support too much information flow. I can also find defects in a technique, recipe or formula and repair or improve them if I have the required knowledge in my library.

And that seems not to be the case for all nobles a few months ago I had to accompany my father to participate in an event at the capital Heimdallr organized by the emperor because being the heir of the Baronet of the Schwarzers one day or another I have to make contact with the world of the nobles of the empire and not acting my age with my genius, my father decided that it would be a good experience to meet other children from other noble houses to expand my horizons.

While I'm walking around unintentionally, I bump into someone, a young boy with black hair to be exact.

"Are you all right?" I say to the young man, reaching out to him to help him get up.

"Thank you, I'm sorry I'm not looking where I was going."

"Don't worry, I wasn't paying attention either, I'm Yuno Schwarzer"

"My name is Rean Osborne, nice to meet you, Yuno"

"Rean, you're fine, who's your new friend," says a man coming in.

"Ha, Dad, this is Yuno Schwarzer, Yuno, this is my father."

"Pleased to meet you, Mr.Osborne," I politely say to him 

"Hohohoho, so you're Teo's son,"

"Did you know my father?" I ask

"You don't need to be so polite Yuno-kun your father and I were raised as brothers so you can call me Uncle Giliath"

"Understood, Uncle Giliath"

"Yuno, that's where you were, Giliath, it's been a long time."

"Indeed Teo, it's been a long time, boys, go play together we adults having to catch up, and be careful"

"Understood, let's go, Rean."

Chapter 10


Title: Invisible Power...

Looking at the Dagger and the new quest that he just got Alex just smiles coldly at this. His plans are moving along smoothly until now.

He takes the dagger in his hand and looks at it, and even though he doesn't have an appraise skill. He knows so much about these daggers that it isn't even needed. He then decides to put this dangerous dagger under his pants, to hide it.

He changed his race into a vampire too early in the game too early, he won't make the same mistake again. Though the Vampire Race is way better than human, especially for a Blood Mage, it will definitely multiply the strength of a Blood Type Class.

'But it will be very detrimental to become one so soon. Plus even if I become a Legendary Vampire, the sunlight won't kill me, but it will still massively impact me.' Thinks Alex while analysing his future plans, he knows dozens of ways on how to change his race to a Vampire, but only one will have the best benefits for Alex.


'Better not rush this then.'

And just like that, Alex gets some books on different subjects. He also got a skill that he absolutely wanted.

Seeing that skill on his game interface, made Alex smile. It is after all, one of the best meditation techniques. It also is easier to train, and instead of using the Mana in the air, it uses blood to raise its level and give the user a permanent mana increase.

After that, Alex goes and gathers a couple of books, putting them in a sack and taking them away, together with his new 400 Gold Coins.

After a while, he finally finishes all of his preparations. That is when he decides to go outside of the hidden base. He also sees that the sky is almost dark, and it is time to return.

He hears the entrance slowly close itself behind him by the bricks pulling themselves back together, returning the wall back to being just your normal everyday wall.

It took Alex thirty minutes to travel back to the mansion. During this a lot of different thoughts are running through his head. 'Killing isn't that hard once you get over the initial shock.'


He looks at an average looking middle aged man that was walking with a sack full of fruits on his back. 

'I could kill him without a second thought. But that doesn't give me any benefits so that will be useless. Only animals kill needlessly, and if you act like a mad dog… you will be put down like one.' Contemplates Alex, his mind going through dozens of scenarios that can play through. 


After all, unlike some 'homeless old man' dying, a civilian dying will inevitably be investigated. So no benefits and a lot of troubles… so obviously with no benefits involved he will never do something so stupid.


When the mansion guards see him, they say. "Kid, it is almost dinner time. We were about to send a search party after you."

Alex just scratches the back of his head and laughs nervously. "Hahahaha.. sorry about that. I was just excited at seeing a big city like this and forgot the time. It won't happen again."


The other guard just sighs at this. "Well we can't stop you from going out. The Magic Academy values exploration and a willingness to take chances. Talent is only secondary in that place, the people who die most in there are arrogant talented people…"

The guard is about to say some more, but his partner nudges him. 

"C'mon now, don't say stuff like that. He is just a kid." Says the other guard.


"Kids die in Magic Academy too. I am sick and tired of seeing kids die. The Headmistress is as cruel as they com-"
But before the guard could continue anymore saying anymore...

*pow*


He is punched in the stomach by his partner, and even though he wore steel armour. The armour is dented by his fist, as it moves at speeds that Alex can barely follow.

As the guard is knocked out. His partner turns towards Alex and says. "Sorry about that… it seems like he had too much to drink today. I will let you keep the Magic Academy badge for your stay in here if you forget about what my partner just said."

Alex just nods at this, not wanting to create trouble for himself or get into the guards bad side.


'Did I just see someone have a mental breakdown.' Thinks Alex, knowing how harsh the Magic Academy environment can be to good people.

'Hmmm… I wonder if he will be killed. After all, there is ZERO tolerance for speaking against the Headmistress.' Analyses Alex, as he tries to come to a straight conclusion on this thing. 'If his partner rats him out he will definitely 'have an accident'... well this is no trouble for me anyway, why should I care.'


Alex just shrugs at this and goes back towards the mansion. Tomorrow he will start searching for the future hero, that is currently in this city 




….



Tomorrow comes fast for Alex as he is sleeping on his bed, with different types of blood magic related books all around him. He has spent a lot of time learning theory behind blood magic by using the books.



He wakes up as some light shines into his eyes. After that, Alex just changes his clothes and puts his books back where they belong.  In a backpack filled with Blood Snakes.


He leaves it behind and a trigger for the snakes to simply self destruct, in case of an intruder into my room.



….


After that he goes outside and sees that today there are two different guards at the gates… and these one don't stop him.

'It seems like the previous guards both got killed. One because he said something that he shouldn't have and the other because he probably tried to cover up for his friend.' Thinks Alex as he analyses the facts. He doesn't have any opinion on the matter, after all, even though Magic Academy pays ten times others would pay for a job. It is still VERY dangerous to work as a staff for them. 

Alex knows that everyone knows that the Headmistress is a cruel woman, but NO ONE is supposed to loudly say that.


The new guards don't stop Alex at all as he walks out of the mansion. And as it is morning, not a lot of people are amongst the streets like during midday.

But Alex still goes towards the slums of the city, in there he tries to look for any child around… and he finds a group of children, they seem like normal children… but...



When Alex saw those children he noticed something strange. They seemed like the normal street kids that were seen around the game. You could usually get them to show you around the shadier parts of the city. Alex just looks at them again…  they are all wearing rags… normal for the child of the slums who hasn't been kidnapped  yet… but the rags are also clean. 

'Something is fishy in there, it was well known that even as a young girl she was a true hero and she used to free slaves. She was always someone kind… this could be connected to her.'  Thought Alex, as he stealthily started following the group of children.


His intelligence stat really made a real difference here. He knows that he never would have usually picked up a clue like that just by looking at rags like that.


'It's no wonder that players used to get wrecked and easily manipulated by those ancient wise and smart monsters at the Legendary Rank… truly scary stuff.' Even while Alex was contemplating this, he wasn't necessarily nervous even when he would meet those types of beings.


Even though this was a one life only game... Players also had the advantage of the Chat where they could write their findings and such. There were players who did this as a living by making MeTube videos. Alex used to watch a lot of those, they always had some hidden information that some player found or something.



Alex just stayed hidden in another alley keeping an eye on the kids and planning to follow them to the hideout. If he can get the Hero and influence her to come to his side that would be extremely beneficial to him.

He just acts like he doesn't see the kids and wanders around without any of them noticing him. But suddenly a notification came from the system. He opened it up and a template appeared in front of him..

Seeing that this was his second quest that Alex had gotten in this world he was overjoyed, after all Quests are the primary way to get a huge chunk of Experience. He remembers that back in his first world, there were the huge guilds managing the best Exp areas, so the normal players were left with only normal goblins, and other mobs that give low Experience. But thankfully he won't have that problem in this world.

After a while the kids finally decided to move away from this. Alex stealthily followed them, with his six year old body it would have been difficult to follow them since they are quite agile kids, but with his physical stats, which are about the same as your average adult, he can follow them quite easily.


He jumps above some crates and below some food stalls, he walks along the city, which has a lot of brick buildings and the streets are also clean, Gungai city has a reputation to keep up, it is one of the best cities on the Human Continent. Though the kids have used these alleys for a long time, Alex used to do a lot of businesses in this city, so he too felt like a fish in water as he easily kept up with the children.


But he makes sure he always stays twenty meters away from them, just so they don't notice him. He knows that they are kids and the oldest seems to be around ten but, he is also not going to get outsmarted by some kid just because of his arrogance. In this game he could name dozens of old monsters who act and transform into kids, just because they are immortal and have lived too long, so to quench their boredom, they have weird or eccentric hobbies.

Finally after some time he  followed them to the slums around the outskirts of the town. Then they all stop in a dark alley and enter the alley. The alley was covered in shadows, didn't have a lot of space and because of that it was dark, and almost no sunlight could get inside the darkened alley. As the kids went into the dark alley, Alex just spies on them from far away.


He narrows his eyes, trying to look at what is in the alley. But to his eyes, the kids just walk forward and disappear into the darkness…

Alex can't help but smile a little. 


'Well would you look at that…' Thinks Alex, a little amused by the situation in front of him.

As we can see here. The Headmistress of Magic Academy is one of the monsters that Alex is afraid of. She has influence and a spy network that even if someone bad mouths her at the other side of the continent… she will know…

"Yes, Fan Yu adopted a spider as his sister. The situation is slightly complicated. If you have time, do you mind coming over to Jiujiang's Children's Home?"

"Of course, is it okay if I arrive at 6 or 7 pm?"

"No problem. Thank you for your cooperation."

After hanging up the phone, Chen Ge thought back to the last sentence the worker said. "But what if that sister is not a human but a spider?"

Fan Yu was the Haunted House's first special visitor and a poor child. He had witnessed how his father killed his mother and how his aunt pushed his father into the well. Then he had lived for several years under the same roof as the killer.

The boy no longer has any family left on this world. No matter what, I should go take a look.

Chen Ge initially wanted to run out to the sun to spin the wheel, but thanks to the call from the Children's Home, his mood was lost. The lunch break soon ended. Chen Ge busied himself until 5:30 pm, but the number of visitors did not decrease. Chen Ge's team had to delay the closing time until almost 7 pm.

The sky was darkening. Chen Ge did not even have time to do his accounts. After Xu Wan left work, he rushed toward the Children's Home. This was the first time Chen Ge had visited Jiujiang's Children's Home. It was different from the dirty, cold, and unfeeling orphanages that he had seen on television. The decor of Jiujiang's Children's Home was very friendly, and it had its own courtyard that was filled with various flowers.

"Hey, what are you doing here? We do not allow outsiders!" The gentleman who guarded the door blocked Chen Ge.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Chen Ge, Fan Yu's family. This afternoon, a member of staff here called me."

"Fan Yu's family‽" The old gentleman studied Chen Ge, and his attitude changed instantly. "Please wait here for a moment. I'll go ask. Be back in a minute."

The gentleman did not use his phone but ran into the courtyard to yell up the stairs. Not long after that, a woman who looked about Chen Ge's age came out from the building. She was wearing a nurse's outfit, and she gave off a friendly feeling.

"Mr. Chen, you're finally here." The nurse signaled for Chen Ge to follow her. "Let me introduce myself first. I'm Fan Yu's mother; you can call me Xiao Liu."

"You're his mother?"

"Yes, we have adopted many abandoned children and babies here. To make them feel the warmth of home, we normally allow them to call us mother and father. Of course, it's not forced, but most of the children here like it." The nurse was a friendly character, but she was shy. She did not even dare look at Chen Ge's eyes when she was talking to him.

"That's wonderful. I admire that."

Jiujiang's Children's Home was like a big family. It was completely different from what Chen Ge thought an orphanage would be like. The nurse flashed a sunny smile. She was about to say something when the window on the other side of the courtyard flew open, and a middle-aged man who held a tray of tea cups in his hands yelled at the nurse, "Xiao Liu, you're running off again? Get back to your post! Keep an eye on Jiang Ling and Fan Yu! They're getting worse!"


The man's voice sounded angry, but Xiao Liu was not afraid. Instead, she was embarrassed. "Yes, I understand."

The nurse led Chen Ge into the building. The wall was pasted with cute decorations, and the corridor was very clean.

"Who was that? The president?" Chen Ge asked.

"That was Doctor Chen. He can be quite grumpy, but he's a good man. He used to work at a large clinic, but after that, he came to serve here."

"Doctor Chen? There's a specialist attached to the children's home?"

"Yes, we have doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and teachers. Each of us is responsible for different jobs, but we're all these children's fathers and mothers." Chen Ge nodded. Compared to the orphanage that Mu Yang High School's headmaster had built privately, this place was much more official. When they walked down a corridor, one of the doors was suddenly pushed open, and two kids ran out holding a toy between them.

"Jiang Jin, Jiang He! Stop making noise in the corridor—it's past 8 pm already. Get back to your room!" the nurse scolded, and the boys went back to their room unwillingly. Before the door closed, Chen Ge glanced into it. There were two bedrooms and one living rooms, and it housed six children.

"You have quite a good place here. The children have new toys and new clothes." Chen Ge looked at the painted cards on the door. They were written with the children's names. "This is weird. Why do the names of all the children here start with Jiang?"

"They're Jiujiang's children, so we used Jiujiang as inspiration for their surname." The nurse explained and smiled with embarrassment. "Of course, some of the children arrive with a name, so we wouldn't force them to change."

The nurse led Chen Ge to the first room on the left on the third floor. She walked in without knocking.

"President, Chen Ge is here."

There was an old man in his sixties watering the plants by the windowsill. He was wearing a pair of spectacles and looked like a retired teacher.

"You're finally here, please take a seat." The man looked at Chen Ge like he was their savior. This confused Chen Ge even more.

"Sir, what is the problem? Did our Fan Yu create some problem at the Children's Home?" Chen Ge felt like he was attending a parent-teacher's conference for Fan Yu. He was asked to stay until the end because the teacher wanted to have a private chat with him about Fan Yu.

"I'll be frank." The old president gave the nurse a look. As if afraid that they might be overhead, he had her close the door. "You're the guardian assigned to Fan Yu, so you should know about his condition better than us. The boy is not a social person… how shall I put this? He has no knowledge of concepts like family, groups, or happiness. We tried our best to help him, but the effect has been lacking."

Chen Ge knew Fan Yu better than most, so he understood the trouble the Children's Home was facing. "I'm so sorry for creating all this trouble."

The president shrugged. "That's fine. We've seen children who were more introverted. The main problem is that, not only are we unable to fix his problem, he has also managed to influence our other children who are facing recovery."

"What do you mean?" Chen Ge understood why that Doctor Chen was so angry when he saw Xiao Liu.

"It's a sad truth that many children who have faced trauma or been abandoned by their family will have some psychological problems that need counselling." The president smiled sadly. "Fan Yu is a good example, but this boy keeps arguing with the doctor. He not only refuses to accept his treatment but keeps saying weird things to the other children. Some of the children's conditions have worsened after interacting with him. With no other choice, we had to send those children away."

She already knew the sight but it amazed her so when she heard excited gasps from others she realized that she did the same.
There was a knee-deep river that came down from the top of the hill. On the flat ground from one side was a forest and from the other side was a meadow filled with various flowers and bushes. Looking downhill they could see the forest and other hills as well. Unfortunately, this place is many days' walk away from the seaside and many hills were between. But it was still an amazing sight.
She planned to make settlement from one side and fields from the other. But looking at the hard ground she realized that it won't be that easy.
''We could just cut the grasses and clear just enough for everyone to have a simple garden for now. rest we can clear next year. But first, let's prepare camp. Everyone get ready. Children, you are all free. You can go check the forest and the meadow. Take books with you. You might find some berries that we could eat. We would then transplant them later on. Check for healing plants as well. We better think about our health as well.'' Older children choose to go down to the lake and fish while smaller kids choose to take books and search trough the meadows for something useful.
Only grown-up stood in front of her and she counted 57 people including herself and sighed. ''This year we have enough to eat. But we do not know how will weather change. What season is it now? First, we will make camp and then in that corner... ''She pointed the place that was above the water level. '' ...we can make the wooden cottages. We will use the trees around but I plan to replant the trees as we might need them again in the future. I need ten people that will go to the forest and check if some trees are dry and mark them. We will use dry trees as our heating. I saw that the river has nice stones. we could use them to make fireplaces. So many things. So any volunteers?'' She saw half of the people raising their hands so she let them all go. 
She gave them one more task to bring as much dry wood as they could. They will need fire anyway. After they were gone, the rest of thems tarted preparing the tents. They put up all the tents they had. Luckily all of them took her recommendation to heart and bought old camping gears. 
That was strange tho. she really didn't think they would listen to her words. But this way is good. One older man was smiling at her mother and she got sunned. Wait, mom, flirty? But that was fine. It's better than being alone, like herself. 
One of the men tried to explain something he read in a book and everyone listened carefully.
''We have enough people. We can build houses by need. First for children, then for everyone else. We can use strong threes to cut their sides straight from three sides and the last side could be natural isolation. We can try first that way and later on we can make clay houses.''
One woman smiled. ''On our way here I saw clay near the sea. We can make bricks and build houses next year. Or with time. The wooden houses are not bad deals. What about making first a fireplace and then the house. Let's just try building one house and then more. Without trying, it will be quite hard.''
Everyone had ideas. And everyone brought some manuals and books. So what they did was to sit and compare the best way. When the gorp of people came back with a bunch of dry wood, they could hear clamor and laughter.
''No. First houses should be simple, why complicating it so much. By the way, you all do know there is no glass in this world. So do not think too much about making s many windows. you will just make your house lose precious heat.'' Sandra laughed when one man explained what kind of house he wanted.
''But sitting by the window and looking how the white snow falls...'' He tried to explain his dream but it was ruthlessly killed by her.
''You will wish that the whiteness passes as soon as possible. The winters last for others and all you can do is sit inside and wish not to kill you.'' She then saw the people coming back and smiled.
''Welcome back. Found many dead trees?'' She saw them bringing a bunch of dry branches and two men even pulled one long log behind them.
''Yes. But isn't it easier to just cut the woods here?'' One man showed nearby trees.
''We need these for house building. After that children will replant again the trees. I want you to clear as many dead trees as they are extremely dry. If there is storm and it hits dry trees we could be caught in mid of huge forest fire. To prevent that we need to clean as many dry trees as we can. That is one reason. The other is the fresh trees give bunch of smoke but no real heat. I read it here. She opened one of the manuals about surviving that had almost all pages completely yellow and green as it was in some corner rotting.''
They read it inside and were quite stunned. ''Oh, does that mean its better for us to use dead branches? What about houses. Fresh trees or dry ones?''
''Those pages are all unrecognizable I am not sure. But I think it's better than fresh ones. Next year we can start making clay bricks. Or this year we can try at least. But for this winter we need to be ready. I have no time what date it is. But, it is better if we hurry. We have enough food supplies for winter. We can plant some spring plants on time so we can have some fresh vegetables. And when we are done with making houses and clearing some garden space, I will give you bows and arrows and some of you can go hunt and another half can search for wild vegetables that we can dry. I will check with kids for wild herbs and healing plants. If nothing else we can drink some nice tea and enjoy wintertime like that. there is no more automated living space. You all came because you knew this.'' She could see the mood going down and smiled.
''I saw in one of your books something else that made me interested. If some of you like it, you can make tree houses or even a whole tree village. The trees in here seem to be strong. Making such a thing would be interesting for all of us, right?''
Everyone became excited again. ''What about storms?''
She thought about it and smiled. ''We can use the houses in this corner as winter houses and those on trees as summer houses. Like that we will have nice air in summer and no bug bites and in winter we could be safe and sound by earth and enjoy the heat of the fireplace.'' 
They all suddenly had many ideas that made her laugh. ''I know you all have amazing ideas. Let's do it this way. We finish as planned winter houses and straight after that made summer houses. We can cut some trees over there in the other forest and leave our trees standing as our protection. Then we can bring trees and dry wood here and prepare everything at the same time. It will be hard, can you all do it?''
Everyone cheered in agreement and they separated jobs. Part of men and females went first to try to cut some trees while rest started clearing the place where they will build up the houses. Soon cheers could be heard from the hills and soon first logs could be seen as they were pulled back. 
Strangely, everyone had understood the way the cottages were made so soon a big one-room cottage was made. Then second then third. Not small ones... Big ones. 
They had enough people and with all those ideas they just stated making houses like crazy. 
To transfer logs they used smaller logs that they put on their path and rolled over it. 
Of course, they saw it from the books about old Egyptian people. So dozen people cut trees, dozen people clean the trees from branches and cut them in a sizable manner and rest of people ( including Sandra) brought the log after log near the place. After they saw a mountain of the logs they started making houses by the manuals.
Of course, there would be arguments, broken fingers, cuts and loud laughter after all. By evening all the children came back and explained what they found.
''Miss, we found wild potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, strawberries and mushrooms, so many of them.'' The children that went to the forest explained. 
She sighed. Her memory was so bad that she forgot their names as soon as they got out of her eyes. She could remember unrelated things, but names...
But she had time. These people and children will stay around here for a long time. She will learn their names after living with them for a while, right?
''Good job. If there's a lot of potatoes, we will harvest it when the leaves start to whiter. Tomorrow go and mark places where you found potatoes. Next year we can plant it. Same with everything else. By the way. You can gather fruits and bring them here. We can eat some and dry some for wintertime. Just enjoy. This year you can play as much as you want. With the caution of course. About mushrooms. If you are sure that they are edible bring them. If you are not completely sure, don't pick them up. With time we will learn about them as well.''
 They should just enjoy a nice time while they can.

This world is on the verge of destruction. Wars, sicknesses, elemental catastrophes, everything was polluted so much that companies started seeling clean air and purified water. Starvations.
But Sandra by chance found a connection to the parallel universe and choose to take all her family and friends with her.
