Salgab Forest is a home of many savage beasts, each and every one of these beasts possess a massive amount of strength that can slaughter a group of ordinary knights. But even they are dangerous humans still try their best to fight these beasts, by doing so they can help their own races survive and obtain strength. Aside from that, there are also the carcasses of the beast, each carcass is a treasure because a blacksmith can forge an equipment that they can use to fight the stronger beast.

Sirius and Ken are on their guards, their backs are facing each other. They don't want some beast to sneak on them that is why, but they are still making their progress in the middle of the forest. On their way, they saw a lot of beasts but they didn't fight the beasts, the reason is simple that is they don't want to attract other beasts. There is also the reason that fighting will create a loud sound and if they fight the blood will attract stronger beast, they want to avoid that all cost. The two will only hunt weaker savage beasts for their foods, but even by doing that they are still careful to no create a loud sound and they still watch their surrounding.

Sirius and Ken were training together for almost 4 years, and they both know each other's characteristics. Ken is always careful and does things carefully by exerting all of his efforts, that is also the reason why he keeps looking around to see whether they are being followed by some beast. Sirius is always curious, he wants to learn the things he doesn't know if he can't do it he will ask for help. That is also the reason why Sirius improve leaps and bounds and beat Ken which is natural for Sirius. 

"Ken, watch out for the surrounding I'm gonna cook food," Sirius said.

"Okay!" Ken quickly replied.

Ken knew that Sirius decided to let him watch the surrounding to train his sense, Ken already knew that Sirius can sense the nearby surrounding but he still can't. He felt grateful because even though Sirius is already far stronger than him Sirius still didn't underestimate him. Children on their age tend to be arrogant and they think that they are the best in the world, one and only the world's best magician. But Sirius is different even though he himself is strong he didn't underestimate anyone, including the one he already beat. 

"The food is ready," Sirius said.

Sirius interrupted Ken's thought, Ken looks at Sirius and smiled as he was thinking that he was so much inferior to the boy in front of him. 

"Okay," Ken replied. "By the way, how can you so experience about Salgab Forest?" Ken asked he was so surprised that Sirius know a lot, and he knows which plants are edible or poisonous.

"I read a lot of books and of course I also read books about Salgab Forest," Sirius replied without any trace of lies.

"You read books? As far as I know, there are no children who have a spirit to read a book." Ken replied with a surprised voice.

"It's pretty interesting though, you can have knowledge which that can help you if you read books. For example, you can know about magic, swords, or any other things."

Ken was surprised by what he heard, he didn't expect that a book contains a lot of information. Of course, Ken didn't know it because children on his age don't have any interest in books, they thought books are boring and didn't even bother looking at it. Only Sirius who has a system personality can have that courage to read a lot of books. As a system, Sirius always thirst for knowledge he didn't know, that's why Sirius face always has a curiosity paste on it.

In Sheperd Mansion, Steven was sitting in his office while looking at the person sitting in front of him. "Why are you here? You should be watching the two of them so no danger may come to them." Steven said with coldness in his voice.

The person in front of him was Rudolf the head of WinderForg mansion and the one who suggested Ken and Sirius venture out in Salgab Forest. Rudolf just smiled at Steven when he heard his question.

"You underestimate them too much, especially your son," Rudolf said.

Steven was surprised by what Rudolf said, he knew that Rudolf's son is strong especially in Ken's swordsmanship, Ken was Rudolf's heir so Ken should be pretty powerful, but he didn't expect that Rudolf will compliment Sirius. 

"What do you mean by that?" Steven asked with a confused look.

"Your son is more powerful than you think, his magic is powerful enough to make others jealous of it, but it is also the same for his swordsmanship," Rudolf said with a teasing look. "He already beat my son and his improving rapidly. I advise you that you should send your son to the academy and start learning there. In there he will meet other children who are as strong as him or stronger than him." He added.

"That idea is a good idea, but what will he think about it?" He asked, "And you still didn't answer my question.!" Steven said coldly.

"I send someone to watch them for a bit while I go here." Rudolf smiled with smiled.

While Rudolf and Steven are talking to each other, Sirius and Ken are now eating the meat Sirius' grilled. Suddenly Sirius face change.

"Run!" Sirius said with an ugly look on his face.

Ken was wondering why Sirius suddenly shouted run, but he still follows. A loud roar came from the place they were saying and Ken's look becomes grim. Sirius and Ken were running because there is a horde of the beast coming in their direction, the two of them knew they can't stop it. So they run to the kingdom's direction to report it to their father.

With the arrival of Zwei and his men at Waise village, Kazuya and Julia spent their time at the Valentine residence until the skies have already gone dark. Apparently, the duke Eberbach's men had set up camp near the village so the healers they brought with them would be able to do for their injured comrade what Gale wasn't able to with her current prowess.
To Kazuya, it really didn't matter much as he was both satisfied and currently occupied with the discovery that shocked him today. It had taken them a few hours of work, but they were finally able to categorize the books with the help of the innocent children who usually stayed at the house.
"Kazu onii-chan, I helped the most!"
"No! I carried more books!"
"Wasn't it me that helped more Kazu-nii?"
The children gathered themselves around Kazuya who had promised to reward them with his personal cooking tonight. The kids grew relatively attached to Kazuya in the past few days because not only did he seem to be sought out a lot by Gain and their big sister Gale, he had also let them taste food that was not only delicious, but tickled their interests visually.
"I want a bunny dumpling!"
"I want one that looks like a boat!"
"C-can I have a flower?"
"Hey! Don't bother Kazu-san too much. He's already making you guys dinner so everyone should be satisfied with that!" Gale stepped in and tried to stop them from bothering Kazuya too much. She was worried that the children would annoy him.
She had been more cautious about how she acted in front of Kazuya ever since she learned of her father's suspicions. She only thought that he would have been a noble at best but who would have thought that he could actually be the hero that their whole kingdom had been anticipating.
There were only a few exceptions, but in Edea, the stories of the summoned heroes were heard at least once by children as they were growing up. She didn't want the kids to offend him since Kazuya was not like any hero she had heard of. He seemed to have held resentments over the people who summoned him to their world.
"It's alright, Gale-san. I've intruded at your home so making a simple meal is the least I could do. These kids have been helpful and I'm happy to grant their requests." He smiled at the children and crafted their requests."
"Yay! Kazu-nii-san is the best!"
"Whoooaa! A bunny!"
"You should just stay here with us onii-san! That way we can eat delicious things every day!"
"Hehe. Though I really don't hate that thought. Unfortunately, I have a lot of things to do before I can consider staying in one place." He wiped his hands and patted their heads.

Seeing that there were no problems, Gale backed down and sat across Julia. Their help had been rejected as Kazuya had wanted the kids to help him make the food instead so they were left with the books that were taken from the basement.
"Is there something you need?" Julia noticed the hesitating look that Gale had been giving her.
"Does Kazu-san usually interact with a lot of children?" She curiously asked. He looked to have been used to dealing with kids that it would have been unusual if he had never had experience with them before.
"I… have no idea. This is the first time I've seen him interacting with them." She was a little surprised by the question and hesitated.
Thinking about it, she knew nothing about this person's personal life. From how she got to know him, it was too shocking for him to be seen kindly treating children to the point of spoiling them. Julia had never seen Kazuya in a positive light when it came to his personality because of what happened between them but, after suddenly being asked about him, she had a realization.
"(We know nothing about each other…)" Julia pondered.
She had no idea what made Kazuya do the things he did after he arrived in Edea nor why Julia had risked herself to be put in this state for the princess. The order of their relationship had been an absolute mess. Her absolute obedience came before knowing the person she was now serving.
"Where do you plan to go after leaving the village?" Gale asked yet another question which Julia wanted to know herself.
"No idea. Probably back to the capital. It would be faster to get there if we cut through the forest, but I don't know what he plans on doing. Our trip wasn't supposed to have lasted a day yet, due to the circumstances we are here now."
"Did you two have a fight? It has been a little awkward between the two of you from my point of view…" Gale wanted to help the two in some way since it wasn't just her that noticed this. A few adventurer parties have intensified their efforts to recruit her.
"A fight? No. I don't think we are close enough to even have one of those. What I am is just someone he needs to give orders to." She emotionlessly spoke. Though she admits that Kazuya was not wrong when he said that Julia hadn't been treated like her current status, one will still find a bitter pill, bitter and hard to swallow.
"That…" Gale flinched. She didn't think that Julia would frankly admit it.
"You don't have to worry about me." Julia faintly smiled towards Gale. She found this girl to be quite likable even though she was a commoner. Unlike the uncouth people she had met, this girl was very mindful of others which satisfied Julia.
"I think that the two of you will eventually be able to work it out. My grandfather always said that as long as is not fatal, time will heal most wounds." She encouraged.
"Time heals wounds huh…" Julia murmured. "Thanks… I guess." Though she didn't hate this girl, there was no reason to dislike her. with her current situation, she was even lower than commoners after all.
The two girls watched the harmonious interactions between Kazuya and the children. After what she had experienced in the past few days, Julia thought that this just might be the hero's most natural state. Thinking about it, she was probably the person who has spent the most time with him ever since his arrival.
"I'm back!" Gain triumphantly declared as he entered the house. "Huh?"
He wanted to brag about completing his mission of not letting Zwei and his men know that Kazuya and Julia were still in the village but after seeing the books scattered around the house, he could only turn to look at his daughter for an explanation.
"Oh! Welcome back Gain-san. Dinner would be ready soon so please wash up. We can talk about what happened with the soldiers later." Kazuya sent the children to drag Gain to wash himself as he finished up with the cooking.
Though Gain was the head of the village, other than having a larger than normal residence to accommodate the orphans, he relatively lived like all the other villagers. There wasn't anything extravagant as they had lived humbly so everything was relatively normal.
Nobles like Julia might not think much about it but to Kazuya, he had respected this humble village leader. To him, most of the nobles lording over their territories were trash compared to the simple man in front of him.
He lived humbly despite being in charge of the village and even gave out his own earnings to take care of abandoned children. He chose to give back instead to keep for the better of everyone. These were the kinds of humans that were, even on earth, looked down upon and preyed on. Which was sad.
"Can someone tell me what's going on?" Gain came back with the children and sat down as soon as everyone had finished setting up the table.
"Well…" Gale glanced over at Kazuya who was currently serving the children with their requested dumplings. "Kazu-san can apparently read the books…"
"Oh, so that's— wait what did you just say!? He can read these books!?"
 "I can. That is why I have a proposal I want to talk to you about, Gain-san." Kazuya confirmed it as he sat down to join them.
"A proposal? Do you want to buy these books?"
"If you want to sell them I'll be honest and say that I can't afford to pay for them right now but, I was thinking more like renting them out." He said with a smile.
"Rent?" Gain grew confused. He turned to look at his daughter for answers but from the way she was tilting her head, he noticed that she was probably as confused as he was.
"I categorized the books depending on what they are about and I thought about something…" Kazuya glanced at the kids. "What about letting these children learn about many things that would help them as they grow older?"
"What do you mean?" Gain didn't know what he meant.
"The village is currently serving as a host to various adventurers, right? The way I see it, many adventurers help around town while some of the current members were former adventurers themselves. Why not let these experienced people help the children out by having them teach them various skills that they could use when they grow up?" Kazuya started discussing what he had in mind.
There were currently 17 orphans in Gale and Gain's care. Seven of them were already close to the age where they would be able to care for themselves while the rest were still growing up.
Kazuya suggested that with the mutual relationship between the villagers and adventurers he was able to witness these past few days, asking them to teach the children when the orphanage was completed was not a farfetched idea.
Of the orphans that were currently in their care, he was familiar with the youngest ones from his previous experience in Edea. With what happened to Gain, it wasn't too hard to guess what had happened. Those who had been capable to help Gain support the duke had gone with him while Gale had been left in charge of the orphanage.
Now that Kazuya had taken out the fuse that started the tragedy that was supposed to happen, he wanted to help the children who were once a victim of the blind trust he had given people. With what he had in mind; they would be able to protect themselves in the future.
"The situation would be able to last a little while with the current people staying here regularly. Once these adventurers move on, if the same deal can't be made with the future adventurers, you can hire them instead."
"Hire?" Gain frowned. Though he liked the idea that Kazuya presented to him, he did not have much to be able to hire adventurers with.
"No need to worry about the money. Like I've said. I am very much interested in renting the books out. I'll work on translating them once I return to the capital so it might take some time, but I will give 300 gold as a deposit and give an additional 200 gold once I return them." Kazuya suggested.
""!!!"" the father and daughter looked at each other at the same time. A 300 gold deposit to rent a few books and an additional 200 after he returns it!? They would have been satisfied to sell a book for 1 gold or so a piece and the books that were taken out of the basement didn't even exceed 50.
"Also, I will be giving you a copy of the translated books that would be good for the children to learn. I just hope that you will keep these books to yourselves because it is both a gift and a curse." Kazuya gave them a serious look.
What he had taken out were essentially skill and spell books that were supposedly from the lost kingdom of Bathara. This was the kingdom that had fallen and had been replaced by the Heilig Kingdom. This kingdom was where the headquarters of the church of light was and the country was governed by church officials or devout believers.  
Though Kazuya hadn't studied much of Edea's history, he was sure that the shady church had played a big part in the lost kingdom's fall from grace. The fact that the Batharan skills and spells he found were shamelessly renamed as their church's was enough to make him think that something was definitely fishy.
"With these skills, the children would be able to protect themselves and the village from danger as well as earn a living for themselves if they choose to pursue a future outside the village." Kazuya smiled as he patted the children who had been oblivious to the topic while enjoying their meals.
Gain was overwhelmed by Kazuya's offer. He wasn't the only one as Gain also noticed the shock that Julia had tried to hide. This was an offer that was more than generous so he couldn't understand what Kazuya had to gain from all of this. Even more, he was even willing to share his discoveries with them.
"(Why…? Is he…)" Gain suddenly came up with a thought. "(Could it be…?)" he secretly glanced at his daughter.
"(Did he fall for my little girl?)"

Enter Kazuya, a boy who never had any memories before his adolescent life. He was summoned to the world of Edea wherein the final battle against the Demon King, our hero entered the last room to find a welcome he had not been expecting. An unguarded, unarmed demon king who greeted him with manners and etiquette.

As if a respectful and well mannered final boss wasn't shocking enough, he was then introduced into an elaborate plot to exploit summoned heroes. Unfortunately, our naive hero chose to trust his companions. He underestimated human greed which led him to suffer alone in darkness for a time he himself does not know how long. 

When he suddenly woke up, he saw himself as a child back on Earth. As an amnesiac, he had been thrown into an unknown part of his life. What should he do? What about the people who betrayed him?

"Are we there yet, Daddy?" the children asked as we had entered the meditative state and entered the vortex. When I opened up my eyes, Ceres had helped to reset back the realm and send us to the White Room instead.

"We are here, my children. Open up your eyes slightly, yes? This is called the White Room, it's nothing but plain white and with some shelves with books and two machines here where Mummy would do her printing and a Gutenberg machine. There's of course, a dispensing tun that had hot tea that never expires or go stale... "

I announced the arrivals and the children slowly squinted as they open their eyes which they had covered with their dainty little hands for good measure...!

"Yay...! Yay...! Yay...! This is wonderful Daddy...! You have so many books here... Can we touch it, Daddy?" Amy and Jay-R were really ecstatic when they finally uncovered their eyes and the first thing they saw was the piles of books that had been set aside in the table where the dispensing tun was. It had been run once in the Gutenberg machine and brought back to the real world.

"Ceres, time us for one hour over here in the realm. We won't want the senior members of the board to watch over us and got bored of its too long."

I called out to the guidance system and then a female voice boomed across the room which surprised the children since they knew there's 4 of us in the realm right now. 

They searched behind the bookcase, under the tables, for the voice and it seemed that our children had once again turned to, of course, normal children, that would be filled with curiosity.

"Where did the voice come from, Daddy? Is that the guidance system you had been telling us earlier? How come the guidance system doesn't show itself up?"

 Amy asked as Jay-R went up to Heather where she showed our son the books she had copied and the books that they could pick and read. I saw my son picked a book and then plopped himself on the sofa as he turned the book page by page as Heather reads to him.

"I don't know where the voice comes from, Amy. This realm is in the recess of my mind so what you see here is what I had experienced, touched and tasted before. I never wondered how my guidance system would look like but I'm sure it would make Mummy jealous if my guidance system  showed up as a lady."

I explained to Amy in a hushed voice and Heather somehow caught wind of it and she simply called out, "It's better you don't show yourself, Ceres. It would disrupt Audemars train of thoughts later on...!"

I knew it was a joke and a warning at the same time and I laughed when I heard that. "What would you like to do, Amy? These set of books here are adult books."

"I mean books that filled with in-depth information for us to digest not the other way when I mentioned 'Adult Books'. Here in this huge row of books, are the ones that Mummy had asked Daddy to visualise based on what my former self, I mean, what I had read before."

I won't divulge any information about my former self since I do not have complete information and just certain flurry of images and bits and pieces of everything all clumped together.

Amy went over to the sofa and sat there together with her twin brother as Heather reads to them a nursery rhymes book that was supposed doesn't even exist in our real world. The books were hardcover and it was large enough with all the colourful images and large words and was easy for them to read and sing along.

After finishing the nursery rhymes book, the children clapped their hands at the end of it and they all rushed to the long bookcase as they picked another two more. This time it is their turn to read them out.

My children, who had some education to recognise words and numbers back in the daycare, now was able to read simple words, no... Actually, read words that a normal 5 years old would learn in their mandatory education system back in school.

Once those children back in daycare had their early childhood education, they would be placed into classrooms where they would learn 4 subjects based on the mandatory education system — English, Math, Science and Social Studies.

Right now, my own children had begun their accelerated learning all by themselves and jumped from nursery rhymes right to those Science and Social Studies books that were aplenty in the bookcase.

The social studies books consist of history, geography, ecology and simple economics. These books were not meant for them yet and as they read the first history books, they learnt about how our lands and our neighbours evolved and existed. 

They were even surprised about how mankind evolved from the earliest mankind right to the present and also to the future. Oops... They should have flipped the pages to the future since it doesn't even exist yet...!

Not only they realised about the history of England but also about certain events that happened in the present times, which includes the Hundred Years War. 

"Daddy, how come it's called the Hundred Years War since it is already past a hundred?" Jay-R pointed out to me and I simply shrugged and went over to find out more information about it. 

I too was stumped since I'm not even ready to answer such meticulous questions by a less than a 2-year-old child...! 

"I don't know Jay-R, but these books had been written a long time ago and some of the contents are too indescribable for me to explain."

"You see, this history books even mentioned about certain events they had not happened yet in our time...!"

I tried to give the most sensible answer and I knew I'm utterly defeated. My sense of history ended the exact time when I had escaped and being banished once my very hometown was being besieged.

Now I am rewriting my own history with my own family and the others who revolves around me.

Amy was holding on to an ecology book and even though it looked rather thin and simple the contents were beyond me to answer.

"Daddy, what is a food chain and why are we at the very top and another one that shows the animal kingdom and some animals they even looked like Sir Blackie here?" 

Amy showed me some diagram and I saw humans at the top of the triangle and follows by other wood animals that we used to game hunt, right down to fishes and vegetables and lastly the seeds. 

I explained about humans surviving on these for our sustenance and pointed out to the seeds which were formed at last of the triangle food chain and explained that without seeds, we won't have crops and also these game animals. Without these, we won't be able to have other bigger animals such as wild boars, deers and other animals they don't exist in our lands. 

After explaining to them, they somewhat understand what I am trying to relate. Soon, the one-hour time limit had ended and the children displayed their dismay as they returned the books back to the bookcases. 

"Could we come here regularly, Daddy? You have so many books to read and to learn from and I am sure it would benefit both of us. We wanted to learn as much as we can so that we could help you and Mummy out." 

Amy's words brought comfort to us when we heard from her as Jay-R was nodding his head at the sides. It seems that they are treating this part of the realm like a university of knowledge and would like to be here and spending time with us. Since its 3 hours here in the realm would only use up 1 hour back in the real world, it would be best to enter the realm when we got back home. 

"At least we can go to this realm when we are back home, safe and sound right? We won't want the senior members of the board and the elders to worry about us whenever we enter the realm away from home."

"Besides, if we are in the domain, we might get visited by the seniors and elders so it's good to have our own private home to enter the realm." 

"Well, time is up now. Once we are safely back home, we can spend more time here they only cost a fraction of our time back in the real world."

After saying that the children were once again showing their true self as they jumped and cheered when they heard the great news. Now, once we are back to the real world, we would take our rest and then we would be making a journey upriver on our Dragon Boat to scout for those meat grinder orcs and find out how close they are to the temporary encampment and also 50 miles out from our town. 

We gathered around and sat on the floor as we soon meditated off our subconscious mind and told the children exactly what they need to do as they relaxed and controlled their breathing.

"How did it go, Your Majesty? Is everything fine back in the realm?" Eagle greeted me when I opened up my eyes and found they everyone had regained back their senses and was feeling excited after successfully entering my realm. 

"Everything is fine, Eagle. The children took some books off the shelves and started to ask me about history that had not even ended yet and things that doesn't even exist here in this world too." 

"Fortunately, the children were not attracted to the printing machines and the Gutenberg machine or else they would be twiddling with them longer than usual."

"It's good that they had passed the 1-hour mark in the realm. But this is not the place to enter the realm with the children and we would be heading back to the realm once we are safely back at our own home."

I explained to Eagle as he agreed to what I had mentioned. The children were excitedly chatting among themselves as they both sat near the hearth and tried to warm themselves as they picked some wood and fed into the fireplace. 

Heather was there by the hearth and joined them as she soon swamped and drowned by the ideas that the children had shared with her. They wanted to bring back a whole lot of books from the realm back to the real world. Heather explained that it is impossible since the books that don't exist in this world would simply disintegrate and all the efforts would come to nought. 

I signalled for Heather to let the children rest early since there's little darkness left as its already approaching daybreak in a few more hours. 

"Time to sleep, guys. We got work to do tomorrow, remember?" Heather highlighted to the children and they reached out their arms and wanted to be carried off to the goods wagon where bedding was set for them each, prepared by Gwen and Crystal. 

Heather bundled Jay-R in her arms while I excused myself and carried of Amy to the goods wagon where Sir Blackie followed us and curled up near the ends of the bedding as we settled our children to sleep. 

After we had tucked our children in, we went back to the hearth as the elders and senior members of the board listened to the plans for tomorrow morning. 

"So what's the plan tomorrow? Would Your Majesty be heading back to town or stay for another night?" Eagle asked as he made ready to change the plans to visit Hellsgate and then to deploy the men accordingly.

"Hmm... I reckoned they we go back by early breakfast. Heather and the children, Eagle and 2 shadow unit members would travel by Dragon Boat. The rest all fall back to town once we had finished breakfast and cleared the area clean."

"We would be heading out to Hellsgate but not too close to it. Eagle, please prepare the concussive explosive and the armour piercing blades arrowheads at the back seat of Dragon Boat." 

"We would be using the concussive arrowheads instead for our main assault. Soft targets would only require one or two of these arrows to deal with them effectively. The less time we spend to annihilate them, the better."

"If we chanced on them, hit hard, hit fast and then get the hell out. We have the children travelling with us and even though they can speak fluently, I don't think they could serve any better during any battle. I would like to avoid such confrontations as much as possible of the children are with us."

Eagle and the rest affirmed with my decisions as we retired for the night. I was literally blinking and staring at the sky above as I find it hard to sleep after going through the events ever since the dwarves and elves had left. 

"Our children would be treating the realm as their own mini University after all. They would advance and develop their intelligence faster than any children and us too...!" 

I mentioned to Heather as she rested her head on my chest as she too was slightly afraid of our children being too intelligent and growing up way too fast for us to catch up.

"So complicated?" The soldier was dumbfounded. He was just trying his luck when he asked these questions.
Given Qiao Nan's age, coupled with the fact that she usually taught them English that was more practical for daily use and the common and simple English knowledge, the solider was not confident if he would really receive an answer after he posed this question.

To avoid the situation of losing interest in reading, it's best that you choose short or medium-length bilingual novels to buy. Please don't buy long novels. As for the third method, you must pick the films with a genre that you like. For example, shootout or science fiction. It's best not to try the topics that you're not interested in." 
Qiao Nan could only recommend things that would only be available a few years or even a few decades later. If she stated those titles now, she would expose her secret.
"Thank you, Teacher Xiao Qiao. I know what to do now!" The soldier's eyes lit up. Qiao Nan gave a very specific answer. After having some directions, of course, the soldier would know how to improve his English if he was eager to do so.

At the small entrance of a small orphanage a young woman could be seen holding a child in her arms. It was cold that night as it was late November. A short but agonising amount of time later an older lady opened the door. As if she expected to see no-one but a child left abandoned she jumped a little, recovering quickly the older woman invited the woman and child inside. As they walked inside the older lady said "I am the caretaker of this orphanage, if you wouldn't mind telling, why are you here?"

The younger woman was clearly better off than most mothers who gave up their children, but still she was there. The young woman's voice cracked as she said "I am hunted by evil people, please take my child and teach him well."

The old caretaker nodded and said "How long do you have before they find you?"

The young woman cried for a short time before saying "Only an hour at best, probably half of that."

The old caretaker held out her arms and said "Though I might have been educated I am by no means caught up with current knowledge. Send books if you can but I will teach him to the best of my abilities."

The young mother cried harder for a moment still not wishing to give up her child. Slowly she handed the old caretaker the child and said "I will, I will send you books and money when I can, keep him safe."

Before the old caretaker could respond the woman ran out the door and into the cold November night air. As the door closed the caretaker could swear she saw the woman suddenly. accelerate to an impossible degree and disappear from sight.

The old caretaker sighed and thought 'My imagination is wild.' before her thoughts could go farther a soft crying could be heard as the child awoke. Quickly walking further into the orphanage the old caretaker grabbed a bottle of milk and sat by the fireplace. For a short time she simply cared for the child not bothering to think of the days happenings any further.

As the years passed a young boy grew. His rate of learning was impressive to say the least and the days passed in silence as he read books that he was told where from his mother. He never truly believed they where from his mother but any time he had voiced this he had been told off.

This boys name was Daniel and he was an orphan of the Great European Orphanage. An orphanage for all nationalities and as of recent years a heaven for orphans.

But every good thing always comes to an end, people started being greedy due to the new abilities everyone would have, some were stronger than others, so a group of people started experimenting with children so they would be stronger, some type of meta humans.
Because of that, something was awoken in Gada, a dark being and it's army, humans fought bravely but it wasn't enough, so a man named Tobias Dankworth took the ancient books, his family, and a group of people with him into the forest so they could scape from the dark one, leaving all the others to die. The only survivors were the children that were meta humans, and a group of three scientists. The children who survived would soon become the guardians of Gada.
