He woke up to darkness.
Survive. Live. Thrive. The words kept pounding in his head, inducing echoes of pain that would likely lead to a headache later on. 
He groaned, annoyed at his disrupted sleep. The sheets were soft beneath him and the covers a warmth that pleasantly protected him from the room's chill. 
He rose up on the bed, yawning lazily as he tried to remember where he was. It was too dark to see anything beyond the dim movements of his own body, so he pushed the covers, feet reaching for the floor. The moment he felt cold marble, lights shone around the room, blinding him. Eyes blinking, he tried to make his surroundings in-between white spots. 
A large bed with heavy green pillows and covers. A windowless room with marble flooring and beige walls. A comfortable sofa, two cozy couches and a small table in their midst. It was a very nice room. Wooden draws with odd, elegant engravings. Fur carpets in bright greens and dark blues. Silver frame for the mirror. Dark gold for the paintings. 
A really, really nice room. He didn't recognize any of it.
Where was he? How did he come here? Why wasn't he back in… back in--
Back in where? Where was he before this? 
He came up with a blank. He couldn't remember. What was he doing yesterday? What was outside this room? What did other people look like? 
Blank. Blank. Blank.
What did he look like?
In a panic, he ran toward the tall silver-framed mirror. A young man in his late teens or early twenties greeted him. A man with black skin and long white hair. Someone built lean and athletic, with handsome features. Someone in a well-worn grey nightgown and loose pants. 
He touched his face. Who was this?
"I…�� he started and abruptly stopped. Was that what he sounded like?
He couldn't remember. Blank. Blank. Blank.
He stepped back from the mirror, hating the stranger in its reflection.
There had to be something he could remember. There had to be.
His family? His name? His memories? Anything at all?
He fell to the carpeted floor, defeated.
Blank. Blank. Blank. No memories. No family. No name. 
There was nothing. Just empty space where his memories should have been.
He rubbed his temples. The headache returned with a vengeance.
A semi-transparent screen popped up in front of him. 
Surprised, he stared at the illusory rectangle with writing on it.
Weird squiggles and lines on a neat font. He didn't recognize the symbols. He couldn't read the writing. 
He laughed, self-deprecating. He received a magical alarm, and he couldn't even read it! Could he read at all?
A sudden thought came to mind. He could speak! He had spoken before.
"I can speak," he slowly annunciated. The motions familiar on his tongue. The sounds foreign to his ears. What language was that? The only reason he even knew what he had said was because he knew what he was about to say.
"I can speak," he repeated and the misery returned tenfold. He had no idea what syllables he had pronounced, what accent he had spoken, or even in how many words the form of his intentioned meaning was. He had said sounds. They were meant to make sense. He didn't know how. 
You weren't supposed to have this level of disconnection between speaking and thought. He knew that. How did he know that?
How did he know anything?
He sat there for a long time trying to understand what was happening to him. No answers came. His headache grew and screens appeared twice more before he decided to explore the outside.
He opened the heavy, wooden doors, finding them surprisingly light. What greeted him was a large hall. The space alone easily eclipsed his room, with granite walls and stone floors. Tall, majestic columns held an even more majestic ceiling far above him.
The place was strangely empty; the only furniture being a small throne-like chair, chiseled from grey stone. The bedroom was placed closer to the throne and as he closed the door behind him, he noticed that it faded in the background as if part of the walls.
A hidden door?
He sat on the chair, a bit weirded out as it faced opposite the tall metallic gates at the other end. If the spacious hall was majestic, then the gates were plain intimidating. They were easily the most luxurious thing in the room, with bejeweled ornaments and elegant incisions of silver and white gold.
A small shiver of cold as something hard and metallic formed in his hand. A simple knife with a dark wooden handle had appeared in his hands. He stared at it. So, objects could appear out of thin air too?
Noises came beyond the hall. He strained his ears to hear them. The sound of heavy steps and intelligible voices rested just beyond the gates.
He stared at the knife that had appeared with such a coincidental timing.
Multiple screens popped up in front of him. He ignored them in favor of covering his ears as the sound of screeching metal against stone made way across the hall. The gates were slowly being pushed open to reveal three humanoid figures dressed in leather and metal. 
A new screen popped up before him. With no time to think about why, his breath shattered as he recognized one of the words.
[... Survive ...]

The world used to be normal. The poor worked, tired, and slept. The rich laughed, drank, and slept. Whether you were a farmer, a warrior, or a mage, you knew your place in the world. You knew how to survive day by day as nations waged war and droughts destroyed crops. You kept your head down and prayed. Or you stood up and had your head cut down.
Until one day, God spoke.

Towers rose from the depths of the earth, tall enough to pierce the skies.
100 floors. A single trial.
Power, fame, glory. All at your fingertips.
Monsters raged against villages. Storms descended upon cities.
The world changed. Life for many worsened.

A chance to change everything.

On long-term hiatus. This was just an idea that wouldn't leave alone, and I can see myself continuing it sometime in the far future but not right now, dear readers.

Deep in a forest somewhere "Come on get moving we need this cargo to the castle by yesterday!" a man yells while pointing at a coverd wagon. Inside their is a cage with five women they all are very beautiful well except the fact that all their eyes are blank and dim.
 At this moment a lone man comes walking up to the slave trader's baring a mask on his face. This mask is blank and smooth no paint or markings to show on the surface. "You there stranger would you like to view our merchandise!" the slave traider calls the man over "Sir that mask covers his ears." another points out. 
As if hearing them the stranger saunters over to them reaching in to his pocket to pull somthing out. "Ah so you can hear us come we have five beautiful young slaves just waiting for their first master". Holding up five fingers the strainger purchases every one of them than hands them a jade object. The group gatherd around it as their appraiser does his work.

Ive read all these novels with an op character hiding who they are and wants a quiet life so lets flip the script and follow a young lady who comes across the litteral incarnate of chaos who vowed to never be board again

Ye Youyou's face burned in embarrassment. She snatched her hand back and covered her breasts. She turned her body such that her front was facing up and pulled the covers over her body. Her heart was beating so hard that she could feel it in her chest.
Her blush spread from her face all the way past her ears. Ye Youyou didn't even dare to breathe too loudly. Staring up at the ceiling ahead, she said, "Last night… We were both drunk."
Li Jinnan was in a good mood as he witnessed her embarrassment. Without a sound, the corners of his mouth lifted in a smile. He flipped himself over and sat up.
 "Yeah." His voice was low and hoarse. It sounded seductively sexy.
Li Jinnan picked his pants up from his floor and searched its pockets for a cigarette. He took one out and lit it up.
He turned his head and saw that Ye Youyou was blushing furiously. With a wiggle of his brows, he took a puff of his cigarette and questioned, "So?"
"So, this falls under the category of drunk sex." Ye Youyou hugged the covers close to her body. She turned away slightly so that Li Jinnan wasn't able to look at her face.
So, is she telling him not to mind it? Or, is she telling me I don't have to take responsibility?
Li Jinnan chuckled and bent forward towards her. He exhaled a cloud of white smoke, and stated lazily, "It's not."
The puff of smoke flew across her face. The acrid scent of tobacco wafted past her nose. 
When Ye Youyou heard Li Jinnan's reply, she stiffened and asked in bewilderment, "What?"
"It wasn't drunk sex." Li Jinnan's voice was lower than usual. His voice was seductive and magnetic as he brought his lips close to her ear and muttered, "I intentionally slept with you."
Wham!
As if Ye Youyou's mind had just been struck by lightning, it went blank.
Li Jinnan saw that her ears had reddened even further. He couldn't resist teasing her. He lowered his body and leaned forward. He reached out and rested his hand on her shoulder as he continued, "Moreover, I was thinking…"
Before he could finish his sentence, Ye Youyou's body suddenly jerked back. She yelled, "You're not allowed to think!" 
At the same time, she turned around forcefully and rolled over to the other side with the covers tucked beneath her. As she turned, her body got caught inside the covers, and she landed on the floor.
Ye Youyou wasn't prepared for the tumble. With an astonished yelp, her face reddened as she lay in a heap on the floor.
The both of them had shared a blanket. Now that the blanket was wrapped around Ye Youyou on the floor, there was nothing covering Li Jinnan's body.
Ye Youyou turned her head subconsciously to look. All she saw was the figure of an Adonis. Her mind blanked out even further. She turned her head back quickly. Her heart was beating in her throat, and her breathing was erratic. Embarrassed beyond words, she closed her eyes tightly.
Li Jinnan, on the other hand, chuckled. He put out his cigarette and said, "Come on and get up. I won't look at you."
The moment he said that, Ye Youyou heard him getting dressed behind her. Immediately after, Li Jinnan headed into the bathroom. The sound of the running tap could be heard.
Ye Youyou released a sigh. She got up with the covers still wrapped around her. She turned to look at the mirror by the headboard and saw herself blushing furiously.
As she got up to put on her clothes, she realized that there was some sticky substance on her body. It was very uncomfortable.
She got dressed and went to the mirror behind the wash stand. On her neck and collarbone were black and blue bruises. It was almost as if she had just been tortured.
At that moment, Li Jinnan coincidentally emerged from the bathroom. His eyes roamed around her neck for a good while.
Ye Youyou felt her body tense up. She lowered her head and rushed into the bathroom, bolting the door shut quickly behind her.


In her previous lifetime, they had married for five years. He meant everything to her, but she was thrown away like an old shoe. 

After her rebirth, she gave him a divorce contract preemptively— 
“Divorce after one year, the terms of the contract are as follows: husband and wife shall not share a room or bed. Intimacy forbidden?” 
he raised his eyebrow. 

Who knew that after she got drunk one day, leaning on the headboard, he rested his deep-set eyes on her. "You broke the contract, Mrs, Li."

Aran kept walking around the ruins. He didn't know the way out so he had to explore little by little making his way around the place searching for an exit. Fortunately, even though   it was dark inside there were lights that would pass through the small holes above the roof.

Aran was not afraid of the dark. Unlike most people, he was instead adventurous. 

Aran made his way into what could be the past dining hall. It was large space where a long table with luxurious decorations in the walls and ceiling but it was dark and gloomy, full of dust and surrounded by a heavy atmosphere. 

There were still books that could be found everywhere. This place was full of them, many people in the past could have read them here. It was mysterious and Aran questioned the purpose of coming here.
He picked up a few books and looked at the covers. He saw that there were no pictures but there were titles that surprised and shocked him. 

He saw on the covers like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and many more.

"What is this place? How come there are books like these here?" 

Aran thought that this place was not simple. Books from his previous world made its way here. Who could be the people who were living here in the past have copies of books that came from another world that scientifically cannot be explained. 

He took a bag that was lying on the ground full of dust and strapped it. Aran chosed all those that he might read later putting them inside the bag.

He kept recting the phrase but he felt that it did not gave him improvements anymore so he stopped chanting it in his mind. 
Aran explored for hours and still did not find an exit. He remembered the book he found earlier and took it from inside the bag. 

He saw that the magical engravings that stopped him from opening the book were now gone and he saw that the blank cover has now a title in it. 

He was not shocked anymore due to the mysteriousness and weirdness of this place. There seem to be magic in this world. Aran arrived at this conclusion based on his understanding.

He opened the book and surprisingly it was easy flipping the page. There was an introduction on the first page with a symbol of a pen and ink at the center top. 

Aran read the introduction and it said, "Those that wield this book shall gain power unlike any other." 
It stopped there and Aran flipped to the next page and saw a phrase, "You write what you become."
He was curious what the book was because it said it could give the wielder power but he did not know what should he do to have it.
Aran flipped again and he's eyes was glued on to the page because he was shocked on what he saw.

"A system but on a book?"

He flipped on to the next page but it was blank. There were no words or phrases that could be found when he tried flipping until the last. 

He found out that the stats on his strength and agility was a little low compared to his intelligence. 

He was not surprised though because he was a straight A-student in his school and topped most of his exams from his peers.
He continued look around for an exit and saw plenty of books lying on the ground like it was garbage found on the street. 
While he was walking, he read the books that he found earlier on the dining hall and what he picked was Star Wars. 
He opened a random paged and started reading it. 

He did not know that the Novel System started working and his exp grew by a bit and on the Skills status it said there that he learned a new skill [Force Lv.1]

Aran and his journey with the power of books tries to unlock the mystery of his arrival in this brand new world.

Tirza ran to the shelves and grabbed a book. Snuggling under her covers, she handed the book to Severus who sat on the bed beside her. "Once upon a time." he began reading. "Wait a minute! How many years ago was that? I asked mom once and she didn't know, do you know?" Snape's mind went blank. 'How the bloody hell would I know?' "It was 150 years ago." "Oh." She nodded. "Wow, I that seems like millions of years ago." Snape rolled his eyes and attempted to continue. "In a faraway kingdom, there lived a widowed gentleman and his lovely daughter Ella." "Wait! Were you alive 150 years ago, did you know Cinderella?" "No child, I am only in my late thirties." "Well, that's old too. Too bad you didn't know Cinderella though." Snape was already sick of reading bedtime stories. Snape continued reading with many interruptions as to the injustices of Cinderella sleeping in the attic and how the stepsisters ripped Cinderella's mother's dress and several questions about mice who could sew.
He came to the part in the story with the fairy godmother. "Bibbidi-bobidi- bo?" Snape sneered. "What kind of charm is that?" "Can you turn pumpkins into carriages?" Tirza asked. "No." "That sucks." He finally came to the end of the story. "And Cinderella and the Prince lived happily ever after." Snape closed the book, thankful it was done. "Do you think people can really live happily ever after?" Tirza asked. "'Cuz I don't." "Why not child?" Tirza rolled her eyes. "Cuz nobody can live happily ever after. There is no such thing." She told him softly as she looked away. Snape watched as a haunted look came over her face and in her eyes. He could tell something was wrong. "How do you know child?" He watched her eyes start to glisten with tears. "Bad things happen that make you sad. Sad things aren't supposed to happen in happily ever after." Tirza refused to say anymore on the subject and Snape reluctantly tucked the covers in around her. He left as though he was missing something; that he was missing the signs of what gave her that haunted look.

"Duanxian Yu, why..." are you here? Nervous fingers clutch tightly near the collar of his shirt.

"Shh." Duanxian Yu covered Fu Xi's eyes with a hand. His icy gaze flitted past each and everyone of the spirits present before him. Refusing to remove his cold gaze, he leaned himself closer to Fu Xi's ear as he whispered words of comfort. "Don't worry, I'm here."

Gentle words in contrast to the coldness of his gaze caused even the dead to shiver with apprehension. Realizing the change in atmosphere, the ghosts began to retreat slowly away from them.

"Rest for awhile. I will take care of the rest." Dark mist crept out from his body and the surrounding walls as they wriggled their way towards the retreating ghosts.

Miraculously, hearing Duanxian Yu's words combined with the steady beating of his heart. Fu Xi gradually relaxed his tense body. Fatigue welled up inside him as he leaned against a strong comforting chest. Listening to the rhythmic beating of Duanxian Yu's heart, Fu Xi slowly drifted away. Unaware of the tragedy happening just a few steps away.

The last thing he remembered was a helpless laughter sounding from above his head.

Shivering from a sudden burst of cold wind, Fu Xi slowly opened his tired eyes. "Where?"

Scanning the room to the familiar sight of tables, rugs, shelves, and lamps. Fu Xi immediately recognized this place to be Duanxian Yu's room. 

Then I must be resting on his bed…caressing absentmindedly the soft bed sheets, Fu Xi slowly looks down at his hands.

"?!!"

"Clothes! Where are my clothes?!" 

Unable to find any article of clothing, Fu Xi hurriedly wrapped himself with the bedding around him. Just as his embarrassment began to calm, an indolent voice rang out in the room.

"You're awake."

Duanxian Yu sat at a darkened corner of the room with his legs crossed in front of him. One hand swirls the contents within the glass while another hand lightly covers the area around his lips. Glowing purple eyes churn with an indescribable emotion as it trains itself on Fu Xi's figure. 

How long has he been sitting there watching him?

"Duanxian Yu?" He called out carefully, sensing the strangeness of the man in front of him.

"Hm?" The man flinched upon hearing his voice, unintentionally spilling some wine onto his hands. Red droplets slid from his wrist and landed onto the fine carpet, staining it a dark scarlet. Standing up from his position, Duanxian Yu made his way towards the youth on the bed.

Step by step, his shadow stretches in sync with each stride he took until he reached the figure on the bed. "Fu Xi….." He said in a barely audible voice, then silence.

Staring at the youth before him, Duanxian Yu failed to find the right words to say. Why were you alone? Why did you do something so dangerous? Are you in pain? And….why didn't you call for me? Mixed emotions pushed and pulled at his heart while his impassive face remained staring at a constant direction.

Waiting for a while without the continuation of Duanxian Yu's next sentence, Fu Xi looked up at the towering shadow beside the bed. Clashing onto a pair of heated pupils, he instantly lowered his head as pale cheeks began to redden. Clutching onto the covers over his body, fidgeting fingers rub against each other as he opens his mouth. "....Thanks….." An uneasy voice delivered itself into Duanxian Yu's ears.

Although low in volume, the explosion caused in its wake whilst entering his ears is enough to stagger him. This is the first time...the first time Fu Xi ever thanked him for anything. Unexpected euphoria charged straight to his head and induced a bout of dizziness. Steadying his body by holding onto the stand near the bed, Duanxian Yu glanced at the squirming figure wrapped into a ball.

Sensing dissonance, Fu Xi raised his head to peer at the appearance of the person in front of him. Although unwilling to care, he was still rescued from a dangerous situation thanks to this individual. Therefore, "Hey? You okay?" It's only right to be a little concerned about him.

Losing all means of self control, Duanxian Yu directly pressed Fu Xi onto the bed. 

"What are you-!"

"Shh." Duanxian Yu placed a finger onto Fu Xi's soft lips. "We need to do it again tonight."   

Hearing his words, the youth under him began to blush with anger and shame. Porcelain skin now took on a flushed glow due to embarrassment. "We just did it yesterday!"

"The more times, the better the effect. No?" Inclining closer to the side of his face, Duanxian Yu continued, "beside, you don't want them to spread further across your body, right?" His deep husky voice is like the aria of the devil's. Dragging his prey further into the abyss, making them unable to refuse his requests.

Knowing that what he said is not incorrect, Fu Xi finally nodded with difficulty. "You...be a little more gentle with me…." A sense of shame washed over him as he covered his eyes with both arms, refusing to look at the state of himself in a moment.

Giving a light chuckle, Duanxian Yu's finger slipped into the covers and drew out a slender leg. Placing it on top of his shoulders, Duanxian Yu planted a fleeting kiss on his ankle, causing his toes to curl with unrest. 

"Are you afraid?" He whispered enticingly, hands slid from the jade-like ankles up to milky-white calves and landed firmly on those smooth thighs. Inclining his body forward, commanding movements caused Fu Xi's leg to shift higher on Duanxian Yu's shoulder. "Or could you be excited?"

"Duanxian Yu!" Incapable of withstanding this aggravating teasing anymore, Fu Xi threw a look of outrage at the grinning man. "Stop! I'm not doing this treatment any longer!" Struggling to remove his leg from an awkward position. He fails to notice the covers slipping away from his skirmish, revealing the sight from underneath. 

Glistening black scales speckled parts of his wiry body. From his chest, shoulders, back, and legs, these mysterious plates gave off a daunting aura. But coupled with the milkiness of the skin it's growing on, they instead gave Fu Xi an indescribable ambiance. As if his body is a blank painting and the scales serve to be the ink added to this landscape. They do not look ugly, instead, he looks beautiful. 

Duanxian Yu's gaze gleamed with radiance as he admired the view before him. Turning his head to the side, the tip of his tongue flick across the scale on Fu Xi's thigh before biting onto that part of the flesh. Lightly nibbling on that patch of skin, his sight flitted past the blushing face of the youth under him. 

Firmly holding onto Fu Xi's leg with one hand, his other hand hoisted the young man up from the waist. Pulling him closer to his body before saying, "only I can help you quell the speed of growing scales over your body." Thin lips started to paste itself over the scale growing on the collarbone. "Only I can give you the answers you want."

Biting onto the piece of black plate with strength, a splintering sound accompanied by Fu Xi's painful panting echoed in his ear. The taste of iron flowed into his mouth as he grinned with a fanatical expression. "I am the only one who can do this to you." Purple pupils darken to near black as red stained lips arranged into a passionate curve. 

Muttering some unintelligible words under his breath the flowing blood wriggled like worms and began to swim over parts of Fu Xi's body. Bit by bit flowing downwards until gradually, they attach themselves to form a mysterious pattern. Blooming red peonies radiate a sinister air as they wrap around Fu Xi's white skin. It flashes a few moments before diminishing its light and sinking into the flesh of its host. 

With the disappearance of the strange symbol, the black scales on Fu Xi's body seemed to have lost its luster. With a light sweep of Duanxian Yu's fingers, the dull scales dissolve into ash and flew away. Although not every plate has perished, there is a clear contrast to the image before and after. His little daoist should be satisfied with this outcome.  

Staring at the fainted Fu Xi, Duanxian Yu landed a gentle peck on his pale lips as he gathered his limped body into his arms. "I know what it is you desire." His face flushed an unnatural crimson, as his arms tighten even more. "I will arrange everything needed for when you take the stage. In return….." Thin lips pressed into a straight line as his frenzy expression melted into a blank look. "Don't spurn me….."

I waited a few millenniums in order to get close to you.

But so many problem keeps getting in my way.

Husband, hold on. I'll come back to seduce you after I clean up this mess.

A place where my heart navigates.
A place where peace surrounds me.
A place where hope still exists.
A place where you will find me.

A place where cheerful laughter covers the roar of flying cylinders.
A place which protects my heart and encases it with a silk fusion.
A place where love is love.
A place where we share hugs and warm welcomes.
A place where I belong.
A place which I can always call home.

Slowly the laughter ends replaced with heart wrenching catastrophe.
Blank faces everywhere.
Dead bodies here and there.

A place where humans cause destruction.
A place where the sun loses its warmth.
And bitter, chilly cold engulfs our lungs.
A place where bloodshed becomes the norm.
A place I can no longer call home.

Just a bunch of spontaneous poems that came to me in my sleep.

"Onii-chan~ (translates to big brother) Nasuko is here. You need to get ready for school! You're already so late." 
   A jolly,  high-pitched voice awoke me from my comfortable sleep. Please, i'm just trying to get as much sleep in so I can work in the afternoon. 
  "Nasuko." Rejoined my memory. 
  Let's just presume, she's almost like my mom. She'll lecture me whenever i'm late, yells at me for yelling at sister for doing something
   horrible, and a thousand of other things . I threw the covers off of me and rushed to get ready. Pshhh, breakfast? No. Nasuko-san already was
  giving me that evil, cold glare. But to my surprise, her expression softened and she jumped to hug me.
  "W-whoah!"

      "Hahahahah!" Her little giggle made me even question the girl that clung on to me like a barnicle even more.
   "You're so silly [Blank]-san~! Today's Saturday! I just woke you up so we can go get yakiniku!"  (Yakiniku is a japanese meat grill dish)
   HUH?!
 "S-so you woke me up to get yakiniku? In the morning? Shouldn't we get ramen or udon?"
     "Yes. In the morning. I'm craving it, but you don't have to work at the supermarket! If you come, I'll buy you teriyaki chicken!" She exclaimed in pure joy.
 Teriyaki chicken? Say less. I'll come.
"Ok."
Her excited expression turned into a grin of evil and good. Just what was I getting myself in to?
   She dragged me everywhere. Onto the crowded train, people stared at her like she was some cinnamon roll dragging a hilly billy of glaze around like nothing.
   
   We went to 4 teriyaki chicken shops. 
 Teriyaki chicken is my absolute favorite food. If chicken is included in anything, say less I'm coming. 
  But, of course there's cons.
I get easily bribed into doing stuff for Nasuko.
  I wouldn't say I'm shy like some of my Chinese friends say. I just don't enjoy getting into other people's business.
 "Nasuko-san"
Since she usually calls me by my first name, she usually puts her hands on her hips and pouts at the fact that I don't call her on a first name basis even though we've been best friends since fourth grade.
    Personally, I think Nasuko sounds better than Yuzuki.
 Now, school talk.
 N-O NO. School is living hell. Please, if you're thinking I'm one of those stereotypical bad anime boys, you best believe I'm not. 
    While I certainly enjoy the anime "The disastrous life of Saiki.K", it's quite strange seeing girls fangirl all over me at the school. Nasuko-san isn't popular, she's     
 technically a back round character according to the girls here at Nokeuma Private Highschool.
   Clubs are going to be the end of me.
   I had chances of getting into band, karate, etc. Yet I volunteered to do janitor work.
  Stupid right? Correct but, as long as I'm here with Nasuko it's fine.
   I'm usually the one who chases girls and guys who pick on Nasuko
who actually have the literal brain cell of a flip flop in the shoe
department.
 "[Blank]-Senpai~!" Shouted a dainty voice from the foggy distance.
At that moment I was stuffing teriyaki chicken into my mouth.
"[Blank]-San? Do you know wh-" 
  "Ah, hey Jurookyn-san."
 "Nasuko? What are you doing here with her? Outside of school too!" The girl said quite coldly.
  "She's my best friend, we're hanging out, duh."
