Tears started to fall out of Zhou Lei's face. This time, his misfortune was caused not by System, but by his sister herself!

His mind was full of thoughts as to how to punish her for it. 

He was so preoccupied that he didn't even acknowledge that his sister tripped. 

"Ah, it hurts!" Zhou Zhenya wailed as she held onto her nose while lying on the floor.

As both Zhou Xiang and Zhou Jiahao heard their daughter shouting, they couldn't bother to stay back anymore, so they decided to go to their son's room.

With great satisfaction, Zhou Lei stood up and went to the computer room.

He had to change his character now. To one of a dense, modest, kind, sensitive to girls... basically a person without any personality.

"Hmm... would I want this?" Zhou Lei contemplated. This would surely help him get popular, but did he really want to do it with a fake personality?

It still cannot produce sounds and it only works as a medium to see and not to hear for now. It might take some time to synchronize voice and the moving pictures."
Looking at the middle-aged man, John thought, 'It looks like we can see a rise of a media and an entertainment mogul since he is quite stubborn when it comes to the entertainment business. Donovan thought, 'Even if the new projectors with sound are out in 4-8 months, we will be able to capture the market and make a good impression on the consumers of our company at the same time. So this will be quite a profitable investment.'
John nodded and spoke, "Okay, since you are confident that you can do good business via the prototype then there should be no problem and we cannot be blamed, you will have to make your checks before buying the prototypes. We will however provide the After Sales service and spares via the company for all the types of equipment like Sky Cameras and Projectors. I will meanwhile authorize our relevant departments at the company and government to sell the projectors."

John nodded and spoke, "Yes, there won't be a problem. This is also so that it can stimulate fast growth. Additionally, the creation of Banks will inevitably leak the Printing technology to other countries as our banks are going to destabilize their financial system which will be noticed in some time now when the border officials of other countries see a change in the inflow and outflow of gold with more merchants dealing in Sky dollars instead of Gold at border villages. Basically we are grabbing their Breakfast, lunch and dinner money and hence should expect extreme reactions if we monopolize the Printers. Anyway, the Value of Sky Dollars is anyway going to increase with or without gold when our financials and economy starts fattening up because of our banks improving the efficiency of commerce. The difference between their economies and ours is that they focus mostly on agriculture and the Military but we will focus on most of the sectors i.e. Agriculture, Commerce, Services and Technology equally. Anyway, this is part of the bigger outlook and plan that I am opening up some sectors and it is also to improve the standard of living of our people. Additionally, our media is going to condition the people socially according to our national needs and hence a bigger reach is good internally. I intend to use the media to increase the interactions between humans, demons, elves, dwarves, beasts, devils and all the other species in Sky so that other countries are not able to create conflicts between races in the future at Sky at least. Additionally, opening up our Printing sector will inevitably increase the exports of our paper since it quite cheap and hence earn loads of export income."
Will was quite surprised after hearing this and understood, "I understand now, Milord."
Will hesitated a bit and didn't speak as he thought that social engineering shouldn't be done.

Everywhere we go these days, you will see printers.  Homes, businesses, and stores all have them.

They say you can print guns.  The device, sure that sounds right.  The shell casing, maybe.  The slug, OK I will be generous there.

"Should we do it ourselves ?! (Jankiel) 

"No, you and your families will stay in Jazłowiec ... but you have relatives who can go to these places. I will provide capital to start this enterprise. Each of you will receive 15,000 ducats ... you have time to answer by tomorrow and keep our conversation a secret." (MC)

I told them to leave and come back tomorrow at the same time with a reply. 

It was already late so I called Sveta to bring me a meal. After a few minutes she showed up with a tray, I looked at its contents ... I will have to start exercising again, with such a diet I quickly gain weight. I looked at Svete and thanked her ... although she tried to hide it, I noticed that she had a black eye ... as they say "he beats because he loves, or the rogue loves the most."... but it also reminded me that I have business to do. 

The next morning I went to see Jerzy, Sveta's husband. 

"Greetings Jerzy. Am I not disturbing you?" (MC) 

He was surprised and a little scared, I had never visited him before. 

"No, Lord. A guest at home, God at home. What can I do for you?" (Jerzy) 

"I heard that you are a good carpenter and I would like to order a table from you." (MC) 

I explained what I mean, what my requirements and expectations are. 

"Lord, it will be hard to find such a wide tree, they grow near the river, but it's too far to bring the log into the city." (Jerzy) 

"You have two thalers here, cut this tree first, and then we will look for people and a way to bring them to Jazłowiec." (MC)

I said goodbye to him and returned to the castle, Jankiel and Aram should visit me in a few hours ... Perhaps I had lost two thalers, but I was going to make his wife my mistress ... he deserved some compensation.

Main character dies killed by a truck in the middle of the sea and is reborn 400 years in the past.



Simply put. MC is not a good man. He's a cruel, ruthless, two-faced, false asshole. On the borderline between a psychopath and a sociopath. He will do anything to achieve his goal, even if he has to drown the world in blood. 

Corruption, power, politics, war.


The language can be vulgar, there will be blood, there will be guts and sex. Probably someone will be offended by reading ... but I don't give a shit.

"Mr. Kim? Mr. Kim?"
Peter felt a sharp jab in his rib and he flinched. Annoyed, his eyes zeroed on his editor who was sitting across from him, wearing an equally annoyed expression on her face. 
"What?" the writer snapped.
"What do you mean what? I have been talking here for a long time and you were not listening to me," Jun Kim answered with a false laugh as she nervously looked around them to see if there were people who can hear them. 
Ever the professional, Jun refused to call him by his given name when they meet up for business.
"If you want me to listen to you, why don't you just call me Peter Choi like you always do? You're always saying Mr. Kim, Mr. Kim— I thought you were talking to yourself."
"Haha, funny," Jun Kim muttered as she frowned at her friend. "We're outside so this is business. You were the one who chose your pen name so why are you complaining now?" he asked, referring to Peter's alias, Anter Kim. "Anter" was a mix of his and Anjee's names while Kim was a common family name in Korea where they lived.
"Yeah, yeah," Peter muttered, choosing to ignore the comment and to start cooperating. 
He'd give anything to be able to go back home right now. For hours since he came to this restaurant to discuss the book he just wrote, he had been restless and hadn't stop looking at his watch from time to time. 
Ever since that day when he had nearly made love to Anjee, the latter hadn't shown up at his place. She didn't even pick up his calls which made the writer depressed. Since Anj had a habit of popping at his house, Peter hoped that she would do that again and so he had holed up at his place. If it weren't for the fact that he had to discuss the book with his editor and Jun Kim knew that they wouldn't be able to do that at the writer's house for Peter had a habit of spacing out when he's at home and not working, the writer wouldn't have been dragged out of the house to this restaurant. 
"So what were you saying?" Peter prompted as he picked up his fork and started stabbing the steak in front of him. 
Usually he would be eating with gusto, but at his present state, with his emotions running rampant, the chunk of meat didn't have its usual appeal. 
"I was telling you that I've finished reading Pathos," Jun said, referring to the manuscript Peter wrote. "I think…"
"It's different?" Peter supplied the word since the editor seemed to be lacking it. 
"Yes, it's different but," Jun's eyes sparkled as she recalled the story which she had finished editing the previous night. "But in a very good way."
With this, Peter's brows rose. Jun Kim was an editor, but she's one that didn't give out compliments easily. Saying that the book he had written was different in a good way was something.
"It's the first time I've seen you write something with a romantic theme," she said. "Even the beginning of the story wherein the baby was abandoned and she was picked up by a prostitute, it was heartwarming and yet heartbreaking at the same time."
"Really? I guess so," Peter commented, but he wasn't really interested. 
"Where did you get the idea for this piece?" Jun inquired after a while. "The name of your protagonist, the one who fell in love with the businessman was Anjee. But, you have a friend named Anjee in real life, right?" the editor continued thoughtfully, and then her eyes widened as she realized something. "Wait! You named the businessman after your real name so it means… it means…that you to Anjee…"
With Jun finding out his secret, Peter stared at his editor, wide-eyed. "I-is that very obvious?"
At his flustered look, Jun chuckled. "Well yes— no, not really. Maybe not to those who do not know your real name. For them, this may be just pure make-believe, but I guess for you that's not the case right?"
"Yeah," Peter sighed heavily, his frustrations making his shoulder slump. "I've tried everything for that girl to know how I feel. But everything I did just wouldn't get through her." 
As a last resort, he unconsciously poured all his feelings in his new piece, used their real names in the novel, and now his editor found out. 
"I just want Anjee to know that I'm seriously in love with her," he grumbled as he grabbed a glass of wine and drank it in one go. 
"You want to express how you feel?" Jun looked thoughtful for a moment before she grinned. "Well, Mr. Anter Kim, I have a better idea." 
"Really? What is it?"
"Have you ever heard of dedications?" the editor asked making Peter stop to think and then a smile finally played on his lips. 
In all the years Peter Choi wrote as Anter Kim, he'd never used the section for authors to dedicate the book to someone. 
"It's like an all-out love confession huh?" Peter asked as he nodded. "Well, I guess that's the only way she'd ever understand."
With this, Jun Kim clapped her hands together. She looked and acted very excited about the idea. 
"When do you think you can pen one?" she asked with eyes that seemed to glitter in anticipation. 
"As soon as I get my bearings together," he retorted. 
He was embarrassed in all honesty. It felt like he had laid his heart bare for everyone to see and judge him. Even if Jun seemed to be happy about it and was even excited about it, he still felt awkward and hesitant. It was him that would be stripped naked and seen once the book came out, after all. 
"Then get your bearings as soon as possible. The printers will not wait forever," Jun reminded him and he snorted. 
"I don't need the extra pressure, thank you very much."

Wallace began his session with a greeting. 
"Welcome to KeyLine publication, Giselle. I'm Wallace, the information guy of KeyLine publication. Nice to meet you." Wallace introduced himself.
"Oh, my pleasure, Wallace. Thanks." Giselle felt comfortable. 
She thought Wallace would be some typical old guy who preaches about the rules and regulations by immersing his audience with long dull and boring lectures. But that was not the case, Wallace is indeed old but he still rocks his young appearance and has a heart of youth. His job at KeyLine publication is probably one of the most boring ones is what often commented by others. 

To other's view, Wallace is a guy who talks about the company's history and knows about IN and OUT of its details. However, Shane Ricardo doesn't use him just for that. Wallace is also in charge of following the public response, paparazzi, rumors, gossips and other spotlight information about their writers. To simply put, Wallace is an important alliance to Shane and KeyLine. He is also well acquainted with every writer, editors, sales representatives, inventory managers, guys at the printers and so on. His network is huge and wide. 
Giselle could feel his majestic presence just by listening to him talk.
Wallace started off with KeyLine's history:
"To start off easy but also most importantly would be KeyLine publication founders. The Ricardo family were the ones who founded KeyLine. It was founded in the year, 1927 by James Ricardo. James is probably Shane's greatest grandfather, I think" Wallace laughed.
Giselle listened intently. Looking at her attentiveness made Wallace return back to his job.
He then continued... the history about KeyLine's growth in the publishing Industry.

One large cup of Americano is already over and yet there's more to learn. Giselle became weak. Noticing her tiredness, Wallace invited her out to lunch together. He got permission from Shane and they both headed out to the nearby burger joint.
Giselle and Wallace happily placed their orders and while waiting for their food, Wallace continued.
"Now, we can freely talk about the writers. We do currently manage a wide range of writers based on their manuscript, mainly. But right now, we got our top four contributors who dedicatedly work with us for a long time. I mean they're books are sold-out as soon as they get released, baby." 
Giselle gasped. 
"Our top four best are Jayce, Gill, Edwin, and Caesar. They have been associated with us for quite a long time. I think Gill is the oldest one right now, in terms of 'writers-associated with KeyLine'. Fact: Shane and Gill are old college friends."
The food arrived sooner than they expected, Wallace stopped with his session and they both enjoyed their lunch together.
"So, this is your major start as an Editor, right?" Wallace asked.
"Yeah. I have been an assistant and a proof-reader but never a proper editor. This will be my first-hand experience." Giselle confirmed.
"You're in good hands. Gill's editor is Jenna. Right now, she's our best. But when she joined, I heard that she never had any work experience. Plus, it was a die-hard situation where she needed the job desperately to take care of her family. I did have the Session with her. She's a good kid. You'll like her." Wallace shared his memories and advised Giselle to make use of this best opportunity.
After lunch, Wallace took the time to explain about each individual authors and their works. This included the genres they write, their current editors, successfully works and their achievements.
Later after their lunch, Wallace and Giselle returned to the office. The next topic of the session was all the rules and events. It also included the benefits for editors at KeyLine.

Time: 03:38 PM
"That's it. You got any doubts?" Wallace ended his session. 
His table had empty cups of Americano. Successfully, his session with Giselle had ended. Giselle looked tired but not completely worn out. She did take notes often to remember a few things. Wallace liked Giselle's calm personality. So, he gave her a lot of tips and advice. 
"Right now, I'm good. In case if I have any doubts, I'll find you." Giselle responded. 
"You got it. Hear, this is my card. And that's my number." Wallace handed over his business card and contact information for Giselle's convenience.
"Thank you, Wallace." Giselle thanked him.
"Text me if you need any help. I'll make sure to respond asap." Wallace gave her a tip.
"So, what's next?" he asked.
"Shane asked me to inform him once my session with you is over. I think I'll be meeting with Jayce." Giselle answered.
"Meeting with Jayce uh?" 
"Yes."
"well here's my advice for impressing your new author. Tell him that you like his first book." Wallace advised her.
"Tainted Love?" 
"Exactly, I heard it's based on his true life. Although his first book never really got much recognition globally, it did sell out many copies. We all say that his recent book 'Money made Love' is the most successful one. However, 'Tainted Love' is his soft spot. That guy is also smooth. So, be careful not to fall for him. After all, he is a Romance Novel author." Wallace winked.

Author's Note:
Get Back to You is very special because it is my first novel and a bold choice, I would say. The once short story showed a lot of potentials to become a perfect novel. The character had a depth to them and an unheard voice, for which I wanted to bring justice by exploring and writing. Just like how we would enjoy a typical romance story between two opposite sexes, I wanted to tell a sweet love story of two beautiful women. Through this novel, I wish to improve people's viewing of LGBT relationships and hope that we show respect without judging.
Join the adventure of Lillian Grey and Giselle and in their struggles to come together. I'm very proud of creating this story, and I constantly work hard to bring justice to its storytelling. I hope that my efforts reap when the readers enjoy the tale as they travel through this journey.

Nico awoke early the next morning in order to question Liam about where to find the closest Library.
"Oh, you already know how to read? That's quite impressive, what are you trying to learn?"
"Anything about magic, I want to be as prepared as possible for when I awaken."
"Hmm, that's a very smart plan. Unfortunately, the governments keep information on magic above the basics on lock. It's the best way they can encourage people to join their militaries.
"If you already know how to read then I'm sure you have already read those books."
"Everyone that wants to become a proficient mage has to join their empire's military when they turn 16. Each empire also has an academy that you can join at the age of 12, however, they are practically impossible to get into considering the competition the nobles bring."
Nico could only nod as a frown began to creep onto his face.
"You could read history books, but I doubt you will be able to gain anything from them. There is a library on the main street a little ways past where the buildings convert to stone. There is a small fee to enter, but I'm sure your parents have enough to get you in."
"Oh, you'd also better wash up before heading over, the people there won't let you in in your current condition."
Nico took a few seconds to think about it and decided it couldn't hurt to learn more. He found his parents waking up and asked them for some change to visit the library. 
They gave him twelve silver coins which Nico believed was a bit much.
Nico had to go grab water from a public well in order to wash up. After washing his clothes and body he went back to his room and used a combination of fire and wind magic to dry off.
It almost took his whole reserve to just use the two elements at the same time. Nico prayed he could find a clue about how to get around this hurtle of laws, but he wasn't that hopeful. 
Nico set off for the Library.
It only took Nico a few minutes to arrive, the library wasn't hard to find. Its design looked somewhat Greek compared to all the other houses and stores in the area. It had several giant stone pillars with a large set of stairs heading up to the entrance. 
Nico entered and went up to the front desk where a stunning woman with blond hair and green eyes was sitting. 
"What can I help you with young man?"
"How much is it to use the Library?"
The receptionist gave him a questioning look before responding. "It costs six silver coins per hour to read here. You're not allowed to take books out of the Library, and any books you damage you will have to pay for."
Nico thought this price was quite steep, but then realized they most likely didn't have printers, making books worth much more.
Nico's parents must have already known the price when they gave him the money so Nico handed the receptionist a dozen silver coins so he could read for two hours.
Nico asked the receptionist where books pertaining to the history of magic were located.
The receptionist smiled and let Nico into the library, guiding him towards the section on the history of magic.
Nico hoped he could find something useful. Although Nico's parents had money to spare, he didn't think that they would be able to afford for him to visit the library repeatedly.
Nico skimmed through the titles until something caught his eye. Isaac Newton, The Tale Of The First Gravity Mage.
Nico picked up the book and began to read, this was the second historically famous name he recognized from his time awakening. 
The summarized book went like this: Newton was born into a modest family; he was awakened at the age of five and quickly grew his core. When he was discovered to have a new law, the Doctrin Empire decided to give him a scholarship to attend their academy.
Newton quickly became the top student in the academy. He graduated top of his class and served his time in the military. 
However, Newton soon started to develop his own theories on magic that did not fit in with the Doctrin Empire's knowledge.
The Doctrin Empire did not like being told they were wrong considering they prided themselves on their accumulated knowledge.
Newton soon became a wanted man as his ideas kept becoming more and more outlandish, but the Doctrin Empire could never catch him as he had developed a blue core and his law of gravity was extremely strong and destructive.
Newton had developed a following until he released a claim that made him sound flat out insane.
Newton claimed that during the awakening process people were actually made to live out a full life in a world without magic until they found a connection to an element or obtained an understanding of a law.
The claim only got more unbelievable as he claimed that he knew this because he still had his memories from his time awakening. He theorized that he had kept his memories because he had brought a new law back to The Continent, however, he never provided any kind of proof.
He only sounded crazier as he claimed that the general events of his awakening life were repeating on a more dramatic scale.
The few followers he still had dismissed all of his ideas, and all of his discoveries were eventually forgotten.
This news shocked Nico down to his bones. He had actually theorized in the back of his mind that those that brought a new law or element to this world would keep their memories after reading the first book on awakening by Benjamin Franklin. 
This book clarified his theory, but also introduced a new idea that he had not observed yet.
If the book was correct the events of his past life would repeat, and Nico would be able to do little about it.
Nico was not sure if it was Newton's fault or not, but the summary of Newtons life definitely had many similarities with what he had heard about early scientists during his awakening.
If Newton had been correct than Nico would not have much more time with his family and would eventually become a recluse again. 
Nico had just gotten his family back and was not willing to lose them so easily again.

    Yuna and Tyrell made their way to Elvin's room, but the elf was not there.  "Where do you think she could be, Tyrell?"  Yuna said, worried about her friend.

    "It is still early in the day perhaps she is assisting the gardening team or eating," Tyrell said.  "Where would you like to check first my queen?"

    "She doesn't eat much, I would guess that she is training," said Yuna.  "Isn't the smithy on the way to the gardens?  We could stop by and see if my sheath has been completed for my sword."

    "Brilliant idea, my queen," agreed Tyrell. "You seem like you are really coming to terms with your new position.  You are a far cry from when you first arrived here with us."

    Yuna thought to herself for a moment before answering, "I suppose I am."  Yuna started walking to their destination.  "You know it's weird being the demon queen, but you want to know the best part about my new job?"

    "What would that be my queen?"  Tyrell asked.

    "There's no printers," Yuna smiled at her joke.  She really hated her printer in her past world, it was the bane of her existence.

    "That device from your memories that put words on paper?"  Tyrell said.

    "Yeah, that's the one." Yuna replied.  "I swear I will never get used to the fact that you all have seen my memories.  I feel like I should explain things, but you already know it, because you violated my mind."

    "Again, I apologize."  Tyrell bowed.  "It was the best way to run reconnaissance on you, I had no idea you would take such a great offence to it."

    "Demons…," sighed Yuna.  The two continued until they reached the smithy.  The smithy was a workshop on the outside of the garden.  Yuna knocked on the door after they arrived.  "Hello!  Anyone in there?!"  She shouted as she knocked.  The door opened swiftly revealing a demon with long straight white hair and pale skin.  His eyes were the iconic purple of the demon race.  He was dressed as a normal blacksmith wearing thick leather clothes and an apron. He looked down at Yuna and smiled.

    "Oh, if it isn't the queen,"  he said happily.  "What an honor it is for you to personally grace my shop, normally only the servants come to interact with me."  He bowed out of respect for Yuna's position.  "My name is Lukio, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, my queen."

    "Yes, you can call me Yuna if you want, Lukio," replied Yuna. "Albert should have dropped some material off to you last night for you to turn it into a sheath."

    "Yes, indeed he did!"  Lukio said, he went back inside of his workshop.  "I was quite surprised! I couldn't believe the Shroud of Agermar had returned to the castle after all these years. Albert wanted me to use the material to make a sheath for the sword of lords.  I was surprised when he told me that it was you who had been chosen.  I wish I could have been there!"

    "Please calm yourself," Tyrell said as she motioned with her hands for him to settle down.

    "His excitement is fine, Tyrell," said Yuna.  "It is nice to see a demon so excited about something other than self-enrichment."

    "As you say, my queen," said Tyrell as she bowed.  "Although I too get excited at times, I just do not show it since it is improper."

    "Please don't hide your emotions from me Tyrell!"  Yuna exclaimed.

    "I will do my best," said Tyrell as she raised herself back up.

    "You seem to know a lot about things, Lukio," said Yuna.  "You called those rags the Shroud of Agermar, are they important in some way?  I know that they repress the power of the blade, but I did not realize they had a history of their own."

    "Yes!"  Lukio responded quickly.  "Just as the first demon lord poured his essence into the blade of lords, his wife Agermar, poured her essence into the shroud.  So that their love would be eternally entwined.  For just as in life when only she could quell the lord's strength, only the shroud can quell the blade's.  At least according to the legend.  It is theorized that it was his action of pouring his essence that weakened him enough for the current demon lord's line to take over.  Had he never forged the blade, who knows where the demon race would be."

    "That is both sweet and sad," replied Yuna.

    "Ah!  Here it is!" Lukio finally found the item he was looking for.  "I present to you, the Sheath of Agermar, I didn't think it right to change the name.  I was able to fully convert the shroud into a proper sheath.  Now it may stay with the blade always, as it should."  Lukio handed the sheath to Yuna.  "Oh, my queen, one last question.  Are you really human?  I see you have a tail and I have never seen a human with one."

    "It is the side effect of my void magic," explained Yuna. "I honestly couldn't tell you if I am still human.  I have demonic eyes already and when I hold the sword of lords, I grow a horn.  I do not know what I am anymore, though I would like to consider myself human."

    "Interesting."  Lukio said.  "Tell me does your skin change color at all?"

    "I think, maybe?"  Yuna grabbed her tail.  "I think it turns this color, I am not sure, it only happened once and I kind of blacked out.  But since my tail is that color, it would be my guess."

    "Very interesting!" Lukio said as he closely examined Yuna's tail. "So, a greyish tint upon pale flesh.  Very interesting!"

    "What is?! Tell me!"  Yuna demanded.

    "Our so different lineages of demons have different skin tones," explained Lukio.  "You see that the current lord and Tyrell have bronze skin, as they are related to each other, this makes sense.  Everyone from their line has had bronzed skin.  Pale skinned demons like myself are more common, but pale skin with a tint is exceedingly rare.  Let me check something."  Lukio pulled out a massive old book from a hidden spot in his wall.  "Oh, and don't tell anyone about this book please, probably should have said that before I pulled it out."

    "We won't," Yuna said before Tyrell could protest.

    Lukio thumbed through the ancient book.  "This book is the reason I know so much!  It is the personal account of the first demon lord.  My family saved it from destruction all those years ago, and have kept it hidden ever since.  It is the only record of the first lord.  He described everything!...Found it!"  Lukio stopped at a page and pointed at the text.  "The first lord's line had the same skin tone as you, my queen!"  Lukio continued to read.  "Oh! Even more interesting, it seems his brother had a tail.  Very interesting indeed!"

**Due to extreme family difficulties the book is on hold for now, hope to resume in April or before.**

This story is a tale of how an office worker, at an intelligence agency, got summoned into another world and married the demon lord. 

 Yuna is a strong willed, independent woman, who has worked hard to get where she is. Yet she couldn't make it out onto the field, where the real action took place, and became a handler to the world's top agents.

 Because of this she found other ways to find happiness in the world. She is a comic junkie and an avid gamer. One day, as she is leaving her job, she encounters her fellow agent in trouble. In freeing him from his dilemma she is inadvertently teleported to another world.

 She is annoyed that such a thing happened to her. However she presses on and through a series of misadventures ends up married to the demon lord she was summoned to stop. What will her fate ultimately end up being? Will she somehow break her bound of marriage and regain her freedom? Will she embrace her new role and burn the world? Or will some other fate fall upon her?

 This book is a comedy romance. The romance starts off extremely slow, Yuna meets the demon lord in chapter 21. I hope you will give it a read and that it will give you some laughs.

The next day, Kalina took the Princess's daughter on a tour of Jazłowiec and its surroundings ... I stayed in my office, I was not going to spend the afternoon in the company of a three-year-old child. I preferred to focus on inventing entertainment... in fact, it had nothing to do with inventing. I just copied simple games that I knew from the future ... Pétanque, badminton, puzzles or many card and board games. I wrote the rules and made descriptions of the gaming equipment and how to produce it ... I was trying to make my lover's life more enjoyable, but I might as well get some publicity from it. I called Mr. Wrone to my place and told him to check the skills of the printers I had brought to Turkey. They are to print my new book "Social Games" in 200 copies. If their skills turn out to be good, the book will be sent to many influential people.

Mr. Wrona informed me that the Princess wanted to meet me and wanted to know where her daughter was and he gave me some reports.

So the families of those sentenced to death will not find much support in the local community, which does not change the fact that I have to get rid of them somehow ... maybe their houses will accidentally burn down or something similar. I gave the orders and didn't bother about it anymore.

A few weeks passed ... the psychological war with the Princess continued, sometimes her daughter disappeared for a few hours, sometimes for two or three days. I denied her any requests to meet me. The ordered armament has already arrived halfway, I had 200 out of 400 sets of Hussar equipment, there were also many willing to serve, my reputation as an experienced commander was a perfect advertisement. Everyone wanted to serve under someone who beats enemies, not being beaten by them.

The books published in the new Jazłowiec printing houses were of acceptable quality, many things could still be improved, but for the first task entrusted to them, it was not bad ... of course, the books were sent to important people and families of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth ... Unfortunately, it was a sad period for my sex life, I wanted to improve my lover's life and I shot myself in the foot. They spent more time playing than ... other things. 

The vicinity of Jazłowiec has also become the site of a series of unexplained deaths and fires ... the victims were families of soldiers sentenced to death a few weeks earlier ... People decided that it was God's punishment for sins ... The case is closed.

I also got two letters, one from the youngest son of Lew Sapieha, Kazimierz Leon Sapieha, with thanks for the bag with holy land and assuring me of the great friendship of the Sapieha family. 

The second letter was from King Władysław IV Waza, who urged me to come to Warsaw. I knew it would happen sooner or later, so there was no point in delaying it.

I ordered carriages, horses and a small group of Cossacks to be prepared. I also told Kalina that she was going with me and the princess' daughter to the capital. The trip was planned in three days.

For the next three days I worked on organizing my Hussar banners. One rota (banner) consisted of a Rotmistrz (commander), his deputy was a lieutenant or namiestnik, the next in command was an ensign who was chosen by the hussars, he also held the rota's banner.

I was able to recruit Stefan Czarnecki as Captain of the Rota, he came from the middle class nobility and was one of ten siblings. As he could not count on inheriting the family property, he became a professional soldier. He served during the war with the Ottoman Empire in the Lisowczyki Banner. 

I was glad to recruit such a significant historical figure, but I was also apprehensive. He was a good commander, but also a risk taker. In later years of his life he hated the Cossacks and Tatars and followers of other religions ... I was hoping that I would be able to change him, or at least control him.

I invited him to a meeting in my office. Though he was several years older than me, his gaze showed respect, and that was a good sign. 

- Mr. Rotmistrz, I'm leaving for Warsaw tomorrow. I was summoned by the King ... maybe when we see each other next time I will not be the Field Hetman of the Crown. 

- Mr. Hetman kidding? Why would the King recall you from office? 

- There are many reasons, but mainly politics ... but it is not important. You stay in Jazłowiec and I hope that when I return the Hussar rota will be ready. It is customary for soldiers to pay for their armor, horses and other things. Therefore, only the richer nobles can do it. However, I change this habit, I pay for everything, but I require obedience. I want Mr. Rotmistrz to turn these people into soldiers who will chase the devil himself if I order them. 

- Mr. Hetman can rely on me, as on Zawiszy. (Polish saying - Rely on Zawisza. Zawisza Czarny was a polish knight in the 15th century)
