When Princess Ivory is told by the Duke of Avas to marry Prince Blaine or else war will break out she is devastated. The planet they are on is known as Gaia and came to be when 4 different dimensions collided against each other and instead fused into one. 

Because of that, a Xianxia(Eastern Fantasy) world, Western Fantasy, Supernatural and Science Fiction was all combined into one.

As to how that came to be, nobody knows and won't try to know due to the absurdness of it in the first place. 

That event was known as the Collapse.

The planet Gaia is 7 times bigger than Earth while also being one of the main trading pubs of the galaxy. Cultivators and heroes from another world also come by time to time.

The world was then divided into a total of 5 zones. They are namely, the Neutral Zone, Fantasia Zone, Super Zone, Huaxia Zone, and the Avant Zone. Each zone all has a special element that can only work in that specific zone and if a person or thing crosses into a different zone, they will perish.

Fantasia Zone
- The zone has the special element known as〈Magic〉and is set around during the Medieval Times. Magic is commonly controlled with the energy known as mana. Has many different dangerous beasts commonly known as〈Monsters〉.

Times Zone
- A zone set in modern times terrorized by crime due to people abusing their abilities. Their special element is known as〈ESP〉but is also sometimes simply called as abilities. Is basically the current modern world with the exception of the fact that the reason that abilities came to be in the first place was due to a zombie apocalypse happening 100 years ago.

Huaxia Zone
- Basically every single Xianxia novel you have ever read and is only full of Chinese people.

Avant Zone
- The world that Cole lived in for 23 years before dying due to slipping off a carpet. Is a very technologically advanced zone. Its special element is its advanced technology. 

Neutral Zone
- A zone located in the middle of all the 4 other zones and a place where all 4 powers of each zone work. Nobody knows why it is such. A person who was born in the Neutral Zone is said to have access to all the special elements of each zone. If the person has moved into the Neutral Zone, they are only able to use the special element from the zone they came from.

It's less used in comparison to Magic though.

Meet Cole Steward. A man renowned across the galaxies for his ability to make and master anything that can be used as a weapon.

At age 5, he had already turned his house into a fortress and mastered the art of the invincible frying pan.

At age 7, he mastered every single martial art known in the universe as well as every single kind of weapon in existence.

At age 10, he built an O-I heavy tank by himself with scrap metal he found in a junkyard.

At age 13, he moved on from tanks and went on to make an entire fleet of spaceships.

At age 15, he built military-grade photon lasers in his underground bunker.

At age 17, he was able to beat the No. 1 strategist of every single galaxy.

At age 20, a war started over him for his incredible talent in weapons.

At age 23, he ended that same war with his fleet of spaceships that was piloted by his fans.

And then during the awarding ceremony where he would be hailed as the galaxy's hero...

He died.

Cause of death? Him slipping on the red carpet of the room and getting his head banged on the marble stairs.

What happened after that?

He got reincarnated into a body of a Mechanica which looked exactly like him into a world which was odd, to say the least.

There was gunfire raging in the east with a Russian holding a vodka bottle while standing on top of a poor man's car.

A technologically advanced city in the north with some kind of energy field protecting it.

A fight between two martial artists wearing traditional Chinese clothing with glowing swords and colorful blasts of qi decimating the landscape in the south.

And a battle between a party of one average-looking young man and 4 other beauties which may or may not have a bushy tail or long ears against a fearsome black dragon while shouting phrases about friendship and love in the west.

He also ended up getting a 5-year-old that looked similar to him as a daughter.

Now follow Cole's adventures in a world that's too jumbled up for its own good and fighting against stupid protagonist tropes while he tries to learn how to be a normal doting father.

Irresponsible Author is irresponsible

I looked around me and saw nothing. Everything around me was a dark abyss. A void. Only darkness was visible for as far as the eye could see. I think I'm sitting on the floor? This void looks kinda calming. But then how'd I get here? I focused hard on trying to remember and my memories slowly returned to me.
The shock of death must have messed with my mind.
I died.
Yes, I remember everything! My name is Alex and I'm a, well how do I put this?
I'm a loser. Yep. I'm self-aware. 

You know what I wasted my life on? Video games. And the occasional TV shows, maybe cartoons. But also I'm also fond of Japanese animation. Whether anime can be considered cartoons or not (They're not), we can all agree that I'm a loser.
My parents kicked me out of the house to get a job and I got stabbed.
What a pathetic end!
Well, I got stabbed so I should be reborn as a slime! I'm delusional. No one gets that reference!
Well it seems like there isn't reincarnation or heaven as far as I've seen.
I'm trapped in this void for the rest of eternity with only my thoughts.
I regret having to go outside.
I should've stayed home. Stay a loser. Why did I have to save that old man, I've always been selfish so it was so out of character. I had no real friends, no girlfriend nothing and now I'm dead.
Actually saying it out loud (in my head) puts it into perspective how pathetic my life was. I knew I was a loser but this is just a disgrace. Man, this sucks.
Dying sucks.
Why does dying have to be like this?
Shouldn't there be like some sort of heaven or afterlife or anything that is better than floating in a void for eternity?
I carry on weeping at how much I don't like dying. It was quite painful getting stabbed.
When I got stabbed I felt pain in my stomach as I got stabbed there. It was warm but then soon my body became cold due to a lack of blood. I struggled to stay awake slowly fading out of consciousness and then I ended up here.
After 5 minutes or so, it's difficult to tell as my perception of time could be warped, something very weird happened. It wouldn't be weird normally however I'm dead.
I see a light and hear a voice, a woman's voice.
Now reasons a woman would want to talk to me are infinitesimal.
Who is this voice? Could it be like some sort of divine being? An angel?
Well It's time to find out.
I can't make out a word this voice is speaking as it seems my 5 senses are messed up but I move through this void towards it. It feels weird to walk. It's sorta like my body is half asleep still. But I was determined to meet this person.
I see her!
She is wearing a white dress and has scarlet red eyes with red hair which stops around the middle of her back. She has like some sort of holy aura that I can feel. It's such a weird feeling to describe but I feel like an atmosphere of holiness if that makes sense. But at the same time it feels fake. Who knows?! I may be delusional
"Alex! I am sorry but you have died"
So I truly am dead.
Well I already knew that but this confirms it.
She is quite beautiful if my opinion matters, but it doesn't.
"Who are you?" I enquire. It sure was odd that a woman is telling me I'm dead and that I'm talking to a woman. The last time I talked to a woman face to face other than a family member had to be at school where I was forced to speak to people. I know right, it's awful. 
Socialising, disgusting.
"I am the goddess of the world of Xaltrey: Ember. You had died on Earth yet your soul is a powerful one, your soul refused to die so it got transported to the abyss. This is a space between all existing realms where souls that have immense strength go to. The protocol for the heavenly beings is to reincarnate them, the soul won't accept the afterlife and it is cruel for us to just leave you here"
A goddess! So that's who she is.
Powerful?
My soul is powerful? What does that mean?! Did my soul lift weights or something?
And Heavenly beings with an S.
That means there's more of them.
Reincarnation exists and alternate worlds exist.
This is too much exposition.
"But why is my soul powerful?" It didn't add up. The exposition made absolutely zero sense to me other than there are multiple worlds.
"The moment you saved the life of that man you subconsciously realised that you have to protect others because of how fragile life can be"
It made sense yet something felt off. It's almost like a gut feeling that there's more to the story. Not that she's lying but like something's off and missing.
It's probably nothing. It might be that the info is a lot to process.
"It might be a bit too much to ask but the world I govern is separate to Earth. I govern over Xaltrey which is a world in which people from Earth would call fantasy because of how different it is. There exists magical spells and beasts and monsters only ever seen in fiction. There exists a terrible creature, a demon named Yazuro..."
I burst out in laughter at that ridiculous name. What sort of demon, a thing that is supposed to be terrifying, has a name as stupid as YAZURO.
So I truly am going to a fantasy world? That's amazing! Other than the name Yazuro it sounds great. This is awesome!
So it sounds like the multiple heavenly beings she mentioned, govern different worlds.
So the world is called Xaltrey and I can reincarnate and use magic!
This is amazing! I can't believe that this is actually real!
"I know you aren't familiar with the names and culture of this world but I ask of you not to laugh. Despite how much you want to laugh at the name I have to remind Yazuro is a demon, a terrifying beast that would rip you in half like paper and burn your remains. if he ever finds out about you mocking him."
I Should listen to Ember as she is the goddess of this world so she should know if this Yazuro is scary. So demons exist in this world and have stupid names. Well I like this world so far and I haven't even seen it yet!
"Yazuro is an ancient demon who has held a grudge against life in general and me specifically. 970 years ago he was sealed using the power of 10 great mages however one of them was corrupt and made it so if humanity survives another 1000 years the seal will shatter and Yazuro will unleash his genocide on life. My quest for you is to reincarnate in Xaltrey and prepare for 30 years to fight and challenge the beast thus ending his reign of terror on this world.
Conquer the ways of the world and save everyone! Get the trust of the world behind you and lead the army that will end this thousand year old monster! Worst case scenario is Yazuro wins and kills me which will destroy the whole world and everyone in it"

"G-G-Goddesses aren't immortal as there are beings above our power who we call The Ancient Ones."
These entities that are more powerful than a goddess sound interesting, they must be frightening and powerful if she scared of them instead of Yazuro.
I got it! The ancient ones must be like what H.P Lovecraft described. I mean they share the same name so why not be the same thing. Or maybe they're completely unrelated and it's a coincidence. Well I hope I don't meet Cthulu.
I decided to change the topic.
"So what will happen when I'm reincarnated?"
"You will be born into a peasant family as a newborn baby..."
"Why a newborn?!"
A newborn! But that's like a whole 2 years of my life wasted on drinking milk and being useless.
"We can't make you go into a body which already has a soul and we can't send your physical body there so this is the best option. You'll keep your memories so, as I was saying you will go to Xaltrey which is the name of the planet and will be in the kingdom of Yelgard named after the family name of its original monarch whose descendants still have. It is similar to medieval Europe so don't expect the best life as your father is a farmer and your mother is a housewife. Your father is named Roy Bastray and your Mother is Elise Timer and you have a 3 year old sister named Sarah."
So Medieval fantasy Europe. As a peasant, I hope not to get some disease and die. Wait a minute! I have modern world knowledge!
I can keep safe. And maybe become rich but that's for later. 
The names are normal but what's up with the surnames, almost as funny as YAZURO.
This sucks that I'll have to live with the name Bastray.
"I'll be sending you so any more questions, I can't bring you back after I send you so make sure you spend your time here well."
"Yeah, how do I use magic? That's my only question."
"You'll naturally get magic by the age of 3. You have to have someone teach you how to use it and the system gives skills that you can use to make magic easier. I'm sending you off now"
WAIT? System? Like one of those story concepts on those webnovels I've read. Before I could ask for more detail I lost consciousness and started my journey.
I shall conquer the ways of this world to protect the heavenly being like she stated. 
What should I call this quest?

How am I thinking when unconscious.

Xaltrey, a world that will soon fall into the grasps of cataclysm. 

Yet a hero exists, a being who reincarnated to this world.
The reincarnate is called Alex, a loser to society. He contributed nothing. He was nothing in the eyes of others.  Until one day he got killed.

He met the goddess of the Xaltrey asked of him to defeat the evil demon Yazuro however the problem is he has to start from a newborn child in a poor family and has to work his way up to the strength required by age 30 or else the demon will win. 

A journey of magic and monsters, evil and good, heroes and demons. Starting with nothing, he has to conquer the ways of this world. 

Yet there are greater evils yet to be discovered.

The rest of the training went by quickly, as Elder Xing went over the basics pros and cons of each weapon that Bai Qi asked about. Most of it was instinctive to Bai Qi, though there were some weapons that caused him to raise his eyebrows.
After the hours had gone by, Bai Qi was engrossed in the lesson, a low chime reached their ears.
"Ah," Elder Xing said. "Lunchtime."
He turned around, putting all the weapons away, and opened up a doorway leading back to the cafeteria. "Go ahead," Xing motioned. "I have matters to take care of, so eat without me, and wait at the dining hall. Elder Mu will pick you up for your lessons after."
Bai Qi walked through the doorway into the dining hall, taking a seat at the curved table. The elder from breakfast, the one that was reading at the end of the table was surprisingly still there, giving the impression he had been sitting there the entire time. He was nonchalantly munching on the bread. He looked up at Bai Qi as he walked in, then went back to his parchments.
The room was already filling up, as the chime from before signaled the gates opening. As Bai Qi sat there, Elder Fang came bumbling in, with what looked like a cat on his shoulders.
"Bai Qi," Elder Fang said, nodding at him. The cat on his shoulders hissed at Bai Qi, and unfolded wings from its back, taking off from Elder Fang's shoulder.
"Oh no you don't," Elder Fang said, swiping and grabbing the cat by its hind leg. 'Don't mind it, she's moody most of the time."
Elder Fang plopped the cat back on his shoulder, and the cat hissed again, swiping at Elder Fang's face with its pudgy arm, claws out, Elder Fang tilting his head back to dodge. "Harmless," he said, not reassuring Bai Qi at all.
"I'm sure she is," Bai Qi said.
"Well, I would have loved to come by and chat about how your days been," Elder Fang said, "but I need to get the monthly rations and head back to my animals."
The elder at the end of the table looked up, and then tossed a ring towards Elder Fang, then looked back down. Elder Fang briefly looked at the ring, then put it on. "Well, that's it for me," he said, as he waved goodbye, walking through the gateway.
The dining room was considerably emptier compared to the breakfast crowd. The afterglow from the gateways slowly faded away one by one as food started to appear on the tables.
Bai Qi slowly grabbed food, and ate, ignoring the momentary glances from the other people. He felt really out of place, though this was more of him feeling like someone on display, as he couldn't really eat faster to finish early and leave since Elder Mu would be meeting him here. For that reason, he tried to slow down, but the lessons from Elder Xing had left him hungry, so he couldn't help but finish eating quickly.
As time went by, more and more people finished eating. The dining hall slowly started emptying, one table at a time, until there were only about a handful of people left, mainly situated around a single table. They were engrossed in a discussion.
Some more time had gone by, the elder at the end of the table looked up, then cleared his throat, the sound being amplified through the hall, The people at the table looked up, and waved at the elder, before collecting their items, and bowing before leaving. As they left, the glowing orbs and the candles on each table dimmed, before going out completely.
The hall was basked in shadows, with sunlight coming in windows, illuminating patches at a time. The elder table was still illuminated.
Slowly the minutes trickled by, as Bai Qi sat there, wondering if Elder Mu had completely forgotten him. The elder on the other end of the table even looked at Bai Qi curiously, wondering why Bai qi was still there, but not bothering to say anything.
After a while, Bai qi lost hope, and as things seemed bleak, where Bai Qi considered asking the Elder for help, the gate glowed, and Elder Mu stepped out. "Miss me?" he asked, as he walked through.
"Late much," Bai Qi replied.
"I got caught up in some matters."
Bai Qi gestured at the hall behind him.
"It was a series of  important matters."
Bai Qi gestured again.
"Cheeky huh," Elder Mu said, sitting down, and bringing up some food in front of him.
Bai Qi just stared at him.
"I didn't eat."
Elder Mu did scarf down the food quickly, and washed everything down with a single drink, before standing up and motioning Bai Qi to get up as well. He raised his hand towards the elder at the other end of the table, and the Elder nodded back, focusing on his parchments once again.
"Let's go," Elder Mu said, taking the stairs down from the platform. Bai Qi followed suit, as Elder Mu walked the length of the dining hall until they reached the end, where Elder Mu pushed open a door and motioned Bai Qi to go through.
"Back to the garden?"
"Yep," Elder Mu said nonchalantly. They walked briskly, following the twisting cobblestone road, until they circled the mage tower, coming into sight with Elder Mu's garden.
"Have you looked into the books I gave you yesterday," Elder Mu asked suddenly.
"Just a bit," Bai Qi replied. " I flipped through some of the pages, though I couldn't make understand most of what I saw."
Elder Mu nodded. "So the boy wonder doesn't know everything."
Bai Qi chuckled. "Is that what they're calling me?"

Finals are over, as I mentioned before. This chapter is unfinished and a bit rushed, mostly because I have been working on some other things in the last few weeks. Some of which have been rewriting the entire outline for this story.

To start, I need to make some drastic changes, things I'm going to be doing over the week. I have been a bit distant from this novel, which I am going to admit, mostly because I had a hard time fleshing out what each chapter was going to be, and I think the biggest problem is because I'm forcing myself to adhere to rules in a fantasy novel, which if you ask me, is probably the stupidest thing I can do.

So I started an entire overhaul. I know I mentioned the last chapter that I was going to westernize the novel sometime in the future, but the problem is that I can't keep with the eastern influences and the rules they have because it's going to force me to rewrite my novel sometime in the future. One example of this is the metal element in Chinese cultures, being part of the 5 main elements. While I like the idea of 5 elements, I think to have wind as a core element is much more important. If I keep at what I'm doing right now, metal is going to end up being a useless element, or an overlooked one, or wind is going to end up being a useless element, forcing me to choose between them. Honestly, wind is much more versatile, and fits more with the idea of a paragon, with metal falling under Earth, no shade intended at the Chinese elements.

Second is the problem with time. When creating a calendar to follow the event's I realized that I didn't really like 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, or 365 days time standard that we have. I mean, just looking at the numbers, to someone else, those might seem random, though I do understand where they come from. And then it hit me. This is a fantasy world. Why do I need to follow rules set for Earth? Base 10 is so much nicer, and just makes sense, so I made a 25 hours a day, 10 days a week, 4 weeks a month, for 10 months, giving us a total of 400 days a year. A much nicer and rounded number, and it's decently close to Earth's rotations, so I can keep the same physics, as well as add a few changes of my own. Also, why be limited to one moon? Two moons are dope. Say hello to Yvnamior, and Yvnamaus, the two moons of this world. Yep. You guys can access the beta calendar here, I made a draft:

Link's gonna be posted on discord, as well as a full list of the changes I'm making. I'm just going to mention the important points. I also realized I've been ignoring the discord, so I'm going to try and interact with the discord a bit more.

Names as well. For now, I'm going to keep the names. Over the summer, I'm going to try and create a phonetic language, so that I can generate names that have meanings, that actually interact with the world. Why have a fantasy world be limited to Chinese culture?

Another small change that I'm making is creating a runic system to stand alongside the system of magic circles. This is going to be a small detail for now, as I had already had the idea, tying the runic system to a group that is already part of the story. For now, the runic symbols will be used to replace the Chinese element characters that some of you guys noticed on the cover of this novel.

In this week and next, I'm going to go back, and slowly edit out the discrepancies in my story. Those that have your notifs on, you'll see the story being updated, you can ignore them for now. When I release the next chapter, I should be finished with the changes I'm making.

Some of you guys on the discord already know that I used calculus to keep numbers realistic, so that should just prove that I want this novel to be something special. I want it to be up there, writing so vivid that you could close your eyes and be there. I know my writing dropped a bit in quality, something that I want to bring up, so that's what this week is going to be as well.

As for what happens after this week. I'm going to try and write a chapter or two a week after this.

Where exactly does is the line between good and evil? After all, it’s up to the storyteller to change the events. Add a little flourish here, and a twist there, and you have a murder seem like it was instigated by the victim. A bit of tweaking here and changing some of the details there, and the classic hero becomes the villain. The whole thing gets thrown under the bus when you consider perspectives. Climbing to the top means crushing the dreams of others, no matter what. 

But this isn’t about that. Sometime, it’s the smaller picture that matters. 

The mortal realm has been the middle ground, the demons under, the heavens above. Though they stay separated, there have always been the unfortunate who  crossed the borders, and saw the world for what it truly is.

This is a story of Bai QI, an unfortunate given a second chance to tread the path of the ultimate magician. Finding himself in a world without memories, powers he never knew he had, and a mystery hidden in his own being, this is the story of survival, of death, of betrayal. This is the story of life, of hope, of power and truth. This is the story of Yin and Yang, of how one cannot exist without the other.

Chapter 6:
I Managed To Grasp







I lost all concept of time in that place, the light spell I had first cast was still going strong without the need for renewal. There were no real signs of any passage of time outside of my need to sleep and eat. The next several 'days' consisted of me waking, eating, and practicing magic until I was exhausted and then sleeping until I woke again. Most of the time I simply fell asleep as soon as I stopped moving. Other times Master talked with me about various ways to clean up my mana usage, giving pointers an how to be more efficient.

It was about the eleventh 'day' that I was able to nearly drain my entire mana pool without feeling like I was going to collapse from exhaustion. Master was quite happy with my rapid development.

"Good good. Now we can start focusing on the really important matters."

I sat down in the chair, I wasn't breathing hard but I certainly felt like I had been running a marathon through the whole Kyoto prefecture. I released my staff, letting it fade away and summoned a glass, using my power to fill it with water and drinking deeply as I listened.

"The Fourth Magic that a Pagemaster must know is Story Magic. This is the magic that brings the stories to life. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to affect it. It is fickle and yet unmovable. It cannot be changed, though it can be diverted or even subverted with the right situation. It is a contradiction and yet it isn't.

The power of Story Magic is that it seeks out things and people that have certain situations happen that allows for events to unfold a certain way, and then it begins to pressure such things to begin the stories it knows to happen. Particularly when those stories feature characters whose names are mere nicknames instead of real ones."

"So like Prince Charming, and Sleeping Beauty, or the Old Witch in the castle?"

"Exactly! They are not actual names but generalizations that the Story Magic can then apply to anyone who fits the description and circumstances. In good news, this means that as long as one knows how to find the story one can be prepared to seal it away.
But in bad news, it means that the story must progress to a certain point so that the story Magic is fully invested in these actors of its tale that it cannot pull away and find a different set of similar circumstances to start over with telling the story."

"Can't we just seal away everything at once?"

Master shook his head. "It's impossible. Each story must be sealed separately, and there is a chance that people in this world are also from the real one as well. Ye overwrote the real world with this one, it doesn't mean that all the people from our world were erased. That and it doesn't help that some stories are based on real-life people. We can't seal them away just because there are stories of them involved with magic."

I sighed and leaned my head back. "This feels really complicated."

"Well, it wouldn't have been this bad if ye hadn't picked the largest genre in creation. Couldn't have chosen medieval or harem fantasy or some subgenre... Had to pick them all."

I lowered my head again in apology, I suppose I really should have thought a little more about that when I had started this huge mess. But it was too late to think about could've and should've.

"So how do we start with all of this then, Master?"

"We'll start with easy ones. Grimm and Aesop have fairly simple tales to work with and should be easy to gather them up quickly."

I made a slight face. Western Fairy tales were not my forte by any means. Most of them I only recall watching D**ney films when I was little and even then I didn't pay attention. "Couldn't we start with Japanese legends?"

"And how many Legends and Tales in Japanese folklore don't involve spirits or gods? Ye don't have the strength or ability to go facing down beings that can wipe the floor with ye without even batting an eye."

I could name a couple that might be simple, but his point was made and I had to acquiesce to it, albeit grudgingly. There were too many that dealt with beings of high power or spirits that might be too hard to seal on the first try. Though there was something we first needed to do.

"So Master… How do we get out of here?"

I stood there dumbfounded as an opening suddenly appeared, looking between master and the open gateway, doing a double take and then a triple. "I thought you couldn't use magic?"

"It's not really magic. It's the power of The Word, and I didn't say I couldn't I just can't interfere with yer story. We can freely travel between time and locations to a small extent to ensure we can be where we need to be. But once we are in a timeline we can't cross back over a timeframe we're already in."

"So no being in two places at the same time."

"Exactly."

Well, I guess it would be too much of a cheat if that was possible. It might have been useful, but on the other hand probably way too confusing to use and remember being in too many places at once. I was kind of getting a headache thinking about it so I quickly stopped.

"Master, what is going to be our first stop?"

"I can feel the Story Magic starting to move out there, Phintibluis Kingdom. The Gingerbread Man is getting ready to come to life here. It's an easy story to seal and give ye some advanced powers to help make things go easier. We can also work on teaching ye how to sense and get a feel for the power of Story Magic."

I nodded looking out at the across the fantasy landscape before my eyes, trees, and hill spanning across the horizon. Though we were surrounded by trees we managed to be settled on top of a fairly large hill that you could make out some of the surroundings near us. Master seemed to know his directions pretty well.

To the north was a long flowing river that divided the kingdom in half stretching out even beyond the kingdoms that bordered either side of this one.,To the south lay the deep forests home of the ancient battlegrounds of Demons and werewolves. east was more forests and the tips of a castle that was likely the capital of this region. And right behind us and further west lay the village and the Dragon Mountains even further beyond that. Far enough away that you could barely make out the peaks of the highest mountains of the range.

"I don't think we're in Kyoto anymore…" I mutter to myself quietly stepping through the gateway and into the open land before us.

The portal closed as soon as Master landed on my shoulder revealing a small village behind us, fortunately, the time of day seemed to be right in the middle of lunchtime. "First thing we need to do is use the spell of rewrite."

I nodded holding out my hand as I had been taught, instead of grasping for my staff or other items I had crafted for use I gripped into the sheen of reality itself. I wondered why this spell was listed as an ability for me, maybe it was just to be a reminder or some special scripting

"|{Riraito shite}|" There was a freeze around us for a brief moment. Bending reality around myself and Master so that we would be considered normal within this part of the world. The villagers would consider me as a traveling magician with his familiar. Vague memories of seeing us before and knowing we were not hostiles to them. This spell wasn't completely infallible according to Master but it was good enough as long as people didn't start to scrutinize why or how they know us too closely.

A useful safeguard and one that seemed could be cast as many times even if the cover was blown to become someone else. Though there were a few exceptions to this rule, I've been warned. "The main characters of the story will recognize you if you aren't careful enough. Especially ones that have true names. Trying to use Rewrite near any of them after you are exposed will only cause more trouble."

I guess another good point about this kind of magic was that I could also blend in more because even if I was a stranger I was also very clearly a foreigner, walking into the village I could see that everyone else was quite plainly European. I was worried for a moment but I could understand everyone fairly well, to my surprise.

"It's the power of The Word. To understand all languages and written words. Especially when you realize how varied each language can be, it just makes it easier for our job to understand." I could certainly get behind. Never having to worry about my broken English ever again? Yes, please! Even for a cheat, I will gladly accept this kind of power. Now if only I could just go back to high school and ace that exam…

"Guten tag, Herr Blue. So nice to see you again." A rather busty woman called to me as I walked past her garden. She was tall, maybe sixteen years old. But she is full of curves for days.Was Europe always this big on having such endowed women? Her hair was soft and curled, even though I didn't recall much in the way of cleanliness in medieval history. I guess this was probably from a poor authorial study, or fantasy magic keeping people clean and healthy...

I half understood she was speaking in German, I guess it made sense if this was Grimm fairy tales we were hunting. It took me a moment longer, staring at her to realize she wasn't calling someone else.

"Errmm Guten tag, Fraulein. You caught me in deep thought just there."

Wow, I even manage to use correct phrases and greetings too?

"Oh, My apologies, what was Herr Blue thinking of?" She smiled at me and shifted herself a little. Certainly giving me a show for my eyes as her body jiggled in the right places. This is so much better than anime… Just what kind of Fairy tale fantasy world did I step into? And do I have to stop it? I am not ashamed to admit I was getting a bit too distracted by her.

A sharp pain cracked the side of my head reflexively making me duck in pain. "We have a job to do first, Herr Blue…" Master growled into my ear. I guess playing My familiar he couldn't be too abusive, but he has a good point.

Right. Work first, play later. But just let me look a little more... Smack. Ow!... Alright, alright….

"Perhaps we can talk about such thoughts I've been having later tonight?" I asked her, trying to put a block between my head and Master's beak. He nipped my hand, insistently while I tried to ignore him just a moment longer.

She giggled slightly and bent down to pull out a weed, though the motions of her hand and body were certainly suggesting something else entirely. "Don't make me wait for too long, Herr Blue."

I'm very very grateful for my wizard robes in this very moment. Trying to not walk away to awkward as I made a promise to do my best to be back later.

"Was that real?" I asked myself quietly.

"Yes and No… It seems this land might be connected to a few ... ehem, other tales. Apparently, one of them involves the feminine gender being quite forward. You didn't rewrite yourself as the Main Character did you?"

I shook my head, trying to not keep glancing back behind me. "No, I did as you said, I just made myself known as a good wizard who travels around the kingdom. I didn't add anything else. Really.."

"No perverted thoughts or being overly heroic?"

"Of course not. At least not consciously… I'm pretty sure I didn't let anything that perverted come out."

"The other option is that the Hero in this tale she belongs looks Japanese."

Thinking on several stories I know this wouldn't be that far fetched a scenario, big breasted girl falling over a hero she just met. My name is Jackson Aion Clades le Fae most call me Starchild for names hold power I am a member of a forgotten race thought myth and fantasy otherwise known as the fae folk we never give out our real or true whole names as names hold power. 
I am also a God due to my parents along with being a member of the titans due to my father which were members of the Olympian pantheon I was to be a uniting force of pantheons due to my immense talent and power among my peers along with being given the supreme tachyon suit which caused angry reactions from some of the other pantheons.

I only came to be due to a marriage alliance between pantheons for a united front against the enemies mixing blood of pantheons had to be preapproved as our powers could be unpredictable and our power limits was indeterminable and depended on the person and how hard they worked at absorbing cosmic energy.

Time has become irrelevant towards me I have seen many rises and falls of empires and heroes along with villains  the history of my people runs deep with pride embedded in my bones I prefer to think of myself as a balanced being between the two on a scale of good or evil.

This is a tale of my rise towards domination and conquest. I wasn't born human neither was I born on earth but I did stay on earth for 10 years before we were all taken I came back here through the void at the age of technology and innovation which was nearly caught up with our time on Alatan but now a days magic was dismissed as fantasy those few descendants of gods and elves and Demi humans could barely use or knew they even had a inkling of power and dismissed it as a trick of the mind.

 I was severely weakened and drained of all mental energy and magic and was dying slowly luckily for me my supreme tachyon suit and internal artificial intelligence was bonded to my very dna structure and soul in a symbiotic relationship this way it carried with me all of my races knowledge and understanding of our worlds. The suit was barely keeping me alive from feeding on my mana/psysic and cosmic energy for time has no meaning inside the void.  

My energy stripped away slowly in the void very little energy could be taken in as I had an average affinity towards it but it seemed to matter little as I walked in the void never aging or growing much for time was irrelevant as I could not count the passage of time nor do I remember much of what I saw. My speciality in magic always lay towards destruction magic along with air and water I had yet to be trained in time and space as father was always busy managing affairs and consulting with my older half brothers Odin and Zeus as he no longer wanted to be a god king now on earth and left it to his older sons.

When I tore threw the void I caused a statewide blackout of power in a alley close to a dumpster near the strip I found myself a shell of who I was I was forced to combine myself with a piece of me a young man who was not truly human and seemed to have some Titan blood Along with traces of Fae blood in him as we lay bleeding from the head in front of me I was found a few hours later and immediately taken to the hospital they thought I was in a coma due to head trauma and the alcohol in my system.

It appeared  I had been mugged and knocked unconscious after being stabbed in a non vital area. But In reality I was remodeling my new body down to the very DNA while trying to keep my looks somewhat the same as not to draw attention and to change over time. This was all in the city that never sleeps Las Vegas Nevada near the Excalibur hotel casino. My new host and body was a semi famous kid of 16 who's father was a  former instate 2x state champion for Palo Panthers who had never missed the post season since 2004 the year was now 2028. Drew Aion Clades was also a ex military marine who now owns most of the real estate business in vegas along with doctor Victoria Antonitte Clades who's considered a Saintess who works at the local hospital. 
At the time the union of the two was quite opposed by both families due to one being a 3rd generation Irishman from Scotland and a black southern bell from the south but was ignored by them both as they still married and had twins a son and daughter one of whom was now laying in a coma who was considered the next best thing in sports and the other considered the next Einstein. 

Little did I know at the time my trip through the void was like a chain reaction for earth my energy signature was like a jolt towards earth instantly causing the lia fáil too awaken and hum throughout Ireland first then onwards toward the rest of the world. 
In time I was not the only Immortal who had crossed over as time wore on more and more of us came threw most of them luckily or unlucky for humanity was not as injured as I was going in and wasn't in a near critical condition. 

Europe as a whole was bathed in a bright flash of light as the claiomh solais escaped its bindings of stone all to seek its rightful wielder it had detected after so many centuries of dormancy with this act I had woken up old monsters and hidden factions that had withdrawn from earth hidden inside their own pocket dimensions of reality. 
The world seemed to come alive again as magic and ki once more seeped throughout the world once more, no more was energy scarce where only parlor tricks could be performed by those humans of secret society's who called themselves wizards a few years later lots of people would develop superpowers from strength, speed, mental abilities and energy control chaos would soon rise as even animals started to evolve and land masses and buildings started appearing out of no where as the earth suddenly started to grow and take back what the shadow realm or the void had once taken with the seals now broken.

While humming back to life while fixing itself from its path of destruction and decay it had finally harnessed the rest of the energy from the forgotten planet that merged with it but never truly released its energy towards helping earth evolve it seemed Mother Earth was also awakening and healing herself.

In front of an audience of twenty men and young men who still haven't found out what they could do with their lives and more excited than children in front of their Christmas presents, a tall, long-legged, brown teenage girl is getting restless in front of the last one (Fatal-Fantasy.)
The teenage girl, hyper concentrated, pulls out her little tongue. With her exorbited eyes, her hand as if connected to her joystick, she skillfully avoids the vicious attack of a sort of giant pig, before waving her little buttocks and counter-attacking by a combo, kick in the stomach, straight to the muzzle and knee bump in it fat chin.

Julian snatches the bundle of coins from the hands of the man in his 40s and he resumes his merry killing in the hogs' stronghold. For him, all This little fries are nothing but easy to chop hamburger components for him. As his fists sink into their skulls, he dives into her thoughts.
As he entered this supermarket, which is nothing out of the ordinary, when he walked through the music department, he was first struck by the names of the artists. He meticulously searched through the shelves, but saw nothing modern. Between the names of bands and artists that were unfamiliar to him, he could see many presentations of musicals with innocent name, which consequently annoyed him deeply.
Lost in that Disney space, where he avoided the cameras, in order to relieve himself of this anger that overwhelmed him, he spat in various places. With his heart beating frantically, wanting to get out of this nightmarish place quickly, when he started to run, those two breasts of more than reasonable size reminded him that from now on, he would have to deal with this pretentious kid's body. 
A little shocked by this naive music department, Julian was still not quite psychologically recovered when, after passing the delicatessen department which froze his little buttocks, he saw the video consoles. Saga, Vintageo, Zony, so many ridiculous names that made him shudder.

Destroying waves of rough-looking monsters and bosses that were easier to break than the usual mobs, he was soon surrounded by fans who for a little (wiggle to her ass), from time to time were happy to pay for his games.
A backward world, mentally challenged men and naive girls, Julian, whose smile couldn't be wider, laughs alone when his elbow, breaks the jaw of a piglet that obstructs his progress. 
The screen of the retro TV, shows already 11:50am. Feeling his belly telling him that a pit stop would be for the best, Julian lets go of his joystick and turns to all these men who are stupidly watching him.

Julian, is a lazy 16-year-old shirker who doesn't really care about anything. Flirtatious, pretentious, mocking, a video game lover, a troll who likes to sow discord wherever he goes and a hater for the fun, his quiet days flow by at the rhythm of his vicious actions. 

This peaceful life, in which he secretly liked to harass his classmates and various acquaintances, was suddenly slightly disrupted when one morning Julian became Julia, 14 years old.

Everyone in the Dragon Soul Continent knew that their world was in a 'round' shape.
However, their concept of 'round' was different from Rhode's perception of a 'globe'. In the legends of the Dragon Soul Continent, this continent was enclosed in a circular, egg-like existence. No matter if one was lifting one's head to the sky or lowering it to the ground beneath one's feet, the sceneries were all 'inside the shell'. Whereas, the 'outside the shell' was filled with chaos, disorder, and destruction. The Mages' historical studies on this world concluded that apart from the surface that they were standing on, there were other Planes of Existence. Other than the underground world and the bottomless abyss, there were the Four Main Elemental Planes of Existence and the so-called Seven Fantasy Boundaries. According to the Mages' research and ancient legends handed down from generation to generation, the Seven Fantasy Boundaries belonged in another dimension of the Dragon Soul Continent. No one was clear of their exact origins and there were two explanations to the Seven Fantasy Boundaries.
One explanation implied that the Seven Fantasy Boundaries branched out beneath the Four Main Elemental Planes of Existence. The other explanation believed that the Seven Fantasy Boundaries were where the Creator Dragon Souls were born. Although there were many different statements regarding this subject, no one had ever stepped into the Seven Fantasy Boundaries. However, a Mage's summoning spell could prove its existence because the summoning spell could summon presences that belonged out of this world. According to the summoned creatures, the world they came from was the Seven Fantasy Boundaries. But no matter what level they were, they couldn't provide further details regarding their world as though they were bound by a certain contract. Some Mages attempted to force the summoned creatures for answers, but as long as the summoned creatures' forbidden explanations triggered their hidden core, their contract would be terminated instantly and they would be sent back. Until now, the only answer that they received regarding the Seven Fantasy Boundaries were the names of each boundary: Shadow Ravine, Silver Ocean, Shade Forest, Fiery Plain, Steel Terra Firma, Heavenly Palace, Forgotten Land.
If one were to view this entire world in the shape of an eggshell, the Four Main Elemental Planes of Existence would be its base while the Seven Fantasy Boundaries would be the pillars to support the roof. Lastly, the roof and walls would be the Five Creator Dragon Souls. All of them formed a firm and substantial barrier to protect the Dragon Soul Continent from the dangerous outside world.
Marlene was an Elemental Mage and she learned about the Seven Fantasy Boundaries in her compulsory academic course. Furthermore, powerful Mages in the school had once created a similar spell to summon a creature from the other dimension to serve himself. But…
"Rhode, that crystal in your hand… links to which Plane of Existence out of the Seven?" Marlene felt uneasy because she had interacted with creatures from the Seven Fantasy Boundaries. Normally, creatures from the Shade Forest and the Heavenly Palace were gentle and reasonable whereas, creatures from the Fiery Plain and Shadow Ravine were extremely dangerous with an aggressive and irritable nature. If possible, Marlene didn't wish to see the Fortress in a tizzy and would want to continue living a peaceful life.
"I'm not too sure. Let's try it out," Rhode paused for a moment before gazing at Christie. Unlike the natives in the game, many players suspected that the Seven Fantasy Boundaries might belong to the Six Deity Wardens' territory. This was particularly so for the players who loved to unearth the game's content and they discovered the similarities between the Seven Fantasy Boundaries and the Six Deity Wardens' territory. These players posted a research report of 10k words on the forums to prove that the Seven Fantasy Boundaries was where the Six Deity Wardens and their masters lived and ruled through a series of data, attributes, and equipment relics. However, as this report was overly complicated and Rhode wasn't a maniac in researching the game's background, he didn't analyze the report clearly.
But if the Seven Fantasy Boundaries really had something to do with the Six Deity Wardens…
Christie didn't seem to act peculiarly at all. Like Anne, Christie looked at the crystal on Rhode's hand with pure curiosity and excitement and it seemed that the little girl wasn't rattled by Rhode and Marlene's conversation. But Rhode had no anticipation of getting any answers from Christie, so he turned his gaze from the little girl to the crystal instead. Then, he shut his eyes and activated the Construction Menu.
[Detected the Fantasy Key. Confirm to build the path that links to the Plane of Existence?]
Yes.
Rhode nodded slightly and opened his eyes.
The crystal suspended gradually and floated to the dome above the hall. At this moment, everyone stopped their discussions and focused their attention on the beautiful crystal glittering under the sunlight that spilled through the dome.
Golden light rays flashed from the complex and exquisite murals at the edge of the dome. The vertices on the two segments of the dome shone with bright, dazzling magical radiance. They formed two magical lines and linked with the crystal floating in the middle of the dome. The magical lines propelled and the crystal began to move closer to the mural.
Marlene puckered her brows slightly.
This wasn't the first time that she had observed this mural. Until this moment, she had never realized that this mural was indeed something special. The sleek stone wall was engraved with patterns of huge trees that almost extended to the vertex of the dome. There were seven remarkably fine circles above the treetop sand the circles seemed as though incomplete carvings of flower buds on the branches. However, Marlene discovered that the seven circles seemed to accommodate the crystal like it was all pre-planned.
Marlene gaped but closed her mouth hurriedly after noticing the crowd around her. She had suspected that this Fortress wasn't that simple. Even though Rhode didn't tell her the truth, Marlene realized this by herself because she wasn't as brainless as the mercenaries that lived day by day. But everything now was just… Exactly the same as the prophecy.
Marlene closed her eyes while placing her palms on her chest.
Under the guidance of the magical lines, the crystal slowly shifted to the circle gap at the top of the mural. A glaring magical radiance shone and in the blink of an eye, the crystal blended in with the mural perfectly as though it belonged there from the very start.
"—" From the top of the mural, a blue radiance shone and descended straight into the ground. At the same time, ritual circles emerged on the floor of the plain hall while releasing a cold aura.
The aura was so bone-chilling that even Rhode shivered. He changed his position and protected Christie while Anne squatted down and hugged the little girl hurriedly. On the other hand, Marlene and Lize turned their backs against the ice-cold aura with their eyes closed while Gillian stood on the same spot proudly. Rhode was unsure if it was because of her pride as the Fire Elemental Lord or she didn't actually need to worry about such a low standard of a chilly aura.
Soon, the ground froze thinly and quickly disappeared along with the cold aura. When everyone opened their eyes, they discovered a stranger standing before them.
"Nice to meet you, my Master." A crisp voice sounded as though a stream flowing through the deep mountains and floating ice on the surface of the ocean. There were no emotions nor any cadence in her tone as though one was facing a tombstone covered with hoar frost.
It was a young lady composed of ice and snow, like a beautifully crafted ice sculpture. Her fair, snowy cheeks reflected her baby-blue eyes clearly while the brilliance that gleamed in her pupils belonged to beings from other dimensions. Her adorable face represented her innocence, but her contradictory, cold, and indifferent expression brought out a unique, mature charm.
The young lady's upper body was no different from a human being's. However, it was entirely different from her waist down. The lines were like the ruffles of the evening gowns worn by the noble ladies at a ball. But, with a closer look, these ruffles that formed the skirt actually blended perfectly with her legs. Or perhaps, there wasn't too much of a difference. Both her legs and her long hair were also the product of slim, tentacle-like strands. And even when the young lady was standing still, her hair would still gently twist, curl, and reveal the suckers within.
"Master, it seems that you just can't stop summoning these impressive creatures." Gillian giggled while Rhode shrugged his shoulders and turned to the young lady.
"You are…" Rhode asked.
"You can call me Agatha, Master." The young lady bowed. However, even though her tone was highly respectful, her ice-cold facial expression didn't change at all. Moreover, there was not the slightest cadence in her tone as though she were plainly reading a line of dialogue.
The young ladies around Rhode began to whisper from ear to ear.
"Woah, it's so cold. Anne can't take it anymore," Anne was the first amongst the young ladies to break the silence. She glanced at Agatha secretly before rubbing her arms for warmth. "This sister doesn't have any expression at all, just like Leader."
"… I think… She is very beautiful…" Christie commented with a smile as she scanned Agatha curiously while folding her tiny arms.
"She… doesn't seem to be a human?" Lize's concern seemed to be much more essential.
"If I'm not mistaken, she must be an Ocean Elf." Marlene turned her gaze from the self-twisting tentacle-looking hair on the young lady and answered softly. Apart from Rhode, Marlene had the most say when it came to questions about the magical creatures.
"Ocean Elf… Sister Marlene, are you saying that… She is a different kind of Elf?" Anne widened her eyes in astonishment before turning around once more to scan Agatha from her head to 'toe'. "But… She looks so different from all the Elves Anne has seen."
"I'm not too sure about this either…" Marlene hesitated unusually but continued to explain after a few moments. "But I have read one of the books in my school's collections. Rumor has it that in ancient times, some Elves left the continent and lived in the other Planes of Existence. We don't know how they managed to leave, but we do know that the Elves transformed themselves in order to adapt to the living conditions in the Planes of Existence. I think…" Marlene paused and stole a glance at the Ocean Elf. She observed the eight tentacles supporting her body that seemed as though a noble lady's dress and the hair ends that were twisting and turning by themselves. "… Maybe, Miss Agatha is really one of those Ocean Elves."
"Woah…" Anne cried out in surprise as though she understood what Marlene had explained. However, she exposed herself with her next remark immediately. "That sounds awesome."
"…" Marlene rolled her eyes upon hearing Anne's typical, innocent answer. She turned around and gazed at the exquisite mural that had returned to its original state. The colorful radiances were gone and the crystal had blended into it perfectly. But this time, Marlene's gaze was totally different.
"Nessingemlce…" she mumbled softly.

During this period, Rhode tries his best to alleviate his emotional pain through gaming, but alas, his life shatters once more when he heard his parents perish in a plane crash.

A month after the incident, he made a decision to quit the game and return to the real world. But just before that, as a final farewell, Rhode decides to fight the most powerful BOSS in the game with his guildmates. In the end, he defeats the BOSS at the expense of his avatar's life. Rhode smiles as his avatar dissipates in a beam of light. However, instead of respawning at the usual platform...

Rhode shot up and stared at the unfamiliar ceiling.

And thus, a player who had been creating legends in the game for three eras disappeared just like that...

I'm floating in this endless void of white where am I? I do not know. I had a name but it's long been faded away in this endless passage of time. 

All I can see is this loading bar [ 99.999996% completion to gift.]

 I guess maybe this is my purpose it's to find out what this gift is. (Many thousands of years go by as I float into an endless distance but one day it actually hit 100%)

The screen in front of me changed and had two words [ Open Me ] I hit it as fast as i could and the next thing I noticed is darkness finally darkness.

But then there was a voice ( "hmm status! no maybe "system activate" that goddess said that I would be reborn with a powerful gift "Where is it") 

A new set of words appeared before my eyes [ Except Host ] or [ Decline Host ]

When i hit the except button then 3 new tabs showed up they were [ Hosts Status ] [ Quest Builder ] and lastly [ Inheritance Store ].

I hit first [ Hosts Status ]...

When I hit the hosts status button all the knowledge I needed to understand it flew into my head. Wanting to know more I clicked [ Quest Builder ]

Once opened 3 option tabs showed up [ Pre Made Quests ] [ Custom Quests ] and lastly [ Main quests ].

Once i figured out what the quest builder is i hit [ Pre Made Quests ] and a list of Quests were given that all aimed at Conner getting stronger or used to the new world. 

There were three slots where i could drag those quests into i decided to go with the first 3 quests recommended and then hit escape coming back to the Menu screen. 

I choice the last thing on the menu the [ Inheritance store ]...

Then a giant tree of endless possibilities and names came up in front of me. In the right hand corner there was a icon of a glowing golden orb with a 3 next to it.

I hovered over it with my finger and a box with words came up...
[This is the indicator of the amount of inheritance points you have to spend.]

I went back down to the bottom of the tree were there were 3 boxes of skills to chose from the first was...

[Skill: status screen]
[Gives the host of the inheritance the ability to call out the word "Status" and a screen will appear that states there Name, Age, Level and 3 most basic stats End, Str, Int.] {Costs 3 pts)

The second was...

[Skill: One Random low level bloodline]
[Gives host of the system a random 1 star bloodline the bloodlines will have minor effects with the best having a 3.5 improvement to potential.] {Costs 2 pts)

and lastly...

[Skill: Fast Growth ]
[This is a skill that allows the host to speed up the time needed to comprehend skills/abilities by 10%] {Cost 5 pts)

Thinking back to what i heard, and remembering the host say something about a "status"  i chose option 1 after i spent my points i hit the exit button.

A new option appeared on the menu [ link to host ] the rest of the options grayed out and only this one was left. learning from previous experience's I hovered my index finger over the option.

[link to host means that you have finished all your preparations with the host and will bind to the hosts soul until there death.]

taking a deep breath I thought it can't be worse then the void so why not...

{ Pov change }

Conner waking up looked around and seeing that there was a mid evil/fantasy looking village in the distance smiled and said "Yes I'm in a fantasy world that no good for nothing goddess didn't lie to me." 

looking down he noticed that he was naked "Maybe I spoke to soon!" he replied "Now if I remember correctly she promised me a clinch Isekai power."

"hmm status! no maybe "system activate" that goddess said that I would be reborn with a powerful gift "Where is it?"

Conner started to freak out when he realized he may have nothing "Dont get me wrong going to a fantasy world is fun and all but without any advantages my life could be a goner at any time... before Conner could finish his rant a screen popped up in front of him.

Do you except the binding of the inheritance? [ yes ] or [ No ]

Seeing this Conner's grin reached a never before seen height before without a second thought he hit the [ yes ] button.

and thus begins our story...

I bet you have heard of stories where you die and get some wishes or a powerful system well that was not my fate. When I was human I changed a lot of peoples lives and I guess that's my purpose evan after my death if Im not the op character I'm the one who makes them im the inheratence.
