Something about the Young Master words made Dr. Piper tensed up. Edgy. The confidence she brought in with her when she entered the room seemed to have tumbled down in an instant. 

"Something like what young master?" She asked in puzzlement as her perfectly shaped brows wrinkled. Did the young master knew she was all faking it? Was he trying to make her confess? 

"I don't understand what you mean" confused and in panicky she added.

Piper's answer made Darryl frowned in consternation and made him a little bewildered. Doctor Piper's reaction seemed to be unflawed and natural, makes him think that she didn't have any idea at all.

But was she not the one who made the cure?

Certainly, she must know what he was talking about.

But the female doctor seemed to have no idea at all.

Helpless, Dr. Piper turned to Dr. Halsey who was also appalled of the young master's inquiry. She was begging his senior to help her get through it. Her eyes were glimmering worriedly asking the latter to do something or rather speak something to her redemption. 

"Young master…what exactly are you asking?" Dr. Halsey spoke in time just as he captured Dr. Piper's rising fright.

"The horses' treatment…" Darryl started as his eyes narrowed dangerously at Dr. Piper "…they were not just pure hygiene thing"

"I already told you young master, that is all what I did" Doctor Piper said flatly, unamused by the young master's unexpected accusation. Seemed that the rumors about the Lagdameo heir were all true, he cannot be easily swayed, and she found him too speculative and mistrusting.

She was insulted really. To say the least.

 "I run a test to the blood samples of the healed horses" The young master spilled on as he levelled unto Dr. Piper's gaze.

"....and?" Dr. Piper wondered as uncertainty clouded her features. Darryl didn't answer immediately, instead he stared at the female doctor quietly scrutinizing her. However, for Dr. Piper, as the young master's silence stretches on, her stomach twist in her guts.

 'What did the young master find? She didn't do anything, so it's impossible he'll find something'

The young master's demeanor toward her only aggravated the complexity she felt. She certainly didn't enjoy the pride that the young master takes in her performance in their operations. She was well used to the undivided confidence she had being the great Piper Xu and was hoping for some acknowledgement from him yet, ever since she stepped into this room, the young master had served her nothing but all suspicion and mistrust.

Soon, Darryl had Manager Song disseminate to the doctors the report files he had with him. As soon as the doctors take hold of one, they each scrutinized it immediately.

Piper Xu on the other hand was a little reluctant when Manager Song handed her one of those, afraid that the information contained therein will be too hard for her to take in. 

"The result showed that the horses developed an antibody that fought against the infections" Darryl verbalize the content of it and looked toward Farmer Su's direction, giving him a sign to take over.

"These antibodies is not something we gain from physical maintenance of the horses" Farmer Su continued "They are alien to the horses biological make-up...meaning—

"Meaning they were either injected or drank by the horses, right?" Dr. Halsey cut him by his conclusion.

"Precisely" The Farmer answered without doubt.

Dr. Halsey turned toward Dr. Piper who refused to withdraw her face from the papers that she had in her hand. Either she was avoiding Dr. Halsey reproaching eyes or not, one could not tell. But Doctor Halsey looked at her anyway, with what looked like disappointment or disgust.

He was very aware of Dr. Pipers work ethics, but he didn't mind it because she was a promising doctor and the last few days, she had shown him extraordinary capabilities that deserved some rewards. However, he didn't expect this move from her. 

So, she hid away the cure and pretended the treatment was some tending standards only?

For what reason?

"Dr. Piper what thing did you feed off the horses?" Dr. Halsey started probing her.

"Dr. Halsey... it's just some...I mean" Caught up with the situation, she couldn't make up her words. " I have my reasons for not telling it to the team"

"Reasons? after all this time—" Dr. Halsey wanted to chide on her, but Farmer Su interjected.

"Please doctor Halsey, let's hear her out" 

Dr. Piper settled some lump on her throat and composed her once confident self. She was real determined to redeem herself, no matter what it takes. She can't give up now especially in front of the young master.

The reports only proved that something was injected in the horses that healed them. And that 'thing' even though she doesn't have any idea of what that was—was something they thought she made. So basically, what Dr. Halsey was mad about was the fact that she did not reveal to everyone that she was using that 'thing'.

"My formula for the cure isn't perfect yet. I myself is still having doubts on it. The moment I tried it with the horses, it was out of desperation because we are losing all hopes. I didn't expect them to work. Right now, I'm still trying to develop it further to make it perfect—a work in progress, that's why I haven't shared it with the team yet. Also rooting on the horses' hygiene is part of the treatment that's why I implemented it with the team" she explained in the most believable way she could. 

"…Please Dr. Halsey, don't take this on me. I cannot let the team use something that is still undeveloped…" She spoked with so much dismay in her voice. How could anyone blame her on this? 

"But Dr. Piper, you should have at least told me" Dr. Halsey maintained, having not moved on from Dr. Piper's blunder. "Then we should have not gone blind over this whole operation"

Dr. Halsey was aware of how his whole team looked untrustworthy in the young master's eyes as of the moment. So instead on lecturing Dr. Piper further, he went on apologizing to the youngblood who was watching all the drama patiently.
"Young master, I apologize for all of these. I'll make sure this will never happen again" he bowed down apologetically and shamed faced.

"I certainly hope it will not" Darryl answered in a neutral voice as if nothing big had just happened. A minute later he turned to Dr. Piper whose face was sour-looking "Dr. Piper you are well aware that this horse dilemma needs to end right away, right?"

"Yes, young master"

"Good" He said in rush "Then you won't mind me looking into your formula to help you develop it, don't you?"

Dr. Piper clamped her jaw shut and right then she can do nothing but nod. For now, she will just pretend that she had all those that was expected of her. Her pride hurt deep today, she can't afford to bleed a little more. 

So, the little dramatic meeting ended up with less tension that what was once been. Dr. Halsey assured the young master that the formula will be handed to him immediately and Dr. Piper made a satisfying exit making everyone believe she still deserve the title "The great Piper Xu", although she would end up the rest of the days making a fake formula to hand on to Lagdameo heir.

Naruto and Hinata follow Doctor Halsey, finally arrive at the room that doctor Halsey stop,"'this will be your test room," said she to them,"ano what is this test room doctor Halsey?" asks Hinata in brick voice to doctor Halsey," the test room is for you to since you are unique one, which surprisingly you are human we don't know about you two, and then you are human enough to me "said Doctor Halsey.
They both nod," oh before I go beware of ONI !" said doctor Halsey with a low voice, which surprising Naruto since he understood UEG language rather than Hinata who having difficulties with what doctor Halsey said, Naruto begins to tell Hinata what she said which make Hinata nervous and scare but the scare she doesn't to exposes about it.
"Before we begin the experiment about our second contact I like to introduce my self my name is doctor Halsey and beside me is Rear Admiral Antonio Bandero, and Vice Admiral Michael Stanforth," said Doctor Hasley introduces himself and others watching or examined the result," let's begin experiment Naruto since you can understand our language I want you to help Hinata to translate is that clear" order Doctor Halsey in a serious tone.

Sound three of Naruto Shadow begin to disappear Naruto begin using his kunai to attack Hinata, Hinata dodges the kunai and then begin using his explosive kunai to attack Hinata, Hinata sees the explosive kunai and begins to dodge it, Booom the sound of explosive kunai Hinata sees naruto on left his side, Hinata attacks him but bush, that's was his shadow clone naruto begin to attack Hinata on the back and then Hinata defense itself from naruto attack on the close you think Hinata lose but if you closely sou see Hinata use this opportunity to use his eight triagram and then bush.
That was Naruto clone, and then "Rasengan" shout Naruto as his arm Rasengan on Hinata luckily Hinata dodge Rasengan by jumping it back.
"That enough" instruct Docter Halsey, Naruto stop and then translate it to Hinata about the situation and then they both stop.
Hasley and the other discuss what they see about this.
"Do you think we can use them in the spartan Program?" Said Docter Halsey, the two begin to argue with each other but then "Gentlement can we talk in manner please" Interrupted Halsey to they both begin to calm "I think this will become interested since we don't know them or their species" said Stanforth," I agree with you we don't know about them but if they were willing is okay" said Antonio.
"Okay then but we must keep this secret we don't want people to know we have another first contact with their species, I want this to keep secret especially another branch of oni only section 3, few other people on other section," said Docter Halsey to them both they both agree and then they when to test another strength test but not duel but to show some power.
Naruto begins using his Kage Bunshin and some of his power like Rasengan and Summoning Jutsu which is Summoning Jutsu surprised it they three both and then Hinata who using his byakugan on dummy target to attack which make some both three impressed what Hinata using what they saw the target will be paralyzed if the attack on the human on close combat.
Docter Halsey enters the room and meets them both and then tells them that the test is over they can rest from they exhausted and then they both go to the room and sleep.

After the battle of the dead valley and retrieving Sasuke, Naruto has been banished by the council and the elder by the vote now without his friend betrayed him except Hinata because his love him Naruto goes to wave country and get the boat from Tazuna to go to unknown island there they come with unimaginable he sees
 

[Storm 20: Earthquake?]



It was late at night. Daniel and Lakis are currently on the sofa inside their room in the villa. Lakis is sitting on Daniel's lap, facing him, his arms wrapped around Daniel's neck, their lips connected to each other.

Volts of electricity shook Lakis to the very core. He felt that he can't live without this electrifying feelings anymore. It feels so good, it's addicting.

"Fnck.. I'm sorry.. I was too excited.. I don't think I can stop now. Is it unbearable? Should I pull it out?" Oliver is unwilling, but he can't bear the thought of him hurting Halsey just because of his desires.

Halsey wrapped his legs around Oliver's waist, "N-no.. D-dont pull out.. Let me.. just.. L-let me get use to it for little while.." 

"Okay." Oliver started to nimble on Halsey's neck as a distraction to stop himself from moving.

"Oliver, I really like you." Halsey whispered

Oliver immediately get into action.

As Oliver continued to rummage him from behind, another round of explosion occurred at Halsey's front, draining all of his remaining energy. Halsey felt limp, he lost all strength.

"Almost there.." Oliver continue to thrusts desperately, more heavily each time. His hold on Halsey's legs becoming more forceful with every thrusts.

"Haaaa~" Oliver breathed and Halsey felt his delicious warmth filled him inside.

Heavy breathing filled the room as they both tried to catch their breaths.

"I'm sorry. Are you alright? I tried not be rough but..." he whispered apologetically

"I-I'm alright." Halsey

Oliver's red eyes glows like a curious beast in the dark as he showered Halsey's neck and shoulder with small kisses. He lingered inside him, unwilling to part their bodies that had become one.

"I love you, Halsey." He whispered on Halsey's ears

"I love you too, Oliver."

Y/n (pov): I was sleeping when someone come from the window I tried to scream but he grapped me. I  screamed for help, but he take me and we jumped from the window disappearing. We arrived to a dark place. It was so dark I can't even see any small light. That man pushed me to the floor. I was really frightened and scared. I feel like I will die. I hugged my legs and took to cry in silent.

Namjoon: What can we do now?
Jin: Attack on them.
Namjoon: Jin it's not that easy, First the red devils is more strong than us second and this is the important your father is with them and of course he will have gurds. We should think first.
Jin: What do you mean? We can't save y/n....TELL ME.
Hosek: Calm down jin. Namjoon is thinking with us.
Jin: I need to attack them now. 
Jungguk: But How?
Jin: To bring our powers together it will be more strong.
Jungguk: wait, what about y/n's power?
Jin: we can try that too.
Namjoon: But we don't know how that power will appear and it might be danger for both of us. And it might be danger in y/n too.
Jin: Okay now, we will sneak and we will be like one of them and know where they put y/n and if there is a fight we will fight with them.

Y/n (pov): I was sitting in this dark room alone when I heard the door opened suddenly the room turned to red lights and there's a flame in each corner. What's happening? A yellow hair girl came she was smirking at me then she grapped my hands and put handcuffs on them. Then a girl or we can say a woman with foreign features and her short hair. Yes she is halsey who met me in the library. What? Iam with the red devils....

Halsey: Stop thinking babe. You are dead, don't think alot.
Y/n: What do you mean?
Halsey: *holding your chin and smirks* your power is mine now, no one can take you from me.

*suddenly mr.kim came*

Mr.kim: Oh, yes. Now kill her I want my world.
Halsey: *smirks to soojin* as you like.

                THIRD PERSON (POV)

Soojin pulled her claws out behind his back and stabbed his neck. You were freezing in your place. Your eyes went wide from this scene his blood is all over the floor. Both Halsey and soojin smirks like its normal to them.

Halsey: Now you have your world, be happy.
Soojin: *smirks* 
Halsey: Now, back to you.
Y/n: *frightened look* Ha, you will do with me that.
Halsey: *laugh* No babe it will be worth. 
Y/n: *Frightened*
Halsey: Before I will kill You, I want to tell you something. You are really beautiful like loona, I didn't think that you will be like her that much but both of you were dead now.
Y/n: loona?

Y/n: Mamy, give me a hug.
Loona: *pure smile* come on my love.
Y/n: Your hug is so warm.
David: And what about me?

Suddenly jin,Namjoon,hosek and jungguk came into the room. Halsey looked at them with evil look then to soojin to take care of you.

Halsey: I wanted this fight from the beginning. 
Jin: hosek Namjoon with me.

*And they started the fight while jungguk ran to soojin he fought with her untill his claws stabbed in her stomach, The fight between halsey and jin was very violent. Jimin joined too*

Jungguk: hurry y/n hurry.
Halsey: jimin the power.
Jin: hosek Namjoon with jungguk.
Hosek: But-
Jin: NOW *avoiding halsey's blows*

*They are all fight together. You are afraid. Jimin defeated jungguk, Namjoon and hosek and they were fell on the ground. Jin was fighting with all his strength, but he was bleeding all over his body and then he fell to the ground too. Now it was your turn. halsey returned to you with smirk and then she hold you from your neck and raised you up to the top*

Halsey: *crazy laugh* you are now mine. All this world  will destroy *hold your neck strongly*
Y/n: *suffocating* please I will die.

*She pushed you into the wall and still hold your neck to take your power*

Halsey: Yes, babe come to me.

*Suddenly from your heart there's a light is getting bigger and bigger it's your power. It's helping you. It remained to be bigger untill halsey hands couldn't bear the pain you were so strong. Your eyes turned into light you were flying, your voice has changed*

Toa rose and a guard name mace was strolling in the street of elysium city. A small town where he grew up on. He didn't have that many friends growing up, toa was mostly not that social.

By the time he was done with middle school, he started working in the elysium library. People in elysium wonder why he always likes to wear clothes from the 21st century, but he does not care about their opinion, cause he feels like all the people wear this time is white, looking like some people who never left the church.

 Toa has this feeling that his life was gonna change once he passed all the tests halsey is gonna put him back in infinity.

Arriving in his apartment. "Alright, guys just wait here. I'm just gonna get a few things," said toa as he went inside.

"Hey, Rose. Why do you think halsey is gonna put him through next?" asked mace.

"All I know is when we get back, halsey will just let us all know once arrived there" responded rose.

"Well whatever it is, I hope he doesn't break any other records," said mace.

"What afraid he'll beat yours," Rose teased him.

"No!" he answered back.

After a few moments toa came back out with two duffel bag's the size of a stool, carrying in his shoulders as a pack back. "Sorry it took you guys to wait for me," said a delighted toa.

"What else is next?" asked mace.

"To my work. I need to say some goodbyes to my boss," replied toa.

"Alright, we'll go there. once after that. We will be heading back," spoke rose as she walked past the two.

Toa looked at mace thinking if he said anything to her while he was gone. "What! I didn't do anything," let out mace.

[Elysium library]

Toa had been in and out through this place, he went ahead and picked up his other stuff in the library.

"Why do you need all that for?" asked mace.

"Oh I just wanted to clear some things with my boss, saying some goodbyes to the elders," replied toa.

After saying his goodbyes toa and the other two went to the park to take a break, to give rose and mace some rest for their legs tiring out.

They see some people walking past by them playing with their children. Toa saw some kids falling from being kicked by another. He guessed they were playing king of the hill.

But with a few injuries. And looking even further, one kid looks to be winning their game as he stood on top as the only one. "Watch your back!" shouted toa. The 5-year-old kid ducked, as an incoming fist missed his head. Then he kicked the intruder on his stomach sending him all the way down to the floor.

The kid gave toa a weird look then yelled. "Thanks," and went back to dealing with the others.

"Had you ever played king of the hill, toa?" asked maced.

"Well to answer you, not much since I keep giving the kids back in the day injuries, due to my strength. So I kept dodging them as best as I could. It was much better than fighting back since I didn't wanna hurt any of them on accident," answered toa.

"Well come on ladies, we ain't gonna wait for all-day for your stories," spoke rose. 

"You heard her, let's go," said toa getting back up.

[Infinity. 7:15 am. Tuesday] 

It was now a strength test for toa. He sat down while trying to put on his boots. "Tell me again why im putting on these boots. It feels like im wearing a 90pound weight," said toa.

"Cause we'll be landing another part of eridanus. From there on you'll begin. Now put on this weighted vest," spoke halsey.

"Alright. Hey I'll do it myself," said toa taking the weighted armor.

"Captain Lopez. Please send him off to his next course," told halsey.

Captain Lopez and toa landed back in eridanus in the middle of the jungle. And long their walk toa was introduced to his next training course. This one wasn't as difficult as the first one, since there isn't any saws and flames.

Spotting the white flag this time is tied to the highest tree he can see. (The tree is only 25ft. since they are in the jungle, im just gonna say 25ft tree due to them being in the jungle)

Realizing he has to go underwater cause of the weighted clothes and armor he's wearing.

"Alright ill be back," said toa. 

Taking a deep breath he jumped underwater. Toa opened his eyes as he could see the view of the lake. Fishes swimming passed him, same with another sea life. And eel came swimming around his head. Toa smacked it away from him.

Another 20 steps and toa has been holding his breath for the last 9-minutes. 

"How long do you think he can hold his breath?" asked mace.

Halsey didn't expect toa to just jump into the water. She and the others got nervous for him. Toa has been underwater for 15 minutes now.

The first thing that popped up from the water was toa's head with a sea of weeds on his head and shoulders. Everyone was stupified by toa bold decision.

Picking off a few seaweeds from his clothes. Toa saw that he got three more tasks ahead of him.

From where he was standing there was no other way to the other side. He took a few steps back. And run as fast as he could and jumped he almost made it to the other side, missing his footsteps while falling.

Toa clamped his hands into big vines trying not to break it on accident. Now that he's stuck in this situation. 

~Man, I gotta figure a way out of here~

Toa grabbed another vine, simply trying to not make a mistake. It may look easy from your point of view. Imagined you have to rock climb with weighted armor that weighs almost a hundred pounds, hoping not to fall flat.

"How is he even doing this?" exclaimed an impressed mace.

Everyone was shocked by toa's determination, some of them even admitted that toa got heart. While halsey was still focusing on him as she smiled.

Feeling like this was a good exercise for himself, But hey toa wasn't complaining about it. ~I gotta admitted this is some hellish training~ 

Getting up from the last climbing. Toa breathed in and out. "Now that I got 2-more left. onto the next one," muttered toa.

Now his next task was a steep hill. The bad thing about it was that it's raining hard while he going through the latest tasks. crouching down, he stuck his finger into the mud, to see how he'll have to go up to the end of the hill.

"Okay, I can do this," said toa. 

He punched his fist into the mud, making sure he doesn't slip down the hill. It wasn't that hard for him. But if it was any other people than him. He won't be surprised if they keep on trying to run their way up to the hill while slipping down over and over again.

Finishing by climbing his way up the muddy slippery hill. Toa last task was to climb the tree so he could get the flag.

Seeing that his a wet and slippery due to the raining he had to rethink this over again on how to climb the 15-foot-tree. 

Coming up with a solution. Toa took off his shirt showing his bulky physique. (Think of the scene where after superman A.K.A man of steel took some clothes after saving some people in the oil rig, you'll see what I mean)

Toa wrapped his shirt around the tree as he used his feet to push his way up onto the flag. He had to stop after another climb. He looked down from his point of view, he must be 12-feet high now. Toa took another deep breath and continued climbing up. with the weight of the armor, he had some difficulty trying not to fall.

Now that he reached 19-feet. His heart was beating fast. But chose to breathe in and out to slow the heartbeat. He wasn't scared of the height. Cause of the weighted armor toa had to be strong due to this vigorous training.

Reaching 25ft now. Toa now had to climb the big branch across to the flag. Snatching the flag while waving it around. Toa was proud of himself for doing this, no matter how hard it was. Now he had to climb his way back down.

*SHIT* 

He was irritated cause he let go of his shirt when he arrived up here. Forgetting he had a flag in his hands. Toa used it to climb back down.

By the time his leg touched the ground. Toa turned around startled by halsey and the others standing there.

"One question. You guys are getting me a new shirt. Here I believe this belongs to you madam" said toa, giving the tattered flag to halsey.

"Good job mister toa. I'm very glad you have passed the second test," spoke halsey.

Everyone was very impressed by toa hellish training. Some of them admired his way of pushing himself even further. Some of the woman staff members got distracted by his physique.

"That son was some good ass training. I'm surprised you didn't fall on your ass," said captain lopez.

"Thank you, sir," said toa as he saluted him as a sign of respect.

After taking a hot shower toa went to meet up with halsey.

"Mam. You called for me," said toa.

"Take a seat mister toa," said halsey.

"Yes, mam," said toa.

"I'm very impressed with your training toa. As you can see. The training I've put you through. Was only a way to see if you'll drop out. I didn't expect you to give it you're all. But after what I've seen, I think you're ready for the 3rd test," added halsey.

"And that is?" said toa.

"The spartan augmentation. Let me explain it for you, It is a procedure, where you'll have to go through substantial pain. It may be very dangerous for someone young, but after seeing what you can do. Which I think isn't all of it. You toa will be the first of the spartan 2's," exalted halsey.

Toa had to think about the augmentation. He had already read through it during his stay in infinity. Now he would become the first of the Spartan 2's.

And the first augmentation started in the year 2515. Mark 1, was oni's first experiments powered with an exoskeleton. The bad news is they failed.

Certain that he would just follow his guts and agreed with halsey.

"Alright ill accept your statements on this. When will it start?" toa asked

"On Friday. We still have to finish a few stuff based on the DNA. Cause according to my calculation, you'll be better than your original self," exclaimed halsey. 

Halsey other assistance came in waiting for her to finish.

After the long waited talk with halsey and her teams, toa left to go workout in the gym.

Lifting a few dumbells after dumbells. Toa notices 5-Marines entering the gym, he was done after a few sets, while putting the weights down. One of the marines pumped him in the shoulder as they passed him.

"Hey, bitch! why don't you say sorry, next time you passed them," yelled toa.

Marine 1: What did you call me short stuff?"

"I said your momma is so old, when she talks she breathes dust," said toa.

All five of them circled toa trying to see if he was scared. Toa scoffed at them, He knew the one with the blonde hair, would throw the first hand. 

Catching his fist in the palm of his hand. Toa headbutted him, as the guy got sent crashing to his friends. Toa blocked another hit with his elbow. The attacker made a mistake as toa kicked him in the jewels. 

Toa was about to beat the other two when captain lopez showed up. "That's enough soldier!" commanded lopez. 

Toa and the marines saluted him as soon as he showed up.

"Mister toa excused yourself out of here," said lopez. "Yes sir," toa saluted and left.

"You five have better get your shit together and get out of here marines!" demanded lopez.

Halsey was watching through the screen as she smiled. ~If I hadn't stop him, he would've put those five in cry sleep for long~

It's passed 24-hours and now it's thursday, toa had been with chief petty officer mendez. Captain lopez brother. Since captain lopez was busy with other official work.

Toa has been sparing with other marines after being trained by officer mendez.

["Toa report to the office," said rose through the speaker.

"You asked for me, mam?"

"Mister toa. I have received news that the machine and the work for your augmentation has been done. You will be escorted by officer chief mendez there," said halsey.

Toa arrived at where he'll begin his augmentation. He doesn't know what will happen, but one thing for sure is, it'll be either painful or not.

The surgeons strapped his legs and arm for precaution. Halsey and the others were observing through the monitor. 

["Alright, begin the simulation," said halsey.

One of the surgeons followed her order and started typing down. "Yes, mam. initiating the simulation.

After a second, two metal needles sticked both toa's left and right arms, in his tendons.
Then he felt the machine injecting a liquid inside his arms. When it entered his bloodstream. Toa felt the pain flow past his arms to his biceps. 

The pain feels like when you messed with a queen bee, her army would sting you with a million stingers. And the good thing is, he wasn't showing any sign of painful expression on his face. Only clutching his fist.

Then there was the next thing. As a machine used a laser beam cutting in his forearms. While letting them do the work. Toa had to lower his heartbeat by breathing in and out, so he won't scream out during this severe pain.

"It's amazing, that even if he's in pain. He still manages to control himself, while pushing through the simulation," spoke rose.

"That's cause I know he would pass everything we throw at him. He is the perfect subject for the augmentation," said replied halsey.

Mace and rose, even petty officer mendez was a little concerned for toa. Everyone walked down to the corridor to where toa was being helped up after his simulation.

After the simulation, toa don't know how to feel now. I'm mean he felt stronger better than before. He stood up when halsey and the others arrived.

"Mr toa, how are you feeling now?" asked halsey.

"I feel different mam," while he moved his arms around as he stretches.

"Well, that's good to hear. Tomorrow you'll be sent to a mission with other marines, to see how you'll work in action spartan-005," said halsey.

Toa stood up while still feeling a little groggy, he grabbed onto something, as pulled his hand back up. A metal tray with his handprint on it.

"Woah! look at this," said toa. He showed it to everyone.

"That's one of your abilities. including Super-human-strength," told halsey.

Petty officer mendez arrived after everyone. "Alright spartan 005, get your ass moving we ain't got all day to be dazing at you, now!" yelled Mendez.

Toa quickly saluted him, forgetting being dizzy. "Sir yes sir," toa left everyone behind. As he left for the cafeteria.

The other surgeons came and gave halsey all the information and DNA blood samples to halsey. "Dr. Catherine, we got everything you asked us. Here we have everything organized for you madam," he said, passing it to her.

"Rose and Laila come with me," said halsey.

[Laboratory]

Rose Laila and other surgeons all arrived for the meeting with Dr. halsey.

"Ms. Halsey. What was the reason you called us here for?" asked laila. 

Halsey was making some calls with her officials. About toa's training and his augmentation simulation. After hanging up she turned around.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we have finally achieved something we all have been working so hard for. I think it's time to select our candidates," announced halsey.

"What you want to kidnap more teenagers," said rose.

"No children," answered halsey.

Everyone was a little bewildered by her words but chose not to defy her decision. Except for two people.

"What the hell! do you mean children, why would you even think of this!" exclaimed a vexed rose. 

"She's right, about one thing halsey," spoke toa, as he leaned in on the wall.

Everyone was startled by his voice, they didn't even hear him walk-in while having a conversation with halsey.

"Spartan-005, what are you doing in here. This is a very important gathering you should not be putting your nose in," told halsey.

Toa ignored her as he walked past everyone. Standing in front of her, toa looked at halsey with a crossed arm. "Forgive me miss halsey. But you would need better security next time," told toa.

"I've heard your whole conversation with your officials and after that. Why children?" he asked.

"Cause spartan toa. Children's mind is more easily accepting of indoctrination. Their body is more adaptable to augmentation. But we won't know about that-.

"Unless what?" said toa.

"That, I don't know yet. But thanks to your blood, we might find the right candidates for the Spartan-2 programs," praised halsey.

"Fine, I'll agree with you. But I get to be there for them," toa told her.

Halsey nodded. "That I can do for you, Spartan-005," said halsey.

Toa left to prepare for his mission tomorrow with officer mendez.

I chose to give toa his (spartan name 005) I was gonna name him spartan 527. since I was born on May 27. But it seems a little off to me, So that's that.

Toa had Always wanted to go on an adventure since he was younger but ever since he grew up, he wanted to grow up with his siblings, like teach him something they learned themselves. But he did appreciate them for what they had done. 
By the time he turned 17, he had an accident during school.

Aku lelah dengan semua ini. Desah Sarah saat memikirkan bagaimana kacaunya dia saat ini. Melihat salju seharusnya menyenangkan menjadi sangat menyakitkan baginya. Bagaimana bisa seorang Sarah yang sangat mencintai salju menjadi sangat merasa tertekan ketika salju turun. Air matanya selalu tidak berhenti menetes. 
"Kak Sarah..." Ia segera menghapus air mata yang sedari tadi mengalir di pipi, ketika mendengar pekikan suara Halsey di ambang pintu kamar. Ia berbalik setelah sejak tadi duduk menghadap jendela, melihat titik-titik salju turun.
"Ada apa, Halsey? Bisakah untuk biasa saja?" gerutunya menatap Halsey yang tengah duduk di tempat tidurnya. 
"Seperti biasa, Kak. Halsey selalu bersikap biasa saja," Halsey menggedikkan bahunya cuek menanggapi perkataan sepupunya. Di luar mereka memang terlihat tidak akrab atau lebih tepatnya sering berdebat. Tetapi mereka adalah sepupu yang sangat dekat dan akrab. Sarah selalu memanjakan Halsey yang berusia terpaut cukup jauh darinya. Sehingga sering kali membuat gadis itu sangat manja dan berlaku semaunya.
"Kau pernah bertemu seorang lelaki tampan, Kak?"
"Tampan? Sepertinya tidak, hanya lelaki-lelaki tidak jelas," jawab Sarah sekenanya melewati Halsey, berjalan menuju walk in closet.
"Sama seperti Kakak, kan?" Halsey mengeraskan suara agar Sarah dapat mendengarnya.
Siapa kau? Dan apa yang terjadi? Bisakah aku melarikan diri darimu, Sarah? lirihnya dalam hati ketika melihat pantulan dirinya di cermin. Rasanya ingin melarikan diri dan pergi jauh, karena merasa jengah. Dirinya yang selama 5 tahun terakhir menjadi orang lain.
"Kak... Apa yang kau lakukan di sini?"
"A—apa?" Sarah tersadar dari lamunannya ketika Halsey menghampirinya ke walk in closet.
"Kau terlihat sangat kacau, Kak," Halsey mengelengkan kepala sembari berkacak pinggang. Sarah berjalan menuju sofa, duduk di sisi gadis berambut cokelat yang tengah asik menonton TV dengan camilan di tangan.
"Bisakah kau seperti dulu, Kak?" Halsey menarik jarak dari Sarah yang tengah memasukkan tangan kedalam camilan miliknya. Kelakuan kekanakan sepupunya bisa membuat Sarah terkekeh walau tertahan. 
"Kau sungguh adik sepupu kesayanganku."
Mereka berpelukan seakan ini ialah pertemuan pertama setelah terpisah lama. Halsey sangat bahagia melihat Sarah dapat tertawa lagi seperti dulu, walau hanya sedikit.
Paman Paul bilang dia mengalami trauma yang mengakibatkan kehilangan sebagian memori dan beberapa perubahan dalam bersikap. Akhirnya aku bisa melihatnya tertawa lagi. Gumam Halsey dalam hati.
Halsey membelai lembut punggung sepupunya yang mulai berkaca-kaca. Sarah melepaskan pelukan Halsey yang terasa penuh luka, mencengkram bahunya lembut. "Kenapa menangis, Halsey? Apa aku mengucapkan sesuatu yang menyakitimu?" tanya Sarah.
Gadis itu menggeleng menahan tangis yang membuat Sarah khawatir. Menghapus air mata yang telah membasahi pipi kemerahannnya. Bahkan ia bisa melihat dengan jelas tidak ada tatapan dingin menginterfesnsi seperti yang biasa diberikan oleh Sarah.
"Tidak, Kak," suaranya terdengar lirih. 
"Sungguh? Aku rasa tidak, karena kau masih menangis," Sarah membenarkan posisi duduknya agar lebih nyaman.
"Halsey hanya bahagia."
"Bahagia??? Kau menangis, kenapa? Jujurlah."
"Aku serius, Kak. Aku bahagia karena akhirnya kau bisa bersikap normal," ia menggenggam kedua tangan Sarah , sedangkan yang tangannya digenggam hanya menatapnya heran dan tidak menyela ucapan Halsey mengenai dirinya.
Normal? Apa selama ini aku sangat tidak normal? Sarah bergumam dalam hati saat mendengar ucapan Halsey tentang keadaannya.
"Biasanya kau hanya diam tanpa ekspresi, tapi tadi bisa tersenyum bahkan nyaris tertawa. Aku sangat bahagia dan seluruh keluarga pasti bahagia mendengarnya," senyum merekah dari bibir tipis gadis cantik bernama Halsey.
Jadi itu yang membuatnya menangis dan merasa bahagia. Maaf, aku hanya tidak tahu bagaimana menyikapi diriku sendiri. Terlebih keadaanku. "Jadi sekarang kau ingin apa?" tanya Sarah lantang ketika beranjak dari sisi Halsey yang sibuk dengan snacknya.
"Aku ingin mengajakmu bertemu Josephine Hill," Halsey menoleh ke arah Sarah yang kini tengah duduk bersandar di kepala ranjang. 
"Untuk apa?" tanyanya heran. 
"Ya untuk membuat dress lah, Kak. Memangnya apa lagi? Jualan? Dia kan perancang langganan The Jacobs," Halsey sedikit ketus merespon kebingungan Sarah. 
Aku tahu itu, gumam Sarah.
"Kita harus membuat gaun untuk pesta ulang tahun penikahan Kakek dan Nenek. Cucu macam apa kau sampai tidak tahu, Kak?" jelas sekali Halsey sedang mencibir sepupunya. 
"Ya Tuhan!!!" Sarah mulai panik dan berlari ke arah wolk in closet mencari-cari sesuatu. 
"Ketemu..." ia menarik narik napas lega seraya berjalan ke arah lemari putih di ruang pakaian.
"Ada apa? Tidak perlu seheboh itu, seperti anak kecil saja. Ck," Halsey berdecak kesal melihat Sarah panik mencari sesuatu.
"Kunci lemari, tadi masuk ke dalam toilet."
"HAH???" Halsey mencari air mineral yang ia letakkan di atas nakas, karena tersedak snack ketika mendengar alasan kepanikan Sarah. 
Kunci? Yang benar saja? Dia panik hanya karena kunci lemari? Kalau tidak bisa dibuka langsung bongkar saja, tidak usah repot apalagi heboh seperti tadi. Halsey menggumam sembari meminum ai mineralnya.
"Bukan itu masalahnya, Sey. Kado yang ku siapkan untuk granny ada di dalam lemari." Halsey heran mendapati sepupunya yang memiliki respon dan ingatan bagus, kini menjadi sangat kacau. Ia tahu kecelakaan yang menimpa Sarah berakibat fatal pada kondisi psikis dan otaknya.
"Apa dia akan datang kali ini?" Sarah terdengar ragu.
"Tentu! Kak Luke selalu punya hati dan waktu untuk keluarga," Sarah tersenyum mendengar jawaban penuh semangat dan percaya diri Halsey.
Luke Jacob, seorang pengusaha muda yang terkenal sibuk bisa sangat khawatir saat mendengar keluargnya ditimpa masalah. Bahkan saat kecelakaan yang menimpa Sarah 5 tahun lalu ia segera datang ke Skotlandia dari Kanada. Luke adalah cucu tertua Philips Jacob, yang sangat menyayangi Sarah dan Halsey.
Sarah dan Halsey akhirnya pergi bersama menemui desainer andalan The Jacobs. Josephine Hill sangat paham dengan selera The Jacobs, sehingga menjadi desainer tetap keluarga bangsawan itu.  Keduanya telah sampai di depan sebuah gedung 3 lantai dengan desain modern minimalis, lengkap dengan lampu-lampu kristal yang menghiasi lobi gedung dari balik pintu slide kaca. 
"Akhirnya kita sampai..." teriak Halsey girangan saat keluar dari mobil Sarah yang memberanikan diri untuk menyetir setelah sekian lama tidak melakukannya. Trauma? Ya! Itulah penyebabnya Sarah tidak suka mengemudi, bahkan nyaris tidak pernah. "Santai..." ujarnya pada Halsey yang berjalan cepat memasuki butik milik Josephine. Butik milik Josephine Hill memang sangat apik dan cozy, membuat setiap pelanggan betah berlama-lama di sini. Sekedar memilih beberapa desain atau konsultasi tentang trend mode yang pantas untuk mereka. 
"Selamat datang di butikku, The Jacobs," sambut Josephine hangat menghampiri Sarah dan Halsey. Mereka saling mencium pipi dan berpelukan kecil.
"Di mana ibu kalian, Nona? Biasanya selalu datang bersama?" ia mempersilakan The Jacob's Girls duduk di sofa bludru violet yang disediakan butik Josephine Hill.
"Mereka sibuk seperti biasanya, dan Halsey memintaku untuk mengukur gaun baru hari ini," Sarah melirik Halsey sekilas ketika berbicara dengan Jospehine.
"Baiklah! Ayo kita mulai sekarang!" ucap Josephine semangat mengambil pita ukur yang dilingkarkan pada leher jenjangnya. Segera ia mengukur tubuh indah milik Sarah dan Halsey. "Sarah kau memiliki bahu yang sangat seksi, jadi aku akan membuat gaun yang mengekspos bahumu. Tapi karena kau pribadi yang sederhana, jadi dress berlengan dengan rok pendek tampaknya akan bagus untukmu?"
"TIDAK!!!" teriak Halsey mengagetkan kedua orang yang tengah sibuk melakukan pengukuran. 
"Ada apa lagi, cutest Halsey?" Sarah sedikit menahan emosinya ketika mendengar respon sepupunya. "Andrew akan marah jika kau memamerkannya," menghela napas, "pada lelaki lain," lanjutnya. 
Sarah menghela napas sebentar sembari berpikir, ia lupa akan Andrew yang sangat posesif terhadapnya. Pernah sekali mereka hendak menghadiri suatu pesta, tetapi Andrew memintanya mengganti gaun. 
"Baiklah. Jospehine, buat seanggun mungkin tanpa mengekspos bagian tubuhku yang sangat pribadi," ucap Sarah pada Josephine yang sempat menghentikan aktifitas mengukur tubuh Sarah.

Salju turun membekukan darah di wajah cantik Sarah Dimitrova-Jacob. Putri tunggal pengusaha kaya di Britania Raya itu dalam keadaan kritis. Bahkan ia mengalami koma dan terbangun dalam keadaan amnesia. Melupakan kenangan menyakitkan dan mengecewakan dalam hidupnya.

Sampai akhirnya seseorang yang ia lupakan hadir kembali, menginginkan tempat di hati dan ingatannya.

{1130 Hours, August 17, 2517 / Eridanus Star System, Eridanus Two, Elysium City}
The orange sun cast a fiery glow on the playground of Elysium City Primary Education Facility No. 119 as Doctor Halsey and I stood in the semi-shade of a canvas awning and watched children as they screamed and chased one another and climbed on steel lattices and skimmed gravballs across the repulsor courts. I was extremely uncomfortable in civilian clothes. I was wearing a loose gray suit, a white shirt, and no tie. Doctor Halsey seemed to be enjoying my awkwardness.
When I had complained about how loose the and sloppy the clothes where she had almost laughed. I was a purely military man, right down to the core. I found myself standing rigid, even out of the uniform, and according to Doctor Halsey, 'It was as if he was standing at perpetual attention.'
"It's nice here," she said. "this colony doesn't know how good they've got it. Rural lifestyle. No pollution. No crowding. Climate-controlled weather." I grunted in response as I tried to smooth the wrinkles in my silk jacket.
"Relax," she said. "We're supposed to be parents inspecting the school for our little girl." She slipped her arm through mine, causing me to stand even straighter. I heard some faint laughter, like a little girl, causing me to be alert. I swept my surroundings but couldn't see anyone.
"What is it?" Halsey asked.
"I swear I heard some laughter, it sounded like a little girl," I say.
"Relax, Keyes. You're too alert and you look like a bodyguard instead of a father," she responded. "Besides, there's a group of kids in front of us, so nothing out of place."

"Ahh," I look away in slight embarrassment. 'Perhaps the Doctor was right. I should relax a bit.'
Halsey sighed, opened her purse, and retrieved a palm-sized pad. She adjusted the brim of her wide straw hat to shade the pad from the noon glare. With a tap of her finger, she accessed and scanned the file she had assembled of their subject.
Number 117 had all the genetic markers she had flagged in her original study - he was as close to a perfect subject for her purposes as science could determine. But Dr. Halsey knew that it would take more than theoretical perfection to make this project work. People were more than the sum of their genes. There were environmental factors, mutations, learned ethics, and a hundred other factors that could make this candidate unacceptable. 
The picture in the file showed a typical six-year-old male. He had tousled brown hair and a sly grin that revealed a gap between his front teeth. A few freckles were speckled across his checks. Good - she could match the patterns to confirm his identity.
"Our subject," she said, as she angled the pad toward me so I could see the boy. Dr. Halsey noticed that the picture was four months old. Didn't ONI realize how fast these children changed? Sloppy. She made a note to request updated pictures on a regular basis until phase three started.
"Is that him?" I whispered, causing Dr. Halsey to look up. I nodded towards the grassy hill at the end of the playground. The crest of that hill was bare dirt, scuffed clean of all vegetation. A dozen boys pushed and shoved one another - grabbed, tackled, rolled down the slope, and then got up, ran back, and started the process over.
"King of the hill," Dr. Halsey remarked. One boy stood on the crest. He blocked, pushed, and strong-armed all the other children. Halsey pointed her datapad at him and recorded this incident for later study. She zoomed in on the subject to get a better look. This boy smiled and showed the same small gap between his front teeth. The pad froze the image in the frame allowing her to match his freckles to the picture on file.
"That's our boy"
He was taller than the other children by a full head, and - if his performance in the game was any indicator - stronger as well. Another boy grabbed him from behind in a headlock. Number 117 peeled the boy off, and - with a laugh - tossed him down the hillside like a toy.
Dr. Halsey had expected a specimen of perfect physical proportions and stunning intellect. True, the subject was strong and fast, but he was also dirty and rude. Then again, unrealistic and subjective perceptions had to be confronted in these field studies. What did she really expect? He was a six-year-old boy - full of life and unchecked emotion and as predictable as the wind. 
Three boys ganged up on him. Two grabbed his legs and one threw his arms around his chest. They all tumbled down the hill. Number 117 kicked and punched and bit his attackers until they let go and ran away to a safe distance. He rose and tore back up the hill, bumping another boy and shouting that he was king.
"He seems," I started "Um, very animated."
"yes," Dr. Halsey said. "We may be able to use this one."
She glanced up and down the playground. The only adult was helping a girl get to her feet after falling down and scraping her elbow; she marched her towards the nurse's office.
"Stay here and watch me, Lieutenant," she said and passed me the datapad. "I'm going to have a closer look."

Also, as this is a fan-fic, I will be taking a lot of content from the Halo Universe and from other stories as well. ''It has been six months since Vasilis died'' Halsey said as she buried her face in Damiano's chest.
''I need to leave Halsey'' Damianos said as he shifted Halsey's head to the pillow. He was about to get out of bed when Halsey held his hand.
''No Damianos, please stay''
''You need to rest Halsey. If I'm here you won't be able to sleep. Don't forget you are not alone now.''
Halsey smiled and placed his hand on her protruded belly. I just can't wait Damianos''
''I have to meet the guru Halsey, as much as I wait for our child. I have to make sure everyone is prepared for him. The guru told me he was due to come soon''
Damianos gave Halsey a peck on the forehead and left.
''I'm sorry for keeping you waiting guru'' Damianos apologized as he sat on the throne.
''A king never apologizes no matter what'' The guru said.
''Okay, queen Halsey wanted to know when she will have her baby in her arms'' Damianos said
''Sooner than you think king, very soon''
''We can't wait anymore. Anyway, why are you here''
''Remember Leonidas?''
''Of course, guru, who can forget Leonidas. He is the basis of our history. He is the reason why we have all these colonies.''
''Well, a new Leonidas is going to be born''
''What do you mean guru?''
''The ancestors want the chosen one to bare Loenidas's name''
''We will do as they say, however, how will we know the chosen one. Halsey feels she has four cubs in her womb''
''The chosen one will come with his name''
''That was what I needed''
''Queen Halsey needs you now, I will be here to bless the child later''
Damianos rushed to Halsey's room only to find her surrounded by midwives. They made way for him so he could stay close to the queen. Since there was total darkness, all the midwives held their candles in place
''Keep pushing, we need you to do this'' The midwife who attended to Halsey said. Halsey gathered all her strength as she pushed
''How can I help?'' Damianos asked in desperation. One midwife handed him a wet towel so he could wipe the sweat on Halsey's face
''I... I don't think I can do this Damianos'' Halsey said panting
''You can do this Halsey, you know you are my fighter. Do this for the chosen one'' Damianos said as he took her hand. After immense efforts, two little ones were out
''There is one more, keep pushing'' the midwife said. Halsey nodded, took one full breath, and summoned her strength to push out. The people of the lion kingdom were all gathered waiting for the news of the birth of the chosen one. They waited outside the palace with their lit candles in hand. The news of the little ones had spread like wildfire but it was the last they were waiting for. It did not matter how long it took as long as the chosen one was going to be born, they could wait for as long as it took. The night fast passed and there was still no news. Dawn finally set in but everyone still waited in place. One midwife opened the window to realize the sun was up
''It's morning'' she said in surprise
''We have been here all night'' she continued
''I can't do this any longer'' Halsey said with evidence of weakness in her voice
''Everything will be fine, you will have him in your arms soon'' Damianos assured her and planted a kiss on her forehead. After several efforts, Halsey gathered all the strength she had in her, took a deep breath, and pushed with her entire might and soul.
Then the cry they had been waiting for was eventually heard. Tears began to flow from Halsey's eyes down to her cheek.
''You did it, Halsey.'' Damianos exclaimed
''No we did it'' she corrected and placed her hand on his cheek. A few minutes later the little one was brought to Damianos and Halsey
''He is so beautiful, even with his eyes closed'' Halsey confessed
''I'm sure he will have your beautiful eyes'' Damianos said. Halsey took his tiny finger and realized there was something written on them.
''Damianos!'' she called out surprised 
''Look at his finger'' she continued. Damianos took his left hand in his palm and read it out loud ''Leo''. Leo was written on his left fingers just beneath the knuckles. Halsey took out the left hand and read. ''Nidas'' Nidas was written on the right fingers from the index to the little finger. 
''Leonidas'' Damianos said.
''He is Leonidas'' Damianos continued
The guru entered the room Damianos and Halsey were in.
''Your two other cubs are with the midwife'' he said
''Leonidas is also written at the two sides of his neck'' the guru continued. They pulled the cloth on him to realize the guru was right.
''If it took you all night to get this little one out, then the hyenas better prepare because he came hard just for them'' The guru said once again
''We have been keeping our people waiting since yesterday'' Halsey said
''Hand over the child, I will show him to the people'' The guru muttered. Halsey handed the little one to the guru as Damianos wiped the sweat on her forehead
''You did it dear'' Damianos said after the guru left.
''The ancestors were right, you are the best woman for me.'' Damianos kissed her and helped her to lay her head on the pillow
''Have some rest, I'll be back before you wake up.'' Halsey nodded in response and Damianos left. The news of the chosen one birth had spread like wildfire and everyone in the kingdom assembled once again to have a glimpse of the child. Damianos joined the guru and the warriors on the castle balcony. The place became quiet when the guru began to speak
''Humble subjects of the lion kingdom, we are all gathered here today to welcome the one who will restore the title of the lions'' He exclaimed. The guru raised the chosen high into the sky which everyone responded by bowing, even Damianos. Silence was observed for sometime after which the guru spoke again.
''The ancestors have done their best by giving him to us. Now, it is the kingdom's time to do its best to train him to be better than Leonidas because that is what he is, a Leonidas'' The guru exclaimed ''ALL HAIL LEONIDAS'' One warrior exclaimed after which trumpets were blown.

''Wait'' Halsey said, however, she was too late. Leonidas had already taken down the tree with his fist.
''We don't wait mother, we just crush it down'' he said as he ran his hand down his dark hair. Halsey smiled and passed him a towel
''Thanks, mum'' he said as he caught it
''Put on your shirt before the female servant comes in. With this body they are going to fall flat on their faces'' she complained. Leonidas laughed and turned away from his mum.
''It's time for your next training Leo'' Brianna said as she moved to Leonidas.
''Brianna!, when did you get here'' Halsey said as she hugged Brianna.
''I just got here, I wanted to see how my childhood sweetheart was doing. Wow, Leo, you've grown much taller and masculine''
''With all these years training, were you expecting to see a fat person, come on Brianna''
''Mmm I see, also your eyes were not this blue when we were young''
''People change Brianna''
Halsey felt left alone in the conversation and asked to leave. She signaled Brianna who quickly understood her and left.
''So young man, we are finally done''
''Well, I'm sorry I have to go for my next training''
''Come on, just skip one for me''
''I would love to but something greater has captured my heart''
''And what would that be''
''To find and kill her''
''Who?''
''Oh! I mean the hyena's chosen one. I won't fucking spare her dear, anytime I think of her existence I get sick. I can't believe we are both under the same sky, on the same land, and breathing the same air. It's a mind sickening thought and that makes me want to meet her the more one day''
''I love your attitude, okay, I will leave you to go''
''Don't talk as if you have control over my life, because you don't. I will see you later. Anyway, welcome back'' Leonidas gave her a peck on her check and left.
''I will eventually have you where I have always wanted soon Leo, that I promise myself'' Brianna said to herself.


''I think we need to send Leonidas to Luk again'' Halsey addressed Damianos.
''You are right, but there is one thing we have not done yet. We need to make sure he fully knows how to control his powers. He  killed someone in Luk''
''Yes. it is true. The useless ones (Lukards) can not be harmed. It's the hyenas. Anyway, Brianna is back from Luk. This time she will go back with Leo''
''Brianna is a calm lady. She will do him good in Luk.''
''Also she will be our eyes in Luk. After Leo gets his way with the Hyenas, I want him to be with her''
'' Whatever you want. This is going to be Leonidas's last training. We need to tell him all about the kingdom and test his powers. After that, he can go back to Luk''
''I'm here dad'' Leonidas exclaimed behind his parents.
''Don't just stand there son, come here. We need to talk'' Leonidas nodded and followed his dad to a secret chamber.
''Have we ever wondered why we have colonies son, have you wondered why we have powers''
''No, I always thought we were meant to be this way'' Leonidas said
''You are meant to have powers with or without colonies but for the rest of us, we need the colonies to possess the little power we have. I think that is how I can put it if we are comparing our powers with yours''
''Then I guess you will tell me all about it''
''Of course''
''I'm all ears''
''Thousands and thousands of years back that is before the ALAIT, the entire wildlife lived peacefully together. The lions were the kings of Zuk''
''Then how did that change because things are supposed to be that way!'' 
''Calm down Leo, I'm not done. Then the queen of the lions went missing, that was when the war started. The king received a scroll that said the queen was abducted by the hyenas. The hyenas fought with the lions for years but it was futile. We couldn't do it on our own. The lions became so furious that they vented their anger on the other animals. The king realized all the animals in the wildlife were intimidated by the lions except the hyenas. The king saw it as an advantage to declared a general war. The hyenas knew what we were up to. They played our game well. Different animals fought with each other to show their strength. If you got defeated by one animal species you become its people's slave. We won many wars son. We had a lot of colonies.''
''Then what went wrong''
''The hyenas...''
'' Why did you stop dad?''
''Son, since you were a child, I have told you to be careful of women. They can be the center of your success or failure. But also, do not spare them when they are within your grip. Always take the shots before they do. Women are weak, you must always learn to use their weakness to get what you want from them. What they like most is to be sweet-talked. But there was this one who looked like all of them. She looked weak and stupid but there was more to her.''
''What was her name?''
''Inferna, she took the lions by surprise. Even though none of us knew her, history gave a clear picture of her. She had the kind of beauty the world wouldn't have again. She was a blessing to the hyenas. She was everything. Flawless and strong even though she looked weak. She deceived the king into sleeping with her''
''That is impossible. It makes no sense. A lion and a hyena''
''She made the impossible possible. The more she slept with him, he lost power to her''
''What has that got to do with the hyenas having equal colonies as us.''
''Leo, when you colonize an animal, you possess its power. We colonized the eagles that means we can see beyond the vantage point. We colonized bats. That is why we can be nocturnal if we want to. We possessed every ability of the animals we enslaved. He shared his powers with her by sleeping with her. We lost half of our colonies to them. The king protected her with his life but never knew she was a hyena. She was a traitor. She disappeared after she got what she wanted. The good news is she died with her charms and since then, no one on both planets Zuk and Luk has raised a candle to her beauty and we hope it stays that way because her beauty was very distractive. Leonidas was the king. He got all the people in Zuk to be our colonies but Inferna found a way into his heart after the queen disappeared. Let me tell you something son. You have never seen a hyena, but you can mark them by their beauty. Don't be fooled''

Damianos, Leonidas, and a few warriors moved to Leonidas's training ground for his last test. Brianna and Halsey followed later on. On the training ground, Leonidas tried to get himself ready but was caught off guard when he turned so his back could face the warriors. Twenty arrows were thrown towards his direction but before they knew it he had been able to evade them all with his back still facing them.
''Is that all you can do, come on'' Leonidas laughed in mockery. One warrior took off his sword and headed for Leonidas. Although Leonidas sensed his approach, he allowed him to have his way. The warrior planted the sword deep into Leonidas's back. Leonidas sighed and pulled the sword out of his back and continue to prepare himself. In a few seconds, the wound he had from the sword healed, and his back became as it was. Scarless.
''come on, I want the main deal,  I'm not a child anymore, or are you afraid you are going to get me killed. I'm not an ordinary Zukard'' Leonidas scoffed at the warriors. The warriors got fed up with mockery and descended on him. One used his sword to cut through him mercilessly while the other fought him without arms. Leonidas got hold of a warrior who had sunk his teeth deep into his veins the pushed him off with his hand without holding him. He directed his hand to the warrior who tried to cut through him and frozen him. The rest of the warriors back away. The warrior who sunk his teeth into Leonidas slowly turned grey and fell to the floor throwing up blood almost on the verge of death. Leonidas sat beside him and patted his back.
''Didn't my dad tell you, I've got bad blood in there'' he said as he touched skin
''I tried to stop you but, it was too late. Don't know what to say but I promise your family will be taken care of. Rest in pieces'' Leonidas smirked at the dying man. The wounds he incurred during the fight had disappeared when he stood.
''I hope the remaining are not backing off now?" Leonidas asked
"It's okay son, it's enough. you have killed two warriors without even trying. Let's leave the rest of your abilities as a surprise for the hyenas. We need to get what they stole from us'' Damianos said
''Your father is right. You scare me when you fight'' Halsey said.
''We will be going back to the 'technology plant' Leo. We have to get you ready Leo'' Halsey continued.
''There is one more thing to be done.'' The guru appeared at the scene
''If a head of a lion has not appeared on your chest, you can not go'' The guru directed to Leonidas.
''Seriously, I have missed life in Luk. I've missed the things I used to do there'' Leonidas complained.
''Order from above'' The guru said.
''What the fuc....''
''Mind your language son. We are in Zuk'' Halsey interrupted Leonidas  
''Fine, I will stay''

''I have been here for another two weeks'' Leonidas said to Brianna
''Come on baby boy, just check and see. There is no harm in trying'' Brianna muttered out.
''You check for me, disappointment makes my worse side come out'' Leonidas closed his eyes and raised his t-shirt.
''Oh my goodness! It's there!'' Brianna exclaimed
"You do know I do not take likely to jokes. Can I open my eyes?'' 
''Of course. It's on your chest Shawn'' Leonidas opened his eyes to find the lion mark on the left side of his chest.

On a unknown planet at an unknown UNSC base. There are two scientists outside of a cryopod. One scientist presses some buttons on the right side of the cryopod. As soon as the cryopod door opens. The two scientists look at the woman who is wearing a lab coat and that is missing her right arm. She says my name is Dr. Halsey and she asks "what year is it". 


The male scientist says is year 2577. The female scientist says to the male scientist 'that their have been reports of a spartan on Alluvion". Dr. Halsey looks at the female for a moment then she says 'Do you know the spartan's name by any chance'? The female holds up a data pad and says that the spartan's name is Kate ,but we don't know all the details about her like her spartan number. Then Dr. Halsey says her spartan number is 290. 


The two scientists look at her and says "how do you know that"? Because somethings are best unknown for the time being. "Have you contacted Oni yet"? Dr. Halsey asked. They say no we haven't because you might want to be brought up to speed first before anything happens to you. 


Then they go on how about all the spartans magical not here anymore. Dr. Halsey than says do you know what year what was the last spartan seen. The female scientist say "2561"she says. Dr. Halsey remembers about the spartan on Alluvion then turns towards the female scientist, then says hand me that data pad. The female scientist gives her the data pad. 


Dr. Halsey just active a tracker on the spartan. The tracker shows the location of the spartan in which she is on Alluvion colony it says. Dr. Halsey says "to one of them take me to the control room". One scientist says follow me to the control room Dr. Halsey and she does that. It takes a few minutes to get to their control room and after entering the room. 


Dr. Halsey goes to the the screen and inputs a code for a transmission to Oni headquarters. The transmission goes threw and on the screen ever body in the room can see a black recon armour with a gold visor on the screen and he says "Dr. Halsey I have heard so much about you just call me Adam". Dr. Halsey says "sent a ODST squad and two Oni operators to get that spartan". Dr. Halsey says "everyone leave the room". Then Dr. Halsey locks the door and turns off all sound so that if anyone is listening in they would not hear.


The Dr. and Adam are staring at each other. Dr. Halsey breaks the silences with "have you heard of operation Black Fire".  Adam said "no should have I heard of it" Dr. Halsey said "no you probably would not even know about it ever existing if I didn't tell you, but I will tell you the details later". Long story short it was a spartan program that came right after the spartan II programs. Well I and two other people only know of it existing. Captain Keys and Lord hood. 


It took ten spartan five males and five females, but only two people survive the program. One male then one female. The male one name was Jameson - 280 then the female one is name Kate - 290. The rest have died because they couldn't take the experimental technology and they have AI molded with their brains. Making them think faster and move without command they hardly need any food or water. We had them eat something and gave them water on a daily basis they would either refuse to not eat or drink. 


So we gave them more technology to in plant into their body's. Where they could go weeks without food or drink because their would be a system where they can turn the air around them into nutritions and some other stuff that the Dr. said "will not bother you with". Dr. Halsey then goes on how Kate is different from the other spartan she worked with. The only other one that she came close to was John - 117. The only other thing that Dr. Halsey said is that Kate can get energy back quickly making her go on for hours without taking a break.


"She thinks and process like an AI Program with a human body". So Adam says. Dr. Halsey nods with a serious face. "Not only that she maybe a ticking time bomb waiting to explode so you don't want to be near Kate when she goes off". Dr. Halsey said. Kate may have been molded with a AI Program, but she is still a human being with feelings and she is very smart do not underestimate the power Kate has is scary. Kate could take down a covenant flag ship without breaking a sweat.


Then Kate could still fight for a good bit. If you don't believe me go to my old lab and look for a file that says K-2900 read the file then tell me if you can believe it or not. Adam looks at Dr. Halsey then says "fine I will believe you for the time being". "ln the meantime I will sent the squad of ODST's and two Oni operators with them". "Oh and one more thing Dr. Halsey when we do capture the spartan make sure you keep a short leash on her".


Adam said. While that was happening back on Alluvion colony Kate held up her weapon point at the leader and his body guards. Kate said "I don't do deals with the covenant". Eza'Kovanee then said what a shame then I will take you by force then. Eza'Kovanee sent two of his body guards towards the spartan. Kate was more then ready she pulled the pin on a flash bang then Kate threw it towards the two honor guards. 


One honor cover his eyes while the other one was looking away. Kate appears behind the one covering his eyes shoots him in the back with her Assault rifle and pulls her knife out of her sleeve on her left side of her chest. Kate takes the knife then she stabs the honor guard's neck killing the elite on the spot. However the other elite recoved quickly. The other elite that just recoved rushed forward with his spear in hand stabing the dead elite that the spartan was holding. The honor guard took his spear out of the elite. Kate pick up the spear on the ground that the dead honor guard dropped.


Kate jumped back then she threw the spear towards the honor guard that just stabed the honor guard she was holding. The honor guard just barely blocked the spear she threw then before the honor guard could launch a counter attack. Kate appeared so quickly in front of the honor guard that she hit the elite with the butt of her gun then unloaded a half of mag into the honor guard. Kate then stabs the elite on the knee with her combat knife while she threw her Assault rifle down on the ground then takes the shotgun off her back. Kate pulls the trigger on her shotgun blasted the honor guard heads off.


Kate took a quick look Eza'Kovanee and she noticed the the 3rd honor guard was missing. Kate quickly did a front flip as an energy sword tried to cut her in half. Kate turns around to see the 3rd honor guard trying to ambush me while I just killed the second honor guard. Eza'Kovanee just look at the spartan with a deadpan expression on his face. Eza'Kovanee takes out a golden  energy sword. After Kate shot the shotgun twice at the 3rd honor guard killing him on the spot. 


Kate makes sure that that her shotgun is fully loaded then she turns around to look at Eza'Kovanee they both look at each other then starts to move into a circle walking at the same pace sizing up each other as a worthy enemy. After a second passed they both started walking to each other, then started running. The next thing you know is that Kate and Eza'Kovanee are locked into a battle if one mistake could ends one's life. Kate shot her shotgun twice. Eza'Kovanee doged both shots. Eza'Kovanee jump into the air. Kate rolled out of the way of his energy sword. 



Kate remembers where she left her knife was in one of the honor guards knee's. Kate ran towards the honor guard's body where she left her knife and right behind Kate was Eza'Kovanee. Kate slid at the honor guard's dead body while her shotgun was on her back. Kate picks up the knife and a spear that one of the honor guard's had. Kate threw the spear towards Eza'Kovanee he cut it clean in half. 


Kate takes a magnum on her left side on her leg. Kate shoots Eza'Kovanee he just blocked it with  his energy sword while moving forward and Kate went for the other spear while still shooting Eza'Kovanee. He finally just Dodge justing to get closer to Kate before she reached the spear. Kate was a lucky one because she managed to get the spear before Eza'Kovanee, but a second later Kate would have been cut clean in half. Kate managed to dodge the energy sword by a slip second. 


Kate had to reload her magnum. Eza'Kovanee saw an opening for a second and he took it. Eza'Kovanee rush towards Kate while not blocking bullets. Kate threw her magnum up into the air while she threw the spear at Eza'Kovanee he dodge it. Kate threw her knife at Eza'Kovanee with full force speed it hit his right side of his body trying to dodge it, but he saw the combat knife last second. 



Just as she threw the knife. Kate had a magazine as the magnum in the air was coming down. Kate slides the magazine into the magnum as she caught it in midair she puts her magnum back on her left leg. Kate takes her shotgun off her back, then she rush's forward showing no signs of fear or slowing down. Kate fires two shotgun shells as she was very close to Eza'Kovanee he just blocked one, then he dodge the second shot. Kate takes her magnum on her right side of her leg while holding her shotgun in her left hand. 



Kate fires her magnum and her shotgun at Eza'Kovanee while a few hit him he managed to block most of the shots that were fired. Kate then pulled a pin out of an M9 frag grenade and a flash bang grenade. Kate threw the flash bang grenade first, then Kate threw the M9 frag grenade at Eza'Kovanee he jump back a few feet while covering his eyes then he remembers what happened to his honor guards that fell for that trick. Kate knew what was he thinking. After the flash bang grenade went off (BANG) then the M9 frag grenade went off. (BOOM) Eza'Kovanee was expecting the spartan to appear behind him so he tried to guess where the spartan would appear next and Eza'Kovanee use his energy sword to cut behind him.



Something was off as soon as Eza'Kovanee didn't see a spartan behind him. Kate shot a shotgun at point blank range behind Eza'Kovanee after he turned around. Kate shot her shotgun again one in the head and the other was in the back killing Eza'Kovanee on the spot as he was falling on the ground knee's first. Then Eza'Kovanee hit his face first on the ground.

Halsey was a happy girl, when she met kristen and audrey, a boy named devan, tried to protect halsey from away from her friends but halsey didn’t listen, devan hid his feelings until halsey knows something about her friends kristen, and audrey, a year later halsey noticed that kristen and audrey was spreading rumors that aren’t even true, so halsey said your now my fake friends forever!,
Kristen and audrey felt bad, a year later, devan proposed to halsey and got married and had a loving child named amy and sophie..

Coming out of my reverie I just stared at the monitor on the bridge as this random planet below was glassed by the covenant. We had been here on a retrieval mission for a group of VIPs. After Reach I was assigned to be Captain of the UNSC Retribution, it's a warrior-class destroy custom outfitted with the latest tech. Hell, it even had some sweet Forerunner add-ons that make what we do even easier. Our current objectives have been going behind enemy lines to planets that haven't been glassed yet and retrieving VIPs or if we get the chance sabotaging anything we could. One of the Forerunner add-ons had been a full ship cloaking device. We can't run it for long, but we can run it long enough to get in and out with a job done. 

When the beam from the Covenant SuperCarrier disappeared after doing the deed I turned to my Executive Officer. "XO Hamilton, I'll leave it to you to jump us out of this system. I have a couple of things to take care of." I said to him, and he replied with a salute and started to give orders to the flight crew. I then headed to my quarters at a quick pace, and when I arrived I slipped in and locked the door behind me. Right after I locked the door I turned to the wall that didn't house the door when it opened and punched it as hard as I could. When my metal fist contacted the metal wall it made a big intention. As I stepped back from after my short outburst and I looked at the wall filled with similar indentions, it never gets easy watching genocide. 

After cooling down I walked over to my desk and took my helmet off and laid it down facing me. As I sat down in the chair Artemis appeared in front of my helmet and gave me a sad look. 

"Felix, you can't keep blaming yourself," she said trying to comfort me.

"It is! I could have stopped that! I could have snuck onto that supercarrier and destroyed it!" I yelled out.

"No Felix, you couldn't. That's not your job." She started softly.

"I'm a Spartan that is the very definition of my job!" I said.

"No Felix, that's the other Spartan team on the ship's job. Your job is to be the leader of this ragtag crew of misfits and hold all of them together."  I just hung my head down at this statement.

"I'm one of the best, if anyone can do what I want to do it would be me or John. I just feel like a statue on the bridge standing there while everyone else is out there fighting." I muttered out.

"Maybe if you'd get out of your armor you wouldn't look like one," Artemis said with a chuckle and I chuckled along with her. She then proceeds to cut to the chase, "I've been telling you this, and I will always repeat it. Your crew has the most combat experience than any crew in the UNSC. They are tasked with going behind enemy lines to rescue people that in all honesty, they shouldn't. You think any Captain can come in that has far less experience than them and try to manage them efficiently? No, but you can. You're a Spartan and those in the know, they know you are one of THE Spartans. Everyone here will follow you into hell and back. They know if worst comes to worst you'll fly down there yourself to drag them out. Your ODST platoons have the longest life expectancy, more than any other ODST in the whole fleet. You've literally flown a Pelican down and picked up an ODST when he was staying behind to buy his unit time to evac."

"I owed Miller 20$, I wasn't going to let him die before I paid him back." I quipped with a little smile.

"That's exactly the point, right there! You would die for your men, and they would die for you." I said with a smug look on her face.

"At least the UNSC could have given me a promotion to Captain, who would have ever thought that a Petty Officer would be the Captain of a ship." I grumped out.

"Now Felix, you're just being petty. Everyone knows that a Spartan's rank doesn't mean anything." Artemis laughed out and I joined in feeling a little bit better. Before I could complain some more she got a surprised look on her face. I looked down quizzically at her and she explained why she had that look. "Well Felix, I finally broke the encryption to the Fall of Reach Halsey report. Put your helmet on and I'll pull it up for you."

That surprised me, she had been trying to break the encryption for months. It was such a momentous time for us and I wanted this file to reminisce on. I lifted up my helmet and placed it back on my head. As Artemis was bringing up the files on my visor I reached over and pulled a drawer open then pulled out a softly glowing crystal. Once the files were done populating a wall of text had appeared in front.

After the destruction of the corvette, Halsey called Noble Team to her laboratory for a debrief, where she learned of the death of her colleague, Laszlo Sorvad, who had been stabbed through the abdomen by a Sangheili Zealot reconnaissance team.  After arguing with Carter-A259 over Noble's failure to apprehend the Sangheili and Catherine-B320's attempted access of Dr. Sorvad's restricted files, she learned of the nature of Sorvad's "latchkey" discovery, a way to decipher data found in Babd Catha Forerunner complex beneath Sword Base.  After dismissing Noble Team, she began the decryption process of the "Latchkey" data in the Forerunner complex.

On August 3, Halsey split Cortana into two, assigning her "copy" to work on the decryption of the Forerunner data in the underground facility below Sword Base, while her other half would prepare for the Spartans' mission; Operation: RED FLAG.  When the UNSC Iroquois arrived at Reach from Sigma Octanus on August 12, Halsey visited the ship.  During her visit, Captain Keyes came to see her, and they discussed their daughter Miranda, the Keyes Loop, the Spartans, and Operation RED FLAG.  Later in the day, she visited Camp Hathcock to see John-117 after his debriefing.  On August 27, she met most of the remaining Spartan-IIs at the FLEETCOM military complex in the briefing for RED FLAG, it was sometime after this that Halsey was listed as KIA, probably after the glassing of Sword base
Later, Noble returned after receiving orders to destroy Sword Base and all sensitive data. Halsey once again called Noble Team to her, revealing Noble's true orders to them: to transport a data storage unit containing a fragment of the AI Cortana, now uploaded with the information from the Forerunner facility, to the Halcyon-class light cruiser UNSC Pillar of Autumn, which was holding position in the Aszod ship breaking yards. Halsey left for CASTLE Base under the escort of Felix-116 while the remaining Noble Team members delivered the package to the Autumn.

Dr. Halsey then continued working in ONI's CASTLE Base.  She volunteered to remain behind to ensure that all UNSC technology was secured from possible capture. She initiated Operation: WHITE GLOVE, eventually destroying several AIs (including Cortana's "older sister" Kalmiya) to keep the Covenant from accessing UNSC databases.  With the expectation that the Covenant would glass the planet, and the knowledge that even if they didn't, she would be facing an entire army of Covenant ground forces, Halsey was prepared to sacrifice her work.
However, this changed when Spartans Fred-104, Kelly-087, Vinh-030, Isaac-039, and Will-043 appeared at the entrance to CASTLE Base. With the firepower to potentially fight their way out, surviving CASTLE Base's destruction became viable. She gave emergency aid to the Spartans for their injuries, but a data anomaly detected by her accompanying AI, Kalmiya, attracted Dr. Halsey's attention.

The data had been accessed by Araqiel, an AI that worked for Colonel Ackerson, one of Dr. Halsey's main competitors within ONI. After tracing the data access, Dr. Halsey stumbled across the AI, left behind by its master. Araqiel then threatened her, going as far as to tell her he would fill the room with poison, and that she would be reported.  In response, Halsey typed in archaic line commands - the base code undergirding all AI functions which she had been instrumental in writing - to access his code directory and personal fail-safe, erasing Araqiel from existence. After he was destroyed, she pilfered through Ackerson's files, discovering a number of things including the location of Onyx, evidence of the Spartan-III program, and a map of the mining tunnels CASTLE Base had been built upon.  The latter particularly interested the Doctor as the file had been classified at X-Ray level, making the file abnormally important for an ancient geographical survey.  Halsey thus deduced that there was something of importance under the mountain and that it could be accessed through the mining tunnels under CASTLE Base.
Assuming that at the very least these maps provided a backdoor, she ordered her Spartans out of the base and into the mineshafts.  She then triggered CASTLE Base's self-destruct mechanism and activated the fail-safe on Kalmiya. Together with her Spartans, Halsey evacuated CASTLE Base, moving deeper into the shafts below.

Over the course of the next five days, the Spartans and Dr. Halsey searched the mines, looking for either an exit or what Dr. Halsey would dub "the most important discovery of the millennium".  On the fifth day, Fred discovered an entrance into a large Forerunner structure, and within, the Forerunner Crystal.  However, in acquiring the crystal, they inadvertently released a spike of neutrino radiation, drawing large numbers of Covenant forces directly to their location.
Following a Covenant attack, Halsey and her team retreated into a hallway and were forced to seal off the entrance.  Soon after, contact with Isaac and Vinh (who had volunteered to buy time for the others) was lost, and they were presumed dead. They quickly discovered that the hallway was a dead end, and Halsey and the surviving Spartans remained stranded at this location for some time.

Days later, a group of Spartans, including John-117, rescued Dr. Halsey and the remaining Spartans and evacuated them from Reach to the captured Covenant ship, Ascendant Justice.
Dr. Halsey later saw the importance of destroying the Forerunner Crystal after it caused a Slipspace anomaly that nearly resulted in the destruction of the Ascendant Justice. After escaping Reach, the group fled to the asteroid belt that the Spartan's first mission had been in. While there, she stole the rebel governor's spacecraft and, along with Kelly-087, whom she had sedated, escaped into Slipspace. When asked by Admiral Whitcomb as to the reasons for her actions, she gave a simple UNSC code "Three-Nine-Two," which meant that she was on a high-priority mission. She entrusted the Forerunner Crystal to Petty Officer Felix, telling him to keep it safe, hidden, and to do whatever it took to keep it from falling into enemy hands, as the Covenant would be able to go a hundred times faster in Slipspace should they obtain the Crystal.

"Huh, they know quite a bit," I said sitting there a little stunned. 

"Well, they don't call them ONI Spooks for nothing. Though it's kind of nice that they still don't know about me." She said with a sigh of relief.

"Wait they don't know about you?" I asked with a surprised look.

"Nope, Dr. Halsey went off the books for me. Well, she really went off the books for you." She said with a dazzling smile and I just returned it. 

As I and Artemis continued chatting, the familiar sound of the slipstream drive starting hummed through the ship. That caused me to let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding. The tension in my shoulders relaxed and I leaned back in my chair. But before I got comfortable an emergency call came from the bridge.

"FELIX, THE CLOAK HAS BEEN DISABLED SOMEHOW!" XO Hamilton yelled out in a panic.

"On my way," I said in a grim voice as I jumped up from my chair. Before I could take a step the ship shook hard and I was flung a couple of feet away. As I hit the floor I heard a crunch coming from my hand and before I knew it a bright light enveloped the room. When my vision cleared everything seemed to be ok. I stood up and started to check myself over and everything was alright. With that, I made my way to the bridge to figure out what's happening.

As I reached the bridge and saw everyone frantically working I looked up at the display. Seeing nothing but open space around us and no sign of the Covenant I let out another sigh of relief. I turned to my XO and waited for him to finish giving orders and to give me the rundown. It didn't take too long, we've been through more harrower escapes.

Finally, XO Hamilton turned to me and reported, "Sir, the SuperCarrier let out some kind of pulse which knocked the cloak off. They then fired on us and we took damage to the port engine before we escaped into slip space. Though, I do have to say I thought we were dead when a bright white light engulfed the ship."

I nodded along to the report and kept quiet on how I caused that white light. "Ok, we need to do a couple more quick slip space jumps and then make the trek back home. Contact headquarters and let them know of the damage so they will be prepared when we return."

After giving the orders a continued to stare at the screens feeling something wasn't right. The slip-stream engine hummed as we slipped away from our location. After a couple of jumps, one of the communications officers came over with a pale look on his face. Preparing for the worst I turned to him and said to him, "Report."

"Sir, we are not picking up any UNSC communication," he stated.

"Did we lose comms in that attack?" I questioned him.

"No sir. Let me rephrase it, there is no UNSC comms. It's like it doesn't even exist." he clarified.

That shocked me to my core, there should be no way that comms would be no existent. Preparing for the worst I turned to the XO, "Hamilton, forget the random jumps. We might have a worst-case scenario. Set up a direct slip jump to Earth, I think the Covenant might be attacking."

Hamilton saluted and started to bark out the orders and the Comms Officer returned to his post trying to pick up anything. As I was staring at the screen Artemis chimed in, "Felix… I'm picking up something interesting."

"What is it Art?" I questioned her.

"I'm picking up a satellite that should have been destroyed hundreds of years ago. This doesn't make sense, we know that it was destroyed by a sun," she stated.

"What are you trying to say Art?" I asked her.

"Well Felix, I pinged all the different frequencies of that past. By all indications I'm speculating that we're in the early 2000s…" She finished

"Well shit." I cursed out.

Felix-116 was having a bad day. But everyday is a bad day when you're in command of a ship and behind enemy lines rescuing VIPS before the Covenant glasses the planet. With a bit of luck and author intervention he and his crew are transported to a different universe and time.
