Jonathan stared at the window of his private jet. The place looked tiny and he could get a clear view of the place altogether. He wondered where Alexa was living. He reluctantly agreed to go back to the UK because of his stubborn old man and couldn't believe that he had to waste his million's worth of time courting a woman. He could use that time to look for Alexa, this failure he chagrined him deeply. He was afraid that when he came back to the US she would disappear without a trace. He was determined to kill the woman if that happens. There wasn't a single moment he hadn't thought about her since the time they met, utterly gorgonized by her.
"Wait for me my love I will come back to you I promise"

Alexandra opened her eyes when the sun rays fell on her face. Her eyes were red and puffy because she had cried in her sleep. She looked around and saw that her room was a mess and there were shattered glasses all on the floor. She got up from her armchair, wobbly walked towards her balcony.
She had an unreadable expression on her face. The dense forest surrounding the villa made it look like it was built in the middle of nowhere like her heart. She had almost recovered from the wound four years ago and now there was another one. Life was always hard on her since her birth. She had a crooked family where there was no love, no warmth, no happiness for her. Her mother Catherine would always act like a doting and loving mother in front of her grandfather and would curse her in private. She would call her a sin child and that she wasn't her daughter. Her sister Anastasia had a different and painful way to hurt her. She acted as a gentle and loving sister to Alexandra and would use her as a trump card to get whatever she wanted from grandfather. She thought her sister was the person to love her other than her grandfather. In the end, she was stabbed in the back by her. Her stepfather Gabriel was cold and ignorant of her. She didn't seek his attention either.
She had always worked hard to get her mother's attention. She studied hard, learned music, always did her best in everything in every possible way she could but she didn't love her instead it made her mother grow more resilient towards her. Her love was only shown towards her younger sister Anastasia. She couldn't deny the fact that she was jealous of her sister but not to the point where she would hurt her not even by mistake.
It was her grandfather who made her living on this earth worth it. She was greatly thankful to God for giving her such a loving grandfather. He was her knight in shining armour. Sure they would argue sometimes but it meant how close they were. The fact that her grandfather had died still felt like a lie to her ears but her heart knew it was true. She felt that God had snatched something dear to her. She grabbed her phone to call Halton.
"I'm coming back to England today pick me up at the villa"
Halton didn't say anything for a moment out of shock thinking that she would cancel her plan to come back to England because of her grandfather's sudden death. He felt a change in her attitude. It was bold, alarming and orgulous like her grandfather. He doubted if she was possessed by the old man's ghost. This girl had somehow found the strength she needed.
"Yes, I will arrange it right away" he hung up on the phone.
She looked up at the blue horizon, closed her eyes so she could hear him, Several doubts filled with the aghast of losing the only source of her life. The possibility of being thrown into the agonising flames of detachment from the self and the world. A gentle breeze caressed her hair and it fluttered in the disenthrall wind. She was too familiar with this gesture, she smiled.
"I won't be weak anymore grandpa. I will be strong and get back what's mine and of course, find my happiness like you said. I cannot promise you that I will. I promise you I will try hard."

After reaching the destination the plane landed on the grounds of England. A handsome man came out of the private jet. His handsome face seemed to have been carved out in marble and could put the most handsome greek gods into shame. His arctic blue eyes looked as cold as the waters of Antarctica.
"Brother! Welcome back" The voice was cheerful and full of playful youth. He was Jacob Jonas, Jonathan's younger brother who is known as a notorious playboy. He had similar features as Jonathan but he looked cunning as a fox at the same time charming as a chocolate boy, unlike Jonathan who was luring yet unapproachable. He smiled widely and opened his arms to hug his brother.
Jonathan walked past him, completely ignoring him like air. Jacob stood in that position for a few seconds with an awkward smile on his face. He ran towards Jonathan and stood before him awkwardly laughing.
"Brother, did I do something wrong? Why are in such a bad mood" He was looking up at him like a sad puppy who was being ignored by its master. Jonathan was six years older than him which meant that Jonathan will be twenty-six years old this year. He can never beat Jonathan even in age, height, handsomeness or wealth. He was the nation's most eligible bachelor both in the US and in the UK.
Jonathan looked at him with disinterest. His brother's clinginess made him cringe in annoyance. This spoiled brat was up to no good. He was disappointed at him that he was wasting his youth in breaking the hearts of women. Jonathan behaved more like a stern father when it comes to his brothers but he always had a soft spot for his youngest brother Jeremy.
"Get lost and do something useful rather than disturbing me" Jonathan casually walked towards the black Maybach and sat on the back seat. Jacob sat next to him but kept a safe distance between them. He was afraid if he gets any closer he would be eaten alive by this wild boar! He was thinking of having a brotherly chat when they meet but now he thought that would be a bad idea.
"I heard that you will be courting Winchester's 'hidden gem'" Jacob asked. Jonathan raised a brow at the word 'hidden gem'.
"What do you mean by 'hidden gem'?" Jacob's eyes lit up that he had said something worth his brother's interest. He straightened his back and faced Jonathan.
"She is said to be more beautiful than a goddess and also she was praised as the genius of the century. She was known to be a woman of many talents including music art and dance. Because of her influence 'Royal Steel' is now one of the top three companies in the UK also the top 5 in the world. She was labelled as 'Ms Perfect' by the top magazines in the world and was the most influential woman of the decade. She is Benjamin Winchester's oldest granddaughter Alexandra Winchester and woman you will be courting" It was clear that Jacob admired Alexandra.
Jonathan was taken aback from his brother's flattering description of the woman. He must be living under a rock not knowing such a woman even existed! but that wasn't completely untrue. For six years he had been so busy building his underworld kingdom he had completely ignored the outside world. Although he was meeting such an amazing woman his heart and mind were set only for Alexa and nobody could replace her, not even this so-called goddess.
"Although she was a goddess and a genius numerous negative rumours are circulating the social circle. She was engaged to Edward Morgan the current CEO of 'Archduke' but she was cheating on him with other men. She stopped attending social events and also left Royal Steel and completely disappeared without a trace that's why she is called a 'hidden gem"
Jonathan sneered. Although the woman was a talented beauty she had a bad reputation. He was wasting his time on a vile woman. He was planning on how to get rid of the woman from him. He was sure she would be like any other woman who would throw themselves at them; he needed a plan to get as far away from her as possible.

A story about revenge, love and war

Ziyi woke up around 9 AM and felt refreshed. She looked at Angela who was in deep sleep and lying on the carpet. Her blanket was kicked off and she is lying peacefully with her mouth wide open.She chuckled inwardly saying, 'As always...like a pig'.
She got up slowly and covered her with a blanket again. She walked upstairs to get freshened up. After 30 minutes, she took a quick shower and came downstairs. She opened her mobile and texted to zaw, "Thanks Buddy !!".
After that her stomach started grumbling. It must be due to lack of proper food since yesterday. Originally, she wanted to make Chinese breakfast but suddenly remembered that Angela loves her White sauce pasta.Then she woke up Angela and told her to get refreshed.Angela woke in her half sleep and nodded.
Next Ziyi directly went into the kitchen and started preparing pasta. First, she chopped bunch of veggies and  stir-fried them in olive oil. Then she made the white-sauce and added the pasta. Next, she added the fried veggies and mixed herbs. Next she added raspberries and blueberries to the blender and made a berry juice and garnished it by drizzling honey and dry fruits.She was delighted at the sumptuous breakfast and arranged it properly on the table.
"Aiyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhh !! Yummyyyyyyyy!!", Angela screamed out of excitement from the stairs.
Ziyi gave a little smile and  signaled her to come and take a seat. Angela ran directly and took a bite without even sitting.
'Hmmmmmmmmm.....', she made a long sound with her twinkling eyes showing how much she enjoyed it.
"Angie...atleast sit down !! Nobody is going to snatch your food", Ziyi said calmly.
"Icey...Do you know what's heaven ?"
"Don't tell me this pasta is heaven..", Ziyi replied grumpily.
"He he...That's why you're always smart..!!"
Ziyi :"...."
Facepalm.....Nobody can cure this girl's naivety.
"Okay...Let's eat first", Ziyi started eating her breakfast leisurely.
"By the way Icey..How are you ? Do you know how scared I was when Zaw called me last night and told to accompany you ?", she questioned worriedly.
"Nothing to worry !! Just regular anemia and vitamin deficiency. Thank you very much for coming", Ziyi responded in a normal tone.
"Instead of thanks, why don't you make pasta again ?", Angela asked rolling her eyes in a cute way.
"Isn't that what you're eating right now ?"
"No..this is breakfast..That's a thank you gift....You can't combine both", Angela answered feeling wronged.
"Okay..your highness !! Now have your breakfast peacefully. I will make up your thank you gift next week..Happy ?"
"Yayyyyyy !! Icey is the best "
Ziyi smiled looked at Angela's bright smile.Her presence always enlivens the atmosphere.
"What's your plan for the Easter ?", Angela questioned suddenly.
In the UK Education system, Christmas-New year and Easter break are considered as the biggest holiday breaks. All the universities allocate two weeks for each of the break and most of the students plan for vacation during Easter break.
"Asusual...Same like every year", Ziyi responded in a calm tone.
"US ??"
"Hmm"
"Icey...Can we all go for some trip this time ?"
"Sorry Angie ..Let's plan during bank holidays."
"Why do you always go to US for every Easter since the past four years ? Even Aunty and Uncle find it strange that you don't celebrate here ..!!"
"Don't you know that my cousin lives there...Every year, we both will be eagerly waiting to meet for Easter break."
"Why don't you ask her to come to UK, this time ?"
"I already booked my tickets. Let's see next time "
"You always say the same, but never once you will celebrate with us. Tell me the truth...Do you have any hidden boyfriend in US ??", Angela asked in interrogative tone.
"Pfffttttt...", Ziyi spurted out the juice listening to her question. 
"I am sorry...come again.."
"Hidden boy friend ??"
"No way... Your imagination really runs wild", Ziyi chuckled with a wide smile.
"I felt so because, every time you return, you will be depressed for days as if you are lifeless. So, I thought you might be worried due to the long distance relationship", Angela replied in a low tone.
Ziyi didn't reply back this time. Everyone around her knows that post every Easter break, she shuts her world for sometime. 
How can she not ???
Living a life by tearing the pages of some-other's diary is such a heavy burden.

There's a drumming in my ears, it sounds like a heartbeat, but as if it is dying. The sound begins to go quiet, becoming harder to hear like there's water surrounding it, a lot of water until it becomes nothing but a muffle of sound waves. It's changing pitch, it sounds like a murderous, pleading scream, as if someone is about to end up dead and they're begging for mercy, or they were shot and are shrieking out in pain. My heart skips a few beats as it becomes louder and louder and louder. I feel my hands coming to my ears to cover it, but I stumble back and let out a shriek when the screaming of agony became louder. Yet, I soon realized no sound came out and water began flooding my mouth as a pair of hands latch themselves around my throat and squeeze tightly, my own hands grip onto their wrists, clawing at them to let go. My vision is becoming blurry, all I can hear is ringing, clapping, cheering and then cries and screams of pain. I'm beginning to give up hope until my body is let go and left to sink down to the depths of my new cage of water. My eyes close and a sinking thought comes through my mind, 'It's the end, I guess.'

Years, long, long, ago before the beginning of time (but not literally!). There lived a king and a queen who was known as King Alfred, (King of the four mystical islands of Pandora) and his wife Queen Asteria,(Queen of the galaxies and stars and also Queen of the four mystical islands of Pandora). They had a baby girl named Celeste who had purple eyes like her father and blue hair with an ombre of purple like her mother, she also had a birthmark of a star on her right cheek to remind her that she is the princess of the galaxies and stars and princess of the four mystical islands of Pandora. but one-day lord Kordak king of flamemoor an evil city where only the cruelest most devilish people live anyways lord Kordak attacked the Royal palace and the four mystical islands of Pandora and imprisoned everyone in their palaces with no getting in or out but before he imprisoned everyone they king and queen put a magic spell on Celeste that on her 16th birthday she will go on a quest to free her kingdom from lord Kordak and the forces of evil and they sent Celeste on a planet called Earth where no one we'll find her and they sent her with the king and queen Chief advisor Marissa to protect her and raise her until she was 16. when Kordak took over the Royal palace everything was broken, everything was destroyed. Except for the book of crystals, which holds the 25 gems of magic, which has been scattered on Earth, (25 gems have been scattered on Earth and the book of crystals is also hidden on Earth hidden to be found). Along with the Chief Advisor, the king and queen sent Cyrena and Lenox who are from the island of creation, Isla and Feron who are from the Island of Aquerix, Melody, and Syrin who are from Island Windarix and lastly Talis and Cosmo who are from the Island of Flames. The king and queen had sent them to Earth to live like normal teenagers until Celeste turned 16 then they could go find her and help her on her quest to retrieving the book of crystals and the 25 gems of magic. but lord Kordak also wants this book of crystals so he sends his evil sidekicks Tez, Tezani, and Aris to go on earth and also retrieve the book of crystals and the 25 gems of magic for lord Kordak. Oh, and I forgot, and to also defeat the princesses once and for all ( and the world).
                   NOW LET'S BEGIN!...

Celeste was just an ordinary girl, who lived with her aunt Marissa and lived a normal life  ( except that's what she thinks), but when she turns 16 things start to change, first she starts developing these powers, second, she meets these weird girls named Talis, Cyrena, Isla and Melody, and third she starts having these weird dreams about people, places and things she never knew existed. She goes on a quest with her new friends to find 25 gems, which are the key to unlocking the portal to go save her kingdom from evil, but first, she must find the book of crystals , which the gems belong in, in order for the portal to open. So join her and her friends on this quest to retrieving the book of crystals and the 25 gems of magic to save her parents and the 4 mystical Islands of Pandora from lord Kordac and the forces of evil.

Chad was pretty happy with the magical contract that he had written up to be used for standard recruitment. It was quite reasonable at first glance, but under a bit of scrutiny, it was filled with loopholes in his favour. Even the company name was a joke and a warning. Mesopotamia was one of the first civilisations to legalise slavery under the Code of Hammurabi.

Pledging on their rights as a Magical human would see them only having what little rights a muggle had when they broke the contract.
Non-disclosure agreement would leave them unable to talk about workmates, where they work or what they do. Hopefully, it would also magically protect against Legilimency. 

No disrespect or violence towards Mesopotamian Inc employees or owners assumes that they are also under contract to respect you. A couple of people hired to annoy contract workers would see a few breaking the rules.

No derogatory comments or negative PR against Mesopotamian Inc. Honestly, who hasn't complained about shit jobs or employers over a drink?

No blatant shirking of assigned work. This and the 48 hours a week would wipe out a lot of people. Who hasn't had a bad day and knocked off early, took a long lunch or a cigarette break?

Will not break any Ministry of Magic laws while employed by Mesopotamian Inc. Who even knows them all?

There were no warnings or second chances, break one of the rules of the contract, and you were magically forced to teleport to a containment room. This would be the first place an employee was shown after signing the contract, a comfortable but sparsely furnished cell with bars. 

That it had Apparition and Portkey wards to stop you leaving and a stunning ward for those arriving would not be mentioned. That and the ninja elves that would be transporting the new slaves to a secure location.

The plan was a little convoluted, but it was also legal and above reproach. Sure, Chad could use Legilimency to make everyone loyal, but where was the fun in that? Not to mention that on a large scale, it was not sustainable. 

There were roughly 20,000 people in Magical Britain. To bring them all under control would need a method that his trusted minions could use without him. Chad sure as sh*t was not going to be teaching them mind magic and any magical could empower a magical contract, even an elf.

Since his elves would need a surname, Chad decided that all Peverell elves would have a last name of Domovoy. Domovoy, in Slavic mythology, was a household spirit and was loosely translated into a Brownie for the English equivalent. It would be the ultimate f*ck you to Wizards and Witches to be sold into slavery by house-elves, it sure had Boppy jumping around in excitement. 

Chad would need to recall a couple elves from Australia, but that would work out well, he could gain recruiters and receive a progress report on Australian operations since he had not heard from Crystal for a month or so.

Funnily enough, Chad could find no laws that would make his plan illegal, even with using illusioned house-elves as Mesopotamian representatives to witness and empower the contract. With another scheme that could not be traced back to him in the works, Chad had Boppy pop over to Crystal to get an update and bring back a couple ninjas for manpower. 

It took house-elves a fair few jumps to reach the other side of the world, but funnily enough, only seemed to make them tired for a couple of hours. A round trip shouldn't take Boppy more than eight hours to complete.

Next on his list of things to do was to work out how to magically alter the human body. Just from the Harry Potter books, he already had examples of the following.

It was possible to remove warts and blemishes.

Shrink, grow and straighten teeth.

Remove or regrow bones to different lengths.

Change hair length.

Use rituals to change/enhance/disfigure the body.

Heal open cuts and wounds with Dittany.

Burn-healing paste to heal burns/damaged skin.

Attempt to use the Mending Charm on flesh wounds can cause severe scarring but close injuries.

Phoenix tears have immense healing powers. 

So with all this evidence, permanently changing the human body with magic was a thing. This was not even including Metamorphmagy, Animagus or Polyjuice potions. But experimenting would have to wait until Boppy got back with more elves, Chad would also need him for researching as the internet was not really up to the task yet in 1985. Maybe it was time for a nap.

When Boppy returned with five elves, he had brought back a report that would make any Master proud. Not only had land prices been ridiculously low in the countryside where he planned to set up his Kingdom because it was basic farmland and bush, but Crystal had also somehow convinced the government to sell a lot of it in massive parcels of land. 

The fact that there were about a thousand privately owned farms breaking up the property from being complete was a minor matter. A week of Legilimency and organising all the farmers to meet up in one convenient place to discuss buying their land with cash, and it would be solved quickly.

Since he already owned the deed to some land, the elves took that as a sign to develop a vast underground complex as a future home/storage place. Literal tonnes of gold and piles of uncut diamonds were stored away by his eager little followers. 

Thanks to their short mining education, they had even taken other valuable gems and rare minerals that were found while hunting for their primary targets. The only problem was that it was late 1985 and prices were but a fraction of what they would be worth after 2015. 

Still, Chad was planning to store it all away for his rainy day fund, and with the elves mining everything they could find, prices were bound to inflate with nothing being introduced into the market. Africa was next on the list after Chad was satisfied that the elves had taken the valuable and easily mined gems and minerals. 

It would be even cheaper to buy up massive tracks of land in Africa, the only problem was the public safety of any company he built there. But that could also kill two birds with one stone, he could recruit from the local population, brainwash them, train and equip them and then have them secure the area while recruiting more! But that was for later. 

After Boppy returned and was praised for the excellent work of his elves, he was to pop Chad around to different universities and hospitals. This was so Chad could pillage every bit of medical knowledge that the best and brightest of the UK had to offer. 

He didn't even have to meet them, merely appear disillusioned in front of them, make eye contact, and copy their minds. Chad could have been gentle and scanned only for relevant information, but that would have taken a lot longer. Instead, he did what he did to Voldemort. 

Since the muggles had no defences, he invaded their minds, forced his will over theirs and turned the representation of their soul/mind into a holodisk. Chad then made a copy and released his hold over the original, letting it return to normal. 

This had the side effect of giving them a chronic migraine but with no lasting side effects other than head-splitting pain for ten minutes while their mind healed from the brute force attack. Not only was it quicker, but it was also way more extensive and captured every memory the victim had.

Afterwards was spent hunting down all relevant medical books and reading/scanning them into his memories. It was very time consuming, and coupled with filtering the memories from well-renowned doctors and surgeons in all fields, it would keep him very busy for the next year or so. 

Chad knew it was one thing to copy knowledge, and quite another to make it yours, but this was a subject that needed intimate knowledge. He was going to be changing the human body with magic, and any tiny error could have fatal side effects.
