Hello All,
If you're wondering who this is and why it's in your library, I am a former Webnovel original author who, when Webnovel refused to completely delete my novel, decided to fully abandon it.  This particular novel is Evil Star, Grave of Heroes #1.  It's on RoyalRoad, Webnovel, Moonquill, and Wattpad.  I am Andrew Reise, author of Luxury Cafe Owner (Now on Amazon, iBooks, Google Play, and other platforms) and Dungeon Ecology (currently on RoyalRoad and Moonquill, coming here and elsewhere soon before eventually leaving to Amazon).  Since Webnovel isn't taking down this novel despite my former requests, I figured I'd just go ahead and start posting so that some more people can read it.
That being said, I won't be accepting a Webnovel contract (not that I'll likely ever get offered one).  Meaning chapters, on here, will always be free until I finish the book.  That's because from what I've seen and heard about the contract, it seems pretty bad.  But since I've never received one personally, take my opinion with a grain of salt.  Maybe it's just the rebel in me.  I'll be releasing "two" chapters today, and another tomorrow.  Following that, I'll be doing weekly releases every Sunday. 
For those wondering why I specifically mentioned that chapters on here will be free, here's why: I have a pretty good stock of chapters that I'll be updating to P atreon (the space is because they bleep the word).  If you want to read ahead that'll be the place to do it (you'll find a link below).  Advance chapters will require you to become a patron (aka spend some money so that I can eat).  Eventually, when I finish the novel, I'll remove the content from here except for the first few chapters and publish to Amazon.  But until then, you'll be able to read a chapter here for free every week (or as often as I can manage releases once we catch up to my current stock of chapters).  And if you follow along from beginning to end you'll be able to read the entire novel for free.  So there you go.  Hope you guys enjoy the story.  Fair warning: this novel is full of darkness and violence.  For fans of my other novels, it might be a bit of a change for you! For fans of some of the darker novels on this site, well this will probably seem pretty light compared to a lot of the stuff that's on here.

I would appreciate your time to hear me out on my difficult decision and the journey to write a novel on this platform.
I really really hate to leave this novel unfinish, but I am poor and got to move forward in life. This is not an excuse but a fact. I do not have any regrets about leaving this novel. I am so glad I actually did it. I have always love to read and watch amazing work. My friends and my brothers encourage me as I had a massive vocabulary and that I am a creative nerd.
I am like any other person who wants to be successful and have a dream if only I started earlier like my sophomore year in high school or freshman in college since I had literally tons of free time. Alright, enough of the sad and depressing crap because I am more of enjoy every moment type of guy and always looking at the positive. 
I got into writing light novel from burning passion reading other authors work and that there was not many saucy novel on this platform. Also, if you guys are reading these make more saucy novel similar to mine it sells *ahem* back to my last will. Shout out to IncubusIsLaifu, Einlion, EroJaki, and Akikan40 for their amazing work, and highly recommend checking out their novel. I wanted to write a similar novel like them that had just enough humor, slice of life, action, snu snu scene, and fantasy. Again I am so happy to have started this writing light novel journey and low key got a cool author's badge. 
My writing light novel journey was full of fun. I got offer a contract which was pretty cool, but I did not sign it. I thought I be going places but I made an epic fail when I filled out the form with a freaking typo ughhhhhh! I was so happy when I posted the first 10 chapters and got actual views. I do not know how views work on this platform, but getting 30K in under a month got me so pumped. I mean think about it 30K view is more people I ever meet and gain the attention of. 
Fun facts and bloopers about my novel. I thought it was ingenious when I name the world of the novel scrambling the letters of Earth to be Thera XD. I thought I was a fast writer when I finished  one chapter in five hours, but doing a system and stat page is so tedious to keep track of. I wrote all of my ideas for the novel in a separate notebook. Writing a snu snu scene is actually pretty difficult to capture the emotions, positions, and being descriptive of the action which I got all my vocabulary from Hen aaaaah you know. 
I hope reading this farewell chapter was not boring for you to read because I found it fun to write about. To be honest, I am sad and angry to leave the novel unfinish because of my perfectionist disease however I got to let go. I am glad to actually act on my dreams rather than to always regret not doing it or keep thinking about doing it. Although my writing career was short, I will always remember the fun and stressful time to produce content. Finally, my second main reason to quit is that I do not have enough personal time for myself and for my hobbies lol back to being a huge nerd.

You've probably heard it before. ATS's webnovel continues to be on hiatus, but as of some months ago, WN/RR postings were suspended. And here's why.
-First, let's talk about how ATS first operated, before the Brand became a thing. It technically made its debut on Webnovel, then a day or two later, Royalroad. Not much for an audience, hardly any comments or reactions. But the posts continued to come. I'd amp it up to 3-5 chapters a day. 
One day I decided on a whim to split these into volumes. Do light novel format.  I did my search on word count. Saw that they were typically 20-50k words. I set mine for 60k per book.
I only published it on a whim, just to give it a home and alternate place of publishing. Also helped proved the series was mine by doing it early. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made.
-flash forward, ATS continued to grow, but REALLY did when it the Amazon scene. It was becoming a small brand and cut out its very tiny corner on the vast LitRPG map.
--At first, I intended to keep the business model of free optional buy going (which by the way is completely stupid for the long term). I eventually turned this into a full-time career.
I began to see more posts (not too too many and not just me) about ATS's availability on RR/WN. Free reading. This was fine with me since I intentionally put it that way. Surely everything would continue going as normal. 
Then sales dramatically dropped by 60%.  Holy shit. The KU reads were always high and KU itself being a ticking time bomb or a rug ready to be pulled from beneath my feet, I found myself in a pickle.
---1 pickle:  Amazon's bot. Multiple flaggings every time I published. It's nothing short of a miracle that Amazon hadn't punched me in the dick just for existing. But when you're making them money, they treat you okay. Until you inconvenience them haha.
---2nd pickle: People taking my work and posting them on other websites without my permission. Illegally translating it and CHARGING MONEY for the translations. This is wrong for everybody, not just me. Media, other authors, etc. I didn't even care about this at first, it's fucking normal. I got over it. But for the love of god, don't charge people. It was free.
3rd pickle: The Brand, the LLC, and me as an independent creator has grown. Since I'm in charge of everything pertaining to ATS, forcing myself to continue the same business model I did a year ago as a naïve, unknown urban fantasy writer turned light novel author, wouldn't work.
I've been talking and debating with people for a long coming, before deciding to pull the web novel plug. The ******* is there to continue posting chapters, but as you can see with the low number of Patreons, it does not factor into the reason of pulling the plug. Every drop of *******'s funds goes back into ATS.
Ultimately, RR/WN are best for strictly web novel writers with giant active followings such as Wandering Inn, Mother of Learning, etc etc. 
At the time: ATS only recently achieve its 50th rating, its rankings weren't great and really, like 5 or 6 of the 1100 followers of RR were ever active. RR converted into basic 0% reviews in which could've helped it struggle better against Amazon's algorithm.
WN wasn't much better, with very few commenters, few reviews to keep it "free," nothing. A dead web novel basically. [Although today, we look at the 3 million views and wonder, wow.]
The lack of interaction made it absolutely pointless for me to keep risking my livelihood with Amazon's bot. 
 
This message isn't an excuse. It is simply explaining what led up to the removal. 
You could say By the Order of Amazon, ATS must be removed (to the allowed 10%) or face expulsion from the KDP and its Kindle Unlimited program.
 
I appreciate your understanding. I figured lack of engagement from the audience, lack of reviews on the platform that mattered (amazon), multiple KDP bot flaggings could eventually lead to this point.
But it's better to remove than to lose my career.

Adding more to this, 28th of July 2020, which is months (maybe almost a year later), I still get people every now and then entering the discord.
They hadn't a clue a discord existed or that the work was still going. They don't know about the manga in progress, the new manga artist replacement, the platforms, how far the series has gotten, and who's got the rings and babies.

Utaha looked quite vexed that Yuuki could make light novel and she sighed when she was on her own thought until someone pulled her. She was being hugged by him.

Yuuki's eyes lit up and held both of them on his arms.

"Kyaa!!" 

"Don't worry, if you want a child to let make it now," Yuuki was smiling.

"Wa-wait!!"

"Wait!!"

"Eriri, you can continue to draw or go home, I'll take care of both of them," Yuuki said then left her behind.

Eriri was alone in the room felt quite lonely, it wasn't like she wanted a boyfriend too!!!

So… It's been a while… How've you been?

Now that the ice has been stricken, I'll get to the point of this particular post. As you're probably aware, Serial Transmigrator has been on a bit of a hiatus for… a while, but there's a good reason for that. I hadn't uploaded any chapters…

Why?

Well, I've been spending a lot of time thinking about the story and where it's going and what I'm trying to say with it, and it left me at a standstill when it came to continuing this particular version.

In the end, I think I'm just going to stop this one here. It's served its purpose, and continuing it now, while some of you may appreciate it, just places an additional task on me which isn't very productive in terms of what I'm trying to do.

That said, Serial Transmigrator isn't dead. Not by a long shot. I've decided to take this pretty seriously, and I'm going to make it into a full-blown light-novel-type-thing.

The best part, especially for you guys, is that it will still be free.

"Surely not!" You exclaimed.

"Oh, but it is." Replied Shixuan with a smile and a thumbs up.

That's right, I'm seriously going to try to make this a proper light-novel-type-thing, illustrations and all, and it will still be free (obviously we're talking an e-book as opposed to a physical one).

"Eh? But what about money? Free isn't sustainable and illustrations don't exactly come for free either. Besides, I've seen your drawings, and you're not gonna want to use those." Said no one.

"Glad you asked. I'll open up a donation thing for those who want to support me financially. The story will still be free for everyone though." Replied Shixuan, slightly offended on behalf of his beautiful artwork.

So yeah. This version is kind of over, but I'm working on something which I think is much better than what we have here.

Anyway, sorry for the abrupt pause. I'm wishy-washy, we all know this by now. But I'm still working on it. Until next time-

"Even if that's the case, why is it taking so long?" Interrupted one disgruntled reader.

"… Well, it's-" Shixuan tried to respond, but Disgruntled Reader wasn't finished yet.

"Judging by your previous output, which was over 2000 words a day, you should have been able to write a book or two by now. Where are they?"

"No, you don't understand. I… I've been thinking a lot about how the story's going to progress and wh-"

"Where it's going and what you want to say with it. Right. But does it take so long? You're spending more time thinking than it took to write the actual story."

"I mean… Fire Emblem came out last week, so…"

"You were procrastinating?"

"N-No! I… I was doing research!"

"Yeah right."

"No, really, I was. And besides, thinking about the story takes more time than you would think. It seems like every other day the story goes through a few changes becoming more and more refined."

"…" Disgruntled Reader didn't expect this response. Wouldn't complaining about it only mean asking for an inferior result? Frustrated, Disgruntled Reader reacted in a way only a disgruntled reader could. "Whatever! I-It's not like I wanted to read your story anyway, baka!". Disgruntled reader stomped on Shixuan's foot before scurrying away.

"…" Shixuan watched in confusion as Disgruntled Reader's form vanished behind a corner.

Speaking of research, I also want to "study" a few anime, manga, light novels and web novels to rediscover what it was that made me like them in the first place. All of this "research" does add to the production time, but I'm hoping that at the end of it, I'll be able to deliver a story I can be proud of and one that was worth the wait.

Plains to the south Of Konoha 

As a young boy ran across a field with a small bag and a sheathed sword hanging off his hip with the tip gradually dragging across the ground, as he turned back and saw the pillars of smoke rising from what he could only assume was his small village. With tear filled hazel eyes he lost all strength in his legs as he collapsed onto the ground curling up into a fetal position as the light in his eyes seemed to fade.

"C'mon Mouse, don't fall behind we still have a few hours of border patrol before we can fall back to the village"
"H-hai" As Mouse caught up with the rest of his group he felt a small chakra signature after informing his teammates through various coded hand signs they flickered off into the direction of the chakra signature 

Upon arrival they found a frail looking boy with light brown hair and dark red burn marks stretching from the back of the hand into his palms leaving only the wrist and fingers free from the scars
After studying the boy they saw the bag on his back but what caught their attention was that the chakra signature seemed to be given off by the sword not the boy after noticing this they approached the seemingly dead boy only for the sword to release a strong pulse which seemed to rattle the boy awake 

As he opened his eyes he saw multiple people in black uniforms and animal masks with the Kanji for fire placed on the forehead of the mask but he didn't notice this as his face contorted into fear before a resolute fire lit in the depths of his soul causing a deep scowl formed upon his face as he quickly attempted to pull his blade from its sheath causing the surroundings to grow comparably more tense before, but before he could fully wield his blade he ran out of arm length to free the blade causing him to lose his balance as he stumbled forward a few steps and trip over his own feet dropping his blade

"Anko, Hokage wishes to meet the boy I have been sent to fetch him" waving her hand as if to shoo him away she picked up the boy alongside his sword while speaking "I'll bring him there my self, your free to follow behind and gawk if you like" sending a wink his way as a light chuckle left her lips she left towards the Hokage's office

And that is how i become friend with Azlanc. I read his light novel and it was pretty good. I copy his style and make my own.
