After 8:34:00 of sleep Lucy finally woke up. The first thing she saw was the monster asleep holding her. She tried to move without waking him up and was successful at doing so. when she got off the bed she quietly tip towed out the bedroom door. She remembers that before she went to sleep he told her to follow one rule so far and she had to stay by his side. She didn't know if that ment to stay in the same room as him or not and when she was about to go back in the room her stumach started to make noices. So instead of going back into the room she went to the kitchen and look to see what there was to eat in the fridge. 
  After about 10min or so The monster woke up and painced a bit when he didn't see the little girl. He thought the girl run out of the house. He then got up and was about to leave the house to go see if she was still alive by some miracle.
   CHRASH!!! Lucy accidentally dropped her plate and when the monster heard the sound. He sight in relief and walked to the kitchen but was also worried because it sounds like she just broke glass. As he walked in the kitchen he saw Lucy trying to pick the glass up with her bare hands. So he gose over and picked her up.
  "I thought I told you to stay by my side" he said getting Lucy away from the glass
  "I was hungry. please don't be mad" she said as she looked down.
  "I'm not mad. I just don't need you doing stuff without me. you could have hurt yourself" he said as he bought the child to the living room. The child nodded.
  "can I go clean up my mess now" she said as the monster sat on the couch holding her.
  "No. I will go clean it up soon" he said looking her in the eyes.
  "but I made the mess. I should be the one to clean it up" she said as she tryed to brake from the monsters grasp.
  "you will cut yourself and it's a pain in the butt to get glass out of cuts" he said not letting Lucy go.
  "So what? I made the mess. I deserve it" she said not knowing how sad that sounds.
  "No you don't. Look kid I don't know what your parents have taught you but that's not how a punishment works. Plus what have you done to even deserve a punishment" he said questioning the girl, not happy about what she's saying.
  "I broke the plate. I left your side-"she said then the monster interrupted her.
  "those are all tarible reasons to get punished. Yes you did leave my side but you didn't go to a place that I could not find you and plus this is my house so you can leave my side here as long as you don't go outside" he said looking at her with a glare in his eyes. The girl a bit scared by his glare stopped talking. She nodded and stopped trying to get away from him.
  "stay here I will go clean up the mess." the monster said as he put the child to the side of him, got up and went to the kitchen. The girl was so confused on why he was cleaning it up. When she was with her mom and dad any time she did something rong her parents would slap her and make her clean it up or give her a nife and tell her to go to her room and make a certain amount of cuts on herself. She didn't understand why he was not doing that.
  When the monster returned the little girl was still there. He went and sat beside her on the couch.
  "so kid. I never got your name" he said trying to start a conversation.
  "oh my name's..." she didn't like the name Lucy so she quickly thought of a different name. "my name's Aonani" she said hoping he would fall for it. The monster nodded.
  "well Aonani you need a bath" he said because she just has not taken a bath today.

A friendly girl from the not so friendly family meats this monster. He was originally going to kill her but after seeing her situation he puts petty on the girl and ends up adopting he and now she is learning about the world with eyes and not just words.

Pino stopped the White Wolf's attack, but he was thrown far back as he tried to block the attack. Pino was quite surprised by the power the White Wolf possessed, even though he expected it. With high speed and great strength, White Wolf has an advantage that is difficult to push aside. Pino felt that this opponent really couldn't be dealt with with just a little seriousness. Therefore, Pino immediately used Blackening as soon as he knew that White Wolf would be difficult to deal with.
Pino draws mana from the body or the natural surroundings. He created a mana barrier around him while staring at the monster with a terrifying gaze. Pino did not give the White Wolf another chance to mess it up again. After Blackening and Mana Shield Pino activate. He immediately attacked the White Wolf. By closing the distance and attacking him fiercely, Pino rendered the White Wolf helpless. The swinging of his black katana is incredibly fast and difficult to handle. After all, the White Wolf already had a few wounds even though it wasn't that severe.
The monster's movements started to slow down and not as fast as before, but it was still far above the monster black wolf's speed. Pino couldn't turn away for even a few seconds, he really found it hard to endure when the White Wolf used his speed. Pino tried to stay calm even though the White Wolf kept trying to break his defenses. Pino knew that the White Wolf had given everything he could in every move. Unfortunately, Pino also didn't get the advantage when he launched an attack on White Wolf.
Whire Wolf uses Tornado, Air Cannon, and Air Protection. The three spells that White Wolf used when the monster tried to stop Pino and protect himself. Even though it couldn't bring about any major changes to its attack, the monster continued to run, and avoided Pino. The more he ran, the more difficult it was for Pino to finish him off. Pino tried to use the Dark Chain to stop the White Wolf's footsteps, but his actions were fruitless, and each chain met empty air.
"Damn it !!! The White Wolf is truly a monster that is difficult for me to deal with. The monster has unpredictable movements, it's hard for me to keep up with each of its movements. Not only fast when running, but even when he maneuvered he still had that fast speed. Now, what should I do to reduce the speed? Even if he was injured, he still had that fast. Isn't there a way for me to stop the speed? " Pino looked at the White Wolf anxiously. He simply didn't understand why the monster was so hard to endure.
When Derek had finished off half of the black wolf monsters, Pino was still struggling with the White Wolf. He did manage to injure it with some magic, but it didn't have a significant impact on the monster. Not only did it have no effect, but because of that attack, the White Wolf became even more violent, and could not be guessed anymore. Pino looked at the White Wolf calmly, he was trying to figure out the weak point that the monster had, the more he thought about it, the more difficult the monster looked for him to kill.
"Apart from possessing powerful magic, he is also endowed with an unusual physique. How do I deal with this kind of monster? He was almost similar to the Lightning Tiger, even his physique was not that much different from that of the monster. If, that monster tried to attack, he would definitely have one particular action. Really this is not good, not good at all. Its speed and strength are at different points. The longer I face it, the stronger the monster becomes. "

He simply couldn't allow the monster to continue to control the rhythm of the fight. There was no way Pino continued to be on the injured side, so he quickly moved like the wind. After he used Blacakening, Hand of Power, Alteration of Blood, and Mana Shield, as well as other reinforcing magic. Pino rushed to beat the monster with all the strength and effort he could muster. The mana consumption was enormous and drained quickly, Pino was sweating, and the blood that belonged to the monsters that had been killed by Derek gathered nearby. All the blood he turned into mana, apart from the blood itself, Pino also drew mana from his surroundings quickly, when he used all of the magic at the same time.
Pino saw the White Wolf's movement began to decline sharply, the monster could no longer move like before. Pino continued to approach the monster while swinging the black katana violently. Pino didn't care what would happen to him after doing all that. Even though he suffered the bruises from the White Wolf's attack as he swung his katana, Pino continued to attack him violently. After all, Pino felt that he could only erode White Wolf's defense, even to the point that his defense was no longer strong.
When he sensed the change in the monster's defenses, he immediately launched into an insane attack, which overwhelmed the monster. Pino really put his all into each of his attacks, his sword swings so fast and sharp. Then, he also used magic to amplify his attacks. Every time Pino casted magic, he was consuming large amounts of mana and quickly, so that his face looked a little paler. Indeed, this monster is not a monster that is easy to deal with, but also has high endurance.
After making his surroundings shattered into shape again, Pino stared at the monster who had wounds all over his body after a long confrontation with him. Pino looked at him calmly, and he didn't feel tired at all even though his body gave off an aura of exhaustion. Especially with his slightly chaotic appearance and sweat soaking all over his body, Pino still felt refreshed. He displayed a much higher strength, especially after he absorbed the blood around him and turned it into mana.
Pino did sense a new magic in his Grimoire, and it had been a long time ago. However, he neither used it nor tried to learn it. However, he felt that it was not yet time for him to learn this tier 4 magic, so he just let it go. Pino continued to do what he could as long as he ignored the new magic, and he had one good result, namely that he was able to control an insignificant amount of his dark magic.
Pino caught his breath for a moment, he recovered his strength while watching the movements of the White Wolf which had decreased very sharply. Pino released a large number of Dark Arrow and Dark Spear simultaneously. The mana around him began to turn into a large number of spears and arrows. Pino moved his katana while getting ready to use the Dark Chain and stop the White Wolf's movements. Pino remained calm, he was very excited to finish off this White Wolf, and he felt the opportunity was wide open.
When he saw the White Wolf's position was silent. Pino immediately used the Dark Chain, this time the chains were able to shackle and restrain the monster's movement. Pino didn't just stay still as soon as he saw the monster couldn't move. He quickly fired both of his magic at the monster, then he followed the magic movement. Pino darted rapidly towards the monster, his katana was already preparing to cut down the monster.
As soon as his magic penetrated the White Wolf's body, and its chains shackled him very tightly. Pino immediately slashed the monster with a strong force, he did not mess around with the swing he did. His attack not only chopped off the monster, but also slashed the ground leaving a mark in the form of a straight hole that split an area into two parts. However, just before he finished him, he was hit by the attack and sent back helplessly. Pino managed to decapitate him, but he was sent flying by the shockwave generated by the beast wolf.
"Uagh !!! Damn bastard !!! How can you still send me flying even though I've killed you? Shit !!! It really hurts. " Pino held his chest. His face was quite pale, he was exhausted and felt the pain of his body hitting a tree. Pino really did not expect that the monster could still carry out such a strong attack, so he immediately stood up and helped Derek who had not finished his task, even though he was bleeding without realizing it.


The continent of Ils, where magic is the main power of every human being, various kingdoms protect the continent from monster attacks. 

Magic is so glorious on this continent, then comes one figure who is the destination of everyone, having magic so powerful that it is able to destroy the city with just one spell he is known as the master of magic.

Each person has different magic, the magic element is divided into seven kinds namely Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Light and Darkness. Every human being has their own magic core that has 10 000 forms. 

Away from the frenzy of fighting between monsters and humans, a young man with a magic core in the form of a book is working hard to learn his first magic. Having an element of darkness the young man's figure is seen gasping for exhaustion as a result of training so hard, not far from the young man the middle-aged figure sees the young man with anger.

Ariya Pino was the name of the young man, born to a normal family but he had a large mana until he became the center of attention in his village.

Level Four (4)
Newbie is Smart:
"Oh yes, you are right. Haha, I will lead you in order to let you learn how to hunt a stronger monster." The leader suddenly changed his tone and patted his shoulder. 
Qiao nodded, "I will follow you then."
They were standing on the hill and the monster was at the plain ground below them. 
"We need to make the monster lose its balance. The giant body should meet the ground first and two chasers would then simultaneously attack at the vital parts of the monster. Do you understand?" He asked Qiao, who nodded. Qiao had met a monster who bore thorn defence but it was completely different to the one in front of him currently. A small and a lower level monster had so much differences compared to higher levelled monsters and as he was not experienced, he thought to follow the team leader. 
Qiao looked carefully at the monster prowling to observe its weakness. After a while of observation, it seemed that its neck part was one of the most vital part. And it would have been better if he chose to directly face from front. Despite what he thought, he went to hung around the vines and circled around the monster safely, keeping a distance of nine feet from it. 
One of the vines he took was thrown towards the leader and second kept another one in his hand. The leader then gestured and they pulled the vines to throw the monster on ground. 
"Come here and join us to attack it." the leader shouted to the third chaser. 
He also came and the forced down upon the monster. The leader then hurried to jump and attack, but at the meantime he forgot that the tail was free of any entanglements. As soon as he landed for attack, the tail came right away at him and the leader barely made it away. Still one of the horns brushed past his thigh and he started to spout vulgarities in pain. 
After letting the chaser taste the outcome of his attack, the monster started to clear the vines binding it off from its body and also looked toward the hill where chasers were standing. It got rid of the vines and howled toward the hill. The hills were not really high up and the monsters could easily scale them just like humans. But monsters needed to move their giant body with huge force while hunters could jump with the help of agility skill. 
"Save yourself." The leader reminded and jumped backwards; his movement was so much smooth that Qiao could not help but watch it first. This was a new move in his eyes in agility skill. It was similar to a backflip, but over a great height. It was something only capable by the athletes in his world. For a big hunter who had human physical traits with normal flexibility or joints, it would feel too hard to perform it. 
While thinking about that movement, the monster almost reached before him. Before it could give him a surprise attack with its tail, Qiao slipped underneath its body. While holding his weapon upward, he exerted force, leaving an injury at the neck part. Then he rolled on the ground to avoid the giant body trampling around.
The leader saw this and gulped. He was truly out of sense now, how did he tackle this monster with a big tail. If it was only a normal tail then there were few means to hunt it, but this was a horny tail. 
"Would you mind if we switch the one commanding the hunt?" he finally asked Qiao. 
"Sure, but remember my demand." Qiao did not go too formal this time. 
He has read the story of the stag who used to feel proud of its horns because of their beauty and admiration from others, but when it was chased by a pack of hounds the same beautiful horns had brought trouble and entangled it in the bushes when it was running in the forest. 
This monster also bore horns but these were sharp like thorns. No matter if the story was based on truth or false, he still thought he could use that story for a plan by changing it a little. He needed to set up bushes for this monster to get caught in it. Or something similar.
"Alright then. You both have to attack without taking break in the middle from the front part." He gave his first instruction and both the team leader and the other chaser got a huge shock from it. 
"Was he taking them as pigeons that could be sacrificed? 
Qiao has seen the agility skill of the leader and he was sure that he won't find it too hard to follow. He then himself went to the opposite side to grab as many vines as he could and started to throw and bind it in a mess of ropes. The monster was attacking and fending off the attack of two chasers while thinking to itself that it could cut off any vines or no matter how much the amount, he would not get tanlged. 
After accumulating a mess of vines, Qiao started to bind it around the trunk of a nearby big tree. It was not a permanent solution but it could give him enough time to seriously injure it. The tail was not only covered by the mess of vines but it suddenly came to halt because of the smartly formatted trap for the tail. 
Until now both of them were only doing mock attacks and keeping safe distance to distract the monster but when the tail did not appear to fend off the leader, he actually put a force to give a real attack. 
"Leave no room in hunting it down." Qiao shouted to remind them. 
His authoritative tone pushed the ego of the leader to the end and he was fuming while attacking. 
"Do you need to remind me?" he murmured under breath. He was sweating because the mock attacks earlier were really dangerous than actual attack as they slowly sapped his strength without putting any damage on the monster. And now he was immediately ordered to attack. He could only fume about it.

Kear stood in a quiet room. Tears fell from her face as she slumped to the ground. She was selfish, a child. She didn't deserve anything she had. She keeps hurting those around her. She is a monster.
 
She just slumps on her knees staring at the ground. She focuses on a piece of cloth and rope that were used to tie up Ziv. His face was full of rage, fear and disgust with her. She had hurt Heryan just a while ago and when Ziv showed up she thought she could maybe make amends with herself by helping him. But again she failed and as a monster she didn't deserve anything.

She wasn't sure how long it had been, but she realized that she had been in that same position for a while. She turned her head around her slowly looking at the three people here. A male elf that would have hit Ziv in the face if she hadn't frozen time. Sparkly night sky hair, brown eyes and dressed in some easy to move in clothing for exercise. He was the grandson of Glandriel. It was nice to see a familiar face, but under the circumstances it wasn't all that great. She had to step in the first place, considering her moping around in her void space, it wasn't ideal. None of this was.
 
Two other teenagers were there as well. Two siblings by the look of it. They shared bright blond hair, but their eyes were different. The boy had metallic orange eyes and like the Ayanni, was in slacks. It took her a moment to remember the elf's name. The other sibling, she had dark blue eyes and was dressed in combat gear. Her leather gloves were trying to hide Ziv from Ayanni before he could be hurt. The human boy looked to be trying to stop Ayanni from that.
 
Either way this whole situation was her fault. It has to be. She was a monster after all. So she placed her face in front of Ayanni's fist and resumed time. A loud smack and blood filled the monster's vision. The thing crashed into the human girl almost knocking her aside.
 
"What have you done Ayanni! Ziv are…"
 
The human girl looked at the monster in the room in terror as she drew her axe from her back. She picked Ayanni off the floor by his shirt and threw him into the male human's arms as those two took in the situation. The monster watched them get into a battle stance behind the girl before moving to flank if the monster moved.
 
"Who are you? Where's Ziv?"
 
The human girl shouted at the monster for it to respond to her question. The others didn't stay quiet either.
 
"Answer her, where is Ziv?"
 
"Aren't you the one that was with him?"
 
The siblings stared at Ayanni for a moment, then back at the monster. The monster bled from the nose and tears streamed down its face. A creature of evil and destruction, it stayed there unmoving, only to clutch its legs close to its chest. Before the others could ask the same questions again, the monster spoke.
 
"I'm a monster. Just kill me."
 
The monster was manipulating the group of three to kill it. It stared at the floor as the blood continued to flow down its face.
 
The boy on the right looked towards Ayanni and his sister as he asked a question.
 
"What do we do? What is happening?"
 
"Jev go get the guard. Ayanni clean up your mess. The chair and what you used to bind Ziv, take it somewhere else. If Ziv ain't here we don't want…" She paused for a moment. "We don't know what happened here and if you don't want to get in trouble you will stay quiet."
 
"Wait… I need to find out about that kid who had a tech pad! I need to know!"
 
"Get a grip Ayanni. You tied a kid to a chair and were interrogating him. Did you plan to torture him for answers?" She stared him down before turning towards the monster. "Let's talk about this later, in private."
 
As Ayanni took the chair, tear soaked cloth, and the rope away, the human girl walked over towards the monster. Moving slow and open, but still clutching her weapon. The monster didn't make a move.
 
"I don't know what happened. I don't know who you are." She paused again. The monster moved its eyes away from the floor to look at the girl. Even though the monster tried to keep its eyes away from the group, it had taken peeks. Now eye to eye, with the human girl did she continue. "My name is Paroppe. Can you tell me your name?"
 
"I'm nothing more than a monster. Just leave me in this room."
 
The monster knew the look on Paroppe was something of concern, but it didn't need pity. It was a monster. It deserved to be alone. I deserved to be hurt.
 
---
 
"… We found this boy in the library. He hadn't had any food or water. So yesterday we took care of him. Then when we looked away he was gone. We were looking for him, only to find that woman in this store room."
 
Paroppe explained to the guard at the door. A guard stood at the door. The monster did recognize the guard with the sunlight shining through the windows. Heruff the guard that was at the northern gate and who had been a part of the people who helped Heryan. The hair on his face and head were light brown matching his eyes. Of course his 'beard' was nothing more than scruff attempting to be a beard.
 
He wasn't the only guard, but he was the one in view with Paroppe.
 
Heruff walked towards the monster who still hadn't moved other than its eyes.
 
"What is your name?"
 
The monster didn't answer.
 
"Do you know where the boy," he turned towards Paroppe and then back towards the monster, "Ziv, do you know where he is?"
 
"Home."
 
"And what are you doing here?"
 
"To help Ziv."
 
"Why did he need help?"
 
Before the monster could answer, Paroppe quickly interrupted.
 
"I just remembered that Ziv had mentioned this woman. Yes he said that she was his… ugh… older sister. He said that she has 'troubles' and he watched over her. Ziv must have just gone out to find her after recovering."
 
"Interesting. Do you know how his 'sister' got that nose bleed then?"
 
"She must have…" Paroppe looked at the monster for a moment, before continuing. "I hit her. At first I thought she broke in, it was my fault and I'm sorry!" She looked at the monster when she apologized.
 
"I see and miss?" He looked back towards the monster as he knelt down. "Is that what happened? How is your nose doing?"
 
The monster didn't answer, just sat there.
 
"Well since that is cleared up, then we will leave. We can take that woman with us and ask her some questions there. I'm sure once she gets cleaned up we can get more out of her. Oh I forgot could you remind me what that boy looked like? After all I want to make sure her brother made it home safely."
 
As Paroppe described Ziv, the monster did nothing other than listen.
 
"Heruff…Sir, could I help her out? It's my fault and I want to repay my debt."
 
"That isn't up to me." He looks back towards the monster again. "Miss, do you want to stay here or come with me?"
 
The monster just stayed silent again. It wanted to be punished and staying with the group of three, was the best chance to be the selfish child it is.
 
"It's morning and crazy stuff is happening. I really need to get that admin job."
 
Heruff mumbled before standing up.
 
"Alright. It looks like she wants to stay here with you. Take care and we will keep an eye out for the boy, just in case something happens. Take care." Then he takes a louder, commanding voice. "Finish your statements. Everything is settled here. Meet me out front."
 
As he walked out of the room, Paroppe turned towards the monster and stared.
 
"Are you ok? I can help you clean up."
 
The same as before, the monster didn't answer. Just stayed there, on the floor in its own blood and tears. It was a mess and Paroppe acknowledged that fact.
 
"You're a mess and I want answers. I won't hurt you. Let me help you clean up and I'll get you something to eat."
 
The monster didn't react to the word food, but it did speak up.
 
"I'm a monster, so why would you help me?"
 
"Yes, you have said that. Give me answers and then I can decide what to do with you."
 
The monster gave a small nod, so Paroppe closed the door to the room.
 
"First can you tell me your name? Then I will tell you mine."
 
"Something like me doesn't have a name."
 
"Really!? Stop it already. My name is Paroppe. Can you at least tell me where Ziv is?"
 
"He's back home."
 
"You said that, but how did he get there?"
 
It took a moment for the monster to answer.
 
"Teleportation."
 
"Are you telling me that you teleported him home?" The monster nodded. "In turn you took his place?" The monster was confused. "You appeared where he was." The monster nodded at that. It took a few moments for Paroppe to search for another question, but she found it. "Is he safe?" The monster answered.
 
"He is safe. I made sure of it."
 
The door opened to Jev and Ayanni coming into the room. Ayanni was the first one to question why Paroppe was kneeling in front of the monster.
 
"What did you find out?"
 
"Ayanni, what I found out is that this mess is your fault. I had to say that I hit her, so things wouldn't get more complicated." She covered her face with her hands and rubbed the stress. It didn't help that much, as a headache was starting. "Ziv is safe at least."
 
"Where does he live?"
 
Jev spoke up this time. "Seriously man. Chill out."
 
"Ayanni! I know that you get obsessive about these things and you cannot control it, but try. Please try. Because you need to understand what you did. You followed a kid and when he passed out you brought him here. That was good! He was dehydrated and hungry, barely awake, but you took him today and tied him to a chair. Were you going to torture him if he didn't answer? He. Was. A. Kid. A child. What was your plan?"
 
"I have to know where he got the tech pad from. It's important!"
 
"Seriously, Stop. Right now I'm going to help her get cleaned up. So both of you get some clean clothes and then I will ask the questions." She glared at Ayanni. "I will ask the questions!" She repeats that last bit before sending them on their way.

Night time and the monster has just been following orders. The monster doesn't want anything for itself. It followed its owner to get cleaned up. It wouldn't act on its own. It wouldn't be selfish. It was no child, just a monster wearing skin.
 
Sitting at the table was the monster's owner Paroppe, the owner's brother Jev, and Ayanni. It was a square table and sitting across the monster was Ayanni. He stared at the monster, but the monster didn't focus on him. It ate its food as it was told.
 
"Tell me…"
 
Ayanni was cut off by the glares from the siblings.
 
"So he can shut up, can you answer him? Where did Ziv get that 'tech pad'?"
 
"His home."
 
"Where is that?"
 
"Far away."
 
"There you have your answer. Now chill out."
 
The monster scooped warm soup into its mouth. It made little noise other than the quiet chewing of meat and vegetables. The rest of the meal was quiet otherwise as each member at the table ate their food.
 
As night came, the two boys went to the living room next to the fire place. They sat on the floor to lie down. Each had a pillow under their heads. Paroppe was heading to her room, but before she entered she turned towards the monster.
 
"I'll make sure Ayanni leaves you alone. You can go, do whatever you want. The front door is over there."
 
She went into her room and closed the door. The monster just stood there with a blank stare at the door: unmoving.

I want to let everyone know that since the [Revisited], I had written a small part and then worked on another story. In that story, the MC from this one and that one had interacted. It is all canon and will reference each other after the Heryan story.

I did write this story long ago and have learned, but I'm still trying to get better.

First four volumes. (Don't need to be read to understand the story).The story follows the character through a world of their own creation. They would meet different characters over their journey and find a family to fit in. (First Person)

Volume 5 and on the story takes a different route. As a better writer (relative to my past writing). We follow the MC after the events of the first four volumes as the story takes the route of who the character. It takes place ten years after the events, for the MC, and about 400 for the world. Things are different, but more of the same. (Third Person)

While I think the story is fine, I know full well the first four volumes are a mess. I want to re write them so it is better, but that would take too much time and energy. I just write for fun and going through that isn't fun. But I know that if I want people to understand the story and not die reading it, I need to. So it is something I really am considering.
