 As usual, we spent Christmas with Donna's family, whose members tended to become religious on designated holidays. I had my job cut out acting as if I was confident about finding another job, which I wasn't. It was either an excellent effort or a wasted one; no one seemed to care. Donna's family was deeply into the life, death, and impending burial of an aunt called Consuela, who had inconveniently expired the day before Christmas. There was also the question of what would become of Consuela's Floridian condo; she hadn't left a will. It was a fascinating problem for all those gathered at the Christmas table.

 It certainly wouldn't have been better to spend Christmas with my family. My father is a former sailor and rarely utters more than twenty words a day, maybe forty if he's had a couple of drinks. My mother is similarly outspoken; they're true Scandinavians, with their ability to sit there in silence and make the air buzz. My younger brother Todd is positively extroverted by comparison, but he thinks I'm a bit of a pansy, pussy-whipped by Donna to be quite blunt, and anyway it's not one of those instances of undying brotherly love. Todd's a professional hockey player; not a great star, but not an unknown either. Once in a while, he gets himself into a group shot on the sports pages of national newspapers, waving his stick in celebration of a goal he hadn't scored. He's a bachelor, and has no idea of what goes on in married life.

 You may suspect I'm the kind of guy who asks his wife's permission to go to the can. It's not true. For instance, I'll reveal that this particular year, it was I who had made the plans for New Year's Eve. I'd bought tickets to a bash at a good club, and was hoping to spring a little surprise on Donna. I knew she would only remember about New Year's Eve during Christmas week, and then bring the subject up together with a couple of names of people who were throwing a party. That would be when I'd wave the tickets: surprise, surprise.

 As it happened, we practically had no personal contact until Christmas was over. Donna's father retired to a palatial house in the so-called country, and we'd been staying there for three very long days. The daily seance at the food-laden table took around six hours, on the average, and preparations for this grand event took up the whole morning. The evenings were spent in what was called the family room, where I sulked silently in a corner with a glass of sweet sherry while Donna and her family discussed aunt Consuela's condo, uncle Alberto's liver, young Fabio's tendency to get caught speeding with a fat joint sticking out of his shirt pocket, and other subjects of family interest.

The rich food and the sherry usually knocked me out by ten, at which time the conversation was just starting to get lively. I would retire politely and sleep like a log for ten hours; by the time I woke up, Donna would have been and gone – she got up at seven to help with the ongoing battle in the kitchen.

 The trouble began the moment we'd finished unpacking the trunkful of food that we'd been obliged to take home. Donna poured herself a glass of Dubonnet, lit one of her toy cigarettes and said:
"Well, you really outdid yourself this time."
"Could I have a drink, too?"
"Sure. Go ahead and help yourself. You didn't mind helping yourself the last three days. You must have gone through at least two bottles of Bristol Cream."
"Jesus Christ," I said, and went to the bar and poured myself a big Scotch. Donna frowned.
"That's just like you, to blaspheme two days after Christmas."
"Don't get Catholic on me, Donna," I said. I mean, she doesn't even go near a church on Sundays. I took a hefty swig from my glass, forgetting that I hadn't put in any ice.
"Could you elaborate on what you meant by saying I really outdid myself?" I asked, when I could speak again.

Donna snorted.

"Don't be ridiculous. You know very well what I meant. Sitting there with a face like thunder and swigging sherry like, like a homicidal lumberjack in a backwoods bar."
"I don't think homicidal lumberjacks drink sherry," I said. "I apologize for the face. But that was because I was dying of boredom. If only anyone took the trouble to talk to me - "
"They didn't talk to you because you were sitting there with that face."
 There was no answer to that one. I drank some more whiskey and took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry," I said. There was another, muted snort.
"I just hope things will work out better at the party," she said.
"What party?"
"New Year's Eve. Don't tell me you've forgotten?"
 I took a deep breath. I seemed to need lots of oxygen.
"Donna," I said, "You never told me about any party."
"I did."

I had the absolute, total certainty she was trying to pull a fast one. I don't forget stuff like that; but Donna does, and that makes her think everyone else does, too.

"You didn't. And anyway, I've made plans for us for New Year's Eve. I've bought tickets to a ball at a club."
"A club? And what the hell are we going to do at a club?"
"We could dance," I said.
 Donna laughed.
"Oscar," she said, "You dance like a disabled ape."

 That did it.

"You nasty little bitch," I said.

Currently within the main lounge of the Titan Tower the new members of the team were being introduced.

Those are basically Mareena and Damon. Ivy and Harley were simply guest that would help out at times.

" I understand you don't know all your powers but exactly can you do" An excited Garfield ask as he pour down a can of soda down his throat.

" My powers?" Damon mutter softly while he glance at the anticipating eyes of his new team.

Garfield sat across from him, wearing a red and blue T shirt and a black short. His hair ruffle with a dark green color. His light green eyes on the other hand were strain on Damon waiting for an answer.

Shifting his eyes from the 17 year old boy, Damon gaze across his other teammates. Starfire aka Kori was currently wearing blue jeans and tank top. She sat near Harley and Ivy trying to make friends with the two women.

Her speech had stop as she was also interest with Damon respond. So was Ivy and Harley.

Raven the farthest from the group sat alone while she read her book. She still wore her dark purple cloak but underneath wore a comfortable long sleeve blouse with a black pants.

Her eyes deep within her book she paid little to no attention to what was around her.

" Well super strength and speed. I have telekinesis, thermal, gravitational, lightning and solar energy manipulation as well" Damon listed warning amazed gaze from the four.

Base on what Damon said the group had form an complete image of what he could do. And that was league level material many thought in their minds.

" Really. I want to see." Garfield said intrigue. He had jumped out of the sofa and decrease the two distance between each other.

Damon smile as he did a simple demonstration. Using his right hand he created sparks of blue light before nuffing it out. He then create fire, ice, bright solar light.

During his demonstration he had attracted many intrigued gaze.

" How good is your control at the moment" Dick asked as he walked over.

" Reasonable I think. I can atleast not lose control of my powers" Damon said. 

" Oh, but I have to admit you powerful" Dick nod before saying. Glancing at the other member of his team that was socializing with each other Dick made an announcement base on info he gain from the league.


" I new member again?" Kori asked confused.

" Yes, Wonder woman nephew to be exact. Donna Troy" Dick said as he explained that Wonder Woman and Donna would be reaching the tower tomorrow. Wonder woman will be acting as the team major combat instructor to increase their combat abilities.

While listening this Damon could guess this was a way for the league to monitor him and Ivy. He was sure what for though as he thought they trusted him somewhat.

" Wonder woman will be teaching combat?" Kori repeated intrigued. She had always idolised the female hero. To be thought by her would be a honour.


" Anyway, that is basically it. Damon, Mareena. Although your new member you won't be going out until Wonder woman decided your ready so do your best" Dick said.

Damon simply nod while Mareena gave an unsatisfied pout.

" Don't worry, I bet you will be allowed quite quickly" Wally said as he lean in the seat beside her.

Ignoring the young speedster, Mareena strain her gaze onto Dick but didn't say anything. She was the princess of Atlantis and understood what it mean to follow orders as well as give order.


After Dick announcement the group was free to whatever they wanted.
Harley, Ivy and Kori decided to head out for Jump City Night life. With some advance holographic technology hiding their skin color was an ease allowing them to blend in.
Wally, Garfield and Mareena were planning to watch a movie in the lounge.

Kara on the other hand agreed to follow Damon to the training room.

He wanted to test out the full extent of his abilities. Batman training room was good but it was built for him and his non super partners.

The Titan tower however had numerous amount of super powered teen.

Reaching the fourth floor, Damon was lead into the training area by Kara.

The Titan Tower training room was divided into three section. First was the physique section that train a person physique. It contain weight lifting equipment, training mills and other high tech equipment.

The second section was the sparring section where members of the team would fight amongst themselves to increase their combat experience. There were five sparring room each about 20 meter wide and long.

The last section was the holographic simulation section. Within this section the team is prepared for any situation. It is a mixture of holograms and robots to create the perfect scenario for the team to fight. As for the different situations available such were airial battle, underwater battle, multiple enemies, civilian hostage situation, one main strong enemy and the list go on.

Entering the physique training room, Damon didn't dawdled and went straight to the weight.

Kara stood at a safe distance and watch as Damon began his training.

After a hour of training Kara couldn't help but look shock. Looking at Damon results she was truly surpise. These result almost identically match her cousin results meaning Damon could probably go toe to toe with her cousin.

His attack force was more than hundred thousand newton while he was nearing the light barrier in term of top speed, with out using his beast energy.

He could lift over a thousand tone and his durability was similar to diamond.

Covered in sweat, Damon walk slowly toward Kara.  His body was cool as the lost energy was being recovered quickly.

" So how exactly did I do?" He asked. He had left collecting results to Kara as he focus on testing his limit.

" Your almost as strong as my cousin. Im frighten what the result would be if you used your beast energy" Kara said as she showed Damon his results.

He wasn't really surprised by this though. He didn't think he was strong like Superman but base on his guess on what his other bloodline were combine with solar energy strengthening him he had expected an exaggerated result.

" So this is my limit. Im truly impressed with my physique though" Damon mutter out loud before changing the topic.

" It late now so I'm going to bath. You want to go out for dinner" Damon asked as he wipe the sweat off his forehead.

Kara on the other hand pause for a moment before saying.
" I guess that fine. Im feeling a bit hungry as well. I know I nice place downtown too" Was mutter as she face the floor.

" Oh, wait on me then I will be back in a quickie" Damon said as he was about to run off in a blur.

" Wait" Kara said quickly grabbing him. Stop in his motion by Kara kryptonian strength, Damon look back at the blond curious.

" Give me a hour to prepare" Kara said before she ran off in a blur.

" To prepare?" Damon ponder before understanding what he had just proposed.

' It does sound like a date he more I think about it. Should I clear up the misunderstanding?' Damon ponder before he vanish in a burst of lightning.

Damon decided against it as it would make the air around the two awkward, plus he didn't mind dating Kara. She was a beautiful young woman that had shown the most care toward him since this whole fiasco began.

Reaching his room he headed straight to the bath.

The auditorium was silent as the old dean continued to speak while introducing the special guests. He turned around and gestured towards the trio as he spoke, "I present to you these important guests that have come to aid with the HDP, which stands for Human Development Program. A new initiative enforced by all major nations for this new year; this is to aid in the successful transformation of all human life so that they may strive to exceed any potential dangers that might occur in the future. The three behind me are a part of the association that created the catalyst used to aid in individual evaluation and growth. Please join me in welcoming Section Leader Alton, Professor Marcus, and Specialist Donna."
Clap! Following the old dean's introduction, a series of clapping noises sounded as everyone had begun to applaud. However, out of all the students, only Evan and Rick looked at the podium with serious looks as their claps were softer and more obscure than the others.
Alton, who was previously searching the crowd for his spy upon hearing the announcement, shook his head before gesturing towards Marcus and Donna. They promptly walked forward, allowing their features to become clearer. Alton was a twentyish looking man with a slim face, a stubble of beard and long hair that reached his neck. Behind him was Marcus, a heavy-bearded man with a ponytail, and Donna, who was a mature beauty with light brown hair arranged in a chignon style, carrying a crate in her hand.
Out of the two, only Alton and Donna wore glasses, while the trio each wore a scientist outfit. Alton took the stand from the old dean as he took the mike and spoke with a smile, "It's an honor to be here to aid in the development of our species, I as Section Head of the HDP am pleased that we were able to reach this far. I know that many of you are probably confused and worried about what is going on, but today I am here to clear up this information. Our association had, in recent times, discovered a substance that might potentially prove to be dangerous for our kind. To resist and effectively fight against this newfound threat, we have been tasked with the sole mission of preparing every human with the necessary self-defensive and survival capabilities."
"Survival? Are we in some imminent danger?" Fatty Joe asked puzzledly.
Emilia soon showed a dark look on her face; she didn't think something so serious might occur in the future.
Evan looked at the two and chose to remain in silence; he didn't want to say too many things about the coming disaster, hints, and precautions are more than enough to keep things on track. Rick, however, seemed to be in deep thought, his eyes flashed with a strange look as he too remained in silence.
As Alton spoke here, he glanced towards Donna and Marcus and nodded. Donna then opened the box she had in her hand, as this happened, a floating camera zoomed in causing the projector screen to show its contents.
There, one could see a simple headband, one that had a few circuit-like lines on its surface that glowed in bright lights. Looking at it carefully, one would see that there was a dark, shiny material layered around its front that shone in an unusual light.
Evan was surprised as he thought, "So that's how it is, that's how they do it. To think I even skipped this back then, I vaguely recall people using this, but I had believed it to be some game. Sigh... I truly had no care about anything at all..."
"....." Rick also looked at this in silence, as he seemed as if he recalled something. Soon, he lifted his collar gazing at the black crystal necklace once again before his eyes widen in shock.
As this happened, he then shifted his sights on Evan, staring at him deeply, but he didn't say a word. Fatty Joe and Emilia looked at this headband, shown with curiosity in their eyes.
Eventually, Alton had spoken again, "I present to you all, the HDP Helmet, it is the personal training device that shall be issued to you, students. Please be assured that no harm will be done to your body. It is a perfectly safe and stable device. Now then, I shall explain to you how it works."
Alton snapped his finger as he said this, causing the projection screen to change as it showed a different scene. It was a scene many would find familiar— a view commonly shown from a fantasy world.
"Eh? Is this related to some kind of new game?" A person asked.
"I don't know I've never heard of any releases..." Another person said.
Fatty Joe's eyes beamed as he saw this, he looked at Evan and spoke, "Evan, you think that these helmets are game devices?"
Fatty Joe's words awakened Evan, who was sternly looking at the screen before him, he turned and looked at him before speaking, "I believe you'll find it to be much different..."
Rick, who was keenly paying attention to Evan, couldn't but grew solemn as he looked at the device with even more importance. Emilia, on the other hand, was a bit confused, but despite this, she paid close attention to Alton's words.
Alton didn't pause his words, he had continued his speech, "And that's why this device is certain to be 100 percent safe, you can be sure that once you place it on your head, there will be no side effects. In doing this, you will be able to enter the training field, an area by which you can train yourself in actual combat situations. You will find it to be a bit on the realistic side, but this is a necessary feature to allow for you to truly adapt and become more capable of combat within the shortest of times."
Alton then took a small box and opened it, revealing a series of pills. He then spoke again, "For every time you enter the world in the helmet, you must each take a single one of these pills. They are a bio pills, a uniquely developed pill that is a body enhancer drug that can stimulate your potential based on the recorded activities of your brain. You can be certain; this pill doesn't have any side effects as well..."
As Alton spoke, he then looked around at the various expressions of the students as if awaiting some questions. Not long after, a commotion had formed as some students began to doubt his words.
"Mr. Alton, I am still a bit confused, why do we need to train in combat? What kind of threat could we be possibly facing that it requires all schools on a global scale to enforce such devices and facilities?" The voice of the refined-looking Michael asked.
"That's right, why do we need to go to such lengths to practice combat?" Another person asked.
After the words of Michael and the other student, many others began to ask similar questions. Alton looked at everyone before he replied, "It's simple..."
As he said this, he hinted towards Marcus, who walked forward. Marcus had a grave expression as he spoke in a severe tone, "What I am about to show you is of utmost secrecy; not a word of it must reach outside. Though even if you do try to send it, it will naturally be blocked, the very act of doing so will not only lead to you being expelled; you'll similarly be confined into a military compound."
The faces of all students turned dark, as Michael and the others didn't even dare to utter a word. Fatty Joe now grew nervous as he felt Emilia's trembling hand on his sleeves. Yet, despite all this disorder, only two within the auditorium were seemingly at ease. Evan and Rick continued to look towards the podium, fixing their eyes on the projector with deep gazes.
Marcus seeing that he had everyone's silence and attention, nodded as he then pressed a button, as this happened, the projector screen flashed, and a view from somewhere on the planet had appeared.
Carefully looking, one would see a dense forest filled with animals and creatures of the like, bears, tigers, and even wolves. Yet, though these creatures looked average, what was peculiar was the fact that each of these animals had distinctive features.
Some of them were more than twice the size as their regular counterparts, while others either had an entirely unusual color or strange feature such as an extra tail or extra sharp claws.
Behind them was a strange-looking rip in space that glowed in a dark color as it spiraled around in a clockwise manner. As it spun, the earth around it would change at a slow and steady rate, growing dimmer as more time passed.
The instant the students saw this, they opened their mouths wide in shock, as they know that this was life and actual footage which was seen from the display.
"This... what is this thing?!" A student shouted in alarm.
Others similarly began to make such statements, Fatty Joe's eyes widen, and Emilia was trembling in fear. Yet, Evan and Rick only looked with a hint of surprise in their eyes.
Evan pondered, "To think it was revealed here, I must have never found out because it seems to have been forbidden as they were all sworn to secrecy. Not to mention, with my unapproachable personality at the time. I doubt I'd ever listened to Fatty back when we were dormmates, always to myself, except for her..."
As he thought to here, his eye looked at Fatty Joe for a bit before wandering across the room. There on a side meant for senior students; he saw Layla within a small group of girls.
Noticing her pale expression, Evan felt a hint of pity. Still, he hardened himself not to interfere too much so that she could at least develop to her previous standard. This segment was necessary; he wouldn't do anything to stop them from enhancing themselves. If anything, the pendant will only allow for her to not get too visible on RADA's radar, though for some reason, it seemed that she wasn't targeted in his last life.
At this time, Marcus, who had seen all their commotions, clapped his hand. It was as if a loud bomb had gone off in the room, as all the students became quiet.
Marcus then nodded as he spoke, "This is the threat that we will all face... It is something that, after doing a myriad of research, we have come to call a portal to another world. In other words, a Rift..."
Upon saying this, the mood within the room changed, as everyone grew silent, knowing full well that a shocking secret was about to unfold.

So my mind is in a toss up between Destiny and a book I've reading where a demon lord named Procell is building a town but I may do destiny before you the Guardian are around to shake up everything to the core and I've made a reference to another book by an amazing author their book is called Endless Path: Infinite Cosmos, the guy does great in it and i love them so give them a bit of love!

Its been been a couple months of driving and it seems Negan, who was supposed to jump us at the border. Hasn't yet made it to Georgia for some reason or another. So while our trip was basically uneventful, I explained everything to our new members. Who seemed pretty interested in it all mainly Duck the hyper rascal. So i used the workshop to modify my glasses, linking them to show my status when I think of it. So i passed them around to everyone interested. Which turned out to mainly be Bill, Kenny, Clementine, Duck, Carl, and Lee that were.

Bill however was very interested when I mentioned the Wakers. So I showed him the two live ones in the box after pulling it from my inventory. Seeing the hissing creatures Bill had a crazy war veteran smile. When I said they arent exactly an existing virus made of anything we know. Bill looked at us all then spoke something crazy but probable seeing how the world works.

"Lt. Chimera you said your abilities are basically supernatural. Something young and old people in places claim exist. Then what if the world pulled a fast one on us for being harmful?"

While Bill explained that the Wakers got extremely violent. That the box had a small round dent in it. Seems like they already hated my cure but really hate their role being guessed. That their hissing is solely towards Bill, who looks at the box smugly. Puffing a cloud of smoke from his Cuban 1980 cigar. Before handing the box back which I stored again. Where Carl, Clementine, and Duck screamed in unison.

"Can you create skills! Like how you created necromancer in our world!"

All of us adults looked at each other in utter confusion. Then it clicked if I could make skills, then why not make one to make use of these Wakers? So I laughed loudly like a mad Bill joining after he got the idea. Only Jim, Donna, Kenny, Doug, and Carly seemed lost. But explaining now will take to much time! I give my fellow war buddy Bill my glasses once again. While I take a praying stance real quick and pray towards the old god loudly.

"Old god who has given me these powers and this hell mode quest! If your watching please grant me away to make skills, for my survival and these peoples safety!"

While I hoping for an answer everyone heard my phone go off. With everyone looking at me gesturing to answer. I pull my phone out and put the call on speaker for everyone to hear.

"Hahaha! You really have met some interesting children my boy! So in compliance with your request I'll give you an app for that on your phone. Even some more money to make these skills of yours. But for those three children and old soul, for being interesting and making a good guess. I'll be giving you a little help by giving you a little power.

Clementine, you are courageous while young so your power will be a double edged sword. Its name is thus "Lions Heart" when in a dangerous situation you'll gain power to escape, but suffer backlash afterwards. Duck, you seem like a good child that tries cheering others up. Yours will be "Jesters Gail" if you try your best to motivate others. They'll gain the strength to push on and not linger on things. Carl, your a bit of a hard one but you do everything for the group.

Thus "Wolves Pack" is yours, if you find those you can trust they become your pack. Meaning everything is shared between you but when together your stronger. Finally Bill, you are a selfless man who will sacrifice himself for his friends. I give you "Emporers Sacrifice" its a one sided power that once you are alone on the battlefield. You'll gain the power and will to kill everything till no more enemies come. Just once it wears off your body shall turn to dust, your soul will become a guardian angel for your friends."

With that god hangs up and with that rather long call done. Four orbs of light appear before us all as they each shot into their host. peacefully merging with their souls, my phone vibrates as a golden app appears on it. However while we are all distracted with these events. Negan and his gang appears behind us as Negan whistles.

"Look at what we have here! Some brats, two old men, a black man, a wimp, a bitch, a pretty lady, a fat guy, and a weirdo! Now what do you all say to quietly surrendering and joining us?"

Negan had this smug proud look on his face while his bat was on his shoulder. His men surrounding us, but I don't have time for this so I just release Thine, and Rory. Once they step out of the truck, a guy tries stabbing Thine. Only to become a blood smear on the truck by Thine back handing him. Rory rushes around and kills his gang slowly, almost as if she wants Thine to play. Negan is watching this while confused as his men suddenly are being slaughtered. That he didn't even notice Bill sneak off and take him down.

"Bill don't kill him, I'm gonna use him as a Waker breeding slave!"

Bill only looked at me before giving out a chackle of interest. That once Negans men are all dead, I have Thine return inside. While having Rory approach Negan who Bill and Lee lift up. Seems Lee has guessed one of the skills I'll make involves the Wakers. Though he seems disgruntled he's still helping me out.... I always did love him from the game.

Negan could only scream curses at me as I showed his stomach and chest. To everyone before Rory bit him several times, a little over ten. So before she could make a thirteenth bite the Hive forced her back to the cell inside. Giving Negan a more powerful version of the cure, he was then guided to a free cell in the truck. Where he was strapped to the wall a bit roughly. By Bill, Lee, and Kenny as the rest of us remained outside. Killing walkers that approached us, before adding them to lab progress. Getting it right at the edge of a hundred, so I used one of the captured Wakers.

Once the cure was done it gave me the option to make a full one or delayed one! So I quickly gave two full ones to Jim and Donna as they are friends. Once administered their bites vanished completely leaving only scars. But remembering all of us have the virus in us ready to activate upon death. I have everyone else take it quickly before doing some blood test on the lab app. Grinning once I saw we're all clean! We'll die as humans peacefully now unless eaten by walkers.

Now without further delay I open up the golden app on my phone. To create some new skills for my self, but I noticed in the top left. Was the amount of money I have, God seems to have no sense of money. As I had more money than when I started in this world! Ninety-nine million plus my already good amount that finally updated from nine thousand six hundred. To one million guess humans count as exp but anyways I shall us this gladly!

I'm not a great writer or anything hell I can barely English my own English! Quality will go up and down a lot but I'm just trying to be entertaining in a free way. This books title is basically saying I'll be going to worlds that are less wrote about but their things I've heard of or know about a bit. There are a few random fetishes mixed in but its not really done much. Skips are frequent since people are sometimes known to just go right to the action. I own nothing of this series or any original characters from it that show up! Well except for Biazar, thats basically me I guess. Plus incase i forgot this some how I'm writing this freely my way so sorry if you don't like some things. This is also the longest thing I've worked on for a while so thats an achievement in of its self.

Chapter 9

Rina did not let go of Andy's arm. She's pulling the girl not realizing the turmoil written on the face. 

'Damn, why am I this nervous?'

Well, seems like fortune was on her side, the professor arrived while they were halfway to Rina's friends. 

Disappointed, Rina motioned her to get back to her seat which made Andy to exhale deeply in relief.

For the entire period, Andy could not concentrate on her lessons. Her mind kept wandering on something else. She was bothered by the gesture and expression Erika Leigh Parlam gave her awhile ago. She sat on the back stealing glances on the girl.

Yeah, that girl. That Rina's friend was Erika Leigh Parlam. Who would not know the girl? She's a beauty for heaven's sake. She's elegant, smart, dignified and obviously comes from a well off family. 

She has a charm of her own. Her skin  was beautifully pale and it looked soft. Her tresses of silky hair neatly swaying in her every move. She has a shapely figure; wasp waisted, a slender eyebrow, a sparking blue eyes, a pointed nose and… and… Andy face palmed realizing where her thoughts wander.

By lunch, Rina dragged her again but this time, there were  only the two of them. They're walking to have lunch in the cafeteria. Andy wanted to ask where are her circle of friends but did not bother anyway. They walked talking casually, like getting to know each other.

"Is it okay if a friend of mine would join us for lunch?" Andy asked.

"Yeah, sure." Rina answered. She has this vibe of an older sister. 

Not long, they took a table for four and seated opposite each other with their meals. Andy, loving her chocolate shake, savored the taste in every sip on the straw. 

Meanwhile, Donna arrived. Seeing  Andy's back on her, she slowly approached the girl and maliciously grinning. 

Rina noticed her. She just signaled her to keep quiet, then…

TAKK!

A four inches thick book landed on Andy's head. 

Rina gasped while Andy was coughing.

 The straw just stabbed her throat.  She felt like vomiting. 
Donna just hilariously laughed at her friend and then slide herself to sit.

"I'm Donna Rowan," she offered a handshake to the person seated opposite her without minding the state of her friend on the side.

"Rina Lacey," Rina shook her hand wearing a bewildered look.

Andy on the other hand, grabbed Donna's neck with both of her hand as she recovered. 

"You damned idiot." She'd gotten a hold of her friend's  neck and shook it hard but… but not enough to hurt her of course. 

Rina just watched them both fight and now able to smile as she realized how warmth the bond the two shared.

As the two finally settled, Rina shook her head.

"You seemed so close…VERY  close I would say," she complimented.

"We're childhood friends." Donna answered. 

"Way back when our sex organs were still developing." She added. 

Andy poked her side. She only shrugged. Rina too, just smiled.

And so they talk endlessly from getting to know each other down to some random things.

Be brave enough to take off the mask you’ve been wearing and be who you are underneath. I think in life, happiness comes from deciding to follow your heart over your fears.
 
So, let’s follow Kaileen Andy Lewis together with Erika Leigh Parlam in their journey through depths of finding, accepting and loving themselves despite the views and opinions of others simply because they view the world from a lens of impossible.

To her, this experience was no longer anything new, but it still evoked reverence from the bottom of her heart.
This was a power that didn't belong to humans, something that even demigods were incapable of!
I'll receive the stomach pouch of a Spirit Eater in two days. My Apprentice potion has already been digested… Finally, I'll become a Trickmaster. I wonder what Beyonder powers I'll receive… By advancing by my own abilities, Teacher will definitely place greater importance on me. Uh… I'll gather the ingredients Mr. Hanged Man require first, and then I'll do the sacrificial ritual all at once… Derrick remained silent for a few seconds, then he attached his Axe of Hurricane to his body and headed for the steeple.

It's a record passed down from the Giant King's Court? I wonder if there's anything related to the Kings of Angels… Derrick reached for the book, pulled it out, and saw that it was bound in a brown monster hide.
At that moment, on the upper level of the library, Colin Iliad was wearing a flaxen-colored linen shirt and a brown coat and standing there quietly, looking down.
His unkempt grizzled hair flailed in the breeze from the window, and his pale blue eyes were deep and reserved…

Wednesday, 12 January. 5:40 p.m.
The sky was dark and cloudy, with deep blue waves undulating across the sea.
The White Agate bobbed up and down in this storm, like a toy in the palm of a giant.
"This is the sea. No matter how powerful one is, one will appear insignificant in front of it." Danitz stood by the window and enjoyed the scenery outside. "Fortunately, we're almost at the City of Generosity."
From the moment they left Bansy Harbor, the White Agate's journey had been smooth-sailing. With the help of the wind, it reached a stable speed of 15 knots. Hence, even though they arrived at Tiana Port a little later than scheduled, they completed the entire journey half a day earlier.
That is to say, the White Agate, which was scheduled to arrive at the City of Generosity on the morning of the 13th, arrived on the evening of the 12th.
Hearing Danitz's reflections, Klein just glanced up at him, then looked away and continued his contemplation.
The more he played the part of Gehrman Sparrow, and the more he had to force himself to behave in accordance with his persona, the more deeply he realized what kind of person he was. When faced with different situations, he realized that the choices he really wanted to make were different from Gehrman Sparrow's.
For example, he would've responded to Danitz by idly chatting with him about the weather at sea and the disasters caused by those terrible storms, but Gehrman Sparrow wouldn't. He had to be cold and reserved.
The more there are such differences, the more I recognize myself. Klein sighed inwardly.
This was something he hadn't experienced when he moved about with his identity as the private detective, Sherlock Moriarty. Back then, he didn't have to disguise his personality and had just been himself.
I feel like I've digested my potion a little… However, Gehrman Sparrow has traits that are similar to myself. At the very least, when choosing to disembark and entering Bansy Harbor to save the others, I overlapped with this identity of mine, and there was no difference… Of course, it could also be said that I was adding a certain kind of persona into the mix. Beneath Gehrman Sparrow's gentleness and madness, he has a kind, brave, and compassionate heart that values relationships. Heh heh, I can't boast about myself. If I had known earlier that Bansy was Binsy, I-I would've most likely been terrified… Not necessarily. At the very least, the danger which was divined was within an acceptable range… Klein thought, summing things up as he engaged in self-deprecation.
This made him more aware of a problem; although playing the role of a purely fictional person could help him digest the potion, he needed to replace an existing identity to speed up and improve his progress. He needed to gain the affirmation of people from the other person's interpersonal relationships, feel the corresponding emotions of joy, anger, sadness, and immersing himself in them, but not getting obsessed.
Become anyone, but ultimately become yourself in the end? And get feedback from the people involved? Klein looked at the pale yellow carpet, his mind racing. 
Seeing Gehrman Sparrow without a response, Danitz spread his hands helplessly, feeling bored out of his mind.
This crazy guy is good in every way other than making me do what servants do. There's only one thing, he doesn't like to talk. There's a communication barrier with him. If this goes on, I'll definitely go crazy…. Fortunately, I'm finally at Bayam. I can finally be free! Danitz felt that he would sooner or later develop a habit of talking to himself when faced with a similar silence.
After a while he saw Gehrman Sparrow look up, smile, and say, "You can tell me about the pirate point of contacts in Bayam."
…Dogshit! It's better if you don't say anything! Danitz's expression twisted.

At 6:15 p.m., just before the storm arrived, the White Agate docked smoothly and arrived at the capital of the Rorsted Archipelago, Bayam, the City of Generosity.
It was also known as the Spice Archipelago, and it was home to a variety of exotic spices, with the plantations of these produce being mainstays of the economy.
The Blue Mountain Island, where Bayam was located, occupied more than half of the archipelago which was mostly covered in forest. It had gold, silver, copper, coal, iron, and other minerals, as well as a plentiful variety of fruits due to the particularly fertile land. For these reasons, the first batch of colonists named the seaside city they built the "City of Generosity." They believed it was a land of treasure promised by the gods, where it flowed with milk and honey.
Klein picked up his suitcase which Danitz packed, and he left Room 312, entering the corridor that led to the deck.
Without any surprises, he met Donna's family, Cleves, and others.
The two siblings were still a little afraid of Klein after the fright he gave them. They hid behind their parents and bodyguards and didn't dare to speak, appearing like deflated balloons. 
Klein nodded slightly as a form of greeting.
At this moment, Urdi Branch hesitated for a second and then took a half step forward.
"Mr. Sparrow, will you be staying in Bayam?
"If I wish to hire—no, request for your help, how can I contact you?"
He's indeed a businessman with a spirit of adventure. Even if he's afraid, he still wishes to befriend someone with Beyonder powers… Klein thought for a moment. 
"What newspapers are in circulation over here?"
"The Sonia Morning Post and the News Report are popular in the archipelago," Urdi said without any thought.
"Put an advertisement in the Sonia Morning Post for three days in a row asking to buy Damir's special cured meat, and leave an address. I'll go look for you, and if I don't show up three days later, it means I'm at sea again." Klein was careful to give a one-way method of contact.
"Alright." Urdi exhaled and smiled.
Cleves and the others expressed their gratitude once again and left the cabin in an orderly manner.
Noticing the gangway in sight, Donna suddenly slowed her pace and stepped back next to Klein, raised her face, and bit her lip.
"Uncle Sparrow, s-since that kind of power definitely brings about threats and madness, w-why did you choose to have it?"
She had thought about this question for a long time before finally mustering the courage to ask.
Klein was startled, and he instinctively formed a smile.
"For my dream."
Then he lowered his voice and said two words, "And… protect."
Protect… Donna mumbled the word in a slightly lost voice, picked up her pace, and caught up with her parents.
After watching the Branch family leave the White Agate, Klein retracted his gaze and said to Danitz, "You're free."
Ah? For a moment, Danitz wasn't used to it.

Han Yixin and Zhao Mingzhe were startled by a ringing mobile phone. Through his embrace, she pushed herself to reach out towards the bedside table. 
She was about to interrogate her husband, and someone just picked out the perfect timing to interrupt.
She tapped to answer the familiar yet unsaved number. "Hello!"
"Xin-xiiiinn!" a loud voice came shouting from the other end.
Han Yixin reflexively pulled the phone away from her ear.
When the shouting voice turned to silence, Han Yixin put the phone back on her ear and scolded, "Donna Yang, are you trying to turn me deaf?!"
Zhao Mingzhe was shocked. So his wife could act like this towards a person. 'Wait, Donna Yang? Sounds familiar...' he thought.
A hearty laugh was heard from the other end of the call. "Xin-xin! I'm back in City B!"
"What?!" Han Yixin broke free from her husband's embrace as she shoot up to stand. "When?!"
"Last night..." Another hearty laugh was heard. "So, can I abduct you later for lunch?"
"Uh...sure..." Han Yixin glanced at her husband. "Where d'ya wanna meet?"
Zhao Mingzhe was not worried since he heard a woman's voice, but he furrowed his brows when he  realized he will be left out for lunch. He was actually looking forward to his wife's cooking after eating in different homes the day before.
Han Yixin nonchalantly informed him of her plans for the day. Then she went into her walk in closet and sighed.
She knew she will be going out with her friends.
Zhao Mingzhe overhauled her closet so all her things were brand new and in season. They are gonna freak out.
She could still remember how she met them.

Han Yixin kept a low profile throughout primary up to junior high school.
On her first day in high school, she had no empty table to eat alone in the cafeteria. Her high school had more students than her previous schools so tables are hard to come by.
As she held her food tray, she had a deep frown as her eyes kept darting, still continuing the search.
Suddenly, she saw someone waving an arm. It appears like the girl was looking at her, but she would not believe it easily.
She looked behind her, expecting another person.
However, no one was on the same direction as she was.
Suddenly, the girl who was waving at her shouted, "Han Yixin!"
Han Yixin was flabbergasted. She did not know anyone in this new school.
She hesitantly went over the table where the girl was seated.
When she was a step from them, she asked, "Uhm...do I know you?"
"Well, don't ya wanna know?" the girl with a short colored bob flashed a smile.
"Donna..." Sitting opposite her is a more low-key girl in a longer, darker hair, seemingly trying to scold her.
"I'm not doing anything, Lizhen." The girl named Donna looked back on Han Yixin. "I just...we would like to invite...oh, just sit with us!" Losing her patience in explaining, she grabbed Han Yixin by the shoulder and made her sit beside her.
"Yeah! Alright! I'm Donna Yang..." she held out her hand to shake.
Han Yixin initially frowned but shook her hand in the end. 
"Woah...your hand is warm...are you running a fever?"
"Uh...no...my hands are naturally warmer than others'..." Han Yixin was still choosing her words.
"Oh, solar hands!" Donna Yang made a single clap. "Oh, by the way, this is Qin Lizhen." she pointed at the girl sitting opposite her. 
Qin Lizhen smiled back then sipped her juice.
"She's less vocal than I am...but her father is the chairman of QS scents." Donna Yang continued to introduce.
"Donna!" Qin Lizhen scolded.
"What? I'm not telling lies!" Donna Yang turned to Han Yixin. "And you...heiress of the famous hotel chain aren't you?"
Han Yixin's eyes widened. "How...how did you..."
"Heh! My mother is a researcher in a big network, and my hobby is reading through her papers."
Han Yixin lowered her head. She had been successful in years for not grabbing attention. Just who is this girl?
"Hey, don't worry. I'm not gonna tip you off to get kidnapped or anything. I'm just curious why a girl of such background has never been popular in school. Are you that shy, Darlin?"
"Donna, not all people appreciate your sudden closeness..." Qin Lizhen butted in.
"See...the good student sticks with me. I'm harmless." Donna Yang winked at Han Yixin as she bit on a carrot stick.
"Yeah, yeah...you won't bite. Everybody gets it. Let's eat now before break is over." Qin Lizhen gave a soothing smile.
From then onwards, Han Yixin was never alone.
In other words, she let people into her world.
Donna Yang wanted, and had the right appeal to, enter the entertainment industry since then.
When they went shopping, she would always pick out combinations for Han Yixin.
"Xin-xin, try this skirt with that top." she said as she shoved the item into the fitting area.
"But this top already has a pair of pants which go with it..."
"Trust me...c'mon!" Donna Yang pushed her friend back into the fitting room.
"Hey, so persistent! You want to be an actress or a stylist?" Qin Lizhen scolded.
"An artist need to be stylish!"
"What, you're also grooming Xiao Xin to be an actress now?"
Donna Yang had a hearty laugh. Her laugh had always been contagious.
Their laughter stopped as Han Yixin went out from the fitting room.
"Oh...whaddya know..." Qin Lizhen whistled.
"Heh...told ya..."
.
Remembering their youth made her smile. Being with the two of them took her outside her comfort zone for sure, but ìt was quite an adventure without being too dangerous. She would have regretted missing out in any of them.
They only thing they failed at in introducing to her was a boyfriend.
She was just glad to have them at her wedding.
Of course, she doubts that her otherwise icy husband would remember her friends which he just met once.
Han Yixin sighed another time in her walk in closet, then took an unusual pair of clothing from the hangers.

Married accordingly and conveniently, she was prepared to be tied within a loveless relationship. She had nothing to lose anyway.
However, since she never expected anything, she was caught off-guard by what she gained.

He obediently shackled himself, not bothering to take a second look at her. He just signed the papers, got into the venue and let everyone take photos.
She was not an eyesore, but they were only civil, at times pretentious.

If loving can only be done with the heart, is it impossible for someone to learn it?
