The room was bright for Seoyeon. It wasn't too dark or too bright but the room had the right light for her. Yet when she saw how the smile that had always continuously danced on Jung Hwa's lips had disappeared, she felt as if the surrounding of the room had turned dark. She had stayed by his side for a short while but never did she saw him looked this angry. Now that she had guessed Jung Hwa's hatred to witches she didn't know whether she was correct; it made herself wonder what story Jung Hwa had that lead to him hating the witches.

Trying to be careful with the mood, Seoyeon spoke, "I thought witches are only women." she said not trying to make offense but ease the mood she noticed was crumbling down.

"Oh no, there are many and it could be both men or women. The witches' blood came from our ancestors. As my great great grandmother, the blood continue to me who is next in line of the generations." Min Beomgyu then turned at Jung Hwa who glared at him coldly and spoke, "Since my great grandmother's have sworn to work on the side of the Associates, I am also one who is not participate in the fight, Mr. Jung. I am here to help vampires and the society of humans."

Jung Hwa for a long while finally gave a smile but it was far from a kind smile, "I know or else, your head wouldn't still by your neck now. I would have rip your head the moment you reveal yourself." and he narrowed his eyes on the neck. Jung Hwa's anger came rooted from his childhood but he knows who was his enemies and Min Beomgyu was not one of them.

Min Beomgyu could clearly tell the pureblood was being sarcastic with his words but to know that the man was capable in putting to action the words he had uttered, he could g help but gulp at the thought and his smile crooked in nerves.

Jung Hwa turned his face at Lee Young, the smile he had also turn sharp at the man, "So much for no witches, when there had been one lurking around, isn't it?" Since long after his mother's death, Jung Hwa had worked his way to uncover the mystery of witches. To say that the being that had been exterminated centuries ago was hard for anyone to believe in but Jung Hwa knows what he seen that day. The witches was still alive, waiting for their time to come and his mother's killer is still outside.

Lee Young bend his neck, the expression he had softened as he said, "I'm sorry, but the matter is that Beomgyu isn't the witch you are searching for. He is different."

Min Beomgyu then took to speak, "There are two types of witches, Mr. Jung. One is like me, who have the ability to make potions which works to heal are called the white witches. Another one is the witches who used the help of black magic to perform spells using sacrifices, and they had used their spells and potions to kill vampires and human alike. The witches that was told to be exterminated in the past are the latter one; the dark witches. We are different kind of coins. While white witches hope a peaceful life, dark witches are hoping to have their own world. Where they would be the ruler of the world with their power. Now most of the white witches don't even know they are one as their ancestors had kept their identity as secrets. There are only a few including me who are white witches." 

Taking the informations, Seoyeon kept in mind the differences of the witches. White witches could be said as the kind side as they mostly do healings while dark witches crave to have their own position. If it was true, then the witches last time who she and Jung Hwa had fought with were the dark witches. As she muddled in her thoughts, Seoyeon pulled the sleeve of her blouse and her fingers rubbed the skin she felt itching.

"Possibly from what I heard, the witches that had killed your late mother is them, the dark witches." Min Beomgyu asserted, the room was silent as Lee Young became the only person who seemed to have known this beforehand as surprise weren't shown on his face.

Seoyeon's inky eyes stopped at Jung Hwa who hadn't said anything with his lips set thin. Her question she asked just a few minutes ago was answered by Min Beomgyu. When there was time when his childhood was brought up in the aquarium, Seoyeon wondered what kind of childhood Jung Hwa had. Was his parents not in a good term? But now she knows it was because his mother had died. She saw how Jung Hwa's eyes that have always gleamed under the lights were now filled with shadows. His glowing eyes had turned deep like the color of blood. And her heart felt pained.

It was a while until Jung Hwa spoke, "If as you said the dark witches had been exterminated, the witches in the incident this month, what are they?"

Min Beomgyu drew his brows slowly and exhaled when his mouth was opened, "They are dark witches. I don't know how could they resurface after centuries but the fact that they had kidnapped people means they have come back to continue their purposes which failed centuries ago."

"To create a world of their own." Jung Hwa stood up from his seat and Seoyeon followed. He turned at Lee Young to say, "Can I take that Associates would have the dark witches killed as their priority?"

"The announcement would be made tomorrow. Deok Ji Hyeang and other section of the Associates would make it as their priority and the hunters requested themselves to participate." Lee Young replied for Jung Hwa to nod. It was somehow unlike Jung Hwa for him to speak little with clear words exempted from sarcasm. Perhaps this was him but as he became calmer, Seoyeon turned to worry. She didn't know what he was feeling right now but when a loss of family is there, she could feel the pain that she knows existed in Jung Hwa's heart.

She later found herself fall into the world of vampires. In the world where cunning beings lived, Han Seoyeon only have him. Will she be able to come into term with her new life? Or will she be able to answer to his feeling, reciprocate what he felt?

Roland was supervising the development of new weaponry, specifically anti-aircraft weaponry. This had been an area that was long neglected by Roland since there were no aircraft in this world and the only one who could make any was him. However, after Steven informed him of the demons capabilities, specifically the threat of the flying Devilbeasts, Roland realized that he needed to create some dedicated anti-aircraft guns. It was better to start now to create some properly rather than repurpose machine guns in a hurry when the Devilbeasts come.
 
Roland wanted to eventually build airplanes, as land to air defensive emplacements can only go so far. He remembered about how early planes fought against each other in dogfights, each plane making quick turns and impressive maneuvers. They were things of beauty. Faced with planes armed with machine guns flying in such an elegant fashion, the Devilbeasts will have no way to run and their spear throwers are too slow to hit an airplane. Unfortunately, he would still need more time to develop an internal combustion engine to power the airplane so he would have to make do with anti-aircraft flak guns instead.
 
The parts for the prototype had just been made and Roland was inspecting them. The main barrel of the gun was very long and had a caliber of 88 mm. The large gun would be put on an adjustable platform to allow the angle of the gun to be changed. Roland also didn't forget to add a metal barrier to shield the gunners from spears thrown by the demons. Once the gun was completed it would be able to shoot demons that are at high altitudes and far away. This would prevent demons from hovering out of range and then suddenly descending to launch their spears.
 
While Roland was occupied with the new anti-aircraft gun, a messenger entered and informed Roland that more witches had arrived from Sleeping Island. Roland went to greet them.
 
Once Roland reached the docks, he was met by Tilly who greeted him fondly. He was then introduced to the other witches. After the church had lifted its ban on witches and the witches of Sleeping Island saw Roland's success, they decided to move back to the mainland. Now, Roland had to deal with a large number of new witches, many of which might not want to obey him. Integrating them could be a challenge.
 
Roland introduced the witches to Neverwinter and starting telling them about what a great place it is. Then, he had Wendy lead them on a tour of Neverwinter. Many of the witches were quite dazzled by the various technologies in Neverwinter. Several of the apartment buildings had been set aside to house the new arrivals.
 
The next day, Roland and Tilly started talking to each other.
 
"So how have you been doing so far?", Tilly asked Roland.
 
"The past year has been rather productive for me", said Roland. "I have finally conquered Graycastle and consolidated control. The technological development has been progressing as well. Soon I will be moving onto the next stage of my plans."
 
"That is very good", Tilly responded. "I have been working hard trying to keep the Sleeping Island witches together. They are quite divided and it was pretty difficult for me to convince them to come here. It was very helpful that they were impressed by how you managed to force the church to stop hunting witches. I hope that you may be able to organize them to better make use of their abilities."
 
"I understand. I will try to meet with some of them to get to know them a bit better and to try to figure out their goals", Roland said.
 
Soon, Roland started meeting with the other groups of witches from Sleeping Island. Although they were friendly, they were somewhat reluctant to subordinate themselves to Roland. However, Roland was able to convince them to adopt a partnership where he could help them find jobs and pay them money to stay. The witches were all quite shocked by this offer since it seemed unbelievably generous and it seemed to only benefit them. So, they didn't need much convincing and Roland was able to gain access to many useful abilities.
 
One meeting was more interesting than the rest. When Roland met with Heidi Morgan, he was already informed about what she had done, both by Steven and by information from Iffy and Annie. So, he was quite wary of her.
 
When Heidi entered, Roland asked her to introduce herself.
 
"My name is Heidi Morgan", she said. "I am the leader of the Bloodfang Association, one of the strongest groups of witches on Sleeping Island. My witches are all very powerful combat witches who are well trained."
 
"That is interesting", said Roland. "So, what do you think about working with me?"
 
"I admit, I had initially looked down on you since you were a commoner", she said. "But your actions have shown that you are by no means ordinary." Heidi leaned in closer. "I think that you are worthy enough to have the Bloodfang Association cooperate with you. We are the premier group of combat witches and you will find no stronger force than us. You will find it in your benefit to work with us." Heidi Morgan smiled at Roland. "I think that you will find that we will be the witches you rely on the most."
 
Roland leaned back and sighed. He was entirely unimpressed with Heidi Morgan's attempts to have him support her. Whatever she was scheming, he wouldn't be a part of it. "The truth is, what I really need now are assistant witches, not combat witches."
 
"What!", Heidi Morgan exclaimed. "How could assistant witches be more important than combat witches. Military might is the backbone of a nation."
 
"Neverwinter has created weapons far beyond your imagination." Roland began expounding on his capabilities. "We have cannons that can obliterate targets too far away for you to even see. What is more, these weapons can be used by ordinary people. A thousand of my soldiers armed with guns can obliterate all of your witches even if they don't have God's Stone of Retaliation. This is what true power is. One of my witches named Agatha has the power to control ice. She can become a formidable fighter with this ability. Yet, what I have her do is to produce chemicals for me. You may think this is a waste but consider this - the stuff she produces in one day is enough to blow up this entire castle."
 
Heidi was speechless after hearing what Roland said. Then she said, "I am the descendant of Archduke Morgan of the Kingdom of Wolfheart. Now that the church has taken over, I have a legitimate claim to the throne. If you support me to regain the Kingdom of Wolfheart I can give you a third of its territory."
 
"No thanks", Roland said. "I do not need more territory right now. Also, we are working together with the church right now to defeat the demons."
 
"The church!" Heidi was angry after hearing the Roland was working with them. "Even though they have changed they have killed so many witches in the past. They are the enemy of all witches and I will never accept working with them!"
 
"We share a common goal now, so we should let go of the past", Roland said calmly.
 
"We cannot forgive their past sins just for the sake of convenience." Heidi Morgan stormed out of the room.
 
"Have it your way", Roland muttered once Heidi Morgan had left.

              "That is what we were made from. A vast of the universe is created by the quantum realm and there is always messing with the mind of people and understanding it is difficult. So please think about it and try to understand something that is part of the universe is confusing and hard."

              "Well, Sarah there is always a way to look at the quantum realm as small cells that live throughout the world and they all around us and it can also hurt your mind and you will lose your life if you not holding yourself together so keep that in mind."

It was four months before Yoki and the others had gone to the Japanese world and fond Roki. Yoki had led the other across the land and the meet up with Athena and they trying to find Roki but manage to figure out Morrigan had blocked their connection from Roki and so they had to defeat her to find Roki and bring him home.

The Battle of the Kingdoms
One of the members of the House of Luck was trying to find their grandfather's notes on their enemies and Luck had found out about his great-great-grandfather holding his trident with powers that will lead him and Roki and Yoki to the past to meet the first wielder of the trident of the lost city of Atlantics. Nyxt, the goddess of ocean and war.

There are the Genesis a sworn enemy of the House of Luck they are beginning to rage war on the planet.

Vol 6 and 7
In this two-part Volume, there are stories about the Iron Tower that was told to be wrong but the old age is wondering about the story and the weapons that lie there but they, not the only ones. The Phantom Dawns is after those weapons and also after the truth about the dark world also.
This takes place before Roki and Yoki discover each other and also explain what happens to Bridget.

The First Age Arc
Roki sent Fei and his two sisters to the greek world and investigate Loki's whereabouts and Roki was curious about what is Third Keys and what he finds out about the dark world and the dark plains.

This is based on the Third keys sega that needs to be made by this arc and you need to read about the Third Keys book that is book 1, book 2, and also book 3 of Third Keys sega.

Ayana: this is incredible, but what is the price, magic has rules and for all activities there are consequences, to be able to use magic freely you need to lose something, right?
alecs: Very intelligent, well I don't know very well about magic, but I believe that when choosing one path, it would no longer be possible to access the other, that is, if you choose darkness you will not be able to use light

Penny and the rest of the party stared at the witch who had turned to dust. 
For a witch to turn to dust because of getting burnt or killed by the silver bullets wasn't anything new but since Penny had met the male witcher in the house fo the magistrate, she didn't understand why her needles nor the bullets had helped when it came to killing them completely, which was how the body had been taken to the council for Murkh to take a look at it. 
Knowing and understanding that the witch had been operated to turn to a vampire, Penny had created the potion of poison accordingly for the black witches which had worked like a charm. 
"Witches are not supposed to be taking part in the council," she heard the vampire who was leaning against the tree speak to no one in particular. His face was contorted in pain as he tried to catch his breath, "What's going on, and what was that thing?!" 
Like them, the man stared at the octopus-like tentacles that had left a mark on the ground, having a stark contrast of grey dust against the muddy brown and black ground. 
"There are black witches who have entered the exam and want to get through the council for their own use," Penny filled him in as this man appeared to be safe to talk to. He was a proper vampire who had not been turned into a vampire from being a black witch, therefore, she said, "There has been a certain movement in the background of the world where the black witches are trying to regain their powers by getting the black magic which had been locked away for several years now."
The vampire pushed himself from the tree and placed his hand on his back trying to stretch, "You're telling me there are more powers to the black witch than what they are now?"
Penny gave him a nod. The black witches were more powerful as they were corrupt. It was usually the corrupt creatures who were powerful because of their reach to different sources. If the black witches were returned with the unbound magic that was hidden and still not completely reachable to them, then it was possible that it wasn't just the pureblooded vampires who would be strong but also the black witches who would end up in a war. 
The reason why the black witches' magic was locked away was that the first generation pureblooded vampires must have predicted something. This had led them to the pureblooded vampires to get the white witches to lock the black witches' power but in the end, even the white witches were feared for the damage black witches had done on the people. 
"So what are you white witches doing here?" asked the vampire curiously, "You do know that witches cannot enter the council, right?" 
"Yes, but the black witches who are in the exam right now can enter the premises. Their bodies have been manipulated," Penny explained to him to hear him comment,
"Clearly I can see that. She spoke about improvisation and here I thought she was a vampiress."
Looks could be deceiving, thought Penny to herself. Who to trust was like walking on a thin thread while not trying to step wrongly on it for it to break. 
"Why is she killing the people?" the vampire asked wanting to know what was going on as he felt involved. He had come to complete the task but he didn't know there were going to be so many deaths. He had heard about the second exams but who knew it would turn to a gore.  
"So what are you doing here then?" the vampire continued. Sister Jera wiped the sweat before walking towards the main body that had been burnt, bending down and collecting the samples of it.
"We are here to catch the black witches. Before meeting you, she said there are thirteen of us but with her gone, there are twelve of us remaining," which meant the three of them were in the clear leaving nine more examinees as suspects, thought Penny to herself, "We need to find and kill them. If possible bring one alive."
"Why not spray on them and get the answers?" on his question, Penny pursed her lips. 
"If it was that easy, the council would have done it but it seems like someone has been giving them information," the witch knew about her being at the Artemis house and it bugged in her mind to know who had told her about it. The humans were under spell, therefore, making it impossible that they would know anything about it. Who had tipped the information? 
Another thing that bothered her was the words regarding her mother. For voodoo magic to take place, the performer should have been in a close distance range. The black witch had told how her mother was still near the border the last she heard and Bonelake wasn't a small land. It was one of the largest out of the four lands. It only meant that the last voodoo that had been performed on her was not done by her mother but someone else. 
Penelope had not made many enemies except for the silly girls who wanted to put her down but she doubted any of them were witches as they were still scraping from the life they had. 
"We don't know how much the witches have modified themselves," Penny said, picking up the needles, she had used, she saw how they had turned black from silver after injecting it into the tentacles earlier, "The spray might now work on everyone and we can't fight all of them at a time. It would result in us turning to one of the dead bodies in the forest."
"What about the task then? Are there no dead bodies?" he asked in frustration.
The man had skipped the last exam which was conducted before this one and when he heard about this exam, he had given his name to attend but who knew he would end up in a mix. 
Penny turned to him as Jera stood up after taking the sample of the dust, "There are dead bodies. More like dead people's organs that have been transferred to the black witch's body. We need to bring them to the council. That is the task," the man frowned to say nothing as he let the information in his mind, "We need to head and find the rest of them one by one. We don't know if there are innocent people out of the nine examinees or if all nine are black witches. Maybe except for one who is an idiot."


"Who touched you?" he asked, his eyes brooding down at her and when she didn't answer, his voice thundered in the room, "WHO?"

The butler who stood near the wall spoke shakily, "Sir, it was Mr. Reverale," Damien's face turned sour, his jaw ticking in anger he turned his face to the side where the butler stood behind.

"Bring the man here."

"N-now?" stuttered the butler. It was the time of night.

Damien who hadn't broken his eye contact with the girl in front of him, pushed his hand against the wall which now rested beside his beautiful girl's head. Turning his body, he first looked at his butler who had his head bowed. With great courage, the butler came to meet his Master's eyes, "Do you have any other better time? Or should it be after I wring your neck?" Damien asked calmly tilting his head. Not a second later, the butler ran out of the room to return back with Mr. Reverale after twenty minutes.

"Damien, are we having a late tea party?" Mr. Reverale came to greet but the master of the house had other plans. Spotting the knife that was stuck to the apple on the table, he reached for it to pull it out.

Just as Mr. Reverale went to exchange a handshake with him, Damien took hold of his hand to place it on the table. In one swift movement as if he were chopping onions, he chopped the four fingers of the man off his hand making him yelp and cry in pain.

"No one touches what is mine. I am sure this will remind you the next time you even think about touching her," sighed Damien as if he were tired of telling people to keep their dirty hands off his belongings.

Roland was startled by the unknown sound that appeared out of no where. He looked around and yet could not find the source of the sound. 
What was that? Where did that sound come from? Roland thought to himself while scanning the area around him.
"Congratulation to the Host for awakening the Witch System!"
"As the host of the Witch System, you are able to use the points awarded by the system to exchange for items"
System? Witch System? What is this? Am i finally receiving my main character buff? Roland thought.
Roland tried to communicate with the system in his mind. "Witch System? What is a Witch System? How did you appear in my mind?" 
"Witch System is a system created by a witch with a unique power from another universe that hoped to save the witches from the church."
"However before the creator of the system manage to use the system to help in saving the witches, she was hunted by the church and was executed for associating with the devils and gathering the witches to fight against the God."
"Just before the creator was captured by the church, she managed to send a small part of her power containing the system into a black portal with the help of a witch that has power over space, hoping that someone could use the system she created to achieve what she couldn't do."
As the system was explaining, Roland was dumbstruck and could hardly believe anything that the system has mentioned to him. "What can the System do?" Roland asked in his mind. 
"You can exchange for items in the System shop."
"Shop? Can you show me the shop?" Roland asked the system
In the next moment, Roland felt that something appeared in his mind. As he tries to focus on the window that popped in his mind, he could see that it's a shop menu with different items and category. As Roland explores the shop, he found that there are weapons, potions, skills, materials, and many different items. He has also noticed that the in order to purchase these items, he needed a special currency which is the points awarded by the system. 
"Your Highness! Your Highness" 
Hearing the voice of Barov calling him, Roland returned to his sense.
"Your Highness, we should execute this witch as soon as possible before other witches arrive to save her" Barov said in a serious tone with a hint of fear.
"No, that will not be the case." Roland replied immediately, dismissed Barov suggestion without a second thought.
"What! Why? Your Highness, this is not the time for your joke, you cannot act recklessly as you pleased. This is a serious matter that concern the town and the life of the citizens. It is best that we execute this witch as quickly as possible before the other witches arrived" Barov said hurriedly.
"What? Did you really think that witches are evil and are associate with the devil?" Roland replied unhurriedly. "Are they not? Witches are really evil according to the church's teaching. Your Highness, you had not seen a real witch before today, therefore it's understandable that you are not familiar with them." Barov looked bewildered at first before solemnly answering Roland. "Those are part of the church's propaganda and should not be taken seriously. Who knows why they are declaring that the witches are evil. It could be that they are afraid of the power that witches could use, or it could affect their plan in taking over the world." Roland said while looking at the witch in the prison before continuing. "Have you seen any difference between normal people and the witches? Do they look like devils?"
