 Su Min taught them to fight ,cultivate and transform into beastmen form. He awakened hidden blood lines and powers.

The beastmen mocked him in the arena and he half- squeaked , half- roared.

“ SO WHAT IF LAOZI IS A HAMSTER! DON’T YOU BELIEVE THIS HAMSTER WILL BITE YOU TO DEATH!”

In the end there’s just one thing to say- dynamite comes in small packages.

Su Min slowly but surely became a winner in life becoming a great and powerful king who controlled life and death in his hands. He began to build a utopia and set off to find a beautiful hamster wife.

Umm... No? He brought back a powerful and domineering male tiger who spoilt and petted him the whole day!

"It's awake! My hamster is awake!" Little Celery exclaimed excitedly.
"Mine's too!"
"Mine moved a little!"
The other hamsters slowly woke up from their hibernation, squirming in the kids' palms, opening their blurry eyes to once again see the world.
Zhang Zian removed all the litter sand from the cages, so now they were filled with wood shavings. He told everyone to place the revived hamsters inside the cage so that he could cover them up with wood shavings.
Everyone's heart ached for the hamsters that just escaped death, they all wanted to hold them a little longer, but Zhang Zian reminded them, "If your palms are sweaty, it's best not to hold them for too long, or else it might make their body temperature go back down."
As the kids were nervous, their palms were all sweaty. As soon as they heard what Zhang Zian said, they quickly placed the hamsters into cage. The hamsters instinctively dug a hole and covered themselves in the wood shavings.
They continued the process, saving hamsters one by one. Near the end, they started a competition of who could save the most hamsters. Watching all the little hamsters come back to life, they all felt happy and proud.
However, there was a sole hamster that remained in temporary hibernation, it was the Djungarian hamster that was in the birdcage. Everyone took turns rubbing their palms together before holding it, desperately puffing hot air on it, but it didn't even flinch, like it was really dead.
"Let me show you!" Wang Yaning pushed the others to the side, and grabbed the hamster confidently.
She had saved the most hamsters, she began to think that her body temperature was higher than the others. However, no matter how long she held the hamster, it didn't move.
"What's going on? This hamster can't really be dead, right?" she asked.
"Store Manager, why is the hamster not waking up?" Little Celery's began to panic.
"That's because the hamster was frozen the most." Zhang Zian pointed at the birdcage that was well ventilated, barely even blocking the cold air.
A hamster's ability to adjust its body temperature was very bad because their environment was supposed to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer. In the summer, their living space must be well ventilated and sheltered from direct sunlight, while in the winter, their living space must be sheltered from the cold air. The birdcage did nothing to block cold air, it'd be a nice living area for summer.
"Now, what do we do?" Little Celery pulled on her little pigtails. "We don't have anything else, our teacher didn't want us to spend money."
"There's no need to spend money, the solution is actually very simple." Zhang Zian took an empty cardboard box from a corner and covered the birdcage. "As long as you poke a few holes in the box to let air in, you can put in on at night and remove it in the morning. It'll shelter the hamster from the cold, although just raising it in the box would be better. We need to try everything. Do you have a thick towel here?" Zhang Zian asked.
The kids took out their own towels and offered them to Zian.
Zhang Zian got a cup and filled it to the brim with hot water. He covered the top of the cup with a few layers of the towel before placing the unresponsive hamster on the towel, wrapping it tightly.
A hamster's normal body temperature is higher than that of a human. If a human's body temperature couldn't bring it out of its hibernation, then maybe hot water could. When such measures are taken, much care is required. If the temperature wasn't controlled or if there wasn't a towel, the hamsters would easily be injured. However, like Zhang Zian said earlier, they had to try everything.
Zhang Zian couldn't just wait, so he called the two boys to assist him in carrying the shelf to the west window, where there was better sunlight.
There was only one air conditioner in the room, which was quite limited in maintaining the temperature. Zhang Zian heard the kids say that the air conditioner will switch off at night in response to the school's effort in saving electricity. It was no wonder the hamsters went into temporary hibernation last night.
There was nothing Zhang Zian could do about the air conditioner, but the kids could ask the school not to turn off the air conditioner at night. Saving electricity was, of course, a good thing, but it depended on the situation.
Wang Yaning recorded everything into her notebook, so it'd be best if she was the one who contacted the school.
"It moved!"
"Look! It's awake!"
Little Celery and the other girl screamed together, clapping their hands in joy.
The Djungarian hamster that was wrapped in the towel opened its eye. It moved its small head to look around and stuck its nose out to sniff the air. It tried to squirm out of the towel, but Little Celery quickly caught it before its soft paws came into direct contact with the metal lid, stopping it from getting burned.
"That's great! It finally woke up!"
The two boys were also elated. Their four little heads squeezed together to observe the Djungarian hamster. Wang Yaning also wanted to take a closer look, but since she was class president, she suppressed her urge.
"Next time, just be more careful when it comes to the temperature." Zhang Zian let out a sigh of relief. If the hamster lost its life because of their negligence, they'd feel guilty for a long time.
Zhang Zian called the kids over, so that they could see the newly changed wood shavings and litter sand. "Do you guys know what that is?" Zhang Zian pointed at a few soft-looking orange drops.
Little Celery raised her hand. "I know! It's the hamster's poop!"
"That's right." Zhang Zian gave her a look of encouragement. "You know Ling, the hamster in my store? What color is her poop and what's it like?"
Little Celery tried to remember, but her observation skills weren't really that good.
Wang Yaning frowned and said, "I think it was black. They're like small drops."
Yaning had accompanied Little Celery to Zhang Zian's pet store before, but he never expected her memory to be so good. It was no wonder she was a straight-A student.
Zhang Zian nodded. "A hamster's normal poop looks like tiny black drops, but this..." He pointed at the soft orange poop in the litter sand. "The soft poop is a sign that you have to be cautious, if it isn't handled well, it might get diarrhea."
The kids looked at each other.
"What do we do?"
"Does it need an injection?"
"How about medicines?"
All of them started to ask questions, not willing to lose the hamsters they just saved again. All their faces paled at the mention of injections and medicine.
"There's no need for injections or medications. It's winter, so all of you have apples at home, right? We can make some homemade dried apple rings, it's good for treating hamsters with diarrhea," Zhang Zian explained. "Although, it's more convenient to get them online, your teacher told you guys to refrain from spending money. It's not that hard to make them at home."
Zhang Zian told them how to make the dried apple rings.
The method on making dried apple rings was actually very simple. All you had to do was peel the skin, remove the core, and slice them into thin pieces before boiling it in hot water. After you take them out the water, place them on a tray and microwave it for two to three minutes. Make sure to flip them over and do the same for the other side before drying them. If they have a food dehydrator at home, then it'd be much easier.
Zhang Zian reminded them, "Although dried apple rings will help, they can't eat too much of it, if they do, they'll suffer from constipation.
Thank goodness he came over with Little Celery. Even though the hamsters survived temporary hibernation, they'd probably die from diarrhea and dehydration.
While the other kids were listening and asking questions, Wang Yaning was writing everything down in her notebook. She had learned a lot today, and she wanted to show that in their report. At first, she worried that there was nothing much to write about. Now, she knew that taking care of a hamster required a lot of knowledge, it'll be worth taking the time at home to absorb everything she learned today.
After the kids listened to what Zhang Zian said, they knew that raising a hamster wasn't as easy as they thought. In other words, life was fragile and needed to be taken care of and appreciated. Saving a life made them happy, but watching a life slowly slip through their fingers was painful. They learned the value of life way before other kids their age.
Zhang Zian was pleased as he looked at them. He had always believed that kids who loved animals never had violent tendencies. Now, he knew he was right.

Alex’ POV 

“Hey gorgeous, wanna hangout?” 

“Smooth but flattery wouldn’t get you anywhere with me, Alex. What do you want?” The smiling blonde responds. 

“To hangout. I want to show you something.” I pulled her. 

Our classes are over and I wanted to ask her out for the weekend. Also, I truthfully just wanted to be with her, every moment is precious. 

“Okay, okay. What is it?” She removed my grasp on her arms only so she could hold on to mine. 

“Come with me.”

When we reached the rooftop, I removed my hands from covering her eyes. I brought her to the greenhouse which is actually in the rooftop of where my apartment is. 

The sunlight is still glinting and reflected by the glass walls. It was refreshing and peaceful place surrounded by plants and a tree at the center part of the greenhouse. Only the noise of the insect is present. The feeling is like being in a countryside, far from all the noise and complications of the city. 

“Wow.” Sunny gasped at the sight. “How did I not know you have this in your building?” She continued in awe. 

Not as beautiful as you though. - That’s what I would have said if she is in any state of being okay to be courted right now but she’s still healing and she wouldn’t even bother to open up. Instead, I replied with, 

“Well, the first time you were here you went off abruptly and the second time, you weren’t in the proper state I guess. I’m glad this time.” 

“I am too.” She beamed at me. 

We sat under the small tree with our backs leaning on the trunk. Sunny has her eyes closed. Eyebags are present just below her eyes, probably from crying and not being able to sleep at night. Yet, she looked so majestic as the wind blows her baby hairs onto her face. I’m desperately fighting the urge to remove it from obscuring that beautiful view and oh God, her parted lips entice me. 

“How is adapting to new school going for you Alex?” She asked. 

I nervously darted my gaze away, frightened that I was caught staring but then her eyes didn’t open. 

Sigh. 

“It’s really easy. How about you, really?” I asked back. 

“That’s good. Hmmm…with me, everything’s fi- ” 

“Don’t you dare tell me okay or fine or along the lines of that, because I know it’s not true.” 

“I broke up with Jackson.” 

 

“I know.” 

“Ari or Bree might have pick up on that and told you. It’s not like you’d know. You’re pretty oblivious.” She chuckled at the last part. 

“Hey, no I’m not.” I pout. 

‘Whatever hamster.” She shrugged and leaned her head on my shoulder. 

I let her as she turned her body towards me and curled into a ball. I didn’t press her for more details about their break up. She’d tell me if she wants to, that’s what Ari said and I’m going to respect that. I just didn’t want her to say she is fine when clearly she’s not. 

We sat in the comfortable silence for a few moments before I had to break it. 

“Mitchelle.” 

She hummed in response. 

“Let’s go camping this weekend. The two of us, the young ones are busy.” 

She looked up. Her two orbs glinting under the sunlight where the tree was unable to shade. 

“You sure?” She mused. She probably thinks I’m joking. 

I nodded. 

“Okay.” She responds before putting her head back in my shoulders. 

We continued to sat in silence until it was time for her to go home. 

I’ve never been so anxious and excited at the same time just for a camping.

I locked my phone and faced Ari who is busy munching on her fries. 

“What does Alex means when she said you’re a bottom?”

Senior year. Everyone has their life going. Plans are being laid out for their future. 

There is Mitchelle Kim or popularly known for her stage name Sunny, the school band's female vocalist. Beautiful, talented and kind. A ray of sunshine. She has her life all planned out, her 3 year-relationship going steady to the handsome and intelligent band's male vocalist Jackson Choi aka Jack. Lucky for them, they are aiming for the same thing. What more could she ask for? Right? 

Together with them is Breana Jung, the drummer. No one would have thought her to be the cute, shy, intelligent and lovely type once she's holding the sticks and whipping it on stage. Sure she can perform on stage but self-assurance and confidence is what keeps her from being in the spotlight. Afraid of getting hurt again, she keeps her circle small and her feelings always in check. She likes to keep her thoughts to herself. Will she ever open up? 

Unlike her, Maria Han or Ari, Sunny's bestfriend is outgoing and bares it all. She wouldn't be told to do things just to fit in and she never much cared about what most people think of her. She's energetic, sassy, popular and 'in'. After all, she's the cheerleader in the cheering squad for the school basketball team. But until when? 

Everything is pretty normal until it wasn't anymore.

Confuse at what I just saw, I quickly opened the Character Building Tool and began checking the Quest section.

The hell... 

Upon reading the thing more questions have been formed in my head. 

What the hell is a "Trait" and "the Abyss Trials". 

Wanting answers for my questions, I began checking the tool. But after a few minutes of messing with the thing, the results of my efforts were rewarded with nothing. It seems that I don't have any means of checking what these mysterious new things are. Disappointed by my findings, I began assessing what my understanding of the tool once more. 

It seems that my past assessment was wrong. I indeed do randomly get a quest, if I'm tasked by people. But if said case is indeed true, then how come I didn't get any quest when I was tasked by other people. 

With two conflicting evidences in hand, my head can't help but be confuse. But considering that I don't have the full answers for now, I've decided to tackle said issue for later. 

With that said... It seems that at least one mystery of mine have been answered. 

Checking the tool once more, I finally got the answer of why the sudden appearance of the quest from the ant incident occurred. It seems that ignoring the thing will automatically accept any quest that is undecided. That would explain the incident. But thinking more about this feature, I can't help but imagine the dangers provided by it. Having any quest accepted without consent might result in some potential danger if I fail to do its task.  

And with said possibility in mind, I've decided to be more careful with the thing from now on. 

Seeing how there's nothing more to do with the tool, I quickly continued my walk and entered the elevator. With me covered and smelling in sweat, I was reminded that I still need to take a shower. 

With my training over, I guess deserve some sort of relaxation... 

Pressing the button for the 3rd floor, the elevator gears started running and await to reach my destination.

A few days after my Training with Heisenberg, I still continued my training with the hamster. Due to me not being able to use Heisenberg's room anymore, I began training in the facility's Training Room. The lack of machineries and tables in the place, made my training much easier to move. Adding the lights and huge space also made it easier to track the hamster from before. I kind of miss the old set-up if I'm being honest.

Following the hamster's movement, I readied myself and wait for an opportunity to strike. Calming my senses and changing my mind set, I felt even more relaxed than I was before. Any sense of bother just feels like breeze of wind for me.

Seeing the hamster quickly approach my direction, I calmly project my energy activate my Psionic ability. 

Dominate Mind... 

Forming a link with the creature, I composedly try to gain control of the hamster's consciousness. While ignoring the fact that it's heading in my way. 

-Crash 

With its soft and fluffy body hitting my face, I stand firm and not let the thing bother me. With my link to it still intact, I remain calm and continued my objective of controlling the creature. After a few seconds of casting my ability, I eventually succeeded in my objective. With the hamster's mind in my control, I quickly ordered it stopped bouncing all over the place.

"Oh? I succeeded" 

Still in my calm state, I was late to realized that I've already succeeded on doing my task. With the hamster, just standing in the floor and looking cute. I can't help but feel bad for mind controlling it. But seeing how I've already done what I did, I tried ordering the thing to come near me and ride my hand. 

"Ohh..." 

With its cute little feet making its way into my hands, I find it very cute to look at.  

"I guess harmless creatures like these still exist in this world" 

Putting the hamster back in the ground, I began ordering the creature to do some tricks before I cancel my ability. 

"Roll over, play dead, ahh... shake hands?" 

Wait... why the hell I'm I treating a hamster like it's some sort of dog 

Seeing how the hamster perfectly obeyed all my orders, I'm quite amazed by how effective my mind controlling ability is. My first instance of mind controlling something was with the Psionic Ant Queen. But even then, I wasn't able to experiment much with it. So, seeing my mind controlling capabilities this close, is somewhat new for me. 

Satisfied with my findings, I quickly put the hamster back in its cage and cancel my ability. With me succeeding in catching the thing, I didn't need to use any of its snacks to lure the hamster in. It was quite hard to lure the hamster back in its cage, the first time I practiced here. But with me succeeding in capturing the creature, said task may change in future trainings. 

With me finished with my training, I began relaxing in the Training Room for a bit. With how everything is going so well, I prayed that things will stay the same. Safety and comfort are indeed the best, considering the dangers that loomed outside. 

While busy relaxing in the place, I wasn't able to notice Lily herself entering the room. 

"Oh? It's you. I thought someone forgot to close the lights again" 

"Hmm? Oh, hi miss Lily" 

-Sigh 

"Nice to meet you as well. So, what are you doing here?" 

"Nothing much, I was just training with my Psionics for a bit" 

"I see... well I guess, I'll leave you be. So, continue with whatever training you've been doing and please turn off the lights after your finish. I'll also be going back to my work" 

"Aren't you working a bit too much miss Lily? How about you try and relax for a bit" 

"Relaxing while in the job is not part of my code of ethics, but I would like to thank you for your concern" 

"I guess that's a bummer... I was expecting to know more about you" 

"In what sense does in not knowing about me, disappoints you? Were you trying to gain some advantage over me?" 

"I wasn't trying to gain some advantage over you or anything like that. I genuinely just want to talk, considering you pretty much spend a majority of your time being alone or in work" 

"I talk to other people too, you know" 

"Doc. Isaac doesn't count' 

"..." 

"See? You're so hung up about work, that you've already became a loner. You should try talking to anyone every once in a while, and who knows? You might make some friends, along the way" 

"I don't need you to tell me that. I'm already content with my work" 

"Say... miss Lily how did you and Doc. Isaac first met?" 

"Are you even listening to me?" 

"I am, but I'm seriously wondering how both of you met? You really aren't the engaging type, judging from my observations" 

-Sigh... 

"We first met when I was still studying in Foundation City. You happy, now?" 

"Oh, come-on now... Don't leave me hanging, I want to know more than that. I'm seriously interested of how both of you met"

"Fine... when I was still learning medicine in Foundation City, I got sick and went to see the school's clinic. Isaac at that time was visiting my school, so when he saw my health report, he immediately went to me and said that I have Psionic potential" 

"I see... that indeed sounds like something that he would definitely do" 

"Right... I have no interest with Psionics at that time, so I declined his offer of unlocking my Psionic potential. But he keeps pestering me about it nonstop. To the point where I eventually gave up and accepted his offer" 

"So that's how both of you met and became acquaintances. It's quite a lovely story to be honest" 

"Lovely story my ass... After accepting his offer, he immediately trapped me in a room full of bugs. I still can't forgive him, for doing that unannounced" 

"Ahh..." 

-Sigh 

"Now that you've heard my story, may I at least ask why you were asking how me and Isaac met?" 

"Nothing much, I was just curious" 

"I can't believe I'd just wasted my time talking to you" 

"Well aside from curiosity, I was also testing how you communicate in normal conversations" 

"I'm I now some sort of anomaly, just because I'm a loner" 

"Not really, I'm just surprise by how you lack some friends despite being normal" 

"People do have their own preferences on things, so there's that. I'm already late because of you, so I'm leaving now" 

"Good bye miss Lily"

And with Lily leaving the room, I again was left all alone by myself. Seeing how I'm completely rested, I readied myself to leave the place and head back to my dorm. Grabbing the caged hamster, I turned off the room lights and quietly head out of the Training Room.

With the elevator door slowly opening, I quickly tried getting off, like I always do. But just as the door fully open, I was shocked to see a familiar person waiting in the other side.

"I've just accepted a mission from miss Katherine earlier, so I was looking for you because I want to party up"

Princess Noel and Rose who was hearing the conversation between Alex and the Beasts felt their blood boiling in rage when that beast called them as mere slaves of Alex. The maids didn't mind as they already belonged to Alex and they knew their prospects of living with him is better than being a princess of this kingdom.

Lily, who was silent suddenly shouted, "They are not slaves, they are friends of big brother Alex."

"Yes, this is Princess of the Gromor kingdom, and I am the captain of the Royal guards." Rose stood before the beast trying to wipe the insult laid on the princess Noel.

"Princess? Kingdom, you say? Hahhahaaa....." the Hamster started to laugh out loud like it found the speech very funny.

There are thousands of clans in this world with their territory 100 times bigger than your kingdom. A single sneer from their nose can wipe your kingdom off the existence" the hamster sneered at Rose for making such a statement.

"And the maids of those clans are thousand times powerful than your princess...." Alex cut off the hamster to stop it from making further insults to the girls.

"Stop it and tell me why I should follow? What if you had a trap waiting for us to fall in?" Alex said.

"Humph, Don't get carried, kid. I know the last attack was your trump card and I only need to pinch you to death. So If I wanted you already be dead." the hamster spread its aura suffocating Alex and the girls behind him.

Alex was helpless since the girls followed him; otherwise he could have escaped. Without any other choice, he had to accept.

The hamster looked at Alex with a smile and slashed the space with its claws. The surrounding area began to tremble, and a portal at the size fit enough for the hamster to enter appeared.

"Follow me!" the hamster said and jumped inside without saying anything.

Alex was amazed by the portal created by a single slash of the hamster. He started to feel the real power of the Divine beast.

He looked at the girls behind him and asked, "Look, I don't how dangerous the other side is going to be. And I am at least capable of escaping myself but I don't think I can with you guys."

"Alex, don't say more. We are capable of making a choice for ourself, and the rat itself said we could follow it." Princess Noel replied. Thankfully the hamster was at the otherside so it couldn't hear their conversation.

"Yes, we will follow you no matter what." the maids also replied.

Alex looked helpless on their decision. Lily also didn't say anything, but her eyes conveyed her resolution.

Alex jumped in first with Lily in her hands, and then others followed in.

Except Alex others started vomiting food on the ground. Their body wasn't strong enough to withstand the pressure from transportal. 

Alex placed his both hands on their head, which he already regrew without them noticing any change. Soothing energy entered their heads and healed them from feeling dizzy or weak.

They followed the hamster into the jungle and soon reached an old creepy hut which looked like it might crumble with a fart from their ass. 

The hamster which was big as a dinosaur suddenly shrank at the size of an ordinary little hamster. It slowly walked towards the hut and asked them to follow inside.

"Big brother, I am afraid!" Lily, who was in Alex's hands, said.

"That's why I said to wait at the camp. Do you want to return?" Alex asked with little expectation.

She quickly hugged his neck tightly and refused to open her eyes. Alex sighed and took her inside. The others, too followed them with vigilance.

The hut looked small, but they walked for an hour inside the long tunnel connecting the hut and the mountain behind.

At the end of the tunnel, a bright blue light was radiating with a bright shine. They looked at each other and went in.

The second they took a single step inside they stood motionless with their mouth hung open enough for a watermelon to fit in.

Ye Song was having a headache. with just Ahoka, he was already close to being crazy. If these four idiots joined, there will be more headaches from now on.


Seeing the distress look of Ye Song, Kuchi, who was the leader of Penguin Commandos said.

"You don't need to worry about our food, Master. We are trained to live in wilderness. just this simple task, you don't have to worry about it. Come, Let's establish the connection".

After Kuchi said that, there's a tiny dot light came out of his body. the same thing was happening to the other penguins. the tiny dots float around Ye Song and entered his head after.

YeSong was surprised when he saw the four penguins had high levels. 
They will be helpful to him when he hunt monsters. 
He literally don't need to do anything. 
He will let them do the killing and he will still get the experience from this. 
When he thought of this, he was elated.

While he was immersed in joy, Ahoka asked him a question.

"What happened to the test, Master? did you passed?".
"No, the Instructor and I doesn't share the same point of view so I left and didn't took the test".
"Oh, I see...well, this is more better than live alongside the hypocrites inside the town".

The four commandos were curious about what they were talking, so they inquire about it. when they learn what it was, Kuchi suddenly spoke.
"Can I give a suggestion Master?".
"Go ahead".
"Uhmm, why don't you just build your own?".
"Build what?"
"Why don't you just build your own town for the people living outside the Everest?".

When Ye Song heard this, a sudden idea flashed in his mind..

He smiled and said.

"You know what, that's a good idea....".

Monsters from another world invaded Earth.

The Humanity fought back but suffered heavy casualties instead. 

They have only a small part of Earth to live.

Before the humanity perishes, the Heaven gave them a chance. 

The humans began to evolve one after another and got strength to defend themselves.

But one person evolved strangely.

Ye Song woke up and saw the monsters invading.

"System, What is my level now?"

Stiles' POV

I sat on my desk as I did my assignment. The hamster on my lap... I didn't want to let it go, somehow it's like we had this bond.. It's as if the hamster was a friend of mine from the very beginning. I don't know how to explain it but I just loved it already. The hamster was dear to my heart... I just felt safe with it, safe and happy with it.

It stirred on my lap... It was awake. I looked down at it as I shut my book, I was through with my assignments. I had this peace within me... A kind of peace that I didn't have before. I took it in my hands, stroked it as it gave out a soft purr before placing it on top of my book.

"Hey.. Are you hungry?". I asked.

It squeaked.

"I will take that as a 'yes'". I said as I picked it up and went downstairs. My father wasn't around but the house stunk of alcohol. The bottles were still on the carpet in the living room... scattered. 

I exhaled sharply as I made my way to the kitchen.

"Don't mind that, my father...." I paused. Why was I talking to the hamster as if it was a person? As if it'd understand what I'd say?. I think I'm really crazy.

"Never mind.." I said as I placed it on the kitchen island and opened the fridge. 

"What would you like to have?" I asked as I looked in the fridge only to see leftover pizza from last night and a bowl containing uncooked beef. I sighed.

"Will you eat pizza with me?". I asked. Hamsters eat pellets, cheese... What else? I have none of those here so I guess it'll starve for a while or it'll eat the pizza with me.

I took the pizza out as I shut the fridge and placed it in the microwave to heat. I took a small crumble from the pizza after heating it and gave it to the hamster. It sniffed it before gladly taking it in it's small front limbs and nibbling on it.

"Are you a she? Or a he?". I asked.

It squeaked. 

"A he?". I asked. It stopped and looked at me. It acts as if it understands me.

"I think that's a 'no'". I mumbled.
"So, you are a 'she' huh?". 

It squeaked.

"You act as if you understand me.. You know... The way you squeak when I ask a question.. I really do wish you could understand me.. I really need company.. Someone to talk to..". I paused as an idea flashed in my mind.

"Or are you a were-hamster?". I asked. It... I mean she squeaked.

I narrowed my eyes as I placed down my pizza.

"Are you a were-hamster? I wouldn't be surprised.. I've had a friend whose a werewolf... I had a coyote and a kitsune as a friend as well before.... Before shit happened". I said the last part in a small voice.

I inhaled deeply.

"I'm really tired with the supernatural shit". I said. The hamster looked... Sad?. Was it really a were-hamster?.

"Are you really a were-hamster?". I asked. It did nothing... No squeak... No purr... It just dropped the small piece of pizza crumble I'd given it and backed away from me a few inches. It was a were-hamster. I could tell through that action... It was sad after I'd said about the 'supernatural stuff'...

But hey! I wouldn't mind to have a were-hamster around... Hamsters don't pose great threats like wolves or coyotes... Hamsters don't get affected by full moons as far as I know... They aren't hunted down by hunters... So, hamsters are superb.

If she was a were-hamster, it'd be great... I'd have someone to talk to. I know if she's really a were-hamster, then she came to me for a reason, I feel happy and safe around her for a reason and I want to know why... That means she wants me around her.

I looked at her. She looked fearful, frightened... Sad.

I was sad too. She was just like me... Afraid of rejection.. Afraid to face rejection... 

I took in a deep breathe.

"I'm sorry but if you're really a were-hamster then, I wouldn't mind.... I won't throw you out". I said slowly.

It looked at me. 

"Believe me, trust me... Just come clean with me and I promise to keep this a secret". I said softly.

It looked at me. I could tell it was debating with itself whether to shift or not.

"Please". I whispered.

It just looked at me. Doing nothing. I must be crazy then... Thinking that a regular hamster is a were-hamster just because I was surrounded by a bunch of werewolves, kitsun and coyote.

I took my pizza disappointed in myself as I stood up about to go out of the kitchen back to my room. But then before I could take a step, a bright white light formed from within the hamster and heavy white smoke surrounded it.

A sudden flip of joy and fear stirred in my heart as I took a step back. There, in front of me.... On top of the table was a light chocolate skinned girl, with dark brownish shoulder length hair.. Brown eyes, slender and was in a white dress that was knee level.

She raked her hair and turned to face me with a small smile on my face.

"Hi". She muttered.

"Holy shit!". I exclaimed.

In front of me was a were-hamster... A freaking were-hamster!!... 

I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out. I closed it as I swallowed hard. Yeah the girl is pretty alright.. Yeah, prettier than Lydia... Or Malia.... I looked at her... She looked back at me still having that small smile on her face. 

"Mieczyslaw?". She questioned.

Damn!... That's my first name... Even I found it hard to pronounce. She must be legendary to be able to pronounce it!.

"My name is Lux... Please don't freak out". She said in a small voice. I opened my mouth to speak yet again having no words coming out, I shut it and turned away from her as I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe.

Perhaps she's just a hallucination, when I open my eyes, she won't be there!. She won't be here....

I opened my eyes slowly as I turned to face the island, she was still there. My heart beat raised, I wasn't hallucinating.... My heart beat fast against my chest and my breathing became harshed and heavy.

She jumped down from the island and took a step towards me. I took a step back, my back hitting the cupboard that stood there.

"Please don't be afraid of me". She begged in a small voice. I shook my head... I was in another dream of mine and I would wake up soon, right?.

She took another step.

"D-dont move!". I stuttered in my shaky voice.

She then disappeared then reappeared right in front of me.

Shit!... 

She pulled me into a hug. A tight hug that I couldn't pull out from. How could a were-hamster be this strong?.

"I need you to trust me.... Please... Listen to my heart beat, I'm here to help, not to hurt you". She said softly through my ragged breathes. 

"Take in a deep breathe and calm down". She whispered. 

There was no way I was going to push her away. There was no way unless I did what she said.

I took a deep breathe, breathing in her scent.... Peach petals?... 

I don't know how I calmed down but I started breathing normally again, my heart beat normal too and the only heart I could feel beat was hers, it was as if her heart was beating in my veins... Beating against mine.... And her scent.... It was really calmly and for the first time within the past months, I felt home.

I hugged her back.

I could trust her.

I trusted her.

"Mieczyslaw". She muttered as she let go of me and looked into my eyes.

"Stiles". I whispered. She gave me a puzzled look. "Just call me Stiles". 

"Oh.. Nice to know you S-Stiles?". She said.

"My dad will be coming in late..". I paused.

"Yes please, let's talk". She said with much emphasis. "I know I owe you a lot of explanation". She added as I motioned her to sit. I sat beside her on the dining table.

Lux's POV

I explained everything to Stiles... From when I was born of course, to my learning how to control my hamster, my powers, my balance between darkness and light and purity.... How I wanted to kill the nogitsune but I ended up being sealed, my waking up and not being able to come down to earth due to the effects of the seal, my killing the nogitsune's soul and my parents unsealing me.. Blessing me to come back to earth, not forgetting to mention seeing his image on the emotionless water, me being the guardian of the Nemeton and I had sealed it which was now guarded heavily by my five army angels.. And that I was his guardian.. How I was to protect the pack he was in because of him but I couldn't anymore since he wasn't part of pack... And I answered his many questions 

"I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me the most. I'm even ashamed to be called your guardian because I didn't protect you... I'll understand it if you decide to shut me out". I said sadly.

"But I can make it up to you." I added quickly not looking at him.

"How?". He questioned slowly.

"By making your nightmares go away, your hallucinations... Your right state of mind and self esteem... Before the nogitsune shit happened, I'll bring all back... I can also help with that situation you have with your father....." I trailed. "Stiles, happiness is not a state that is easy to achieve. Sometimes, it may require hard work in order to get to a place in life where you feel happy...We can achieve this together..... Trust me!". I said softly as I fiddled with my hands that were on the table. I was trying hard not to read his mind... I wanted him to make this decision alone without me doing any kind of manipulation. 

I know I can easily brainwash him in case he rejects me but I also don't want that happen. I don't want to do such shit to him... I want to help him, I want him to accept me from his heart and mind not through force or manipulation.

He took in three deep breathes. I placed a hand on his arm and rubbed it gently for him to calm down. I don't want him having a panic attack before giving me an answer.

"T-This is a lot to take in.. You know". He stuttered.

I nodded.

"Yes! Yes I know. Give me a chance please Stiles... Let me be your guardian henceforth... To protect you... To guide you and make you happy because you deserve it". I responded still rubbing my hand on his arm to calm his nerves down.

He took another deep breathe and took my hand that was on the table in his. I smiled. This was a good sign...

He opened his mouth to speak but then closed it. It's as if he was thinking what to say... The right words to put in.

"Lux.... The first time I saw you... I just felt happy and relieved. I know you're aware of what I'm talking about". He started.

I nodded knowing too well what he was implying.

He sighed, "I've lost a lot Lux.... But seeing to what you've done for me for the past few hours we've been together. I know you're not lying to me and I appreciate you coming clean to me." He paused as he exhaled deeply. "Don't ever leave me when I let you in... Please". 

I smiled.. A wide smile.

"I'll never leave you Stiles... Where will I go to if I leave?. I want to assure you that I'll be your best friend when you need a friend. Your sister when you need family. Your light when there's darkness. Your smile bearer. Your companion when you need company. Your human diary and above all, your guide!". I promised.

"That's one huge promise you know?". He asked.

I smiled.

"Yes, I know and gods never go back on their words, trust me!". I said as he looked at me, his lips twitching up to form a smile. 

"I trust you Lux". He responded.

We hugged. 

"Thanks Stiles". I said softly. 

I was happy you know... Very happy...Nothing would be compared to the way I felt. Thank you Stiles... Thank you!.
