my name is Amelia. I'm not loud, I'm quiet. I'm not myself unless I with people who can actually understand me.
I have a large family but to me I'm just an outsider looking in. I'm a middle child if that doesn't say anything.
let's just say this is my story. instead of the lie being everyone else, it's my own truth

I wrote all of my poems and there are more to come. 
     The first poem is about a girl that is confused and questioning random things about life. 
     The second poem is about a relationship about a girl feeling like she is doing something wrong in the relationships and how she feels about how she caught her boyfriend cheating on her out of pain.

Raven was not in the least bit having a fun day. It started out with Knightblade giving him a panic attack, then the two yellow types making fun of him, and now the entire class's lives are in his hands. The adrenaline is what's keeping him from crying but trust me, he definitely is once he has time to.

So far he's come close to accidentally miscasting a spell like everytime he has to cast one. But thankfully, there haven't been any casualties.

Yet.

I'm just kidding.

Maybe.


The red fight is over and Raven has to treat yet another burn victim. However, this time the girl would definitely die if Raven messed up. Raven is frantically moving his fingers to find the right spell to save her life. His sweat from his forehead dropping into his eyes and his hands soggy. He can't use the spell he used for the previous victims because it is not strong enough for a situation with the victim's body completely covered in burn. The victim doesn't have a strand of hair left or even eyelids. It is quite disturbing to look at and scary.

Raven finally finds a good spell and gets to work.

"Do you need any help, kid?"

Raven looks over to see the coach.

"Get me grass and a water type."

The coach nods and not even a minute later comes back with a handful of grass and Knightblade.

"I heard I get to serve you." Blade says with a grin.

"We don't have time for that." Raven says a bit snarky. "See the grass Coach is holding make it wet along with this girl's body, leave the rest to me." Raven is speaking so fast it is barely audible.

Rave watches as Blade follows his instructions. Coach opens her first allowing Blade to pour some water into it. Blade takes the grass out of her hand and mixes some more water into it. Drops hit the grown and run down blade arms leaving their sweater sleeves a little wet. They then hand it to Raven. Blade steps towards the victim as Raven searches to figure out what their facial expression means. It doesn't have a hint of fear or disgust leaving Raven flabbergasted. How could someone not be scared in a situation like this? Aren't they scared they're going to mess up? Blade bends down and puts their hands over the girl's body, careful not to accidentally touch her. Water falls out of their hands covering the body. The girl let's put a soft but scared moan that panged Raven with fear that she would die any second.

Quickly, Raven takes the handful of grass and sprinkles it over the girls body letting every piece fall gracefully but quickly. Once, it's all sprinkled over her Raven closes his eyes and focuses all his will on the girl and his spell. He starts chanting in a language only he knows and words that only have meaning to him. He chants his chant free times in a row and then opens his eyes with a sigh.

He looks at the girl. Nothing happens for a second making Raven's heart beat faster than light but then there is something. A white light shines from the girl as all her skin melts back. She grows back her eyelids and her hair, everything but her clothes that coach rushes to get and Raven and knightblade avert their eyes.

"Good job Raven, I was scared she was going to die. You're a good doctor, man." Blade says this with hands over his eyes.

Was Raven good at this?

Raven did not really think that. Sure, Raven was a good spell caster but this was the first time he worked on humans. Back at home he only helped little animals in the woods. This entire time Raven was holding back vomit and it was only the first match. 

"Thank you." Was all Raven could get out. Blade gave him a small nod in return.


The orange match came which was filled with gore and animals getting fucked up. Raven was used to animals getting hurt but still he wished they would stay animals when they came to him, maybe it would take away some nerves. This entire time Ravens body was shaking. The red girl gave him a small "Thank You." as she ran to the coach who had her clothes. She looked to be on the verge of tears but who wouldn't, she almost died.

The orange fight was not nearly as bad as the red but far more loud. Wolves howled and their beard grawloded. Raven felt like he was working at an illegal animal fighting arena. However, nowadays those were all shut down because of orange types pretending to be big dogs or whatever other animal people used to get a kick out of.

The winner was a big guy who had a twelve pack because he had to be extra. He looked like a Chad. Was probably named Chad, Raven would bet you ten bucks on that. Chad came out to Raven after the match, shirtless because he had to be extra, and asked him to heal a small scratch on his face. "I would but I need to save up my energy, I'm sorry." Raven replied. Chad scoffed and walked away with "I thought you were a healer." which reinforced Raven betting ten bucks his name was Chad.


Then the yellow fight came. Raven bent his neck to look for the twins. They were just walking out to the arena. Kat had a smug look on her face but Malvin looked decently scared. Side note, Kate absolutely petrified Raven but he still wanted either her or Malvin to win because Raven kinda wanted to be friends with them.

In the arena there were around six, maybe seven yellow types. Raven could not tell all the commotion. People were screaming or waiting patiently for the match to start. Raven's hands were busy flickering the pages of his book around. Sweat droplets would fall onto the pages and disappear idmetitly after. That's just the magic the book had, it was impossible to tear or bark. Raven has tried to rip it apart before but failed.

Coach brought the megaphone up to her lips, "The match will start in... three seconds."

"One"

Kat got into her stance.

"Two"

Marvin got into his.

"THREE!"

Yellow lighting got thrown everywhere. It was almost impossible to see anything. All you could see was faint figures.

Raven's eyes strained to see one of the twins but failed. He grunted and waited for a patient to be carried to him by coach. She had her work cut out for her. 

Raven saw a silhouette for a girl that fit Kat's profile. Her hair was falling in her face.

That has got to be Kat.

She jumped up and ran across the stands and jumped down onto another silhouettes shoulders and brought her hands to their head. The silhouette fell and Kat jumped back up and disappeared into the light onces again. She's pretty dang good and knew the element of surprise. Raven wondered what Marvin was doing.

Some people may think Raven would wish to join in on the fighting but he did not. Raven likes to help people in a different way. He loves to heal the wounded and gets plenty of joy from that. Purple types books always line up to the users values and Raven is no expedition.


Coach sprinted to the fallen victim and carried them over to Raven. It was Marvin. His hair had fallen on his face and his forehead was red. His eyes were closed and he was unconscious. Raven peeled up his eyelids to reveal glossy eyes. He had a fever and his brain was fried. Raven knew the perfect spell for this.


Split flashback time.


One day Raven's parents brought him to the park. It was a while since he last visited and was around the age of eight. Raven was throwing a ball back and forth with his mother as his father sat on a bench doing a bible study. Raven accidentally chucked it into the woods and told his mother to stay back, as he would retrieve the ball.

Raven wandered into the forest trying to find the ball when he heard some teenagers yelling. 

"Bro, you wouldn't dare."

"Oh yeah, I would."

A sound of a teaser went off.

"You actually did it..."

"Yeah, see! I ain't no pussy. Now we should go before someone finds it."

"Yeah"

Sounds of footsteps vanished and Ravens eight year old brain thought it was a great idea to go and see what happened.

It took awhile but Raven managed to find where they were at. Raven heard some moans and looked down. A tiny rabbit laid motionless, Raven screamed horrified. It was white and about a little bigger than the Raven's hands. Raven had never used magic before but he knew that he could. Just his parents never let him. But, in that moment, Raven knew he had to help that rabbit. It was his duty.

Raven scooped it up and put it in the inside of his pocket. It was barely breathing and hot, Raven somehow knew it's brain was fried. He walked back to his parents, forgetting about the ball. He told his mom he tripped and hit his head. And that he wanted to go home. His parents got in the car and headed home.


Once Raven got home he headed to his room. He got out a shoebox and put the little bunny in it. His heart was pumping with adrenaline and his brain trying to figure out what to do. He needed his spellbook. He knew he had one but he did not know where it was or what he would do when he found it. He really needs it. 

Next thing he knew it was in his hands.

How?

He didn't know but he jumped with glee.

"Everything good up there!?"his mother shouted from downstairs.

Ravens' hearts sank. He needed to be more careful. "Yes, everythings good!", was his response.

Raven opened his book but the issue was that he didn't know what he was doing and couldn't read half of the words. He set down on his bed with his book in his hand determined to figure out a way to help his patient. And that my friends, was what he was going to do.

He closed to book and put his hand on top of it. He didn't understand what he was doing but it felt like he was doing the right thing. He closed his eyes and thought, help me find something to help this bunny, please.

Then he opened the book and flipped to a random page. The first spell his eye landed on was the spell he needed. Thankfully, he knew what he needed to do.

He walked over to the rabbit and put his hand on top of its head and said a verse to a poem that only meant anything to him. After he did that he lifted up his hand. The rabbit's eyes opened and slowly but surely it stood up. It lifted its head towards Raven and gave him a little nod that to Raven meant: Thank you.


That was Raven's first spell. That day was when Raven found his drive, he found his purpose. And that is to help the wounded. Ever since that he helped injured animals in his woods. It's what gave his life meaning.


End of flashback.


Raven looked down at Marvin and placed his hand on Marvin's forehead. He whispered the little poem that would not make any sense to anyone but Raven himself. Raven closed his eyes and when he opened them they met yellow ones.

"What happened?" Marvin said in a whisper.

"Your sister-um, kinda fried your brain." Raven swallowed.

"Of course she did, she always targets me."


The fight between the yellows ended with a bang. It was Kat against a guy with a scar across his lip. Raven will refer to them as scar dude. Kat and scar dude had a straining competition for a solid three minutes. The only reason they stopped was because the coach shouted: "Will you hurry up, we still have five of these to get thrown!" That's when the scared dude attacked Kat who was still looking at the coach. He sent a bolt of electricity at Kat that electrocuted her, leaving her helpless. She tried to attack back but she couldn't think straight due to the pain. She couldn't do anything. Scar dude kept it going until she was unconscious.

Once she arrived at Raven he could tell that her whole body was fried with some burns. He healed her up and once she awoke. She was really pissed.

"That was cheap! I was looking at the coach and he didn't wait for me to be ready! That could have been fun! We could have had a fair fight! But NOOO! He had to play dirty! Asshole..."

That's all she went on about util Marvin came and grabbed her by the arm leading her to the stands.

Raven was getting nervous already , but he was growing more tense. He was running low on energy but they weren't even half way yet. He might pass out on the spot.


The green fight happened which made the whole place smell like dirt. No major injuries happened which made Raven happy.


Then the blur fight came which Knightblade will partake in.


In all there were about eight blue types. Raven studied Blade, he did not look nervous at all. Not even a single hint of fear. Coach counted up to three.

"One"
Blade didn't move; he stood still with her arms crossed with his blangs flowing in the wind.

"Two"

No movement.

"THREE!"
Here is where a movement happened.

Blade shifted his hand and in an instinct, everyone in the arena besides him was in an ice cube. They had no time to think or do anything about it. Blade was just stronger and his timing was impeccable.

"Did I win?" Blade asked.

The entire stadium was silent. Everyone was in shock.

How did he do that?
Was what everyone was thinking.

It took a moment but Coach responded, "Yeah... you won."
"Yay, now get a red type to unfreeze them please."
"Y-Yeah I will..." Coaches voice wasn't as strong and mighty as it used to be.

Blade walked back up to the bleachers and set down. Everyone's eyes were on him but he pretended not to notice. 
Who was this guy? Was the only thing Raven could think.

What if the world had a malfunction? Some people are now born with special abilities that make the world a very different and dangerous place. So the government came up with an idea to send the malfunctions to a school that will train them and set up a life plan for them. If they do not follow the life plan they will be killed. How will this turn out?

"Bright are the stars that shine, Dark is the sky, I know this love of mine, Will never die, Like I've died... Oh, Raven excuse me, those aren't the lyrics sorry about that," Johnny the skeletal bard chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.
"It's alright, Johnny, don't worry about it, you've been playing great," I said.
Johnny tipped his hat, "Thank you, Marla. Allow me to continue."
"Actually that's alright, I think it's time Marla and I head out," Raven looked me in the eye. "It's 8pm, I'd be happy to walk you home, or, if you'd like to come over my house and meet my parents, you'd be-"
"Yeah, I would love that," I beamed and stared.
Our lips were inches away from connecting.
"Sounds great, Johnny, you can head home now," Raven said, rotating his head away.
"As you wish, thank you for listening," Johnny bowed, stood perfectly still and sank into the earth in front of the fountain like going down an elevator.
"Raven this whole evening feels like a dream," I said.
"A good or bad dream?" his lip curled up.
"A good one."
"Come on, let's head out of here," Raven took my hand and lifted me up from the grass. We dusted ourselves off and sauntered towards the exit.
"Calling it a night already?' a punk kid's voice hissed.
Two tall figures emerged from the woods. A scrawny sunken cheeked kid and another who was quite muscular.
"Z-Z-Zonn, L-Lyzo? What are you guys doing here?" Raven pulled me behind him.
"Just hanging out, came to enjoy the little show you put on," Lyzo, the thinner kid sneered.
"Y-you guys s-saw th-"
"Yup. Saw the whole thing, Rave-y Jones. We were quite surprised you conjured up some hollows," Zonn cackled. "I thought you were a mage? Too good for us, are ya?"
"Please, I don't want any trouble, and please don't tell anyone!" Raven quaked.
"Just take your punishment and we'll forget the whole thing ever happened," Lyzo sneered.
"Please, I didn't hurt anyone, we're on our way out. I'll take my punishment back at Fyra, let me take her home, she's a vem, she hasn't done anything wrong!"
Lyzo snickered with a pig-squeal snort. "How about this, Rave', we'll give you a running start. 5...4..."
Raven sprinted at the exit, clutching onto my hand, holding on for dear life. I was expecting to see flashes of something come from behind us but they stopped counting at '1' and nothing happened.
I was running out of breath, but escaped. We were back outside the black pointed gates.
"I'm so sorry, usually no one from the other side comes to the fountain until midnight. I thought we'd have more time."
"Raven!" I blurted, still trying to catch my breath. "What the hell was that all about?"
"I can explain. Let's walk and talk though, we should really head to my house in case they follow us, but they shouldn't," he scoffed. "Can't believe they said... hollows," Raven shook his head. "It's a derogatory term for skeletons."
"I'm sorry that happened," I frowned.
"I'm sorry you had to deal with that," Raven hung his head.
We wandered away from the gated park, towards the graveyard which was on the edge of town where the farmlands started popping up.
"Fyra is the magical land where my people come from. It's kept a secret to this world. My demonstrations of necromancy in front of you were technically illegal but, I-don't-know, you just seem, special. We've been friends for a while now and I just know I can trust you," Raven said.
"Raven, I trust you too," I said. "Your secret is safe with me."
"Fyra is where I go every summer. On Baton Lake I get on a boat that takes me out to sea, and with the right incantation a brilliant green flame blazes on the horizon. You sail through the fire and you appear in the land of Fyra, hence 'the other side of the fire' in a lot of the spells."
I nodded. We strolled past the large town graveyard up to an empty plot of land next to it.
"We're here!" Raven smiled.
"You live in a field?" I chuckled.
"Kind of," he scanned the area to make sure no one was looking, then focused on the vast space. "Here's my home and here's my poem, the place where I always retire, hidden by the other side of the fire."
A three-story white brick house with black Gothic accents appeared in front of us. It reminded me of a castle with its towering turret and tall windows.
Raven jogged up the steps and spun around. "Come on!" he beckoned for me, even though I was rooted to the ground. "You gotta meet my parents, I think you'll get a kick out of them."
I nodded and followed Raven as if I was hypnotized, but there was nothing more I wanted than to dive deeper.
Inside the house the walls were festooned with skeletal art and jars of different colors containing parts of things in organized shelves.
From the living room on the left I heard a French song fill the air with two people singing: "Aux Champs-Elysées, aux Champs-Elysées Au soleil, sous la pluie, à midi ou à minuit Il y a tout ce que vous voulez aux Champs-Elysées"
"Mom, Dad! Could you turn that down? There's someone I'd like for you to meet!" Raven facepalmed himself and turned to me. "Sorry, they can be so embarrassing sometimes."
"Nothing to be embarrassed about," I shrugged.
"Come on in here, Raven!" his dad called out.
The music stopped and he led me in the living room where his mom and dad were in the middle of the wide open floor, hand in hand, dancing. They looked like normal people, just paler than the average person.
They spun to face us and the color (what little they had) drained from both of their faces.
"Raven!" his mom yelped. "You brought company?"
"Yeah you didn't hear me because you were blasting your music like a bunch of savage teens," Raven eye-rolled. "Anyways, this is Marla, I wanted you two to meet her."
"Nice to meet you, I love your house," I smiled.
Their jaws were dangling. "Raven, can I have a word with you? In the other room? ...Now?" his dad said.

Isabella's pov:
"Come out already Sandra Collins." I was pacing outside the washroom for the past half hour.
She has been awake before me and was in the washroom for God knows how long. I never understand why people take so much time in shower.
"You have no patience girl." She finally showed up from behind the door, her wet hairs dripping on my bathrobe.
I gave her a glare and went to mom's room to see if I could find an extra for myself. My eyes diverted towards Xavier's room sending pain to my chest. I ignored the feelings and moved towards my parent's room. Luckily a found mom's bathrobe hung in her wardrobe. It still had her fading smell.
As I came back to my room Sandi was already dressed up and was drying her hair. I noticed after Raven came to her life she has changed. Sandi didn't have a great past about relationships and it was a fresh change for her. She is becoming more confident in her skin with every passing day and I am loving the change in her.
If this is what love does to you then I am in for it. 
Throwing a wink in her direction, I jumped in the washroom for the long awaited shower.
After we were dressed up and ready, we came downstairs to have breakfast. I was feeling really nervous to face Emma. Maybe they have known until now.
"Come on girls, I was waiting for you." Emma greeted us as her normal cheery self and I was relieved.
Sandi and I shared a knowing look.
After our usual greetings we settled down on the chairs, the appetizing aroma of pancakes filling my nostrils.
"Is Xavier up?" Emma asked a maid as they were serving her tea and I choked on my bite.
"Are you alright dear?" her focus shifted to me.
"Yeah, just choked on my the bite." I smiled at her and took a sip of my juice.
"No Mistress, young Master left already." the maid replied in a strange accent. She looked Asian and had a really innocent face and cute features. 
Thankfully I settled down his room before leaving otherwise they would have known. I finished the breakfast as fast as possible and pulled Sandi out in the garden with me.
"Now what's the plan." Sandi asked me as soon as we were alone.
"Raven," I stated simply.
She understood immediately and took out her phone.
"Hi babes," She greeted him playfully and I grabbed the phone from her.
"Hey honey bun." stroke my ear from the other side of the phone.
"Ewwww" I cringed.
"Who's there?"
"It's me Raven, Bella. Don't you recognize my voice now?" I rolled my eyes at Sandi who was looking at me impatiently.
Have some patience girl. 
"Oh bells, why are you talking from Sandi's phone?" he asked.
"Meet us at our usual spot. It's urgent." I told him and gave the phone to Sandi.
"Tell him the matter, I will be back in a sec." I whispered to her and ran inside to seek permission from Emma. I can't go anywhere without letting her know.

"So what was it girls?" Raven inquired us with a plain look on his face.
We were sitting in our usual hang out Cafe and I was rocking back and forth on my chair trying to distract myself.
"I sacrificed my sleep for this. It better be important." Dylan added while sipping on his coffee. He had his usual moody tantrum scene going on.
"Xavier left home last night." Sandi blurted out before I could have thought of a decent attempt to explain the scenario.
"He mostly isn't home at night, what's the big deal about it." Dylan interjected with a bored face.
"Left mean left Dylan, like left with all of his stuff." I backed up.
"What?" The twins gasped at the same time.
"How, I mean why? How do you know about it?" Raven bombarded us with his questions and I felt guilty.
How can I tell them. 
"He must have another fight with his dad." Dylan said thoughtfully.
"No, he left because of...me."
"Because of you?" Raven looked confused. I noticed Dylan observed me with a keen eye instead of saying anything.
"It doesn't matter why he left guys, we need to bring him back before his parents know about it." Sandi changed the subject and I was grateful for her to do so. I was already ashamed of what I did.
"He didn't contact any of us." Raven and Dylan exchanged looks.
"Then contact him yourself." I had hope that they would be able to track him down.
Raven took out his phone and dialed the number. All of us leaned towards him as if our life depended on it.
No response for a while...
"Hey wassup man," Raven finally spoke and I let out a sigh of relief.
At Least he was safe...
"Nothing I was just thinking to hang out, where are you?" Raven was acting casual and I was hoping it would work.
"Wait what? When did she come back?" he sat straight suddenly, his face showing off a skeptical expression.
Who is she?
Did Xavier stay with a female?
A strong uneasy feeling crept my heart. I didn't understand what it was but I didn't like it.
"Okay will be there, bye." he cut off the line before turning back to us. 
"What did he say?" I was desperate to listen.
"Umm..." he looked hesitant for a moment. "He stayed at Delilah's apartment." he finished off and looked at me intently as if he was trying to see my reaction.
"Who's Delilah?" Sandi asked him.
"She is aunt Emma's niece and..." he stopped before completing the sentence.
"And?" I held my breath. 
"And Xavier's ex-girlfriend." Dylan finished the sentence and I felt like someone pushed me in a pool of cold water without warning.
Xavier stayed at his ex-girlfriend's house?
I can't blink for a few moments. I didn't understand what was going on in my mind and heart. There was sort of a war going on and I was unable to decide whether I didn't care or burned at the words I just heard.
"Okay so he must be enjoying his time then. We shouldn't disturb their privacy." I scoffed and stood up.
The three of them looked shocked at my sudden outburst and to be honest I was bewildered too.
Why did I even react this way?
I left their baffled faces behind and walked towards the exit. The loud chatter and heat of bodies around me was suffocating me in there. 
I felt really stupid for caring too much.
Maybe he moved out with his girlfriend and I was not even the reason.
I felt stupid for thinking about him whole night when he was just out there doing God knows what with his girlfriend.
Ew.

“He what!” Aiyana exclaimed with barely contained excitement. 

“He told me that he well wants me and wrote me a poem.”

“Stop it! Nilly Willy wants you. Babe I would want that prime piece myself if I could have it! You are going to forget about that asshole and go in for the moral less literature professor. Scarlett had noticed mistake Aiyana made. She knew that Aiyana was imagining Mr. Arizona and her together. Scarlett aware that on a very basic level Aiyana lusted him. True they were friends now but the lust between the two was still palpable. They would never accept it, and yet when no one was looking at them their eyes betrayed the way they looked at each other. She only wished that it was they would ever do. Imagine and look. 

“Imagine his British accent grunting over your skin as he spanked you into submission…”

“Yes yes you sex fiends continue…” 

Scarlett cut the call laughing. She couldn’t sleep after that. The exact images that Aiyana drew in her mind plagued her until the early hours of morning. 

William walked to Sky’s classroom excitedly. His long legs took sure long steps, eager to see his pink pixie. He had previously decided to teach them ‘The Raven’ today but after meeting Scarlett he decided to teach them about lust as depicted by old and modern writers. 

He laid a palm on the glass pane of the double doors that curtained him from Scarlett. Letting out a sigh as he embraced himself before pushing the door open and entering. 

“Good evening, class… Well I know I had said we’ll do ‘The Raven’ today but I have changed the plan. We’re going to talk about how lust shapes the center of love in old and new writers…” He trailed off looking for Scarlett disappointed when he could not see her or Aiyana. 

The class suddenly seemed until there was a knock on the door. Two sets of heads peaked in, Aiyana and Scarlett. 

“May we come in?” 

“It’s seems you girl’s ma…” 

Scarlett stepped into the classroom clad in a sundress. William trailed off as if in a daze as he watched her stand in front of her in it. The bodice was tight at her breasts, pushing them together in a way that had them fighting to let loose to his eyes. The neckline low enough to show the gracious cleavage. The line of her pushing breasts drawing images of lust to dance in front of his eyes. It lost the tight shape at her waist to flow against her hips before ending to just cover her modesty. 

She finished her teasing with a pair of high fuck me heels. She was surely out to kill him. Shifting uncomfortably he motioned the two women to walk to the empty desks in the front row. He was reacting to her and by the smirk on Aiyana’s lips they knew what she was doing. 

“Now before I talk about Francesca and Paolo and compare it with well, Anastasia and Christian, and yes I mean the characters of fifty shades of grey because come on lust doesn’t get more famous than that.” William chuckled before continuing. 

“I want to start this lecture with reciting a poem by Ellen Bass. It’s called Basket full of figs. I know she is more famous God and G spots and Sleeping with you but I find the sensual current in the poem more vibrant than color of sex she ever painted.” 

William’s ocean blue eyes scanned the classroom before inevitably catching Scarlett. The previously tethered heat now untamed. Sparking alive the licks of fire on both their skins. The sensual undercurrent almost palpable in that one look they gave. Unable to move. Unable to look away. And as the undercurrents of their arousal swirled taking captive the entire audience he spoke. 

His accent thicker than usual. His voice dropping a few tones, deepening the quality of his voice. Making it sound like a series of groans and grunts. 

“

Warm eggs, cinnamon 

And cloves in burlap sacks. Show me

He eyed her meaningfully now. Letting the voice wash over her skin. Seducing and being seduced by the words that brushed their skin. He watched Scarlett react to him. Her legs clenching visibly under the desk. The material of the skirt rose up ever so little, revealing another inch of flesh. 

His lips felt dry as his hard arousal became more prominent. His tongue darted out of ever so slightly and brushed against his bottom lip, almost as if he was tasting her sex with his words. Lost in the images that danced as he continued to recite to her. His gaze never left hers. She knew he was speaking to her. 

“Unclasp it like jewels, the gold

That hard nugget of pain, I would suck it,

Scarlett pressed her legs harder still, feeling her arousal pool between her legs. Affected by his gaze and voice. He was tasting her with his words. And she was responding to it with her own uncontained wetness. The conversation of the previous night sprung to life all over again. And now she knew what he would sound like. 

Helplessly she cupped herself through the dress. She knew he could see her because of the desks open design for more leg space. But, she was just as powerless. Her suspicions confirmed by the silence and the twitch of his jaw. 

He was watching her. Waiting to see what she would do next. She spread her legs apart, affording him unblocked view of her sex. 

“So, Francesca…” William started again. But, he sounded distracted. His fixed gaze on Scarlett giving away the reason. 

“Who can tell me about Francesca and Paolo?” 

Aiyana had a vague idea of what was going on under the desk, so she started talking. Giving William an excuse to look in their direction. Not that he seemed to care either ways. He was transfixed, lost. 

“Well, Francesca’s story was described in the second circle of Dante’s inferno. When, she has a brief conversation with Virgil and him there. She was married to Giovanni as a means to political alliance. But, her husband was a crippled man. Despite, being married to him she fell in love with Paolo, his younger brother. Paolo too was married to another woman. But, well they were helpless. Sneaking around lost deep in the pleasures of the skin. Unable to fight the raging storms of lust they had an affair. It carried on for ten years until one night they were caught in the act by Giovanni and he well… killed them…” 

William did not say anything. He hadn’t realized the speech was over as Scarlett had shifted the crotch of her thongs aside while Aiyana spoke, a finger beginning to tease her wet sex. She was goading him. 

“The class is over for today. You may go home. Something has come up!” William suddenly announced. 

Scarlett immediately closed her legs. Waiting patiently in her seat with Aiyana so as to not look suspicious. 

Once, everyone left Aiyana left. Leaving the two alone in the classroom to their heated tension. Smiling knowingly.

The mood in May became filled with excitement at the Third Task coming up, but that much tenser with final exams steadily approaching. Rowan would only be taking six exams: Gobbledegook, Mermish, Alchemy, Ancient Studies, Ancient Runes, and Advanced Arithmancy. While Severus would be taking the same exams with the exception of his Ancient Runes and Advanced Arithmancy. Instead in their place, he'd be taking Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures.

Rowan and Severus would be taking two of their exams a week in advance when in comparison to the rest of the school, Alchemy and Mermish. The reason being there being the only two students in either course, they might as well get two out of the way. As such, their exam was scheduled quite early on as the written exams were to take place on a Tuesday and the practical exam for Alchemy to be taken on Thursday. As such they'd be excused from their Tuesday and Thursday classes that week.

Thankfully Professor Slughorn had finally had a word with the 5th and 7th years over their dragging Rowan and Severus to study as they had not learned their lesson after the still unspoken Slytherin brawl in the common room. Fearing another brawl, Slughorn firmly stated that the Prince twins were apprentices and ought to be studying to for their own exams. And even worse in Rowan's case, she was preparing for the Triwizard Tournament as well. Maybe a thread of guilt finally hit them or the fact that Slughorn actually threatened them with detention. Either way, Severus and Rowan were finally left alone.

The warm month of May just flew away and two weeks before the end of May on a Tuesday, Rowan and Severus found themselves in Professor Boa's classroom taking the practical exam for Alchemy. It was surprisingly a cinch. Not only were most of the questions on the exam were Herbology and components related, but to write down the formula for said alchemy creation.

Rowan especially zoomed through the test and only finished an hour later. Severus on the other hand took a bit longer, but he still finished fairly quickly. Professor Boas was thrilled as he said, "Vonderful! I look forvard to grading da exams!"

Since they finished their exam rather early, the two of them headed up to Dumbledore's office to wait. The two of them blinked at finding Professor Dumbledore with another figure. Severus blankly stared at the wizard with short dark hair neatly parted to one side almost unnaturally straight. But most especially the narrow toothbrush mustache. 

While they were in primary school, Rowan and Severus had in fact studied World War Ⅱ, they felt that such a mustache might not be very appropriate in muggle society. Especially when such a mustache might be very offensive to a certain group of people in the world.

Rowan at least on her part recognized the prim, proper wizard, Bartemius aka Barty Crouch Sr. But what was he doing here? Was he here on some sort of assignment?

Dumbledore beams at them and says, "Mr. Crouch will kindly be the ministry's delegate to witness the both of taking your mermish exams. Mr. Crouch is fluent in mermish and is delighted to be here." That was a lie, because Mr. Crouch looked anything but delighted to be here with them.

"Thank you for coming, Mr. Crouch," Rowan and Severus politely said.

"I couldn't very well miss this opportunity," Mr. Crouch crisply relied.

"Good, then we'll begin with the translation portion, before moving onto the practical verbal portion of the exam," Dumbledore said with a pleased expression.

Rowan and Severus put their school bags away in their desks, before Mr. Crouch handed them anti-cheating quills and a roll of parchment. "I have already written which needs to be translated on the board. Please write an in-depth essay in Mermish in response to the prompt."

"Yes, sir," Rowan and Severus replied as Rowan resisted the urge to flip him the board. Mermish was already difficult on her vocal cords, but not as bad as Gobbledegook given that she could make the high-pitched shrieks. But still, it wasn't a language she'd ever have chosen to learn.

Concentrating on the task at hand, the two of them began to translate the Mermish poem, before translating the question about comparing the Mermish style of poetry to that of wizard poets. Rowan and Severus draw a blank as they'd only studied muggle poets never Wizard poets. And what would a wizard poet even right about? Magical creatures and the bleakness of a potion?

Slowly raising her hand, Mr. Crouch frowns at Rowan. "Yes, Miss Prince?"

"Er, Severus and I never studied wizard poets in primary only muggle poets. Might we instead do a juxtaposition on someone yourself might know, Mr. Crouch? Such as Shakespeare, John Keats, Lord Byron, any one of those or others?" Rowan requested.

"Ah, I'd forgotten to mention that Barty," Dumbledore said with a twinkle in his eye.  "Is there any muggle poet that you might prefer?"

"I suppose I am partial to the American wizard poet, Edgar Allen Poe," Mr. Crouch admitted. "The Raven would do nicely."

"Figures," Rowan privately thought to herself, before starting to write. The poem was quite dark, to be honest, and was about a man haunted by the loss of his lover and the raven that can speak only in reply, "Nevermore." But who was Barty Crouch mourning for? What had he lost that this poem spoke to him? Then again, she had heard from Barty Jr. that his grandmother had passed away only two years ago.

Shaking that trail of thought away, Rowan returns to the task at hand and solemnly concentrates. With some difficulty and the occasional scribbling out, she finally managed to finish her essay an hour after Severus. The brat was better than her at writing Mermish. But then again she had an easier time when speaking the screechy language.

Turning in the exam, Mr. Crouch nods as Dumbledore says, "Let's take a break for lunch, Barty. We'll resume the verbal exam afterward."

"Yes, Professor," Mr. Crouch grumbled as Dumbledore summoned a house-elf.

Mr. Crouch simply stares at the elegantly dressed house-elf that says, "We bring in the lunch now, Headmaster?"

"Yes, please and thank you, Habby," Dumbledore said with a smile.

"It is Habby and the rest of the elves are honored to serve, Headmaster!" Habby proudly said, before apparating away.

Dumbledore catches Barty Crouch Sr. staring and says, "Wonderful creatures, really. They've really changed these past years; they produce such wonderful meals! I'm quite happy to see the change in them."

Mr. Crouch can't quite seem to wrap himself around the idea, no doubt thinking about his own house elf, Winky. A group of house elves pop into the office the girls in their tidy French maid outfits, while the males in their elegant coat and jackets. The house elves happily provide an array of food, before bowing and popping away back to the kitchens.

Mr. Crouch stares at the food as Dumbledore says, "This here is Thai noodles with vegetables, quite tasty might I add. That's a meat dish from Mexico called, Carne Asada. And we can eat it with fresh salsa on its own or put the meat on these round thin flour crepes called, Tortillas."  While Dumbledore chatters about introducing all the food, Mr. Crouch can't seem to believe his eyes.  

After a while, Mr. Crouch tentatively serves himself and apprehensively watches Dumbledore put meat and fresh salsa on a Torti-ya and eats it with his bare hands. Not one to eat food with his bare hands, Mr. Crouch instead serves himself a scoop of the grilled mean with said salsa. He hesitantly takes a bite as his entire face brightens it up, it was delicious!

Chewing, Dumbledore hums and catches Rowan's eye. "Oh yes, the Hogwarts house elves are paid and given on day per month. The things they've gone out buy for themselves such a proper clothing or going out to learn new recipes. Oh yes, it most certainly has paid off!"

"House elves being paid how utterly ridiculous," Mr. Crouch snorts.

"Tadbey, our house elf is free and is paid," Rowan knowingly interjected. "And as for Dawn, his wife, despite being traditionally tied to the Prince family she is allowed to order and purchase things for herself from a Prince fund that has been set up for her personal use."

Mr. Crouch looks startled by both ideas, but the appeal of setting up a fund for his house elf to use appealed to him greatly. And especially if his house elf, Winky learned how to comport herself properly like the house elves of Hogwarts and no doubt that of the Prince's. He rather liked the idea.

Not much was said during the rest of the meal nor during the verbal exam, but slowly the wheels of fate were turning. By the next day, Winky was sent to Hogwarts to learn how to be a proper higher severing elf. 

Naturally, the Headmaster had to first allow the foreign house elf into Hogwarts, but an oath must be sworn to never bring harm to Hogwarts in any form or manner nor much less reveal her secrets. Once the oath was given by the master and house elf, Winky was permitted into Hogwarts kitchens.

Over the course of the next week, Winky was brain washed by the Hogwarts house elves, before being sent back with the proper spirit to serve. Later in May, when Mrs. Crouch invited her friends over, they were all shocked how neatly Winky looked and the delicious new treats she presented them with. 

Naturally, Mrs. Crouch gave all the credit to the Hogwarts House Elves and the Prince Household. After that, any pureblood family or those with house elves were sending them to be taught and trained at Hogwarts. Slowly, but surely the wizarding society had begun to change for the better in regard to the House Elves. It wasn't a very big change and the house elves weren't free yet, but it was one giant step in the right direction. And one day, maybe, just one day there would be a house elf who'd like to serve independently within the Ministry of Magic.

" I am recently pregnant.... " she said and that's the last thing I wanted to hear from her. Birds who doesn't deserve little ones are blessed with kids and look at me who is desperate to have a kid is having none. 


" And I was looking for a nest where I can lay my eggs and after some search I found a nest where I can lay my eggs, The raven mother is pregnant and I have counted the days our due day is same...." she continued, I don't understand which root she is taking but something tells me whatever she is going to suggest is going to be illegal. 


" Usually I break the eggs of the eggs of the mother but this time for you I can bring back one egg for you and than you can have an heir and your husband. " she said , really what else was I expecting from her ? , she wants an reply what should I say ? 


" But thats not right....this is cheating and I don't want to cheat my husband. " I told her and she scoffed and told " Than do whatever you want...attended his wedding and see them lie here in this nest enjoying there honeymoon while you will mourn with broken heart. " she said and the old fear of being left alone crept back in me , no I have to do something. 


" But what if others knows about it ? And what about the poor mother she will be so devastated when she knows the truth and if she comes to know her kid is with me and come here to take him ? " I asked her many questions at once , its not I entertain the idea its just I want to know what's going on in her mind right now. 


" Don't talk like foolish... who will know about it other than you and me ? , and I was going to smash those eggs anyway so it would be better for them as they will get life.....and what life they will be prince or princess of their community, And us laying eggs on others nest is so common why would anyone question you about it ? If you have problem raising others kids than...." she didn't finished her sentence but I know what she means by that so I told " Kids are gods gift I am not worried to raise them even if they are not mine. " She nodded like she was expecting the same answer. 


" What about your mate ? He knows you are pregnant ? " I asked her , she rolled her eyes and told " He left within a week any yesterday got another bird , he is not interested in me or this kids at all , but than its so natural in our community " she said but her eyes looks sad like she had enough of the shit that's going on around her. 

" I have read a poem once and from that time I never feel sad on such occasions , the poem goes like this , its written by Alexander vasiliu -

" And that has made my heart relaxed , I don't beg for love any so doesn't get hurt. Its a sweet feeling , a genuine gift of god not something which can be traded for an heir. " she said , my days are so bad that I am taking love advice's from her. But she is right....its just I still don't want to understand the truth, I don't want to face the fact that in name of heir Asher wants to marry someone else. I so very want to believe that he is doing it for his kingdom and not for himself. 


" What's the plan ? " I asked her , she was silent for sometimes than told " You will tell asher that you had a dream where you saw ' lord Saturn ' and he told you too take an early bath with Asher and send three days with you here and if you do as he said than you will be blessed with a kid. you stay on fifth day declare you are pregnant and on seventh day I will deliver the egg to you and you will become mother. " she said well her plan is not that bad but its full of risks. 


" There is no or , maybe or let me think , its decision time ....you decide what you want. For your happiness you are the one who have to take action no one else will do that for you , you have to fight your own wars. " she said , she is not wrong its just I don't want to cheat my Asher and moreover me who is so desperate to have a kid can imagine the condition of the mother who will lose her kids. 


" If you start thinking about everyone than you will be the one in loss. If you husband can think of marrying again for kid you can do whatever you want , at least you will not leave him like he is planning to leave you. " she said and for the first time in my life I think she is right , if I want my life than I have to fight for it myself. 


" we were known for love , for our togetherness and where life has made me stand Zinna....you should be happy to see me in misery why are you helping me ? " I asked her still curious.

 " well , I am happy for your misfortune but I told you I have my  intentions ...my aims for helping you and you will help me get those soon. Moreover its not fun to fight with weak opponent so I am making you strong so that we can fight equally. " she said . 

" Well then I agree , soon we will start the plan and do as you say. " I told her and she nodded , I have to convince Asher but first send priest away or he will create problem in the work . Hope everything goes well and I get my Asher back .

Hogwarts:
Third POV, (harry):
           Harry James Potter has always been the same. Even if the circumstances changed and resistance is tested a thousand times, (usually leaving him with a broken heart), he had always been the same. He was never brave or trusting. At least not as much as he would like to be. But at least now, he started slowly trusting Hermione. He did not understand how to be good. He did not understand what to do. But most of all he did not understand how and what to understand. His world had changed a lot ever since he saw that parchment at Gringotts. And now he is at Hogwarts, not knowing what to do about his newly found and beloved mate. Oh, how he despised the fact the Malfoy of all people is his mate. But then again, old Dumbles had put compulsions on him to hate them, and the poor guy had gotten used to it. He hates the fact that  Ginny forced a love potion into him and Ron stole from him. He could not understand why Mrs. Weasley has hated him, even though he loved her as a mother. He couldn't understand the reason his professor hates him. Or how exactly what has happened, happened. A part of him did not want to believe the absolute truth, but another part of him wants a family. A family that he never had. A family that Dumbledore did not allow him to have. He wants to feel the love that he does not understand nor have. He may not like how his life turned out like but then again may like how it will be in the future. But that's not for him to know yet...
Third POV(Draco's):
            Draco Lucius Malfoy has always liked Harry Potter. Ever since Madam Malkins. But after his pride got damaged, he acted as if he hated the said Raven. But he never had. He had hoped that Harry gets sorted to the house of snakes even if he knew that his hopes get dashed. He came closer to Potter as his rival, as he can never be otherwise. But now, his hopes rose again. Harry accepted him, Draco Malfoy, as his friend. When the gods asked him to help the wizards, he was truly saddened to part with his family. But the blond's hopes rose again when he met Harry, only to get dashed again his hand was rejected. 
           His luck only seemed to increase when his half-sister and others decided to come to Hogwarts and Harry makes him a friend. (Though that was his sister's doing). But merlin knows if the blond can overcome his crush on the pretty Raven.
Harry POV:
                      It has been a long month. Classes according to others, are hard. But, with his newly - found book- wormish nature, and a new fitting wand, started to score rapidly. His teachers were thoroughly amazed at his newly found skills and started teaching him special courses. Snape was surprised at his knowledge of potions when he naturally quizzed him at the beginning of the year. He was surprised but understood the fact the snape did not know that he was his son. Bumblebee had obliviated the poor guy about his husband and son. He doubted if his father was obliviated too. Or worse he was under the imperious?.
