Witchcraft is the practice of magic used by witches. Before a witch has come into their power, they're considered "untapped", and their magic is considered pure. However, after awakening their power, witchcraft can encompass many different types of activities, such as spell casting, astrology, divination, and spirit communication, to name a few. This also includes the practices observed by many cultures, nations, and religions as well as many books and writings dating back to ancient times. Depending upon the individual, some witches practice their power by certain belief systems, such as Shamanism, Voodoo, Wicca, or any number of other magical practices. Although the majority of traditional witches are commonly portrayed as being kind and selfless humans who use their powers to maintain balance within the world, this is not absolute. Some witches go directly against the Balance of Nature by practicing their powers for dark and sinister or selfish deeds, while a few darker witches go so far as to subvert the very laws that Nature governs.

Different types of Magic

Ancestral Magic

Ancestral Magic is an extremely powerful form of witchcraft that is commonly practiced by the Nine Covens of New Orleans. Similar to Spirit Magic, this form of sorcery draws its energy from the power of ancestral witches who have been consecrated on New Orleans soil. However, according to Sophie Deveraux, this power can only be harnessed within the boundaries of New Orleans, meaning that should the witch abandon the area, their power will diminish and will be forced to utilize other forms of magic. In addition to this, should a witch abuse the power that has been given to them by the Ancestors, the spirits can repeal this power from any witch in New Orleans, including the Regent. Since the release of the Ancestors from the Ancestral Well, Ancestral Magic is extinct from New Orleans.

Connective Magic

Connective Magic is a form of sorcery that allows a witch to create a semi-permanent bond that draws strength from other supernatural beings, such as another witch. The witch, Dahlia, however, invented her own brand of this magic which allows the casting which to channel another witch's power while also augmenting said witch's power. She also used this magic to draw on the strength of an immortal being to achieve true immortality in conjunction with her Immortality Slumber Spell. However, neutralizing or killing said immortal being would similarly affect the witch. Unlike Sacrificial Magic, the target in which energy is drawn from is not hurt.

Dark Magic

Dark Magic, also coined "Black Magic", is a powerful form of sorcery that draws on malevolent powers and may be used for negative purposes; e.g. to cause destruction or misfortune, to injure or kill, or for the profit of oneself rather than for the benefit of others. In popular usage, the term "Dark Magic" is often used to describe any form of sorcery that is used against the Balance of Nature.

Expression

Expression is an extremely powerful form of sorcery that draws on dark energy that is so malicious, it would supposedly demolish the world if it were ever called into existence. The details and history of expression remain unknown, however, according to the witch, Nandi LaMarche, the forces of expression are considered so powerful that many witches discredit it as magic, for it expands beyond the limitations of both ancient and modern witchcraft.

Kemiya

Kemiya is all about the chemistry and connection between two witches.

Kemiya is an Arabian form of magic that allows a witch to physically destroy the elemental foundations of an object to create another or to magically imbue said creation with harmful, supernatural properties, thus creating a dark object. Requiring two witches to perform, the potency of its spells are determined by the chemistry between the two practitioners. Kemiya is said to cross the boundary between magic and science, utilizing aspects of both. One such notable example is the creation of the Gold Dagger; i.e. turning silver to gold.

Necromancy

Necromancy is a brand of sorcery as well as a magical practice that allows a witch to contact and communicate with, control and even reanimate the dead. While most witches who practice necromancy are known to channel dark magic, it is known that a witch can use any magic of their choosing to practice necromancy. With the destruction of the Other Side, Bonnie referred to Alaric's attempt at raising Josette's spirit as necromancy, as her spirit wasn't behind a Veil that they could lift and she'd magically appear. According to Vincent, Necromancy is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. One such coven banished their members that became obsessed with dark magic, necromancy, and immortality spells - they became known as the Kindred. According to Dorian, necromancy is everywhere in occult literature and it is a form of sorcery that dates back to ancient Greece. The Necromancer was world-renowned in the practice of necromancy, particularly raising and controlling dead humans in the form of zombies. However, his legacy was forgotten from the world due to Malivore.

Sacrificial Magic

Sacrificial Magic can be a powerful form of sorcery, though it is highly dependent upon the ritualistic sacrifices of natural and supernatural beings. Similar to expression, this form of sorcery can draw upon the energy, in various forms, from any supernatural creature that is sacrificed. According to the witch Vincent Griffith, sacrificial magic is but one of the many branches of witchcraft that is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans

Spirit Magic

Spirit Magic was a very powerful form of sorcery that drew its power from the Spirits who resided on the Other Side. Unlike other forms of magic, except for ancestral magic, spirit magic could only be used how the Spirits saw fit and if a witch abused the power that is bestowed upon them, the Spirits would break the connection between themselves and the witch, preventing them from further harnessing their power. Since the collapse of the Other Side, spirit magic may have become extinct. However, it's been shown that witch spirits that have found peace in the afterlife retain their ability to perform magic, though it is currently unknown if living witches can call upon these spirits for additional aid.

Traditional Magic

Traditional Magic is one of the oldest and purest forms of sorcery inherent to the Earth and the forces of Nature. Traditional magic is undoubtedly the most popular form of witchcraft known-to-man, however, it is also the most exhausting. This is mainly due to the fact whenever a witch uses this power they must exert their energy, which can cause them to experience symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and minor nosebleeds. Bonnie Bennett explained the limits of this power to Jeremy Gilbert, saying that if she pushed too hard, it would push back.

Traveler Magic

Traveler Magic is a form of sorcery that is strictly practiced by a subculture of witches known as the Travelers. This form of sorcery specializes in spirit possession and its spells are performed in a language different from all other forms of witchcraft. Traveler magic is highly dependent upon the magic of the Traveler along with their connection to other Travelers. Only by joining together, in large gatherings, are Travelers able to perform powerful feats of magic. Without access to the magic of other Travelers, their power is considerably weak.

Known Magical Practices

Blood Magic

Blood Magic is a magical practice that refers to the mystical properties found in non-human blood. Blood from different supernatural species possesses different uses, with those most notably from a doppelgänger. Blood from various species can be used by witches to interconnect them with their rituals and spells to draw on their unique properties. One such notable example was when Vincent attempted to use Lucien's blood, as an Upgraded Original vampire to cure the venom in his bite on Cami.

Elemental Magic

Elemental Magic is a magical practice that involves the utilization of the four alchemical elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. A witch with enough magical power can interconnect Elemental Magic within their rituals and spells to draw on their unique properties. Davina Claire once used a subsection of such, known as Earth Magic, in Ashes to Ashes, during her attempt to resurrect Kol Mikaelson - to turn ash to bone and earth to flesh. Witches typically utilize fire, in the form of candles or torches, to aid them in their spells. Other witches like Esther Mikaelson and Ariane have used water as conduits in spells related to divination.

Hoodoo

Hoodoo is a magical practice that mixes occult elements of African, European, and Native American witchcraft along with some Christian mythology. Contrary to Voodoo, Hoodoo is not a religion, but rather an eclectic practice of witchcraft that is strongly based on herbal knowledge and can be used negatively or positively. According to Vincent, Hoodoo is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans.

Representational Magic

Representational Magic is a magical practice that uses representative objects to manipulate reality. Its origins remain unknown; however, it has existed at least as far back as 10th Century A.D. According to Vincent, representational magic is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. Usually, such spells use much more power than one realizes. It's also very delicate magic that requires considerable concentration by the witch who practices it. One such use of Representational Magic is for the creation of a Chambre de Chasse.

Shamanism

Shamanism is a magical practice used by indigenous witches known as shamans. Shamanism is described as a way of life, focusing on connecting with Nature and creation where interaction with the spirit world through altered states of consciousness is used to achieve divination and healing. A tribe of shamans was known to create the Huntress, by sacrificing their lives to imbue her with great power to destroy vampires. This practice has slowly faded from the world and is rarely seen, though legends and lore have kept this all but gone.

Voodoo

Voodoo is a very old magical practice, that is also a religion, used by some witches. Voodoo is described as a set of spiritual folkways that originated from the traditions of the African diaspora. It is a cultural form of the Afro-American religions which developed within the French, Spanish and Creole population of the state of
Louisiana
. According to Vincent, Voodoo is but one of the many branches of witchcraft and is popularly practiced by many of the witches in New Orleans. The practice of voodoo, however, extends as far north as Chicago,
Illinois
with the witch Gloria, as she was a self-proclaimed "old-school" voodoo practitioner.

Spell Casting

One of the main components of witchcraft is the ability of witches to cast spells. Spell casting is a power of witches and witch-related species such as siphoners, witch-vampire Hybrids and, possibly, werewolf-witch Hybrids to work magic through the recitation of incantations. This allows users to magically alter reality to a wide number of effects or to evoke forces to change their surroundings. Though this is an ability possessed by all witches, it can also be achieved through thoughts, gestures, and rituals, although generally spoken.

Concentrate. Forget about the vampires. Focus on tapping into your power, listen to the sound of your heart beating, the sound of your lungs filling with air.

Spells are capable of producing a wide variety of effects, both harmful and helpful. They can produce physical or chemical changes in a person or object. They can also have profound mental effects such as altering memory, manipulating emotions, or causing magical compulsion (such as forcing someone to speak truthfully).
Spells can manipulate other kinds of magic, such as binding (preventing the use of) a witch's powers, transferring powers between individuals or objects, breaking magical barriers, lifting or casting curses, protection from harm, and range from healing to resurrecting the dead. Some spells require more than one witch to make them work to increase the amount of magic and therefore potential power available for the spell.

The capabilities of spell casting are nearly limitless, though it depends on the type of magic being invoked, the proficiency of the witch, and the spell being cast. A great majority of spells contain a spoken component, notably known as an incantation. An incantation is written and recited as a verse that can vary widely in length from a single word to a short phrase, to a long verse repeated to completion. Some spells consist of only an incantation where others have additional and/or specific components as well. A spell may require the use of certain tools, ingredients (herbs, stones and minerals) or the use of additional power such as from talismans, celestial events or a specific kind of magic.

Spells and Rituals

One of the defining characteristics of a witch is their ability to cast spells; a "spell" typically being the word used to signify the means employed to carry out a magical action. A spell could consist of ritual action, a set of words, a verse, or any combination of these. For reasons unknown, the majority of spells used by practitioners of traditional and spirit magic are spoken in an ancient language very similar to Latin, while the ancient witch Qetsiyah performed her spells in Aramaic (a language that originated from the Middle East). However, witches who practice other forms of magic have been known to use spells in different languages; for example, the French Quarter Coven, which practices ancestral magic, performs their spells in French or French Creole, while the Travelers typically perform their spells in Czech. Dahlia and Freya Mikaelson have performed spells using a yet to be identified ancient magic in Old Norse, similar to the modern-day Norwegian, Icelandic, Germanic, Danish, Scandinavian and Swedish languages.

Known Magical Celebrations

Certain days are celebrated by witches for the high magical potential they represent. These traditions are observed particularly within covens. The best-known celebrations so far come from the witches of New Orleans, which hosts the largest number of known covens.

Fête des Bénédictions

Meaning "Blessing Festival", is celebrated by the witches of the French Quarter in agreement with the local community in which people offer gifts to the Harvest witches in exchange of blessings. Witches offer a demonstration of their powers during a parade held in the French Quarter and then a party is held in a luxury building where guests deposit their gifts at the feet of the witches who are sitting on thrones. From the words of Genevieve, it seems that this festival had been suspended by the restrictive policy of Marcel Gerard and not by the fact that it celebrates solely the Harvest witches every three hundred years when the Harvest Ritual is accomplished. So it's likely that the gifts are offered to the most important within the hierarchy at the time.

Fête de Cadeau

Literally "celebration of the gifts" in French, this festival is celebrated by the totality of the Nine Covens of New Orleans in the City of the Dead. Every witch brings an animal - generally goats - to the Regent to be sacrificed and bestow benevolence upon the community. The festival lasts all day long and the evening seems to be devoted to revelry while the proper religious ceremony is celebrated in the morning.

Coven Day

Coven Day is a tradition established at the Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted to provide an opportunity for all of the school's witches, students, faculty, and staff, to celebrate and take pride in being what they are - witches. Throughout the day, it also allows the students to learn about the six unique covens that make up the school's magical community.

Trivia

Along with Spell Casting, Channeling, is yet another basic characteristic of a witch's power.

Some spells can replicate the effects of magical powers such as pyrokinesis, telekinesis, or pain infliction though they may also be the result of non-verbal spells or simply spells that help focus these powers.

Spells and Rituals are recorded in grimoires by witches to collect information and improve their work.

Contrary to the novels, the television show does not mention the practice of Wicca, however, it is possible that traditional magic could be a symbolic representation of Wicca as traditional magic is deeply concerned with the Balance of Nature.
Contrary to popular belief, representational magic is not a type of magical power, but a type of magical practice. Necromancy, however, has been referred to both a form of sorcery as well as can be used as a magical practice. Since magic is based on its source of power, representational magic does not qualify as a form of magic, any magic chosen by the practitioner can be used. For example, Monique Deveraux used ancestral magic to cast a representational spell that would prevent Céleste Dubois from cheating death. However, Finn Mikaelson used sacrificial magic to cast a representational spell to trap Elijah, Klaus, and Kol inside of a Chambre de Chasse. According to the Harvest Witch, Cassie, the Kindred used dark magic for immortality and necromancy spells, while other witches, such as Qetsiyah, used traditional magic. The Necromancer specifically excels at the use of necromancy and once became world-renowned.

According to Elijah Mikaelson, objects enchanted by witchcraft can only be destroyed by using the elements of water and fire.

According to Freya Mikaelson, a witch's magic can be anchored to one's home which is sometimes required in spells. If a witch is never in one place for a long period or has no ties to anyone or anything, they will have no anchor. However, witches can use people as anchors, however, doing this allows the witch to see inside the mind of the respective anchor(s).

When attempting to penetrate the mind of Eva Sinclair, Freya stated that without an anchor, she would be lost inside the mind of Eva, along with both Rebekah, Marcel and Vincent.

In Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, it is revealed that alchemy is a magical practice that is studied and recorded from the Iberian Peninsula from southwest Europe. Hope studies this, "Locator Spells in Twelve Ancient Languages" as well as the magic of the Middle East, from several grimoires. She explained that she was "examining regional magic as it relates to sociopolitical and economic statuses"; however, this was an attempt at breaking powerful cloaking spells. Freya also states that trying to break every possible spell in those books would take her a thousand years to perform.

The red dragon's roared past.
After shooting out the first round of dragon breath, it dived down.
The northern witches began to aim their spells at the red dragon in the sky, but there was little magic that could cause fatal damage to it since the adult red dragon had strong spell resistance. Spells below level 3 would hardly do any damage to it; sometimes, it was even impossible to break the dragon scale. Adult red dragons had a 10 point spell reduction. Its body was immune to any spell attack with less than 10 damage, as well as any fire damage.
"Fireball!"
A huge ball of fire came down from the sky.
However, it did not come from the other spellcasters; it came from the dragon.
As one of the most powerful dragons, the adult red dragon had a spellcasting level of 7-9. It was roughly equivalent to a level 8 or so Dragon Disciple. There were few dragons that would study, that was why all their spells were naturally known to them. A studious giant dragon was quite scary. This kind of giant dragon was very rare, and they would interact with humans.
BOOM!
An explosion was heard.
The first attack did not break the formation of the witches, but the second fireball had wiped out a group of the summoned creatures.
The spell of the dragon--even though it did not have as many spells as the witches--still had many spells.
The red dragon did not use the low-level control spells, because they couldn't threaten the high-grade northern witches. All it used were AOE spells, aiming to clear away the summoned creatures. It was very cunning and knew how to use tactics. It even knew how to select weak enemies to attack. So when it found that it had an opportunity to attack the northern witch's formation after clearing the summoned creatures, the red dragon immediately swooped down.
"Wing Attack!"
No spell was greater than the Strength of the dragon.
The adult red dragon had the highest strength among the other dragons. Without any inheritance, the dragon still had a minimum Strength of 33.
This amount of Strength was enough to flatten any creature of the material plane!
That was why anyone who got hit by the dragon wings would be killed on the spot, or their whole body would be broken.
This was the same for the northern witches.
Its why when they noticed the swooping attack of the red dragon from the sky, and the Wing Attack that followed, the northern witches all activated their Blink spells.
Pang!
An elder Earth Elemental was knocked by 30 meters.
Even though the Earth Elemental was also a legendary creature, it was like a child in front of the red dragon. No matter the size or power, the red dragon would crush the Earth Elemental outright. Dragon wings beat the Earth Element elder into a dazed state, and cracks appeared on half of its body. All the other summoned creatures in the area were also knocked back. Even the demon was smashed by the dragon wings and broke its spine; now, half of its body was twisting and struggling on the ground.
That was the Strength of a dragon!
Taking it head-on would make you disadvantaged.
The northern witches all dodged the dragon wing attack of the red dragon. In fact, the red dragon didn't expect to hit these powerful high-grade northern witches with its wings in the astral plane, a simple teleportation spell, whether Blink, Space Leap, or other similar abilities, could dodge the attack of the dragon. But the goal of the red dragon was also achieved--after the northern witches teleported to avoid the dragon's wing attack, their formation had also completely dispersed.
How could they retain their formation once they've teleported?
The witches not only had to face the red dragon.
So when the summoned creatures, which were used to block the enemy and act as the front line, were destroyed by the dragon, the psionic warlocks immediately grasped the opportunity.
They got an opportunity to attack directly at the witches!
"Dispel magic!"
"Greater dispel magic!"
"Greater wall of dispel magic!"
The psionic warlocks couldn't compare their casting abilities with those of the high-grade northern witches. However, when these psionic warlocks were determined to use their magic to remove the energy protection field of the northern witch, the situation began to change gradually. First of all, a northern witch's protective field was completely destroyed, and then a psionic knight rushed to her, wielding his silver blade and slashing toward her.
Immediately it activated the protection spells of Contingency and also the protection spells of her items.
"Dispel magic!"
"Greater dispel magic!"
The second round of spell attack came, and the psionic knight who was charging over was killed by a spell. However, the last protective shield of the northern witch was also broken. Then there was a twisted figure; a Gith appeared near her, then stabbed her in the back with a silver blade. With all her spells exhausted, the northern witch was as fragile as a straw. In an instant, she was stabbed in the heart by the enemy, and at the same time, her neck was twisted.
Without protective shields, a witch was easy to kill!
The witch that died gradually disappeared. Her body was restored as energy and disappeared. It was hard to say whether she would wake up or not. With the death of the astral projection, one must experience a mandatory test of toughness, will, and spirit. If the person failed, the person might have reduced power, or the body may become a corpse. In the case of encountering an enemy who knew how to attack the soul in the astral plane, the possibility of the body becoming a corpse was as high as 90%!
That was why Soran did not like the astral plane. It was too dangerous!
The death of the first northern witch made the Giths excited because they knew that the powerful high-grade witches in front of them were not invincible.
The battle continued.
However, no one else could see Soran because he had put all his skill points into stealth, and his whole person was now completely invisible. As long as no one used a detection spell near him, few could detect the presence of Soran.
Soran was waiting for an opportunity!
Not only was he waiting for the dragon to launch an attack, but also waiting for the witches to further consume the dragon's vitality.
There were not many spells that could kill a dragon instantly!
Even legendary spells were hard to break the great immunity of the adult giant dragon, but that doesn't mean that magic couldn't cause damage to it. In fact, when the red dragon flew from the sky, it had entered a light injury state. Its dragon wing attack destroyed the formation of the summoned creatures and killed all the low-level summoned creatures. Only the higher-grade Elementals remained nearby. The red dragon was not in a hurry to deal with the witches, because it knew that the witches were quite dangerous. If it was too impulsive, it would be struck down by legendary spells.
The cunning red dragon was not going to waste its HP!
"Dragon tail swipe!"
The red dragon was cleaning up the nearby Elementals. These summoned Elemental elders were not its opponents, but eliminating them could greatly increase the pressure on the northern witches.
Soran's figure slowly got close.
When the huge red dragon tail swept over, his figure also immediately launched out. Soran's target was the abdomen of the red dragon, which could cause damage to the internal organs of the dragon. However, to hit the heart of the dragon, one would need a dragon-slaying spear; the body of the red dragon was big, sp ordinary weapons couldn't reach the heart at all.
The dragon was in front of him. When he was near the body of the red dragon, the huge monster seemed to have felt something. It flapped its wings and wanted to hit the potential enemy. However, Soran swerved and dodged, avoiding the wings of the dragon. He then grasped his curved sword tightly and aimed it at the dragon's abdomen.

It was a very different feeling.
Soran easily stabbed into the body of the red dragon as if it had no dragon scales.
Then he noticed that when he attacked, he unconsciously stabbed the gap between the scales. Dragon scale was not a complete piece, it was a solid scale, and each scale had a small gap between them. It was useless to pierce the front, but with an angle, he could attack the gap between the scales.
Soran never knew about this because he never had such a great technique--to be able to launch an explosive attack but keep high precision.
However, it seemed that he had done so.
Soran not only do this amazing feat but when he clenched the curved sword and stabbed it through the gap of dragon scales, he also felt everything on the curved sword. He broke the tough dragon skin and stabbed it into the muscle layer of the red dragon. After stabbing the muscle layer, the curved sword he clenched seemed to become his finger. He felt that the curved sword was approaching a ligament.
All creatures were held together by many muscles!
Even muscles had a great defense. However, at the connecting areas of a muscle, the defense was the weakest.
"Dismember an ox as skillfully as a butcher!"
This was what Soran thought about.

As soon as Divina said her speech, she immediately took the knife from Sophie's hand and slashed Sophie's neck.

The witches who were confused at first were immediately shocked by the sudden turn of events.

Divina who did all this was just standing in the altar looking at get 'work'. After a while Divina said, "I only killed a few of you, but try to catch me or threaten others to kill me, then I'll make sure that I take each and everyone of you with me."

All the witches who were alive were shivering thinking about the events that had just transpired. 

After saying that Divina started to walk towards the exit. As she was walking, the managed to notice one thing, that is, Divina was unscathed. Not a single one of their spells had hit her. They were all shocked to see this.

Soon Divina exited the cemetery, and all the witches present there knew that they could do nothing to get her back here. They all regretted deeply for not killing her last year itself.

Divina smiled at them and made a handsign and *poof* turned back to Max. He said, "Now this feels much better." After that he looked at everyone and said, "Well, 30 of them died. For the rest of them, let's just say that they won't be planning to search for Divina anymore."

Klaus laughed and said, "Hahaha. I wish I could see their bloody faces now."

Hayley who was sitting with Elijah looked confused, and Rebecca who was dealing her wine suddenly asked, "Hey, what's going on? Max was here and he's gone now, and this Divina turned to Max. So who are you, Max or Divina?"

The 7 then raised their rifles and fired at will.

Soon gunfire drowned the room.

Witches dropped left and right.

"Defensive spells!"

Only Delilah and Pel were left.

When the 2 reached the deck, they tried to get on they're brooms, but took a bullet through the knee.

When they reach there, they saw the warriors of other packs with some young witches and wizards who had gone to pick them were already waiting for them outside their Mansion. 

She leads them inside the mansion and show them their rooms, then take them to a huge magical training ground, she had prepared while she was in the Coles packhouse and teleported it near her mansion. It consists of obstacles course, with almost exactly looking dark witches, vampires, and Rogues dummies with exact matching powers to train them. 

After that, she told Nikki to show them, how to pass the magical obstacles course in both human and wolf form, then leave them to train themself. 

Then She takes Nikki and other white witches and wizards inside the mansion to discuss the spells, items they needed for protection spell and alarm spells, how many layers of protection they wanted to put in the area, where she had cursed the dark witches of shadow coven to sleep for eternity. However, she had already put the strongest 3 layer protection spell, she was doing it to make sure, the protection spell she has put over there was still intact and to take precaution just in case, they find them and manage to get their hands on them. 

After discussing for 2 and half an hour, they finally decided to go with 3 layer protection spell with an alarm system and prepare the list of the items and the number of items they are going to need for the spell and make it double too, deciding to put the same layer of protection spell with alarm in the mansion they are staying too. After that, they all go to the kitchen to prepare lunch for everyone. 

Then they arrange everyone lunch at a buffet and call them for lunch. After lunch, the werewolf goes to their rooms to have some rest, while the white witches and wizards stay to do clean up and then divided into small groups to collect the items they need, while some stay at the mansion to train with Nikki and Emma. 

“Okay, I have taught you, how to extract energy from nature, today I am going to teach you, how to share your power and energy with others who need it,” Emma said to Nikki and other Young witches and wizards. 

"It was same as extracting powers from nature, the difference is instead of taking powers, you give a small amount of power or energy to others, now all of you take a seat on the ground, close your eyes and feel the life source around you,” Emma instructed to them and they follow her instruction. 

“Now feel the energy/power flow through your body and concentrate transferring a small part of your energy to that life source and do it only to one life source and not to every life force you feel around you,” Emma instruct them again and they follow it. 

After some time she can see many green lights flowing around the forest and after some time it enters inside the tree or someone. After an hour of training, they got tired and lay down on the ground feeling exhausted. 

“Okay, take a half an hour rest, extract some energy from nature, and then practice again,” Emma said to them and leave with some old witches to prepare dinner for everyone while some remain to keep an eye on the young witches and wizards in the forest. 

After getting some rest werewolf warrior also go back to the training ground to train, on the other hand after training sharing there energy to others, the old witches train young witches and wizards how to counter the spell and train them how to create and cast the complicated spells and sign related to do them. 

After training for some time, everyone goes back to the mansion, exhausted and hungry from all the training, and have dinner. The whole buffet of food in the living room goes empty in half an hour and everyone was full. After dinner, Nikki and the witches help Emma to wrap things up and goes to their room. Nikki takes a hot shower, and changes in comfortable clothes talk with Cole for some time, asking him how it's going in their territory or did they have any 

invasion in pack territory then goes to sleep. 

The next day, everyone has breakfast and all had outside of the Mansion to train and Emma leads all the white witches and wizards to the forest to train them. 

“Okay guys, as you know in the war we are going to face three of them, Vampires, Rogues, and dark witches. So we should know how to differentiate between our friend and enemies, as dark witches cannot take or absorb our energy/power directly but vampires and rogues can observe it, so you need to know that you have given your energy or power to the right person,” Emma said to them. 

“So, in today's lesson, we are going to do the same thing we do while extracting energy, to differentiate between friend and enemy,” Emma said to them. 

“I want all to sit down and close your eyes and concentrate the life force around you, and feel the aura around you, if you feel negativity around their aura that means they are your enemy, and the aura from which you feel positivity is your friend, can you feel it?” Emma asks them. 

“Good, now concentrate on one positive aura and energy and send them a small amount of energy from your body,” Emma instructed them and they follow it. After an hour, she tells them to take some rest and do it again. 

Emma tells some witches to keep an eye on them and instruct them to make them practice extracting energy from nature and sharing their energy with others while fighting the dummies, after letting them rest for some time, and then she leaves from there with other witches to prepare lunch for them. 

After training everyone goes back to the mansion to have lunch and get some rest. After lunch, everyone goes to their room for a nap. After 2 hours nap and after eating some snacks, they all go to the training ground. Emma told Nikki to show them how to dodge the dark witches' spell while fighting with others in both human and wolf form which she taught her a few months ago before her 18th birthday. 

After Nikki teaches them all, the techniques, all the warriors practice it some in human form while some in their wolf form. while the witches and wizards help them by throwing spells and fire, ice, water balls, and electric bolt at them. 

Then after training for a few hours, they take an hour break and then start training again, while Emma leaves for Mansion with some witches to prepare for food for everyone. While the time for dinner comes some witches have come back with the items they have gone to search for, while some were still searching for them. After dinner, everyone goes to their room and fall asleep.
