I am writting this for fun, so dont be hard on me kay? I am trying.

After a rampage of an extremely violent wolf pack, the Darkhides, a wolf pup, Kalmin, is left to die in a puddle of his own blood. Once it seems Kalmin has no chance of survival, a couple stray wolves happen to find him.

[Owen POV]
Amelia looks so beautiful tonight and I can not believe that she is my mate. I could not have wished for a more perfect mate because she would be far beyond anything I could think to wish for. She is just perfect! I know if anyone heard me say this I would be teased for years but when I see her I can't help but think like this. I am just in awe of her every time we are together. I wish I could tell her, but I will every day as soon as I am sure it wont scare her off. The start of the car ride is so quiet, and I want to break the silence but I am not sure if maybe I talk to much when we are together so I decide to keep quiet. 
I offer to let her to play some of her music and was so happy to hear her reaction. I had never seen her show so much emotion before, and the little excited squeal she let out had to be the cutest thing ever. She seemed embarrassed by what she did but I loved it, I feel like she is opening up more. Then I start hearing the lyrics to the song she is playing. The melody is beautiful but sad. The lyrics sound like they are about heartbreak, and I can't help but wonder what made her want to hear such a song. I mean it is a nice song and the singer has a good voice but is that the reason or is it because she can relate to what the song is about. Does she feel heartbroken? Or does she think I will break her heart? I don't want to pry but I wan to be sure I haven't done anything to make her think I would hurt her.
 
"Can I ask why that song is your favorite?" I ask her.
She seems nervous and is fidgeting with her hands, maybe I shouldn't have asked. 
"I usually listen to music based on my mood. I guess I have been a little sad lately." She replies looking down at her hands. 
So she is sad and heartbroken? If this song is her favorite right now she must be sad even now. Is she not happy that she met me? Do I make her feel sad? Samuel starts to whimper at the though of our mate being sad she met us. I want to ask her but before I can she starts to speak again. 
"I mean I was sad before I came here, and well met you." She says softly.
What?! I make her happy then? She is glad she met me? I can't believe this! I can't hold back anymore and I reach out and take her hand. I am so happy, and I had to be closer to her. She is blushing now which just makes me squeeze her hand tighter because I really want her to know how happy I am. I want to tell her so many things, but maybe what I could do is share a song with her that says everything I am feeling.
"Can I play you a song?" I ask her cautiously. 
Her face lights up and she smiles at me. 
"I would like that!" She says happily. 
When we get to a red light she hands me her phone and I search for a song that says everything I feel for her! I hope it doesn't come on too strong but maybe this way I can tell her in a way that she feels more comfortable. 
"You say you'll be down in five

She listened carefully and glanced at her to see her reaction. She seemed to listen to the lyrics carefully and when the song came to the end it looked like she had tears in her eyes. 
'Great! You made her cry!' Samuel says to me angrily. 
'I didn't know she would cry!' I said defensively.
"I am so sorry Amelia; I didn't mean to make you cry!" I say quickly.
On instinct I wrap my arm around her and pull her toward me and hug her the best I can while driving. She tenses up in my hold I think because she wasn't expecting me to grab her like I did, and I instantly regret it and let her go.
"Sorry." I say awkwardly. 
She only moves away slightly and looks up at me but doesn't say anything. I am scared to look back at her, I am sure she is mad at me now. I have overstepped and I am sure she is not happy. I feel sick to my stomach now, I think I have ruined our date being way too forward. 
"Do you mean the words form that song?" She asks softly. 
I am surprised by her question and I give her a quick confused look but replace it with a genuine look.
"Of course I do!" I say wholeheartedly. 
"It is the really sweet. Thank you!" She says before scooting closer and taking my hand into her own and intertwining our fingers. She gives me a sweet smile and turns to look through the window again. 
I can't stop the big smile that takes over my face and I try to pull it back but I am so happy that I just can't. 
'Maybe she will let us kiss her after our date!' Samuel says slyly.
'Calm down Sam, let's just be happy with how things are for now. She may not be ready for that yet.' I urge him to remember how shy she is.
'If she keeps getting closer I can't promise I can restrain myself for long.' Samuel says.
I have to be careful not to let my control slip and him take over if he is already this horny and its only the first date. It doesn't help that he tells me Amelia's wolf really wants us to kiss her too. We finally make it to the restaurant and I reluctantly let go of her hand to rush out and open her door for her. She had already started opening the door when I arrived, so I held it open and closed the door after she had stepped out. She waits for me and turns to smile at me. I smile back and lift my hand offering her to take it and she does. 
We walk hand in hand together into the restaurant, and she moves closer to me wrapping her other hand around the top of my arm. Samuel is howling so loudly that I can barely talk over him to tell him to shut up so I can concentrate. Once inside the girl at the front smiles at us and greets us before leading us to a booth farthest away from the dinner crowd. I had called ahead to make sure we were seated with the most privacy as possible so Amelia would feel comfortable. I am glad I did because I what I really wanted was to just be alone together without people looking at us. 
Once we reach the booth we awkwardly pause not sure how we should sit. Do we sit across from each other or on the same side? I would love to sit next to her but maybe it is not the most practical option. In the end Amelia sits down and decide to just sit across from her. At least that way I could see her beautiful face better, which is a win! We exchange shy looks and smiles before we are interrupted.

Chapter 12. Debut (2)

"We are in the first place!!!"

With that shout, all the people in the room was in the festive mood.
Cai Ming was still staring at the scene while Cai Zong eyes were already red and he was beaming with smiles on his face. He was barely able to stop himself from crying.

The band which had made the background music of the song were hugging each other, laughing and crying. 

They were really happy seen their names in the credits section for the first time. 

Shin Fei was in high spirits laughing loudly and hugging anyone see sees.

While the main singer of the song, Song Xue was already crying loudly and her eyes were still on the screen.

It was a dream come true for her. She had thought that she will never be able to become a singer but now, her song was had taken first place in the music rankings.

Countless singers dreamed of having their song in the first place of the music rankings. Now, she who had just debut had snatched the first place.

She was in cloud nine tonight!

She then remembered the person who given her a chance to prove herself. He had supported her during the recordings, encouraging her, even the song which had gotten her the first place was made by him.

She looked around and finally found him smiling while watching the people's faces in a corner.

She quickly made her way to him and instantly hugged him. She didn't care about the gazes of the people and there wasn't anything to hide between them. She just wanted to express her thanks to the person who had given up hope.

"Littl-little Ren, really thank you.…. If, if you hadn't made that song and giv-given me the opportunity, I would still be a trainee thinking whether...I should give up on…..singing or not"

She sobbed while talking. Her voice was casual and it wasn't feeling like she was thanking the Vice president of the company but her own little brother.

The truth was that, they had come close while recording and Ren had told her to talk to him like she was talking to her little brother. That's why she had changed her way of calling to him.

"You don't have to thank me. It was your own effort and determination that helped you. I had just write a song for you. It was your singing which helps it gain the first position"

I patted on her shoulder and said that.

Although Ren said that, he was just being modest, even Song Xue herself knows that without the song written by Ren, there is no way she, a debut singer would have gotten the first place in the Music rankings.

Music rankings are decided on many criteria such as the popularity of the singer, the quality of the song, the response by the public etc.

Song Xue know that she didn't have any popularity right now, So the music rankings are just based on the quality of the song and the public response.

Ren had specifically chosen this song as it was the most famous Chinese song by a female singer. It was the first Chinese song by a female singer to reach 100 million views on YouTube. 

The song original singer was Hebe tian who had sung this song for a film.

Ren hadn't heard many songs but he clearly remember the lyrics and the beautiful singing of Hebe tian till now.

It didn't gave him the same feeling compare to the original, but Song Xue version of the song was the closest to the original he had heard.

Ren separated herself from Song Xue and watched the employees of the company who were still celebrating.

At that moment, he heard a loud voice, it was the voice of the PR team leader Shou.

"Everyone, our company had shown the entertainment world that we are still in the industry. Our new singer Song Xue had proven it by taking the first place in the Music rankings. Tonight, Let's go drink to our hearts content, It's my treat!!!"

*Chirp* walking through the forest hand in hand with Tia I enjoy the peaceful walk. Behind us are the four bodyguards that I came to know as wolf, tiger, eagle and dragon. They're a quite bunch but I can tell that they are strong.

We had decided that I would leave with them to go to the elven capital in the nation called Eldran where Tia is from. I was happy that the bodyguards allowed me to go despite my true form. I guess as long as I don't do anything that could threaten them it should be fine.

"Hey Anna we need to be careful alright? There are a lot of orc and human patrols that pass through this area. They seem to be looking for you but I promise I won't let anything happen to you."

*Nods* I quietly agree with her words, to be honest even though I'm in a humanoid form my sense of smell and the likes is still a lot stronger than other creatures. I can tell that many patrols of humanoid form have walked passed here.

I could just return to my original form and arrive at Eldran a lot sooner than we would by walking as we are now but we don't want to give away our position nor the fact that Eldran have 'tamed' that beast.

According to Tia it will take around a weeks worth of travel before we arrive at Eldran. So because of that I'm just going to enjoy my time here with Tia. I still don't fully know what our relationship status is so I need to ask. I mean I think it's okay to assume that we're girlfriends but... I don't really know.

Stepping forward dragon spoke "I suggest that we find some place to rest for the night. It can be quite dangerous out here so let's look for a place now."

Looking up I only just realised that the sun is starting to set. I must have been enjoying the atmosphere a bit too much.

Walking up the trail we stopped off at a willow type tree that was a beautiful light blue in colour. Standing at the top of the hill it watched over the area and the rising moons one blue and the other red shine onto the tree. It gives a mystical and breathtaking view.

"I'll go collect fire wood while you guys look around the area. Make sure we're safe and if you can find food."

"Sure thing eagle, come on let's go look around the area. Wolf you go with tiger. I'll go with the princesses and Anna."

*Pout* "Why do you refer to Anna as Anna but me as princess? It's not fair I've known you guys longer."

"Sorry princess it's... orders? It doesn't matter it's just feels like Anna may be more mature than you do so we feel like it's right to call her by name."

"Wha?! What does that mean?!"

Wolf and tiger both walked off waving their hands as they left dragon with the problem. *Giggle* it is quite the funny scene.

After that we looked around the area. *Sniff* smelling the air it doesn't seem like anything dangerous has passed through this area recently.

"Hey Anna, why do you sniff the air?"

Turning around my eyes meet with dragon as she asked me that question. I smiled a little bit as I answered her question "although I may be in a humanoid form I still have my superior senses. I can smell if anything had passed through this area even if they did a few days ago."

*Mumble* "Seems useful. I wonder if I can convince her to join my squad once we return. I'm sure with the queens training she would become an absolute power house even in her humanoid form."

"Huh? Did you say something? I think I heard training and queen but I didn't quite catch that." I said turning back around to meet her. Although I have super hearing the sounds of the forest matching with her very quite talking I couldn't quite hear right.

"Err nothing. Don't worry about it."

Thinking nothing of it I continued to search with the two of them. An hour later we all met back up at the tree. There was nothing to report to we all sat round the fire and watched it glow. Feeling the heat on my face and the sounds it made as the night grew late.

*Crackle* watching the fire brought peace to mind as I recalled a song from my last world. 

"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There's a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby." I continued to sing as I gazed up at the stars remembering the music and lyrics.

As the seconds pass I reach near the end of the song. I look back down to see everyone looking at me.

Silence. Literally silence. No one said a word as they continued to look at me. Tia was the only one without a mask so I looked over at her only to see a face full of awe and tears.

*Clap*....*Clap* *Clap* *Clap* soon the group clapped and they all spoke words of praise to me.

"That was beautiful!" Or "You need to sing that for the queen!" Is what they said. I think it's safe to say I'm not tone deaf and am actually quite good and singing.

The rest of the night was spent getting closer with each other. Although for some reason the bodyguards still kept a certain barrier on Tia. It kinda looked like they were scared to get closer to her for some reason but I don't know why.

That night was by far the best I've spent here in this world. I can only hope that these days continue.

Anna has been a very sickly child ever since she was first born. Being able to live to the age of 15 was a miracle but she never left the hospital. Her parents would visit her everyday, or at least did. When her new brother was born they slowly stopped with the constant visits till they only visited every couple of months. Anna grew cold and nothing interested, the nurses would avoid her and she had no friends to speak of. At one point in time a mentally unstable man had tried to force himself on her but was stopped when the only person who would still visit her stopped him. 

She had one day discovered a film called ‘Godzilla’ which she watch and instantly fell in love with. Every night she would dream of being Godzilla, roaming the world and fighting with both humans and monsters alike. She wanted to become this monster she loves and in that dark space when she met her it came true.

Two hours later, I was walking through the mall. Rune had left us earlier and claimed he'd meet us with the rest of the boys in the food court. That left me alone with Alex once again. She still looked like me at this point, which caused me to wonder why she could maintain the form now and not earlier. We had stopped at three stores before now. Occasionally, I forgot what she was. For a bit, it actually felt like going shopping with the girls.

We each had a few bags of clothing. I had even picked out a cute little purple top for myself. Alex filled it out better than I did, I jealously thought, but I wouldn't let that stop me. We were on our way to the food court, figuring it was about time to meet the boys there. Alex had informed me that we had to leave the boys waiting for just a little. I decided to take her word on it.

The newest hot boy musician's hit song was playing over the mall sound speakers. It was called 'Jane's Dilemma' by a guy named Demetrius. Samantha hadn't let me live that one down. It was about a girl named Jane who had to choose between several men. In the end, she chose Demetrius, of course. Alex seemed to really like the song, though, humming the lyrics to herself. She said it reminded her of her younger days. She was surprisingly worldly and easy to talk to when she wasn't trying to have sex with me. Finally, I mustered up the courage to ask her what I really wanted to know about.

"I figured once Daniel left you would have turned back into a guy?"

Alex shrugged. "Being a succubus is a funny thing. You assume we always turn into someone's greatest sexual desire, but that's not it. We turn into their greatest desire. Sometimes, that means we're not what you'd expect."

I raised my eyebrows in confusion, but Alex didn't say anything more. I decided to change the conversation.

"You knew Daniel; you said he was going to kill you. Can he be trusted? What did he do with you?"

Alex blushed, "Nothing bad if that is what you were thinking."

"I just… I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pry," I replied.

"No, it's fine. I was being melodramatic before. Back in the cave, I was making things worse than they were. It's not simply my appearance that changes towards people's desires, but also a bit of my personality. He had found me a few weeks prior. He had actually saved me from making a really big mistake. For the most part, he used me to try to guess what his mate, I guess that would be you, looked like."

"So he was trying to make you look like me? So that's why you look the way you do now?"

Alex smiled politely, then went on. "Well, to be honest, most of the time his inner wolf was battling with his ideas of a woman. Half the time I ended up looking like a female wolf in heat."

Despite myself, I laughed. Alex joined with me. For a few brief moments, it actually felt like having a sister. I shut the feeling down quickly. She was an imposter invading my home; I couldn't forget that.

"Hey!" Stephan shouted, waving his hands.

Stephan, Andrew, Rune and, surprisingly, Daniel were sitting around a table in the dining area of the mall. That looked like our stop. It almost took my breath away as I looked at each of the boys in front of me. Rune looked agitated to be there. His red hair was gelled up; his shirt was slightly less frumpled than it otherwise might be, tight against his well-toned muscular body.

Andrew wore clean, light colors; a pastel blue shirt, and light jeans. He gave me a golden smile as I came near. Daniel was wearing clothing for once; a leather jacket covering a sleeveless white shirt and black jeans. He seemed almost uncomfortable with all those clothes on. Stephan was by far the most nicely dressed; his button-up green shirt and brown casual slacks covering his unusually pale skin.

I had barely sat down when Rune spoke up. "So you got us all here, what do you want?"

"Actually," Stephan began, "I was kind of hoping for more of this."

"What?" I asked.

"Well you see, last night when we were hunting Daniel, I was thinking to myself that this is actually kind of fun."

"It's fun hunting me?" Daniel interjected with a frown.

"No, not that. I meant it was fun being around people. For most of my life, I've always been a bit of a loner. Never had a lot of friends. Last night, it was actually kind of nice to be with friends."

"Woah, we're not friends." Rune leaned back.

"I think we can be friends," I interjected, causing Rune to quiet up. Did I really want these people as friends? It was too late now; the words were out.

"Well, that got me thinking, why don't we form a school club? Then we'd have real, legitimate reasons to hang out more," Stephan declared.

Andrew raised an eyebrow. "What kind of club?"

"Well, I was thinking something along the lines of an assistance club. Detectives of sorts. We can solve problems around the high school; help people in need."

"You know," I spoke up, "That actually sounds like it might be fun." I actually believed that, to my surprise.

"I'm in," Daniel spoke up, glancing over at me.

"Me too," Alex smiled.

Andrew nodded, "If you all insist on doing this, I want to make sure Jane stays safe. If so, I'm in."

 There are lots of people-students, professors and other faculties on the hallway. I looked and studied their expressions. That's all I do when I am in after shock. His friends screams when they realized the person lying on the floor. The blood… the blood is making me nausea. However, I was walking towards him unconsciously and I reach my hand to him. I don't hear his breathing but I know something was wrong. 

 On his blood I saw different colors… purple…green… however it is still red or am I imagining it? I was about to reach him but someone pull me away. I gasped and my eyes dilated as I awaken from my unconsciousness. My eyes widens when I saw what he looked like. It was scary. His face is pale and there are black nerve bruises… It was awful. I just had known that it was Paul.

Our home was in the middle of woods that few hectares is ours and the few are from our neighbor which is my best friend, Marissa.

I don't know how to count them and nobody can. But those dusk is like Paul, who had died and become ashes. His soul might be with the Gods. But, why did he left the world when he knew that it wasn't his time yet?

"What the hell are you doing here?!" I suddenly yelp at him. That uncontrollable burst and scowl is making my head hurt. Yes, what is he doing here? He tight a smile and sat beside me.

 We rode on his car and admire the outside of the woods. The wind was brushing my hair as we passes the perfect lines of the soldier pine trees like we are in a red carpet on the aisle and the soldiers at our both sides raising their swords. But it was just my imagination and I wonder how it be to be on the red carpet and everyone are saluting you.

"You are thinking too deep that I can't get in to rescue you." He speaks. I turn my head to him as I brushes my hair that are wrapping on my face. 

"Stop talking nonsense." I said coldly. 

"I am talking here with full of meaning, my fair lady." He said with those playful smiles on his attractive lips. I bit my lower lip and punch his arm that makes him almost lost control on the wheel. But damn, he's like a rock. He's damn hard and I think I broke my knuckles. "You punch like a man." He noted and laughs like it didn't even hurt him. Like it was just a tiny sweet pinch. 

"Where are we really going, Nicholas?" I asked him as I propped my elbow on the door and lean my head on my pained knuckles. He turn his head to me with those devilish smiles.

 My face heated up about 40 degree and I jumped into him and started pulling his soft full hair. He had stopped the car while I am pulling his hair furiously. He hold my wrist to stop me but I am freaking mad at him and started punching his arm and chest though I know I am the one who get hurt. 

"You stupid pervert!" I smack his arm.

"Ah!—ouch!" he complains and I keep on smacking him. "I was just kidding!" he explains and I smack his head for the last time and drop my butt back to my seat and breathes to calm myself. I stare at him and he was red from what I did to him. 

"Ugh!" I grunted madly and stomp my feet. He giggles that makes me annoyed more. 

"You're so cute when you are mad." He said it with admiration. I sighed as I roll my eyes looking at the trees.

"I know." I murmur. I grimaced when he laughs. I snapped my furrowed eyes on him. He stopped and looked at me giving me a wink that makes me damn crazy—mad. He was cute and on the way he does that had a big effect on me.
