Note: Volume 1 is a mix of Gate cannon and original work. Volume 2 is mostly a copy of the Italica Arc. Starting Chapter 25 is when the book becomes mostly original with only light story arcs from the gate cannon but with my twist.

A story heavily inspired by league of legends that I just put it in the fanfic section, characters will be seen, locations referenced and lore mentioned.

Kosen is a Faunus of the fox species, and fraternal twin of Li Zhen, a wolf Faunus. She had been vastly adventurous and eccentric since a young age, unlike her more reserved brother, and constantly asked her father if he could train her with her brother.

After Ayuriki had left home to join the White Fang, Kosen pursued to train like him, but with her distrust towards large organizations, instead wants to become a huntress. Will she succeed in her goal or crumble under expectations?

The long hours spent on the trails of the hunt drove all doubts and unnecessary thoughts out of the boy's mind. He was spotted by a dangerous predator and the little hunter habitually prepared for battle. 
For a start, Lee activated the Ice Arrow skill to slow the attack of a dangerous enemy for a moment. He had already realized that all werewolves were as fast as he was. There was no point in running away from such an opponent even if he only had one enemy left in the entire location.
The she-wolf tried to dodge the blue beam of the spell. She managed to duck and the beam flew over the monster's body. 
Lee paid no attention to the werewolf's attempts to dodge its attacks. He knew it would all be decided by a clash and a close contact fight. He had a supply of light health restoration potions and didn't care at all about the fact that he needed to win this fight. 
The boy had already had a lot of fun fighting werewolves and he didn't care about having to defeat this boss. An opportunity to get an artifact? That's foolishness and miserable greed. The loss of passing results? An unimportant loss because Lee clearly understood that the greatest amount of experience comes from repeated and quick passes through Easy Locations.
He wanted to test himself against the most dangerous enemy in this level of the game.
The she-wolf attacked as all werewolves do. These monsters approached the enemy quickly on four paws. But when the werewolf caught up with its prey, it leaped to bring its victim to the ground.
The she-wolf jumped on the boy. Lee barely managed to dodge and struck his opponent's body. He retaliated by getting hit hard with his tail. 
The werewolf jumped up on its hind legs and rushed toward the boy. He paid no attention to his enemy's claws. Lee was good at hand-to-hand combat with such opponents. Years of fights with kittens had taught him many lessons. He struck the she-wolf sharply on his outstretched paw and blocked the blow with his other paw. The tail attack was the most unpleasant part of this fight.
The she-wolf tried sharply to bite the boy. Her mouth clanged its teeth at the little duelist's face. And again its tail whipped at the boy. This time the werewolf kicked at the boy's legs.
Lee threw his head back to avoid the bite and struck the werewolf's muzzle with his fist from the bottom up. The tail kick to the legs threw the boy to the side and prevented him from making a strong attack. 
The duelist managed to leave the location before the she-wolf could inflict more damage on him. Thirty seconds to recover his health. Lee quickly emptied the vials of red liquid. The potion had a neutral taste like ordinary water. 
Lee returned to the location and was immediately hit with a clawed paw to the shoulder. He managed to strike back with his fist and went back to reality.

Lee quickly emptied seven vials of the small potion and regained full health. He was sure that the devious and clever she-wolf was busy restoring her health at that moment.
That's why Lee used the Ice Arrow spell. He wanted the boss to use up all his supply of potions. All monsters have a limited supply of potions! The boy was confident that he had an advantage in at least this part of the battle.
Otherwise, Lee was very unhappy with the way the fight was going. A werewolf is not an animal. It's no coincidence that he has a designation in the characteristics of being like a Human. A werewolf possesses the mind of a human. Unfortunately, the boss showed that this vile likeness of Maria is as cunning and smart as a real spy.
Lee Long struck the palm of his left hand with his fist and began a new attack on the monster. He would need to take at least ten successful strikes to kill this werewolf. An unpleasant fight. An uninteresting and unfair fight.
The she-wolf met the boy with two simultaneous blows from her paws. Lee responded with a hard blow to the body with two fists and instantly fled the battlefield. He regained his health and returned to the enemy. Again the werewolf struck with both paws and even had time to strike with his tail. 
It wasn't the worst attack Lee had feared. He knew that an enraged ferin was capable of striking with four paws and a tail at the same time! In reality, it was a beautiful but not dangerous attack. All the blows in such an attack had little force. But in the game, any strike is not related to the laws of physics. In the game, the damage has a minimum and maximum value. 
The minimum damage of this boss was 80 points. Prima of Pack couldn't instantly kill the boy just because he had 12 points of defense! It is impossible to hit an unprotected face with four paws at the same time. 
The boy stood in his cabin and quickly emptied the Light Health Restoration Potions. This time he was in great pain. Lee managed to think he was lucky! Werewolves are like wolves. But these monsters didn't use the terrifying skill Bleeding! In many games, this skill dealt long-lasting damage. Bleeding is similar to Poisoning. It accumulates strength from multiple uses and is capable of delivering a deadly blow at the most unexpected moment. 
Boss used the skill Powerful Paw. Occasionally a red light would appear on the black fur of her paws. These were the boss' most dangerous attacks.
Lee went back into the fight to deliver another two strikes against the she-wolf. Once again the enemies exchanged blows and the wily boy fled the battlefield!
It wasn't a fair fight and Lee was in a nasty mood. He was emptying his supply of potions and wanted to end this unpleasant mission as soon as possible.
Even when the boy killed the boss he fled the battlefield. The message of victory did not make him the least bit happy.

Lee Long was in no hurry to return to the location. He sat down on the floor and took a piece of pizza out of his inventory. The boy was eating and at the same time healing himself with the Healing skill. He enjoyed feeling the pain leave his body. 
Health restoration potions had a major drawback. The potion eliminated the effects of the damage. But the pain did not go away after full health restoration! His body ached as if he had lost to a strong opponent on the Legion's training ground.
The boy ate pizza and rejoiced that the Magic of Water was a true miracle, and it alone destroyed all the effects of taking a variety of damage.
The location of the Werewolf Forest greeted the player with the sound of leaves and a few spots of blood on the grass. It was strange. The bodies of the enemies disappeared after death. But there were always bloody signs of battle left on the grass.
Lee bent down and picked up his reward.

The trophy was just fine! Lee immediately saw that the black leather belt had a small buckle that allowed him to adjust the size of the artifact. The boy quickly put on the belt and transferred some potions from the player's inventory into it.
Lee scratched his nose and walked towards the Den. The mood was bad, but that didn't negate the need to check out the enemy's habitat. 
The den was not to the duelist's liking. The werewolves lived on a large hill. The ground of the three large underground caves was full of animal bones and all sorts of garbage. The Den had an unpleasant smell. Lee found no chests of supplies or trophies. He realized that Level 1 Locations were not pleasing with trophies in boss habitats.
Upon returning to the real world he was rewarded with six light mana and health-restoring potions.

Lee gladly agreed to leave this strange location. He enjoyed fighting equal opponents. Some of the fights with the werewolves were dangerous fights. But the Hard Level location boss turned out to be a deadly monster. Lee didn't want to risk his life. There was no Rebirth in this strange game!
The boy lay on his bed and made a plan to use the locations. 
Undoubtedly, great importance should be placed on the simplest locations. Spending 30 minutes to gain experience and develop a skill is a great result. A medium-level location could act as a place to find useful artifacts from the bosses. The mid-level boss was a good opponent. Lee was confident that he could defeat any medium-level boss. 
Hard-level locations were good precisely for gaining combat experience! Lee was curious to see what monsters would meet him in the new location. He could certainly gain new skills and replenish his supply of useful potions. There was no need to fight the major boss. There's no need to foolishly risk his life. He has a lot of responsibilities now.
Lee smiled and went to the ship's control cabin. Grrodr promised to tell him how to trade with the dragonids of the Shade Sector. Soon the boy would have excellent practice to test his theoretical knowledge.

"You won't escape," Jin muttered under his breath.
"Grrr, it's an archer human." The three-headed black wolf growled in anger as It turned back to face the upcoming arrows.
"SHOO" "SHOO"
Three arrows arrived before it, each arrow targeted one of its three heads.
"Crack"
With a quick claw punch, the black wolf shattered the three arrows with a single attack.
"HEHE! Too easy." The black wolf smirked inwardly, yet the next moment, its smile expression turned into a stunning expression. A red smoke has emerged from the shattered arrows.
"Growl" The black wolf let out a furious growl as the red smoke entered his three heads.
"Stop running! It's no use." Jin caught up to the black wolf.
"Grrr! Human, what was that?" The black wolf asked with a growl. His body suddenly felt powerless that he became extremely slow.
"A weakening poisonous powder. Now tell me, where is your pack location?" Jin asked calmly.
"HAHA! Human, do you think that I will tell you just because you had asked! Dream on." The three-headed black wolf said in a taunting manner.
"I initially didn't want to do this, but it seems that using force is the only solution right now," Jin said.
"HAHA! And what can you do? Torturing is useless with me, and if you killed me, the entire pack will be alerted." The Black Wolf laughed with confidence. It was only a matter of time before his pack start searching for him.
"Don't blame me later for what will happen now," Jin said as he began to take out a set of golden needles.
"HEH! Pitty tricks. Human, don't try to intimidate me with your empty words" The black wolf scoffed.
"You will see," Jin said. With swift hands, he began to inject the golden needles on the three heads.
The black wolf simply watched with an amusing smile.
"You are done?" it asked after seeing Jin stopping moving.
"Tell me, where is your pack location?"
"Don't you understand? I will never… Argh!" The black wolf wanted to say that, but he suddenly felt nothing.
"The pack is resting at the west, besides the sky river." The emotionless three heads answered with a dull voice.
"Good. Time to go. Wolfie, You will feel some pain when you awake from this state, but don't worry, it would be for a short time." Jin said calmly as he started to remove all the golden needles.
"Jumbo, Let's take the eastern route. We will accelerate our speed to avoid the nearby wolves pack." Jin said to Jumbo who had arrived a long time ago.
"Yes, master."
The Black wolf stood still, it watched the leaving human with a blank face as It lost all of its awareness.
Jin and Jumbo continued their journey in the mountain range, but this time they looked faster.
"Master, may I ask you a question," Jumbo asked politely.
"Yes."
"Master, where are we going exactly?"
"We will go to the nearest city, Sky Mountain City. We will stop there to buy things we would need in our mission. After that, we will go and hunt the demon ranked thirty-three." Jin explained his plan.
"I see," Jumbo said
"With the demon's seal with me. It would be easy to locate our target."
"Oh! I totally forgot about the demon's seal." Jumbo said as he looked at the ring in admiration. No one knows who made this ring, but all the people know that it has the miraculous ability to imprison the thirty-three demons inside.

Meanwhile, the black wolf was brought to his pack location. Another wolf scout had found him and decided to bring him back.
"What happened to him?" A gigantic wolf asked with a growl. What was amazing was that it only has one head. Additionally, its color was white, unlike the other wolves.
"Chief, I don't know! I was scouting a nearby area when I suddenly noticed him. I got close to him and found him like this in this state." The wolf scout reported respectfully.
"Move aside. Let me check him." All the wolves stepped back to make way.
"SNIFF! SNIFF!"
"It's a mind-controlling technique, it must be a human" The wolves chief roared with bloodthirsty eyes.
"OOOOO! Those who harm one of us must die. Boys, the ones who find that human will have a bigger share in our next meal." The wolves chief announced loudly.
"AOOO" "AOOO"
The other wolves howled in excitement.

"Master, the wolves have discovered us," Jumbo said as heard the loud howls.
"Let them be. We are already faraway from their location. Even if they split themselves, they won't dare to enter the dark cave of the mountain range." Jin explained calmly.
The dark cave was a massive cave inside the sky mountain range. It has a lot of entrances leading to different locations, one of those locations was Sky Mountain City. Additionally, The dark cave was famous for its poisonous snakes and darkness. Wolves didn't like to go there, because they won't be able to utilize the advantage of their numbers. Jin preferred to fight the few numbers of the snakes rather than facing the numerous numbers of the wolves.

It was at noon, Jin decided to take a quick break. They needed some rest after spending the entire morning walking. Jin gave some hay grasses to Jumbo while he ate some dried fish with some rice.
They ate in a peaceful manner under a lonely tree that they had found.
Suddenly, a huge silhouette appeared from afar. It walked slowly towards them.
"HMM!" Jin and Jumbo raised their heads to see the identity of the newcomer.
"So, you were here!?" The wolves chief said with a terrifying smile."
"Who are you?" Jin asked.
"I am the leader of the wolf that you have poisoned." The wolves' chief revealed his identity.
"OH! So you came here for revenge?" Jin asked in an indifferent manner.
"HAHA! Not really, what I want is the mind-controlling technique." The wolves chief said with an excited voice.
"Unfortunately, I can't give it to you," Jin said with a small smile.
"HEHE! That's not something you got to decide"
"ROAR"

As the last member of his own sect, Jin must continue his ancestors' legacy. He will hunt down the thirty-three demons who wreaked havoc throughout the entire world, and he will punish who had betrayed humanity.

"Not bad!" Sanguine Rain nodded. He then added, "As mentioned, all of the ambush locations are near shops. Thus, we can conclude that these five shops are their safe hideout. What we will be doing would be to strike them there one after another."

"Striking them down one by one sounds like a good plan, isn't there one just nearby?" a warrior standing behind Sanguine Rain said while pointing to a blacksmith on the map.
This Warrior was called Xiao Xiang Sword and was a Weapons Master that could dual wield. On his back lay two large swords which made him look attention-seeking and cocky.
According to the game's system, it was easier to take out a weapon from one's bag instead of from one's back. Normally, those that placed their weapons on their backs while walking on the streets were those that craved attention and were full of themselves.
"No, we can't!" Just when Xiao Xiang Sword gave his suggestion, both Sanguine Red and Fist of Heaven immediately voiced out their rejection.
"Eh…?" Seeing the two rivals voicing out the same opinion at the same time, the rest of the people were stunned.
"…" Both of them were startled as well. Recovering from their daze, both of them scolded, "What the h*ll? Don't go copying I, your father's, words!"
Jinxed again. The entire scenario looked as if it was rehearsed beforehand.

"Then do you want to be in the same team as me?" Sanguine Rain questioned.
"As if!" Fist of Heaven quickly rejected.

Paul who beside him starts to tap his shoulder, "Look at its chest area."
A bit puzzled by this, Berthold's eyes start to go down and he was started to shudder. After the scene of gory where the Alpha wolf's face was full of blood, he saw that its chest is hollow. Along with the silvery fur of its back, the healthy white bone of its ribcage could be seen.
From what he knows, every living creature should have many important organs protecting by the ribcage bone. He doesn't need to tell what all the important organ does it? But here we are, an Alpha wolf with a hollow chest?
Berthold started to tighten the grip on his spear handle, this new abomination was surely scaring all his soldiers even when he not sure how to handle this situation.
The Alpha wolf only standing there, after its impactful entry there were not many other wolves that could stand so all attention was gathered at this monster alone.
Berthold then noticed that the blood on the Alpha wolf started to travel down to its ribs and he noticed a blood-colored blob that starts to twitch as it absorbing all the blood from the Alpha wolf's mouth.
In just a few seconds, the bloodied in Alpha wolf's fur vanished and the gleaming silver skin awed the others. That was what could happen except the visible ribcage now only shows dread upon the human.
"Berthold looks, there is someone inside the ribcage!" Paul shouted as he pointed at the ribcage area.
Berthold was shocked that what Paul says was true and he noticed that someone could be a girl. He cannot see her face but he sure that he knows her. He started to frown. He noticed her dress, her grass-colored dress was dirty because of the dirt and blood and he could see that she was tied to some of the ribcage bone.
She slumped down and not moving, and like magic was inside the space of it, when the Alpha wolf moves the shakes inside of the ribcage was not bad as he imagined. Wait, the Alpha wolf moved?
Before Berthold could react, he noticed his body was pulled away to the side, "Wake up, the Alpha wolf start its rampage!"
Paul's shout wakes Berthold out and he noticed that the Alpha wolf attack was dangerous than he imagined. The Alpha wolf started to move by leaping through and landed at the highest number of people.  The soldiers were taken by surprise and received a blow just when the Alpha wolf landed.
Seeing a monstrous Alpha wolf already flying on top of your head makes many fall to the ground in fear and was smashed to pulp. Not stopping at that the Alpha wolf started to bite nearby soldiers and blood spurted all over the place.
"Steady! Steady yourself, man! Stay yourself away!" Berthold's shout started to get between the fear of his men.
Paul already launched himself and landed a blow to the Alpha wolf's hind leg and gained its attention. Thanked him in his heart, Berthold started to gather his men to take their horse. They were cavalry anyway, it's better to hit them with a cavalry charge.
Paul's men opened up a way for Berthold to take the Alpha wolf's attention but were faced with a fast claw attack. The situation was worsening, their body alone cannot withstand a blow from such an attack even the wind generated by a swing of its claw was enough to push and hurts a soldier.
They were geared to face normal animals like wild boar or the highest should be a forest bear in this trip to mine a rock, they not ready to face a 5-meter tall abomination which taking appearance of Alpha wolf.
They regret not having more spear-throwing now, but what could they do?
Paul was now the only one attacking the Alpha wolf, holding a heavy saber and small dagger he blocked a blow from the Alpha wolf as he counters attacking its leg. The face and neck of the Alpha wolf were too high to attack, so he planned to restrict its movement but the blow was too small for its size.
And Paul started to receive injury all over his body.
"Knight Berthold's Cavalry is here!" a shout from a soldier surprised the other.
They turned around to see a group of cavalry started to rush out of the cave and cheered at them. They started to move away and saw the cavalry started to from spearhead formation leads by Berthold himself.
Hearing the clap of hooves, Paul distanced himself as turned his head with a worried expression. This puzzled Berthold, but their charge was already en route. So he turned his face to the Alpha wolf and he opened his eye in surprise.
The Alpha wolf was prepared more than he thought, it spread its four legs like ready to pounce. Does it think that a simple pounce could stop us? But suddenly his attention was turned to its ribcage, toward the prisoner that tied inside.
"Helminna!!"
His shout was the trigger for the Alpha wolf to jump, the hind leg was injured, so it cannot jump too high, and the wind blows was enough for him to see clearly the face of the prisoner. He gritted his teeth and raised his spear, "Scatter!"
The command was taken as fast as they could hear it, the spearhead formation was broken apart and they rushing out for different locations. So the wolf pounce was failed. Berthold pulled up his stead rein and turned around.
"So that was the reason for blood on your mouth! You killed the other units that manage to find you holding her!" His anger was enough to make him charging ahead, but he holds himself, he should think more about how to save his lover, and to do that he needs to make sure that the ribcage was not hard enough to stop his spear.
His men which surrounded the Alpha wolf also started to prepare themself to rescue their mistress. They hold their spear tighter and started to move in a circle. The Alpha wolf's eye started to wander side to side. Its glowing red eyes not showing any panic or confusion, it stared at them like mocking their attempt.
The cavalry started to increase their speed in moving in a circle, making the Alpha wolf start to get alert. In between a group of three cavalries started to rush out of the formation and attacking from three different locations.
However before they could get near, a fast side slash from Alpha wolf smashed them. With a flick of the claw, it starts to lick the blood with a satisfied grin.
"It's making light of us!" Berthold glared in anger, "If three cannot stop you, then let's take eight!"
This time, eight cavalries along with him start to charge out. His eyes start to get alert to the Alpha wolf claw, so he started to strike from the side. His eyes traveled to Helminna which is prisoned inside and he vowed to release her fast.
However this time, the strike from the Alpha wolf was getting fiercer than before. When before was only like a wind smashing at you, this time was like a tornado strike. The strike pulled the others in and they were sliced into parts. Berthold was luckier, he manages to guards himself but got knocked out of his stead.
A claw still manages to injure his shoulder and the blood starts to gush out. Holding his spear to support his body, he could not believe his armor was pierced. Almost falling down, Paul rushed at him in time and managed to help him stands, "This is bad, I could hear another howl in the distance. We need to leave."
Berthold snapped his head to the side and glared at Paul, "What!? Are you out of your mind? I need to save Helminna, Now!"
"With injured body and the small number of people? We could be surrounded if the other wolf den was like them, we get out. We don't have enough horse for you to give as a snack for them." Paul persistence to leave this place.
Berthold was so angry that he coughed blood, he could only grimace in pain as he was lifted up by Paul and being put into the cart. He turned around and noticed that Paul's men were already prepared to run. Noticed his stare, a soldier scratched his neck shy, "We were ordered to retreat if we see your unit failed to attack, Lord Knight."
Berthold could not care less any more than to roll his eyes at them. His eyes then turned to the Alpha wolf that surprisingly not chasing them, but stand in place. He noticed that blood on the area started to gather at that location and he frowned.
'Wait for me, Helminna... I swear to save you.' His view started to blur, and he hopes that the escape this time should not be dangerous as when they come.

The capital city of Kavalon Kingdom has been under siege.
