So... as for what I've seen so far, there are not a lot of non-erotic werewolf novels... which is kind of a bummer... So I thought I would add one little novel to this little pile of non-erotic werewolf stories. ShapeShifter is an original work, I'll be trying my best into making it enjoyable for you to read.

Martin had escaped getting straight away from the environment. The reason for his escape was not the Yabet Wolves, who were naturally confronted. These were the other wolves that would come after the wolves. Martin simply realized that the creatures he saw were not a creature. These creatures, which act as herds, were getting stronger as their numbers grew.
If they were together with 50 Brown Yabet Wolf, red yabet wolf could imagine the status of the stadium he had.
Probably by INT 20.0 and the others would be 30.0. Against such power, Martin could never resist. That's why he got away. He couldn't forget the possibility of back-to-back support.
"It's not normal for these wolves to be here. But it could be a good opportunity."
After Martin said those words, he grinned slightly and stopped. The place where he is stopped plunged at the bottom of the top branch of a 100-meter tree. The wolves didn't chase him. Chang Seol has no idea what a shapeshifter is. The inner corners of Sin Jeong-Hyuk's eyes tremble for a moment. He leans back and looks toward the window, watching the barren lands pass by the car.

"There are many theories." No Shi Won explains, "In simple terms, a shapeshifter is who can change into one form to another. It can be a human who can become a wolf or a wolf who can become human."

"Isn't it the same?" Chang Seol creases her forehead. "Human to wolf or wolf to human?"

"It's not." No Shi Won shakes his head solemnly. "For a wolf, a human is a strange species. Someone who is a wolf from birth won't be able to understand the ways of humans even if he turns into one. Sin Jeong-Hyuk studies her in silence, absorbing her words gradually. 

"That's not all." Chang Seol knits her brows. "I see colours around people. When someone speaks, it's brighter."

"What do you mean?" No Shi Won questions her, confused. 

Chang Seol turns her gaze to him. She has expected it to be over but it's happening again. There are vibrant colours around No Shi Won -- drops of a bright yellow, dark shade of green that is the same shade as his serpent skin, and traces of red in the jelly-like bubble around him. It looks like it would pop if someone touches it. But…

She gazes at Sin Jeong-Hyuk. The bubble around him is different. He has a white aura around him with patches of ultraviolet. It's only two colours. She has been close to Mister. The bubble doesn't go away even if she touches it.

"I need to talk to my grandfather about this," says No Shi Won in a wavering tone. "I didn't hear about this ability. I know about synesthesia: a condition that lets humans associate colours with sound but I have never heard of a shapeshifter getting synesthesia."

"If it's synesthesia." Sin Jeong-Hyuk interrupts No Shi Won, "It could be something else."

"That's true." No Shi Won leans forward, interested to hear more. "Do you feel or hear differently?"

"It's louder for sure," Chang Seol replies in a low tone. "I understand that you and I are shape-shifters. I am guessing that our engagement wasn't about a promise and a bet. Tell me everything that you know."

Chang Seol runs away from home and ends up in a sharehouse. Though she has one or two secrets, she only wants to live a low-key life. 

Falling in love isn't in her plans but it happens anyway.

Inside the study, there was a man who might have been in his late forties or early fifties. The man didn't even give a look at Jason who just came in. He was sitting at his mahogany desk, wiping his hands with a white towel. Jason noticed that the man's fingers were lifting red marks on the white towel. 

Jason didn't mind being ignored. There was no confusion about who had the right to keep the other one waiting, at least amongst the people currently inside the room. In fact, Jason was surprised that the two of them were alone in the room. Jason knew that someone would leak the news that the Captain trusted enough to meet him alone. This was both bad news and good news. 

No one in this city would not want to be the Captain's friend, but Jason knew that being the Captain's friend was not as easy as it sounded. Either way, Jason had made his choice. Or by another saying, his mother made the choice instead of him. 

Jason glanced at the man who just laid the towel in his hand on the table. His hair and beard were starting to gray, but still, black could be seen in his hair. His shirt was black. Since the man was sitting at his desk, Jason didn't know what he was wearing for his lower body, but he was sure Captain was armed.

Captain was wearing a gold watch on his wrist with slow movements. He had a distorted version of Rajid's noble aura. From the gold watch to the blood-stained towel, the room was screaming 'blood money'.

''What are you thinking?'' When he finished wearing his watch and put on his gold ring, Captain asked Jason. Jason did not feel safe at all, with the wall behind the Captain built of red-brown bricks in harmony with the mahogany table, and the all-glass wall behind him.

Jason nodded. He was not happy with the meeting time, but he had no objection to say. As Jason was preparing to say goodbye, something came to mind that had been bothering him for a while. He wasn't going to say anything, but the Captain saw the doubt in his eyes.

''What is the problem?'' Captain asked. 

''I... no... another hunter thinks hunters' families can be targeted,'' Jason said. 

''Hmm... it wouldn't hurt to take extra precautions,'' Captain said. Jason nodded. ''If you're worried you should go see her, Jason.'' 

Jason nodded again but he didn't seem convinced. 

Captain sighed, ''My child, if I thought there is someone more capable than you, I wouldn't give you the job. You know that, don't you?'' 

''I'm not questioning your decisions, Captain,'' Jason said.

Captain sighed, ''I don't expect you to put me in your daddy's shoes or anything like that. But when you need something, just ask. Okay?'' 

''I am thankful, Captain,'' Jason said that and he was serious. 

When the captain smiled, his face wrinkled as if he wasn't used to this expression, ''Go now. I am an old man now and this stress is affecting my health badly. Call me if you find out anything useful. I won't give up this deal that easy.'' 

Jason conveyed his goodbye and left the room. The female guard, the guard who woke him from his meditation, and the two guards who took the beaten man out of the study were in the lobby. They all gave Jason weird looks.
