Because unlike the good Chinese novels, bad ones 99% of the time use the classic slop stereotypes. For example talking shit to American goverment, education and social structure like theirs is any good. I am not saying criticism is bad, but they are just insulting or "criticizing" for the sake of it. Or constant face slapping or "losing face" ect. Or how they always fight against heavens because guess what, it is basicly an anology for them fighting against their goverment who is opressing them. These stereotypes already dictate in which direction the story is going to go so no need to read further.
This American education is fully reflected in this class. If you're a genius, then this class is the stage where you can grow up. If not, then you can enjoy this 'fun' time...

What I ment is that you have consumed too much slop to differentiate between good and bad novels and you just read what you are offered like a good dog. Satele who was still watching him found her eyes widening as he closed his eyes and then watched as the objects started to crack and break down until they were like shattered glass. They then started to come together forming a statue in front of Jaden. Satele walked around to see what it was he had built and was surprised to see that it was a girl. While the statue had a mesh of different colours the detail was there. It was most certainly a girl, the only girl Satele had heard him talk about was his accidental apprentice. A smirk made its way onto her face. "Well well, I didn't know my apprentice was so popular," she said aloud which had the effect of stirring Jaden from his trance.
