I believe it's just her grandma, and probably her mum, having their maiden family names. In many cultures/countries women don't change their family names when they marry. In my own country everyone has two surnames (one from the father and another from the mother) and nobody changes their family name when they marry. I believe that in China, women keep their family name and the children get their paternal family name. So MC, dad and sister should have the same surname but mum and grandma should have different surnames.
