[Escape is Impossible has joined the chatroom.] Escape is Impossible: "Hello, is anyone there? I was advised to come here after the deed was done." Wishful Thinking: "Ahh, a new memeber joins us this day. Welcome, if you have any issues or questions feel free to reach out. After all, we all share a similar interest here." Escape is impossible: "I only have one question right now. How do I properly dispose of the body?" As I gazed at the absurd chat before me I could only pray in my heart and ask again. "System, what do want me to do again?" "Host has 8 hours to apprehend the murderer known as Escape is Impossible before he successfully disposes of his victim's body. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the host."

Moments

Victim: The author clearly has a love of the Elder Scrolls series and this is shown is his writing. Lore, mods, and npcs are well understood and this allows for the author to expand upon the world with little to no discrepancies from the original lore.

HOWEVER, my expectations for this book were a LOT higher considering the amazing premise.

With the addition of the 500+ mods I expected to enjoy a much more flushed out reading experience of adventure and questing, but the story just progresses from one arc to the next while greatly neglecting the sense of awe and wonder that Elder Scrolls players derived from discovering the many secrets and lore of the world.

This story is not bad by any means. In fact, I'd even say that its the best fanfic on this site. Sadly, that only requires it to be average and this is saddening considering the IMMENSE potential this story had.

Just imagine it.
- 500+ mods that essentially allow the author to add customize and already amazing world.

- 6 games of lore that can be integrated into this story affording the author a plethora of material to work with.

- A starving fanbase waiting for the next installment in the Elder Scrolls series(lets be honest ESO can't hold a candle to Skyrim).

- I'm going to say it again. 500+ MODS

'Sigh... Someone please do this series justice and write a novel that meets my expectations and quenches my thirst for more adventures in SKYRIM.'

Ignore my internal lamentations. I'm merely disappointed at what could have been. It's like my experience with the movie Birdbox with everyone posting about how amazing it was only to be met with a subpar experience.

With that said, If you love the Elder Scrolls series read this book. My experience and taste are not yours after all.

I'm glad the Little Bro finally caught on. I was starting to think he was ret*rded and his status as a genuis was unfounded. Well, he's still young. View More

I liked the beginning of Dexter, but as the series progressed he started to lose his edge and even started breaking his own rules. However, the idea of someone involved in law enforcement being a psycho could make for a interesting arc if I play it write. As you can see, making adversaries for the MC is easy enough, but finding a partner or friend for the MC is hard considering his situation. I have a few ideas but I'm trying to introduce the character so its smooth and unforced. View More

Tisah: I would also hope to see more victims like MC on a similar mission as him ( someone who witnessed a gory murder of his loved ones, etc). You can show the contrast between the dark side and the bright side that way. It will make your story darker, yet with a touch of a hopeful light. By the way, there was this English TV show by the name of Dexter, where the MC is a forensic expert who secretly goes about murdering criminals. I liked the show very much, if you find some time then you may want to check it out for some ideas.

You're right. When I revise earlier chapters, I'll be sure to make the MC's reaction more realistic and address the issue of getting his body back. By the way, the idea of having emotions influence the future evolutionary path of the MC is an excellent idea. View More

Tisah: I have read till chapter 11 and I must say I loved the story so far. But why not give the MC his body back? I mean, as a normal person his first thought should be getting a body rather than revenge. Well if you want a nonhuman protagonist, you can always try to turn his race into a half-devil ( probably an incarnation of Wrath from the seven deadly sins, seeing as the MC died in hatred).

Thanks for the compliment. I was actually having a few doubts about the 'Diary' chapters, but this was a huge confidence booster. View More

Aroona: I really like this ‘Diary’ part of the story. They give the reader a break from the plot while also giving insight to the emotions of the MC. Great idea!

I've always loved the nonhuman protagonists and if things work out as I planned, I see no need to make the MC human again. View More

Hmm, what's that? I'm shameless for reviewing my own work?

Well, you know how things go. As you experience life, shameless encounters are bound to cross your path and make your life more colorful.

Hmm, I didn't have to go so far and give myself 5 stars in every category? Why of course I did. I simply take pride in what I do. View More

I implore you to watch cartoons once more. Shows like Adventure Time, Bob's Burgers, and recently Amphibia make my life a little more complete. Just give it a chance. View More

julis: Adventure Time? 😂 Random.
I haven't watched cartoons in years. Don't even know what the kids watch these days.

I absolutely love this story. The mix of supernatural elements, the horror elements, and the unique sense of comedy Chen Ge brings to the table makes this story distinguishable from many other stories found on this site. View More
