Nah I am back lol, it's just taking waay longer than expected to go through everything and I have had to make some changes to how I want to progress the story since after reading it I am a bit tempted to edit the whole thing to be better but yeeah will see... But I am just about there, will start releasing asap
Updates will most likely be a bit slow initially as I get back into things, but you can expect a new chapter next week and I will hopefully be able to get 1 to 3 chapters released weekly after that until I get my groove back!

I am enjoying the book so far but the grammar in this sentence is real bad, Hope you don't mind some advice.. When writing take note of the tense you are writing in and use words in the same tense " Norimitsu is known as the largest Ōdachi -'that has'- ever existed, with -'a'- length over 3 meters and 'a' weight over 14 kilograms, some 'say' that it -'was'- wielded by a giant, some 'say that' it 'was' created as an ornamental (a descriptive word here like 'piece or sword'), but the one thing that [true is] > 'is true', 'is that' this sword was crafted by a highly skilled..." I guess that a weapon would increase his damage output but I am not a big fan of swords, they are used waay too often imo. So If I decide to go with the weapon route, it will have to be a different, unique weapon like a huge mace or something.
I stayed silent while keeping to the shadows, jumping and swerving around him before dashing in every time I found an opening, I would proceed to land as many blows against him as I could, each time I managed to penetrate his defenses, it would immediately recover and then Derolo would blast me with another barrage of boulders.

Hi, that does sound like an interesting idea, but the 'big bad' would actually be the 'big good' lol, and I have yet to decide on what I am going to do for the 'Final Boss'. Thanks for the idea and all further ideas are VERY welcome! I will see how I decide to take it when the time comes, I still have a ton of planning to do.

Maybe something similar, but preferably a more permanent, sustainable strength increase. I am still fleshing this out, but I will add more details in the next chapter. XD
I have assigned him one more task so that he doesn't put all of his focus into 'high' drugs and aims towards a much broader category, he is currently in research on a type of super steroid. I need to buff up my clans base strength, so I believe that steroids will be greatly beneficial for my current clan at the moment, allowing a sudden surge in strength while still being somewhat affordable.

After I have finished creating a plan of action that I will need to complete, I leave the hole I have dug out and slowly edge out of the thorn bush to see if there is anyone or anything around. I don't see anything so I slowly walk around as I chew on some grass, 'Eww this tastes so bad! But I am really hungry.' This may be a side effect of gaining a new body, my body seems to crave nutrition to fill the void of death, more investigation will be needed.

He want to test this by trying not to die of unnatural causes before old age, and then when he has passed the average lifespan of a person, to slowly 'wither away'. If he just keeps getting older and older without showing signs of actually dying, he could assume that he can't die by just aging. I don't want to spoil too much by saying anymore, but this was his though process at the time, hope that helps somewhat.
I concentrate on the symbol to try and activate my shadow abilities, but it seems that my shadow space has been reset as I can barely fit my hand in the space. I will have to improve that later, but I first have to recreate my other symbols if I want a chance to actually die of old age for once. I want to run a test to see if I can even die of old age and if my Immortality will work the same if I were to die that way.

Besides the Weakness of the DF, a strong enough Haki can beat most DF users for example, Garp, Rayleigh and Roger, this bro has a path to surpass them without a DF so why not go for a more unique stroy?
