It's a decent read, but the use of heavy AI has the whole story out of whack. Like for example at one point it is stated that the normal car brands don't exist in that world. But then a few chapters later it's states that Lamborghini is asking for the desgins of the avantador he used in the Fast and furious game he made. I kinda gave up at that point. I don't know if it a translation, if it isn't it borrows heavilly from chinese fics. So I wouldn't recommend it, but that's just my opinion.
Honestly, it's pretty boring so far, only got to chapter 5 but it's just too boring. It's mostly just a summary of events, barely any dialogue. The story doesn't feel that well thought out and he is rushing it. Not worth it imo.

If you want to do eye powers you could use the eyes of Adam(the first human being) from the records of reganorak, if I remember correctly it allowed him to copy the moves and techniques used by the gods.
I have a lot of ideas to make him powerful, much of them stray from the generic ideas like Eight Gates, Sharingan, Six Eyes, etc. I feel like since I have the option to make anything I want, it's a shame if I were to still stick close to the things seen normally in fanfictions no?

There is always some amount of brainwashing involved. Like them telling the kids how heroic the shinobis are, how they save princesses, and things like that. That's just how child soldiers are made, make everything seem like it's a good thing.
For a year, the academy didn't actually teach any fighting to the kids. It was only from the next year that they were taught the shinobi arts.

Spoilers: Basically, Sasuke was like any child, happy and loved. But when his big bro slaughtered the whole clan besides him and tortured him with some illusions of what he did. Only then did Sasuke become the emo that he was in the later episodes. He is always thinking of ways to kill his older brother and how to get stronger. Though I always forget when exactly it happens, the first year at least, he is a pretty normal boy.
