It's an incredibly slowburn and there's only 40 something chapters, which will most likely be abandoned after a few more chapters. So wait till u have atleast 150 chapters before u start reading it, especially when each chapter is almost going day by day. Interesting enough but most of the chapters are just talking about magic theory, incredibly wordy but nothing interesting. Like its chapter 32 when I am writing this and the year is probably 770, the main story of fairy tail begins at 784. We will be chugging along till chapter 500 before that even starts.
It’s hard to find a good fairy tail fic I just hopes it’s not a harem. But this shit right here is peak.
honestly this is a disapointment. The mc is still a 8year old child after 80chapters. the years is 769 the main story begin in 784 and the main cast is in 777, this means after 80chapters we are not even close to meet tthe main cast. the story is only : mission 8years old come : wait why are you 8 years old, boom powerful magic the 8years old win. add to that the inconsistencies : The mc start at 8years old join the guild in 769 spend 2 years and half there should be 11, yet is still somewhat 9. and the years is not 771 but stil 769 ... And the "Main" if I can call that plot point which is the council will pass a law banning assassination from light guild so maybe there will be a war going on is for 2years going on in the background, brought up every 15 or so chapters like it is something new, and forgotten. basically youll get no progression, no meeting the main cast the story is about 5 people mostly. a child protagonist with childish mentality which is okay being a child but like bro for the 20 or so chapters or if there is improvement but not for the whole story. nothing really going on in the chapter themselves apart from magic theory a little bonding there and there which grows old with the same caracters. And there is no progression at all, like why did I even read it ? the point of fanfiction is mainly to bring a major change to the story and sees what happens with it, what are the reactions of the main casts etc... In this story there is no change at all being made, no reaction. Nothing really interesting going on. The story lack a soul.
Well, if the character is only going to have one love interest, I vote for Irene. Honestly, I've never seen her used. The interaction between the two would be fantastic. You know, Irene has a lot of magical knowledge, and the main character likes to learn everything related to magic.(Translate)
No consistency in story, details always changing, nothing stays the same, no point reading because all the details you remember before won’t be there in the next chapter. Shame it was good, but multiple “retcons” just don’t make it worth wasting time anymore. If you can ignore plot points changing or just not happening at all even though they already happened, or the mc’s appearance, age, or magic changing at the drop of the hat, then I guess you can read this since the story was pretty good. Would’ve gave this a one star for the wasted time, but I did read 70 chapters before dropping so it was at least good enough if you could ignore everything else
Bro all I can say, {God is my witness} this is too peak. Like this should be a separate novel in itself. Fairy tail should pay this guy 😭. Peak fiction at its finest

Although the writing has merit, but I can't really enjoy anything else due to the ridiculous slow pacing. Chapters after chapters of nothing.
Love the Story. you just need to get your timeline and ages of Oberon Correct . Chapter 1 started in X769, Oberon turned 9 that year. It was X770 in chapter 50, it should be year X771 in Chapter 80, and oberon would be 10 years old, turning 11 that year.
You should add the Tragedy tag. Killing the MC’s family in the early chapters is sick, even if it contributes to the MC’s opness. Thus, this story is not for me.

Enjoyed the story up until chapter 90 ish. There are quite a few inconsistencies that are irritating. Another fic with the op child prodigy who is op as all hell at 11 years old after training for a small ammount of time. if that bothers you dont read it. spoilers below The whole point of having the story take place in the world of fairy tail. is to interact with and take part in the story of fairy tail after 100 chapters the main cast of the show is still another 6 ish years from joining fairytail let alone being relevant to the plot. Literally zero relevant timeskips. author could have very easily time skipped a couple times to show the main character develop his abilities more. Laxus in canon achieves S class at 17 years old an already incredible feat. but here laxus is basically S class at 10 and already 4th strongest in the guild. How tf does that make any kind of sense. I was very much looking forward to Oberon fighting acknologia on tenrou island during natsus S class trial because thats his whole character. but considering we are at chapter 100 natsu isnt even in the timeline yet AND MC HAS ALREADY BEEN OFFERED THE TITEL OF WIZARD SAINT AT 9 FUUUUUC KING YEARS OLD. i'll check back in around chapter 2000 to see if we have gotten to the 7 year time skip or not. by that time oberon should be strong enough to one shot acknologia.

Overall I like it, but I want to address a fee inconsistencies. 1. For like 60 chapters we are told that Oberon is 9 years old but all of a sudden he becomes 8. 2. Cosmic barrier. Didn’t he create it when he was dighting that woman mercenery with a stolen rifle? Why are we told like the fact that his barrier blocks magic is something new, when he created it a while ago? 3. Why were they amazed at the fact that Oberon got a golden key, when Alana, Laxus, and Oberon were sitting in the guild hall right before the S-class exam? He already had a golden key before. He got one, if I’m not mistaken - Aries, from treasury, where he sold all of his treasures he found on the bottom of the sea plus given up all of his savings for it. I mean, story is nice, but these contradictions are kinda breaking it for me.

This story has been honestly great so far. I came across this fic randomly and decided to give it a shot and safe to say i am satisfied with how I've spent my time.I understand that this fic isn't for everyone as the pacing is very slow, but personally I'm actually enjoying the time the author puts into fleshing out the MC's experiences and bonds with canon characters. The characters of Fairy Tail themselves aren't treated like background noise and have actual qualities about them that make them feel like actual people instead of NPC's to the MC's story that 90% of fanfics everywhere do. Now, to get some of my grievances about the story so far. At times, there are points where the author seems to forget where they are in the story, such as the MC's age or how they look,I and many other readers need some clarification on what is and isn't. There's also plenty of spelling and grammatical errors throughout the story, which i hope the author will fix soon. Overall, though, this Fanfic is probably my second favorite Fairy Tail fanfic I've ever read so far, and I hope it continues to be the case. Thank you.
I've already 50 chapters of this great novel (trust me). You will not be disappointed with the fantasy adventure following the MC around the world of Fairy Tail, especially with his engaging and unique magic.
