CKtalon: This is a award-winning short story that's only 251 chapters long. It's about the length of most contemporary science-fiction books with about 4 major arcs, with each arc having a clear focus for survival. Although there's a book and movie named The Martian that follows a similar premise, this story is built on a question found on the Internet: If you were an astronaut on a mission to moon, and you see the Earth explode, what would be your first reaction?
Hence, the same challenges and ones even more challenging are what our protagonists face in this story, especially when there's no Earth to provide them any support.
With the cast being a bare minimum of three characters, it makes you deeply feel for them while also enjoying their antics when the mood is tense due to the looming doom. You can feel the subtle changes in their behavior as the sense of loneliness, despair, and helplessness gets to them. It really makes you feel empathy for these characters that it's bitter-sweet when the story ends.
The author has done his homework in the scientific aspects of the book, and being a physicist by training, I'm rather impressed. It's still very much grounded in reality and not something totally out there. While being science-fiction, it also delves into (among others) the age-old philosophical question: "What is the meaning of life?"Dead on Mars

The actual novel is if fanatasy/supernatural met Star Trek with alien civilzations, space travel in space ships and a huge powerful orginization that is in chrage of worlds which the MC works for.

Strv: Ok just to be clear, about whay people complain.
• The author makes a lot of mechanical mistakes, sometimes there's half a paragraph missing and so.
• The same about logical stuff. Facts differ in different chapters, things change their nature.
• The writing style? The what? Out of the last 10k words, I've readabout 6k. It's not only enormously repetitive, like we are all compleate idiots and need to read the same shit a hundred times to get it.. So annoying. Talking of the style it gets really boring.
• The main issue people bothering is the story drifted away from what it was, maybe not what it is supposed to be but it is not what people who started reading wanted to read. So simple! Go check earlyer chapters, there's actual engineers and technical people interested in mech designing, systems and etc.
And you should know people are actually paying their hard-earned money. Like they go to their destined job. Work their ass 8-12 hours a day, and pay for a good story. And they get disappointed.
I am unhappy with how crappy it turned because it's truly wasting of a time for me any longer, and I'm not even paying.
• I do not even want to comment the story itself as it is now.
• There's more, but I got to go in short, so I'll just copy the author shit-work and implement some of the earlyer mentioned things. It doesn't really matter because you mindless supporters will definitely get annoyed and won't read this far. And I will get that precious word counts and steal people's spirit stones. The answer to that is hard to describe unless you've had some experience in writing and publishing them online (whether it be WN/FF.net).
