I am so sorry ! cannot it is a webnovel rule, a freaking terrible system if you ask me. They remove so much freedom from the Authors and not even our editors can help. The site refuses to allow people to post free chapters after you have gone premium(as in the feature of putting up free chapters is literally removed from us). I recently was tryign to change my story over to a new one and accidentally deleted too many chapters due to this broken websites error. When I tried re-uploaded the free chapters they were locked. I immediately asked my editor for help, but she could not help me. Webnovel just continuously told me once a novel goes premium no chapter is allowed to be free anymore, not even bonus content. So when I re-uploaded my free chapters back (there should have been ten free chapters.) Webnovel locked all of them, and I begged more than one person asking them to unlock them for you guys. But was refused on all accounts. I am sorry. I am not a fan of this site and am thinking of stopping updating my stories entirely on here because of how rude, and just bad the site treats its authors. How unfriendly the site is to making changes, and how easily the site has errors on everything is a real deterrent. And the fact that the company won't spend time fixing their broken author services, but instead just keeps charging the authors fans more and more money. While removing more and more freedom and locking up more and more stuff from us authors. Is just disgusting behavior. I am sorry I really tried to get my chapters back to free. But I was denied by the higher ups. I do apologize, but there is literally nothing I can do.
