Well, I didn't really like the whole overpowered instantly part so I modified it to fit my narrative. I already know the struggle of having an instant op protag and it's not nice both for the reader and me.

Not really a nerf but more of a regulator. If he can instantly absorb the strength of those he kills then it would lose purpose since it'll just be your typical grinding-type leveling system.
