I think it's just that when he forcibly took it Kurama was sort of narrowing the opening he took it through only letting so much out at a time, but when he opened the metaphysical floodgates by allowing it to flow freely it basically quintupled the efficiency allowing naruto use much more power actively, stacking the fact Kurama was helping him direct and use it as well as maintaining sage mode constantly on top of that and boosting him with it, it's at the very least a multi-exponential boost.
But I will mold him into what I want. There were many things that were wrong with his canon version. He was stupid in everything outside of Shinobi related things. He was hotheaded and relied on Kurama for everything. He didn't even achieve his full potential. He should have the strongest body in the verse except the Otsutsukis. There is literally no reason that Sasuke should even come close to his base stats except genjutsu, reaction and perception, let alone KCM2.
