The word "sanity" is used in an uncommon way here. I used it to explain the difference between un-inked and inked. Then there is also the intensity of breaking through to the 9th rank directly. I figured having tethers to keep one focused in the toughest of times would be quite nice.
"The Supreme Elder put some limitations on my promotion. So on top of the rarity of such precious resources even here in the 3000 Worlds. I also must have sufficient anchors or tethers to sanity. That is why the Supreme Elder is so adamant about having this one marry many women. Even going as far as to hand over such fairies as Qing Ning, yourself and Ling Shi. Then you're gonna love what happens... OP done right is when the OP Character is truly, OP. I make sure that this happens... And I do take creative liberties with the series as there are several things that should have been adjusted from the Original Series anyway.
Half way through the trip he sensed something in the void. And he did his best to grab hold of it. His speed slowed slightly. But considering he was a Dao seal Realm it could be explained. The item he pulled towards him was, Primordial Earth Vein! A truly outstanding find. This was not just a ninth Rank resource. With this his defenses would be impregnable by almost anybody who wasn't trying their absolute best. It was the rumored highest rank resource.

I made it so that the 9th rank elements are known about. And do exist. They are just extremely rare. On top of that, only those who have the ability to refine them even have the ability to sense their location. With only one entity being an exception to this rule.
A short while later Lei JIn was at the teleport array and had been given the message to hand over to the outpost on the other side. Just before he left he received a message from his master. "Be sure not to settle for any weak ranked elements. You should always be refining 9th rank peak elements." The message said. Lei Jin smiled and cupped his hands saying, "Thank you to everyone who has helped me these years. I will make sure this message is delivered.". The Array hummed and Lei Jin disappeared from sight.

I used the name "Smiles" here because it was easier. Also I fail to see the problem. If there is a nameless girl, always smiling, That nickname would very quickly be assigned anyways. Aside from this, everything can be explained away as part of the plan between the two Old Ancestors that set their meting in motion in the first place. Furthermore, everyone who would read this, knows the character as Smiles, anyways.
Still Lei Jin had more time here. And enjoyed playing with the girl. He only knew that she had a nickname, "smiles". So he would call her that. It was funny to him since it was accurate.

Yang Kai is the MC of the original series "Martial Peak". And my character is the son created out of numerous chances coming together all at once. (I wanted the scene with Yang Kai and Su Yan all the way back towards the beginning of the Original Series, to finally come to fruition. It was the scene during the inheritance war arc where Su Yan mentioned the ginseng felt like a child to her. And then Yang Kai said "Do you want a child") I have had quite a lot of fun writing this fan fiction far more than the other ones I've written.
"Then this disciple will begin training at once." I said, paying proper respect. This was the famous Sect Master's Daughter. and she was about to inherit the position. A true 3rd Order Emperor. From what I knew of this world, that was the peak within Void World.
