Thechnically It's from the Original . because the V.A for Picollo couldn't pronounce the word in the dub . So they had to name it Special Beam Cannon .
Raditz was the same, he liked to name his attacks after days and days of the week! The higher his power level was, the stronger the technique could be, but piccolo had such a powerful attack when he took out Raditz, so this wasn't entirely true.

Sorry I misunderstood your comment at first . But the reason is that the woman voicing Goku voiced him in both DB (As a kid) and DBZ so they didn't really want to change the V.A . And it's not really rare to have a woman voice a guy . Naruto , Luffy , Astolfo , Gon , Killua , Kurapica , Shalnark and other characters . And honestly they all sound very cool .

That's the thing , you know . Devil Fruits are so vague and weird in terms of limits , that most poeple would assume that they have none (except some Zoans and Paramecias like Kilo-Kilo No Mi) Making the strenght of a Devil Fruit only limited by the user .
After that conversation with Whitebeard is over I still have a smile on my face. I can just imagine it, one of my children with Whitebeards fruit. That would be amazing, that fruit is undoubtedly the strongest Paramecia Devil fruit.
