Similar situations were used to present the antagonist and protagonist— but there are divergences and the story will continue to evolve to its own. This is a gratuitous side-project at best to keep myself from falling into a slump while working on an original peace on Wattpad — which I’ll be frank, is a world of issues. Writing is definitely not a feasible career path for me lol but I enjoy it. Anyway, character development is slow — I’m working on something’s that I do not like and trying to flesh them out more, so a re-vamp is in the future. The world building aspect of this story is predominantly inspired by my original WIP — but less heavy on the Slavic folklore. Is this information relevant? No, but you might have been curious. Everything is slow paced, from working out details in character behavior, to environment to chapter schedules. I’m trying to keep a standard pace, it’s somewhat working out, but not exactly.

The writing style is unique— this was the first thing I noticed. It a blend of informative, third person omnipresence and a neutral, creative showing “not telling” style. It isn’t something that you will run across frequently. The writer has an fluent and natural understanding of the English language — the grammar needs very little work, though I would consider shortening a few long paragraphs into more digestible pieces. This genre is new to me — that being system. It isn’t something I’ve read before or dabbled in, but the concept is interesting. It’s like isekai genre webtoons/novels — and the fantasy aspect and introduction to the character and steady buildup of the world around them is worth the time and investment. In all, it is worth its rating and I look forward to seeing how it concludes down the line.

I’ve read the first five chapters and so far I am impressed by the authors grasp of the English language despite it not being their first, or second, spoken language. There are few minor grammatical errors here and there, but nothing glaringly obvious to the point that is distracts away from the overall story. The beginning introduction into the characters and their dynamics is insightful, and the author has a good understanding of showing rather than telling as the saying goes. I’ll have to provide an updated review once I’ve completely read through all available chapters, but so far, it is worth the read and I would recommend it if you are interested in the josei genre.

Hello everyone! The author here with a short review of my own. Honestly, this story is a continuous work in progress. I’m not too pleased with the quality of my writing or how my characters are developed. Its a very good possibility that I will go back and revamp this story once its been finished because i believe it can be better. Poor writing quality aside, the update is unstable and needs a great deal of work, so bear with me while I figure everything out.
