I mean quite ridiculous reason to give this fic 2 stars but whatever. Ainz does appear but he's not the main character, and if you think the story is trash because of that then sure.

Here to give my review on this amazing fanfic! This is definitely a bit different, really something you rarely see here on webnovel (Which is another reason for why I uploaded it here). At first it seems a bit dull and boring, for the first like 10 chapters you start off in a ruined village. Not really what you'd expect from an overlord fanfic, but don't worry bout that because it picks up and only gets better from there. This isn't a story where the characters become insanely strong immediately but instead has a good albeit a bit slower pacing than your usual story. This doesn't have to do with the timeline progressing slowly but the author being more intricate and detailed about the events occurring. The author also has good grasp on how to write, we see actual good descriptions of medieval like society and it's functions. The mechanics of the economics and politics is also on another level, there's probably barely any webnovel here that can stand up to this one. The grammar is also impeccable. As for how the story moves: There won't be too much "action" especially in the first volume, but after you dive deeper and learn more you realize that every character has a goal and something set. That's what the beginning of the novel does. Beyond that it'll slowly pick up as the characters become more involved in the world's workings. (Also you might think that you need a lot of knowledge from overlord canon but it's not really necessary, to begin with this story doesn't just ride the canon it evolves with it.
