This is my first time ever writing a novel surrounding the mafia. I did it for a contest, but im still going even after the contest is over. Well actually if you keep reading you'd understand why she won't give him 20k. Ace is the type of person where she doesn't feel like she owes anyone anything. She might have her merciful moments, but she has a reason for everything. The reason why she didn't give the money to him is later explained and it's also a respect thing once you find out why she didn't give him the money. She's not just gonna give some guy money because he demanded it and threatened her. She isn't weak like that. She puts whoever tries to tell her what to do in their place.
