I bought this book on kindle to support the author because I’m a big fan of The Hitting Zone, but I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappointed with the ending. It seemed a little abrupt to me, with a lot of loose ends. What happened to Colin, the foster sister that Josh has, what Riley’s family’s like, is Mark the super straight guy Jett likes, who does Mark end up with, what does Josh end up doing in the future, etc etc? Like I understand that some things can be left to our own imagination, but the ending just left much to be desired. It felt more like a online novel that had to be ended abruptly with no side stories rather than what I would expect from a book. Please correct me if I am wrong or have somehow missed a chunk of writing and also note that I’m not say I don’t love the novel just for the sake of not loving it because I’m really trying.
😂😂😂
Noah thought about it. "Okay. Maybe I did."

He probably wouldn't have that much of a reaction if he didn't know beforehand that his nephew was coveting the man's son. Being the good uncle that he was, he decided to establish with his nephew's possible in-laws. In the near future, if ever Ji Yun managed to abduct Luo Yan, then, he could at least help them mediate with the Luo family.

"Why?" Zein tilted his head, feeling his own lips stretched into a smile. "You're plenty cute."
