I apologize like I said new writer and I do all my own editing I try to make it as grammatically correct as I can but sometimes stuff slips through. But thanks you for the comment I genuinely appreciate it as I want to make this as good a novel as I can hope you stick around and help keep me honest and push me to do better

Tyler realized the gap would need to be wider as the children were unconscious so he grit his teary and pushed harder. As the fire fighter squeezed pass with the children , both men were greated by a loud snap followed by Tyler screaming. The wall fragment that Tyler was somehow holding up snapped and crushed his legs .

When we arrive back in the training facility I ask Vinny and Sara if I can have a minute alone so I can explain everything to Tsun. I understand and agree and both wish me luck. When I let her out of the ball she seems excited since I already promised her las night that I would battle with her today. Since she was still upset about not getting a chance to fight. When I started explaining who we would be fighting and how strong they are she seemed to get even happier as she hopped around snorting with her eyes closed in an eye smile. (Picture) though she seemed less amused when I told her we may need to forfeit. She stubbornly kept refusing. I tried to reason with her saying I didn't want her to get hurt like Eevee and that Alex may try to deliberately hurt her in the battle. She just asked " why I didn't trust her to win" with a sad face. I was at a loss for words before I a told her I do trust her that I believe she will one day be the strongest pokemon and that she'll help me become the strongest trainer ever. "That's why I can never give up" is what she said back to that. I smiled and replied. " then let's go win"

Pidgeot is his fathers fastest Pokemon but there are other faster Pokemon out there. He is referring to the ability speed boost which like in games raises the Pokémon’s speed in battle. It also has extra effects in this universe in general that hasn’t come up yet as Lucas hasn’t had enough experience with Pokémon’s abilities to realize that this universe is different than the game
As we wondered the store i activated my eyes. doing tests with my father when i was younger we discover I could also see the potential and ability of eggs. I couldn't see anything else but that was becuase the Pokemon had no lvl or stats at this point, but this was more than enough. As I perused the store with my family my sister had run up to hold my hand and help me find a good egg. I started the search in the Zubat section. I always loved Crobat and it was the epitome of a extremely fast hard hitting Pokemon that I planed to build my style of battle around.

This is an over head view of the battle field
10 minutes later Vinny and I arrive at the training facility and go stand near Sara who got there a few minutes before us. Inside the stadium type of building there was a large open area in the middle. (think something similar to an outdoor sports arena like like a football or soccer stadium only slightly bigger). Where 2 dozen moderately sized stone platforms stood each painted with the same design and and some kind of machine next to each one. (picture). Around the outskirts of the stadium there was a multiple of rooms, too many to be able to count from a glance. All the students waited expectantly until Mrs Scott showed up followed by a familiar plump red headed woman. "Hello I'm Mrs Annette and everyone who need a pokemon should get up and follow me we have a wide selection of partners for you to choose. Move quickly as we do not have all day." The red headed woman said before she turned around and started walking. Vinny along with about 100 others got up and moved quickly to catch up to her. Only turning to say " Hopefully some of of your luck rubs off on me." While grinning. I really hope he returns with something good but I guess that will depend on his luck. ( yes I created multiple wheels to decide his fate. I'll leave them available at the end of chapter to those interested in looking but there will be spoilers .)

I myself didn't know as my dad only taught me about the importance of training. Then a brown haired boy stood up and spoke. " well that would be that training is focused on increasing a Pokémon's stats and does little for increasing level while battling and defeating other pokemon helps raise a Pokémon's level quickly with little to no improvement of stats." He sat when he finished. " that's right Mr Mathew's but how about raising your hand next time instead of interrupting." Mrs Scott spoke. The boy just shrugged unbothered while the group of girls around him giggled. The lunch bell then rang and Mrs Scott said "Alright when you come back we are going to be having your battle tactics class after lunch all of those you don't have a Pokemon will be given one at that time before breaking up into pairs to battle."

I mean I know from reading to many comment section that there are a lot of perverted readers lol so plus got to show love to the Og girl in Pokemon. In my head canon where ash actually grows up he and misty end up together
Once we were done with lunch we went to the dormitory. There was one large main entrance and lobby with a door on each side listed Girl, and Boys respectively. On the girls side my eyes instantly were drawn to the all to recognizable red headed girl even if she was wearing a school uniform and looked slightly younger then her canon self. "Hello first years" the slightly older looking boy spoke. " I'd like to welcome you all to Cerulean academy I'm a 6th year Frank Newport here you'll learn how to become proper trainers so let's all work towards that goal. To all the boys if there is an issue or you have any questions feel free to come ask me my room is 203 which means the third door on the second floor. If I'm not there you will most likely find me in the training or battle areas." Then misty spoke up for the girls "Hello I'm Misty Williams I'm a 5th year who specializes in water type pokemon my short term goal is to won't the inter academy tournament and represent Kanto during the the international tournament. My long term goal is to become not just the first water type but also the first woman champion. I tell you this to show the level of seriousness you all should have and the type of goals you should set for yourself. My room is is 212 so if you need anything you can find me there or training in the water type training area." After the introduction both led there collective students to there designated rooms. Where we could form pairs ourselves or they would randomly assigned a roommate. Vinny and I agreed it would be better to room with each other than a random. After filling out the form. Frank handed 3 sets of the academic uniform in our size. (Picture)

I appreciate it but honestly after it happened I sat down and thought about future team composition and it actually is far better this way especially when you consider the ability and Kolton’s base speed. Just like Mankey has a broken attack this jolteon will probably be one the the fasted pokemon when battling in this universe so he will have 2 mons that have a huge advantage in the future
With that decided, the only other big even left before I started school would be Eevee hatching and naming. The issue being what would I want Eevee to evolve into. I know it was a far way but I would want to name Eevee something that would suit there final form. With Umbreon being favored with it covering Tsun's and my future Crobats weeknesses to phychic. My mother seeing my face asked what had me zoning out . "Just thinking about Eevee and the future and what to evolve them into." My mother laughed at my statement. "Sweetheart though trainers can force their Eevee to evolve into any form most prefer to leave it up to their partner." That makes sense I thought I mean even if they are my Pokemon each is still an individual and probably would want a say in its own evolution. I guess everything just comes down to luck, besides I like almost every Eeveelution minus the ribbon wearing breast cancer awareness fairy dog. I contemplate using one of my prayers to Seraphina to see if she could help prevent such an occurrence. No matter how much I want too I also know it's a waste and besides what are the odd. (Author here and to be precise the odds are exactly 1 in 8 since I will be spinning a wheel let me know what you are hoping for I know what I want but am to afraid to write it in the off chance it hits don't want to be accused of rigging it. I'll also spin a wheel moving forward on if a pokemon will be shiny I'll make the odds 1 in 10 so that hopefully at least 1 of his future Pokemon will be."

Honestly yes I agree I was trying to get the ai drawing system i use to find something similar to this but I couldn’t for the life of me get it to draw anything halfway decent
The next morning my father and I consoled both my mother and sister who were tearing up. Both of them had there arms around me making me promise to call back everyday my mother also adding that I make sure to brush my teeth and shower and keep my room clean. After about 15 minutes my father eventually put an end to it saying it was time and I need to go or I'll be late. After stepping outside I saw the familiar face of my fathers friend. His hair starting to grey with a large mustache on his face and piercing eyes standing out. I quickly approach him returning both Tsun and Eevee to there balls. " I'm sorry to keep you waiting Mr John." " it's fine lad and get used to the habit of calling me Mr. Oliver or others may take offense and give you a hard time in the future. Enough of the formalities though are you ready Lucas ." I just nodded and stepped next to him and Hypno teleported us right in front of one of the largest buildings I've ever seen. "Orientation for first years will be held in 15 minutes in the auditorium I'll see you there."

Well I guess I’ll do a realistic review myself though as the author I may be a bit biased. I do think this novel is worth a read to anyone who enjoys Pokemon fanfics. I know it’s not perfect and could definitely be improved in a number of ways but I feel it has been getting better as a imwrite more a more. My punctuation and grammar aren’t perfect but compared to a lot of other novels I feel that it is better than average. I also try to use a wide variety of descriptive words so the story isn’t repetitive and I add pictures of important characters.
