If you mean the Last Soldier Arc, no not at all. They wear their uniforms but it's different from their usual continuum attire. More of a wasteland version of it mixed in with tribal wear (well except for Mary and Leutenegger who wears just altered versions of everyday wear) Mary wears a coat made out of an old radiation suit scrapped with cloth and rags for warmth and air for example.
With the help of the veteran medic, she took turns overtime to tend for the old friend of hers. Sometimes a visitor or two would come and give her a gift or so, or would just try to communicate with her, mostly consisting of simple subjects such as nature and personal liking.

Stopping the door before entering, the talk figure looks at the two with a serious and stern face. "Ich war von Euch, die versucht haben, das unbekannte Gesicht auszurauben. Ich habe über sie gelesen, sie ist militärisch ausgebildet und auch eine gute Attentäterin. Verschwenden Sie also nicht Ihr Leben mit Geld." True, but Mary was brought up in an isolated town so her knowledge is really compact even with ally tribes around, she stayed among the tribe and the forest only.

Also, kudos for recognising the use of Fallout as a reference, I assume you played it before. I love the novels and the game adaptations they make since it gives some realistic fiction to it but without the whole technological advancement mumbo-jumbo.
