If you consider his side missions, it take's up most of his time while he's also the type to watch multiple animes at once. Not even considering that he also reads novels and stuff as well. Also he doesn't change over time because he's basically immortal with the magicule's and because his mentality is that of a child, the magicule's just made it so he was a child for a reason which will be explained later on in future chapters. And because he's basically immortal, his appearance doesn't really need to change for those 7,000 years. But his appearance could change if his mentality changes along with it.

Yes I do plan for there to be a romantic interest for the MC but it will not show any time soon until later, later on in the future. She is not canon but I will make it seem like she was apart of the original novel. Like she was someone who existed but was never mentioned in the original novel of tensura if you get what I mean. So I hope this answers your question.
