By going this route, Mc doesn’t see her in the act but the message that she was seeing someone else is clear as she is sleeping in bed with another man. Hope this helps as I truly want this story to keep going but know that you’ll receive an immense amount of hate for this.

Yeah now Mc is plain evil, I saw a documentary once where a girl had survived her kidnapping even after the horrible things done to her she still managed to heal and live a normal life. So yeah Mc killing a vicitm of abuse like that is out of character for what you portrayed so far.
